로하스 계층에 따른 천연화장품의 평가기준이 구매의도 및 구전의도에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Evaluation Criteria for Natural Cosmetics on Purchase and Word-of-mouth Intentions according to the LOHAS Class)

  • This study examines the effects of evaluation criteria for natural cosmetics on purchase and word-of-mouth intentions according to the LOHAS class. A survey was conducted from Feb. 2 to 17, 2013 and a total of 410 responses were analyzed using SPSS 18.0. The results of this study are described below. First, evaluation criteria for natural cosmetics had four dimensions - practical, aesthetic, promotional, and social criteria. Second, for the upper LOHAS class, all four dimensions of evaluation criteria for natural cosmetics were important relative to the middle and lower classes. Third, for the upper and middle LOHAS classes, purchase intentions were influenced by practical criteria. However, evaluation criteria had no effect for the lower LOHAS class. Fourth, the upper LOHAS class considered practical criteria, the middle LOHAS class considered practical and social criteria, and the lower LOHAS class considered aesthetic criteria, As a result, word-of-mouth intentions were influenced by evaluation criteria for natural cosmetics.

잠재계층분석을 활용한 결혼이주여성의 건강관련행동 군집유형과 영향요인 (Health related behavior patterns and associated factors among marriage immigrant women using latent class analysis)

  • Objectives: This paper aims to identify the health related behaviors patterns and its associated factors among marriage immigrant women in Korea, and discusses their application to health promotion strategies. Methods: The study participants were 7,591 immigrant wives in Gyeonggi province who participated in health examinations conducted by the Korea Association of Health Promotion in 2011-2013. The participants completed self-administered questionnaires on sociodemographics, psychological characteristics, health status and health care factors, and health related behaviors. Results: A 3-latent-class model of health behaviors was identified related to 'lack of physical activity', 'abnormal diet', and 'not experienced medical check-up': 'high risk class', 'middle risk class', and 'low risk class'. Most of the participants belong to 'middle risk class'. Country of origin, age, length of stay, number of children, work status, health insurance status, and unmet health care needs were associated with problematic health behaviors in middle risk health behavior class. Conclusions: Health promotion and intervention programs for marriage immigrant women and their family members need to consider the health behavior patterns of physical inactivity, abnormal diet and no medical check-up and develop multiple behavior intervention with pre-existing program modification.

중산층 자녀가 지각한 부모 양육방식이 공동체의식에 미치는 영향: 자녀의 삶의 만족도의 조절효과를 중심으로 (Influence of Perceived Parenting Style on the Sense of Community of Middle-Class Children: The Moderating Effects of Life Satisfaction)

  • This study investigated the influence of perceived parenting style on the sense of community of middle-class adolescents and if adolescent' life satisfaction has a mediating effect on the relationship between perceived parenting style and sense of community. The study population consisted of a nationally representative sample of elementary and middle school students who completed the Korean Children and Youth Panel Survey of the National Youth Policy Institute in 2010. Among the 4,729 participants of the data, 2,876 were eligible for research focused on the middle class. Descriptive statistics included frequency, average, and standard deviation; in addition, reliability and stepwise regression results were reported using SPSS statistics. The results were as follows. First, the sense of community was 2.86 out of 4-point Likert scale. Monitoring (3.28) was the highest among the perceived parenting styles followed by affection (3.17), reasoning (3.01), over-expectation (2.57), over-interference, and inconsistency (2.40). Second, among subcategories of perceived parenting style, affection, reasoning, monitoring, and over-expectation had a statistically significant influence on sense of community. A higher perceived parenting style had a higher sense of community of middle-class children. Third, the life satisfaction of children had a statistically significant moderating effect on relationship between perceived parenting style and sense of community; therefore, the influence of perceived parenting style on sense of community could change according to life satisfaction.

사회경제적 수준별 초기 청소년의 건강 관련 삶의 질에 미치는 영향요인 (Factors Influencing the Health-related Quality of Life by Socioeconomic Level during Early Adolescence)

  • Purpose: This cross-sectional study was carried out to identify factors influencing the health-related quality of life according to socioeconomic level during early adolescence. Methods: Participants were 617 middle school students in $1^{st}$ and $2^{nd}$ grade. All measures were self-administered. Data were analyzed using SPSS 21.0 program and factors affecting the health-related quality of life were analyzed by t-test, ANOVA, Duncan test, Pearson's correlation coefficient, and multiple regression analysis. Results: According to the level of Family Affluence Scale (FAS), 19.1% of the participants were in the high class, 66.5% in the middle class, and 14.4% in the low class. We have found statistically significant differences among the high, middle, and low classes regarding the health-related quality of life, health perception, resourcefulness, family function, and social capital. The most influential factors of the health-related quality of life were found to be resourcefulness, family function, and social capital in the high and the middle class. Conclusion: The implication of this study is that it is important for the Education Ministry and middle school teachers to help adolescents develop internal coping resources as well as to develop school-curriculums considering social values and norms related to social capital in order to improving their health-related quality of life.

The Effects of Physical Education Class Participation and Perception on Stress and School Life Adaptation

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the relationship between stress and school life adaptation according to the degree of participation in physical education class and perception of middle school students. In order to achieve this research objective, the subjects of this study were sampled using cluster random sampling from male and female students attending middle schools in Gwangju Metropolitan City and Jeollanam-do in 2020. 150 males and 150 females, a total of 300 people were sampled. The statistical analysis used for data analysis was frequency analysis, exploratory factor analysis, reliability analysis, and multiple regression analysis using SPSS Windows 21.0 Version. The conclusions obtained in this study through data analysis by such methods and procedures are as follows. First, it was found that middle school students' participation in physical education classes and perceptions had a partial effect on stress. Second, it was found that the degree of participation and awareness of middle school students' physical education class had a partial effect on their adaptation to school life. Third, middle school students' stress was found to have a partial effect on school life adaptation.

중장년층 일자리 요구사항 분석 및 인력 고용 매칭 시스템 개발 (Job Preference Analysis and Job Matching System Development for the Middle Aged Class)

  • 저출산 및 인구 고령화가 가속화되면서, 중장년 퇴직자 등 노동 소외 계층의 취업난 해결은 우리 사회의 핵심 과제로 등장하고 있다. 온라인에는 수많은 일자리 요구 정보가 산재해 있으나, 이를 중장년 구직자에게 제대로 매칭시키지는 못하고 있다. 워크넷 취업 로그에 따르면 구직자가 선호하는 직종에 취업하는 경우는 약 24%에 불과하다. 그러므로, 이러한 문제를 극복하기 위해서는 구직자에게 일자리 정보를 매칭시킬 때 선호하는 직종과 유사한 직종들을 추천하는 소프트 매칭 기법이 필수적이다. 본 연구는 중장년층에 특화된 소프트 직업 매칭 알고리즘과 서비스를 고안하고 개발하여 제공하는 것을 목표로 한다. 이를 위하여 본 연구에서는 1) 대용량의 구직 활동 기록인 워크넷 로그로부터 중장년층의 일자리 특성 및 요구 추세를 분석하였다. 2) 중장년층의 일자리 추천을 위해 직종 유사도 기준으로 일자리 분류표(KOCM)를 재정렬하였다. 이 결과를 이용하여, 3) 중장년에 특화된 인력 고용 소프트 매칭 직업 추천 알고리즘(MOMA)을 개발하여 구인 구직 웹사이트에 적용하였다. 자체 저작한 중장년층 특화 일자리 분류표(KOCM)를 이용한 소프트 일자리 매칭 시스템의 정확도를 측정하였을 때, 실제 고용 결과 기준, 하드 매칭 대비 약 20여 배의 성능 향상을 보였다. 본 연구내용을 적용하여 개발한 중장년층 특화 구직 사이트는 중장년층의 구직 과정에서 입력 정보 부담을 최소화하고 소프트 매칭을 통해 사용자의 요구직종에 적합한 일자리를 정확하고 폭넓게 추천함으로 중장년층의 삶의 질 향상에 기여할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

Habermas의 세 행동체계를 융합한 중학교 가정교과 식생활 수업 평가 (Evaluation of Dietary Life Instruction in Middle School Home Economics by Converging Habermas's Three Systems of Action)

  • This study developed and implemented a teaching · learning process plan for Home Economics in middle school by converging Habermas's three systems of action. It also examined the effect of the class through the evaluation of students and teachers who participated in the class. This study developed 10 sessions for a teaching and learning process plan by converging three systems of action and reconstructing learning elements related to 'balanced meal plan' and 'food choice' according to the practical action teaching model. After class, we surveyed the degree of help for students, analyzed the learning activity sheets, and analyzed the reflection journals of teachers to evaluate the effects of the class. This class was found to be the most helpful in practicing the healthy dietary life of students, expanding their thoughts, understanding learning contents, and helping them change their lives. As a result of analyzing the learning activity sheet, students gained enlightenment by reflecting and evaluating their action through the class; in addition, changes in interest, awareness, and action appeared. Through the convergence of three systems of action, teachers who practiced the class criticized and realized the act that students were unconsciously accepted. In addition, it confirmed the possibility that students could change their lives, family and society by promoting optimal nutrition and health for a good life that pursues the best good.

A Study on Software Education Donation Model for the Social Care Class

  • In this paper, we propose an effective software education donation model for the social care class. The types of software education for elementary, middle, and high school for the social care class are in the order of after school classes, club activities, creative experiences, and regular classes. In elementary school students, it is effective to precede visual programming education based on block coding and to conduct curriculum convergence with SW and HW at the beginning, and high school students are carrying out text programming education like Python. Software education for social care class The contribution activity model can be classified into five types such as geographically difficult area, multicultural family areas, orphanage, reformatory, and basic livelihood security recipient. In addition, the survey results show that the students' interest in software education and their satisfaction are all very high at 96%. Effective software education for the social care class In the donation model, the lecturers consist of responsible professors, lecturers, and assistant instructors. Software training for the social care class is effective on a year-by-year basis, so that students can feel authenticity and trust. Software education contents focus on visual programming and physical computing education in elementary or middle school, and text programming and physical computing education in high school. It is necessary to construct a software education donor matching system that helps efficient management of software education donations by efficiently matching schools (consumers: elementary, middle, high school) and software education donors(suppliers).

Reading Against the Grain: Whiteness, Class, and Space in William Faulkner's As I Lay Dying

  • Many critics on William Faulkner's As I Lay Dying have read Addie Bundren as the disrupter of patriarchal power. By raising a question about the usefulness of language, which is the symbolic power of patriarchy and having an affair with the preacher Whitfield outside her wedlock, Addie directly challenges patriarchal power. From a quite different vantage point, however, we can read Addie as the faithful protector of the norm of whiteness in the South in light of the social hierarchy. As a former school teacher, Addie is from middle class before her marriage. By her marriage to Anse, who is a lower-class white, Addie has class anxiety that her social status in the stratum of whiteness could be degraded from a middle to a lower-class white, "white trash," which means that she is not white enough to be considered as the normative whiteness. Especially, Addie's anxiety increases due to the fact that her lazy husband is reluctant to work and relies on her neighbors, causing her family to be entrapped at the bottom in the stratum of whiteness. Therefore, she decides to take revenge on her husband after giving birth to her second child Darl by asking Anse to bury her dead body in her familial burial site in Jefferson. By rendering her family to suffer the hardship during her funeral procession, not only does she succeed in taking revenge on Anse on the surface, she regains her social status as a middle-class white by being buried in Jefferson fundamentally.

방과 후 체육활동 참여가 중학생의 신체조성 및 건강관련체력에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of After-school Physical Activity on Body Composition and Health Related Fitness of Middle School Students)

  • This study has examined the effect of after-school physical activity on body composition and health related fitness of middle school students. The duration of after-school physical activity training program of this study is 12 weeks, the training time in 1 hours warming-up 10 minutes, the skill training 45 minutes and cool down did in 5 minutes. Exercise frequency is 5 time per week. Height basketball class, soccer class, subject class showed statistically meaningful increase between group variance showed statistically meaningful. Weight basketball class, soccer class, showed statistically meaningful decrease. Muscle mass basketball class showed statistically meaningful increase, soccer class showed statistically meaningful decrease. Cardiopulmonary basketball class, soccer class, showed statistically meaningful decrease. Explosive muscular strength basketball class, soccer class, showed statistically meaningful decrease. subject class showed statistically meaningful increase, between group variance showed statistically meaningful. Flexibility basketball class showed statistically meaningful increase, soccer class. Muscular strength basketball class, soccer class, subject class showed not statistically meaningful different.
