X-Y table drive characteristic improvement by micro-step driver (마이크로스텝 드라이브를 이용한 X-Y 테이블 구동 특성향상)

  • In this paper, micro step driving method is used for a high performance motion control and minimizing of vibration in a industrial X-Y table. By using a mathmetical analysis method of 2 phase Hybrid-type step motor, each phase current can be optimized about unit speed and torque. We can improve the electrical and mechnical driving charicteristic of machine by applying this proposed driver to the real plant using microprocessor.

  • This paper describes method of microstepping current control for linear pulse moor. The control method witch electrically subdivides 1 step of a LPM 125 micro step is realized using micro-step algorithm. The resolution of the system for microstepping is improved also by microstep control of driving current, which is followed by the increase of microstep subdivision coefficient, the precise position and velocity control of LPM can be realized and stabilization of the system is improved.

  • This paper describes a Chuck System developed for scaling PDP gas hole on PDP panel glass. There are lots of constraints for designing Chuck System: high temperature, high vacuum, precious motor control etc. A such constraints was considered by design of structure and by selecting of parts and material for Chuck System. The Chuck System was manufactured and assembled after the design process. It was applied on the PDP process unit. For sealing POP hole, precious control of a step motor was important in this system. For this experiment, a step motor, motor driver and micro controller(80196KC) were used.

  • In this paper, we develope the micro-stepping driver circuit for 5-phase step motor having pentagon type winding and improve the position control performance of the rotor, $0.45^{\circ}$, $0.028125^{\circ}$, $0.0140625^{\circ}$ per step.

  • 본 논문에서는 자동차 계기판 지시계 구동용 액츄에이터 연구의 일환으로써 소형 2상 스텝모터에 대하여 유한요소 수치해석을 이용한 설계, 해석 및 One Chip을 이용한 유량, 온도, RPM 및 속도 지시계 동시제어용 전용 구동 IC를 설계하였다. 일반적으로 자동차 계기판에 사용되어지고 있는 지시계의 구동원으로 코일형의 액츄에이터를 사용하고 있으나, 동작구간내의 선형성 및 속응성 저하와 구조상 큰 체적으로 인한 공간확대의 문제가 야기되어지고 있다. 따라서, 본 연구에서는 고 에너지 밀도를 갖는 소형의 영구자석과 저 손실 특성을 갖는 정밀 기어부 설계를 통하여 경량. 박형의 PM형 스텝모터를 설계하였으며. 또한 다수 모델 제어용 전용 드라이버 IC 설계 및 제작을 하였다. 실제로 제작한 모델을 대상으로 특성평가를 행하였으며, 이로부터 높은 선형성 및 고정밀도와 저소음 특성을 갖는 자동차 계기판 지시계용 구동원 및 드라이버의 활용 가능성을 확인 할 수 있었다.

  • The background of this study lies in he investigation of the formation mechanism of ductile mode(nkanometer-size) chips of brittle materials such as fine ceramics glass and silicon. As the first step to achieve this purpose this paper intends to observe the micro-deformation behavior of these materials in sub${\mu}{\textrm}{m}$ depth indentation tests using a diamond indentor. In this study it was developed Ultra-Micro Indentation. Device using the PZT actuator. Experimentally by using the Ultra-Micro Indentation device the micro fracture behavior of the silicon wafer was investigated. It was possible that ductile-brittle transition point in ultimate surface of brittle material can be detected by adding an acoustic emission sensor system to the Ultra-Micro Indentation appartus.

  • Micro parts are usually used of producing by micro-electro-mechanical systems(MEMS). In this paper, we present some fundamental results concerning on the MEMS, extrusion condition on the micro forming characteristics and new micro forward extrusion machine has been developed. In the first step, we manufactured micro dies in two kinds of sections. One is a circle section, another is a cross section. The process for fabricating micro dies combines a deep UV-lithography, anisotropic etching techniques and metal electroplating with bulk silicon based on Ni with a thickness of $50{\mu}m$. The outer diameter of Ni-micro dies is 3mm and the diameter of extrusion section is $270{\mu}m$ for a cross section, $500{\mu}m$ for a circle section. The low linear density polyethylene(LLEPD) in the shape of a pellet has been used of micro extrusion. The billet was placed in a container manufactured by electric discharge machining and extruded through the micro die by a piezoelectric actuator. The micro extrusion has succeeded in a forming such micro parts as micro bars, micro cross shafts.

  • A stable rotational-to-linear motion transformation structure using a driving mechanism with 2 degrees of freedom was developed for an orthogonal mechanism to prevent the interference of each axis in 2D motion. In this mechanism, a step motor was used for precise position control. This structure was developed to maneuver workparts in micro particle blast machining experiments. To determine the real-time performance of micro particle blast machining, the control, input, and output were operated simultaneously and precise position control was implemented, using a timer interrupt with multiple execution codes. The two step motors obtained precise position control by removing backlash with a ball-screw mechanism. The device has menu-type control codes for user-friendliness, and real-time sequence control was simultaneously adopted for user control input.
