  • 사물 인터넷은 네트워크가 발달함에 따라 특정 디바이스의 통신시스템을 넘어 모든 사물간의 네트워크 통신과 데이터 공유를 가능하게 하여 새로운 컨텐츠 서비스를 창출할 수 있는 새로운 패러다임 기술이다. 사물 인터넷에서 핵심적인 이기종 사이의 연결 기술을 담당하는 미들웨어의 중요성은 사물 인터넷이 확장됨에 따라 증가하고 있으며 이 미들웨어의 보안 위협에 대한 연구의 중요성 또한 높아지고 있다. 특히 미들웨어는 각 사물 사이의 제어를 담당하고 있으므로 보안 공격을 당할 경우 그 피해가 치명적이다. 우리는 이 치명적인 피해를 방지하기 위한 보안 대책 마련에 앞서 사물인터넷의 미들웨어를 분석하고 보안 위협에 대해 연구한다. 이를 토대로 본 논문에서 사물인터넷의 미들웨어 보안 대책 및 개발에 대해 연구 방향을 제시한다.

  • There are various clients, information appliances, sensors in a home network environments. These devices can dynamically join a network, convey its capabilities, and learn about the presence and capabilities of other devices- all automatically. Most of a home network middleware provide the protocols that discovery devices and services. In this paper we look about service discovery protocol and security that is offered in Jini, UPnP, SLP, Bluetooth.

  • 다양하고 급속히 개발되는 USN 서비스에 대한 보안 서비스의 요구사항은 USN 서비스의 활성화에 큰 부담으로 작용하고 있다. 다양한 서비스 별 보안 표준기술 개발에는 많은 제약이 따른다. 보안 서비스 관점에서 USN 서비스들의 각 요소 별 추상화를 통해 참조 모델을 통해 USN 서비스에서의 보안 위협 분석을 통한 USN 보안 미들웨어 프레임워크 및 세부 컴포넌트 설계를 제안하고자 한다.

  • In the field of finance, Trading System of Securities is a very vulnerable application when it faces any small problems just for one minute. Since Trading System changes its environment from mainframes to client/server, its safety becomes the most important factor. Even though most If systems are configured by general guidelines currently, Trading System is an exception that it is configured by specific and rather ad hoc guidelines in order to ensure its safe management. In this thesis, I will prove the validity of specific and ad hoc configuration in the environment of Trading Systems where I use both XA interface system and Non-XA interface to configure its system based on 3-Tier Client/server computing environment through middleware, TP-Monitor, in the X/Open DTP Model. In order to validate the Trading System, I will compare and analyze the error of data of an order and ability to restore using both XA and Non-XA interfaces while testing take-over scenario on the assumption of the system's failure.

  • Radio frequency identification(RFID) system can identify an object using wireless transmission. RFID applications are numerous and far reaching. The most interesting and widely used applications are supply chain management for companies. Currently, RFID tags must be detached or killed for security and privacy reasons when tagged objects are purchased. In this paper, we present a new architecture that transfers information about products from the electronic product code information services (EPCIS) server of a company to an individual's personal purchases management (PPM) server when products with RFID codes are sold. It solves the security and privacy issues without detaching the tag. Moreover, the PPM server described in this paper allows customers to handle the expiration dates, updates, location management, and group management of products.

  • Along with the innovative enhancement of Internet technology and the emergency of distributed systems extended from client-server computing, it becomes indispensible and necessary to integrate and interconnect old legacy systems. Since building a distributed system requires consistency of integration, the proper reuse of incumbent systems is critical to successful integration of current systems to distributed ones. CORBA(Common Object Request Broker Architecture) and object wrapping technique can provide middleware solutions that extend the applications of a legacy system with little modification to the application level while keeping client consistency of standard interface. By using these techniques for system integration it is easier and faster to extend services on application development to distributed environments. We propose a model on object wrapping system that can manage, integrate, and separate the functions delivered from CORBA. We apply the object wrapping model specifically to integration of security system interfaces and also perform a test to verify the usability and the efficiency of our model.

  • Robotic systems have developed very rapidly over the past decade. Robot Operating System is an open source-based software framework for the efficient development of robot operating systems and applications, and is widely used in various research and industrial fields. ROS applications may contain various vulnerabilities. Various studies have been conducted to monitor the excution of these ROS applications at runtime. In this study, we propose a real-time attack detection system using event-based runtime monitoring in ROS 2. Our attack detection system extends tracetools of ros2_tracing to instrument events into core libraries of ROS 2 middleware layer and monitors the events during runtime to detect attacks on the application layer through out-of-order execution of the APIs.

  • The Grid is new infrastructure to provide computing environment for grand challenge research by sharing large-scale resources. Currently the Globus becomes a de facto standard middleware to construct Grid and supports core services such as resource management, security, data transfer, information services, and so on. However, it still needs more works and researches to satisfy requirements from various grid applications. A workflow management is becoming a main service as one of the important grid services for complex grid applications. We propose a Meta Scheduling Framework (MSF) in this paper. The MSF provides a XML-based Job Control Markup Language (JCML) for describing information and procedures of grid applications, and a workflow management service for scheduling the job using the JCML and for processing the job effectively.

  • This study suggested the mobile intelligent management system based on the cloud service. The mobile intelligent management system are composed of cloud server, middleware and sensor networks. Each modules are controlled on mobile environment and observed operating status of each apparatus for environment. In this pater, the image-based moving detection algorithm applied in order to detect an intruder and average 12.3% are measured in moving detection experiments. it was confirmed the validity of the security device.
