Development of Korean Adult ADHD Rating Scale (한국형 성인 ADHD 평가척도 개발 연구)

  • Objectives : Symptoms of attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) during childhood may persist into adulthood. This study included the development and validation process of the Korean Adult ADHD Rating Scale (K-AARS), which was developed for screening and monitoring treatment of adults with ADHD. Methods : Preliminary questionnaires of the K-AARS were based on the reviews of previous adult ADHD scales and clinical experiences of the board certified child and adolescent psychiatrists in Korea. For this study, 136 adults (18-50 years old) with inattention, hyperactivity and/or impulsivity symptoms were enrolled as ADHD subjects, and compared with 406 control subjects (18-50 years old) without ADHD symptoms. Construct validity was examined using explorative factor analysis and Cronbach's alpha to obtain internal reliability coefficients. Concurrent validity was evaluated by comparison with the Conners' Adult ADHD Rating Scale (CAARS). Results : An explorative factor analysis showed that the K-AARS had 8 factors (inattention, hyperactivity, impulsivity, antisocial personality disorder/conduct disorder/oppositional defiant disorder, impairment, driving, emotional dysregulation, disorganization). K-AARS was highly reliable in terms of internal consistency (Cronbach's alpha 0.77-0.95) and correlation between factors (0.57-0.86). Concurrent validity with the CAARS and discriminant validity were statistically significant. Conclusion : The K-AARS is a valid and reliable measure for assessment of Korean adults with ADHD.

An Analysis on Beginning Secondary Science Teachers' Problems in their Teaching Practice through Collaborative Mentoring (협력적 멘토링 과정에서 나타나는 초임중등과학교사의 교수실행 문제점)

  • The purpose of this study is to examine the problems in the teaching practice of beginning science teachers who participated in the collaborative mentoring program to improve their teaching expertise. The participants were six beginning science teachers and six mentors at middle and high school levels. From each beginning science teacher and mentor teacher, journals, one-to-one mentoring records and transcripts, interviews and questionnaires, and transcripts conducted at the beginning, middle and the end of the mentoring program were collected. Seven aspects of the beginning science teachers' problems in their teaching practice were identified. The result showed that mentee teachers didn't set up specific learning objectives and they organized and presented lesson contents without considering students' proficiency level. Also, they found it hard to prepare for the lessons irrelevant to their major field of study and they tended to use convergent questions more than divergent questions. Mentee teachers tend to give teacher-centered rather than student-centered teaching. Beginning teachers' recognition of their problems in their teaching practice tends to lead changes in their teaching practice. Some of the problems that mentee teachers showed could be overcome if they recognized the problem through the collaborative mentoring program, but if not, it tends to remain throughout mentoring program.This study also highlighted the importance of reflection on beginning science teachers' practice.

A Case Study on the Use of Mentoring as a Method of Improving Novice Teachers' Teaching Professionalism in Secondary Science-Gifted Education (중등 과학영재교육에서 초임 교사의 수업 전문성 제고 전략으로써의 멘토링 적용 사례연구)

  • As a case study on the use of mentoring as a method of improving novice teachers' teaching professionalism in secondary science-gifted education, this study investigated the characteristics of mentoring science instructions for science-gifted students at the plan, performance, evaluation, and post-mentoring stages of the classes. One mentor and two mentees were selected, and mentoring in each mentee's instructions was conducted during nine classes over three times. We observed the total classes, and analyzed taped videos, the materials, the transcripts for mentoring and in-depth interviews, and field notes. The analyses of the results indicated that the characteristics of mentoring instructions, at the planning stage of the classes, exhibited the construction of more systematic classes, the escape from the schema that science instructions for science-gifted students were instructions using somewhat difficult experiments and the uses of diverse teaching strategies, the influence of the psychological burdens on developing science-gifted education programs, and the increase of the time preparing the classes. At the performance stage of the classes, the characteristics included the improvement in the quality of the classes, the influence of the psychological burdens on teaching the classes, and the inducements of some confusion on performing them. At the evaluation stage of the classes, the characteristics included the provision of the opportunities in deeply reflecting my own classes, and the provision of the practical power for improving the classes. Finally, the characteristics at the postmentoring stage could be attributed to the increase of mentees' self-confidence about their instructions and some development of mentors' teaching professionalism/mentoring skills.

Effective Mentoring Platform Alternative to lead a Successful Startup: In the Center of Hanbat Innopolis Campus Program (성공창업 실현 지원을 위한 효과적인 멘토링 플랫폼 구축방안: 한밭대 이노폴리스캠퍼스 육성사업을 중심으로)

  • Mentoring program for startup is recognized as one of the most preferred alternative of helping would-be entrepreneur. In recent, this concessions leads the skyrocketed increase of mentoring program. However, lots of doubt falls on the effects of mentoring for startup. This paper is presenting Hanbat Innopolis program, which is evaluated the best practice case of mentoring ending up with seed investment for the last 5 years, including overview, structure, organization, and process. This program suggest the core elements of platform as fully involved mentor group joining with coach, functional experts in contingency, and operation group. It also require more problem solving based system approach as to operation, more qualified coach and problem solving process in mentoring system as to structure, delivering missions of defining problem of startup, setting milestones for its solution, and benchmarks in each phase as to process. This paper deliver the best practice case getting through the full process of Hanbat Innopolis Campus program, recognized ad the prototype of best mentoring program and on step forward, suggest the future direction of the effective mentoring program.

Experimental Study of Osseointegration and Stability of Intentionally Exposed Hydroxyapatite Coating Implants (의도적으로 연조직에 노출시킨 수산화인회석 코팅 임플란트의 골유착과 안정성에 대한 실험적 연구)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study is to evaluate the effect of exposure of hydroxyapatite coating on the amount of bone formation and stability in the dogs. Methods: In this study, hydroxyapatite coated implants (HAPTITE) was placed over the femur bone surface of four dogs about 1 mm. The experimental group was divided into 4 weeks group of 8 implants and 8 weeks group of 8 implants, and then they were sacrificed. The stability of implants was evaluated twice with Osstell$^{TM}$ mentor (Osstell AB, Goteborg, Sweden) at right after placement and sacrifice. The amount of bone formation was evaluated through histomorphometric examination. Results: The stability of implants was in normal range, and tended to increase as time goes by. Mean percentages of new bone formation rates were $90.5{\pm}6.6$ at uppermost 1 mm bone level adjacent to soft tissues (level 1) and $92.9{\pm}4.1$ at next 1 mm bone level (level 2) in 4 weeks group, $90.1{\pm}11.5$ at level 1 and $95.9{\pm}2.3$ at level 2 in 8 weeks group. Mean percentages of bone-implant contact rates were $85.1{\pm}10.8$ at level 1 and $88.1{\pm}13.8$ at level 2 in 4 weeks group, $88.5{\pm}14.4$ at level 1 and $95.3{\pm}3.1$ at level 2 in 8 weeks group. There was no statistically significant difference of new bone formation rate and bone-implant contact rate between uppermost 1 mm bone level adjacent to soft tissues and next 1 mm bone level. However, there was no significant difference in bone formation between 4 and 8 weeks groups. Conclusion: These results suggested that exposed hydroxyapatite coated implants to soft tissue showed favorable bone formation and implant stability.

Nursing Students' Experiences on Team-Based Learning (팀 기반 학습을 수강한 간호대학생의 경험)

  • This phenomenological study aims to explore Nursing Students' Experiences who have experienced team-based learning (TBL). The purpose of this study is to contribute to fostering professional nurses required in the clinical field by improving the learning outcomes by applying the TBL classes. The study participants were seven students of the nursing department who took TBL classes in adult nursing classes. The data were collected through participating observations and in-depth interviews, and analyzed using Colaizzi's phenomenological methods. As a result of the study, nine conceptual descriptions and five theme clusters were derived. The major theme clusters for the experiences of students were 'Dedication to best results', 'Self-led learning attitudes are formed', 'Becoming a communal knowledge creator', 'Active class time', and 'Meaningless peer evaluation'. Nine conceptual descriptions were 'Doing one's best to fulfill one's role', 'Preparing for the class with the pre-learning', 'Forming confidence through pre-learning', 'Solving problems through interaction with friends', 'Becoming a mentor to each other', 'Working together to resolve issues', 'Intimacy formed', 'A lively class', and 'Peer evaluation with familiarity'. This study contributes to the improvement of the learning outcomes of the nursing students by enabling learner-centered classes and self-led learning, thereby contributing to fostering the professional nursing manpower required in the clinical field.

A Comparative Study on Gifted Programs Abroad for Economically Disadvantaged or Minority Students: The Cases of US, UK, Germany, Australia, and Israel (외국의 소외계층 학생을 위한 영재교육 프로그램 비교: 미국, 영국, 독일, 호주, 이스라엘 사례 중심으로)

  • This study compared 14 programs for the economically disadvantaged or minority students with potentials in 5 countries - US, UK, Germany, Australia, and Israel, attempting contents and characters of Korean Head Start to be developed, that is the program for economically disadvantaged gifted students or students from multi-cultural families, who are gifted at risk of under-representation and under-achievement. School wide enrichment programs, which served all students with gifted programs, using RTI model in the pursuit of equity and excellence, turned out to be effective as early interventions and identification implemented for economically disadvantaged or minority students with potentials. Gifted programs for low Social Economic Status (SES) or minority students played a role as a bridge for disadvantaged students to get into a regular gifted program or even higher gifted schools and to have a competency to compete with affluent gifted students. The principles of the programs were acceleration and differentiation. Most programs also ran a parents' education and a mentor program to motivate and support disadvantaged students socially and emotionally. Collaboration among governmental offices and usage of external resources were more effective to support these students and the programs.

Comparison of Academic Stress, Stress Coping and Academic Burnout between Elementary Gifted Students and General Students and Analysis of the Relationships (초등영재와 일반학생의 학업스트레스, 스트레스 대처방식, 학업소진 비교 및 관계 분석)

  • The purpose of this study was to compare elementary gifted student's academic stress, stress coping and academic burnout with those of general students and investigate the relationships between academic stress, stress coping and academic burnout. There is a significant meaning in promoting healthy growth and development by reducing academic stress and academic burnouts, as well as providing fundamental data to understand and mentor elementary gifted student and general students emotionally. The results obtained in this study were as follows. First, the results showed that the gifted students' academic stress, school stress, and after school academic stress were significantly lower than general students'. Second, the results showed that the elementary gifted students used more of active and socially supported ways to cope with stress while the general students use more of passive/evasive and aggressive ways to cope with stress. Third, the results showed that the score of gifted students' academic burnouts was significantly lower than that of regular students', and among general students, the students who spent more time than average time in the private education per week had significantly higher academic burnouts compared to the students who didn't. Fourth, the results showed that the elementary gifted students with high academic stress used more passive/evasive and aggressive ways to cope with stress. As a result of correlation analysis, it appeared a positive correlation between academic stress and academic burnout. Hierarchical multiple regression showed that academic stress and stress coping affected on academic burnout significantly.

텀블링 시간에 따른 돈육 육포의 품질 특성에 관한 연구

  • 본 실험은 돈육 후지 부위를 이용하여 육포 제조시 텀블링 시간에 따른 육포의, 이화학적 및 관능적 특성을 조사하여 표준화된 육포제조의 기초 자료를 제공하고자 실시하였다. 텀블링 시간에 따른 건조전 육포 양념육의 제품수율은 30분까지는 수율이 유의적으로 증가하는 경향을 보였으나, 60분 동안 텀블링을 실시하였을 때는 30분보다 낮은 값을 나타내었다. 텀블링 시간에 따라 pH는 차이가 없었으나, 보수력은 텀블링 30분까지 유의적으로 증가하였고 이후 부터는 차이가 없었다. 육색은 텀블링 시간이 경과함에 따라 $L^{\ast}-$값과 $b^{\ast}-$값은 감소하는 경향을 보였으나 반대로 $a^{\ast}-$값은 텀블링 시간이 증가함에 따라 점점 증가하는 경향을 보였다. 건조후 제조된 돈육육포의 수분함량은 $29{\sim}30%$ 정도를 유지하였으며, 건조수율은 모두 $48{\sim}49%$ 정도의 높은 수율을 보였다. 육포의 $L^{\ast}-$값은 30분 및 60분 동안 텀블링을 실시하였을 때 10분 동안 텀블링을 실시한 육포보다 낮게 나타났다. 60분 동안 텀블링한 육포의 $a^{\ast}-$값은 10분간 텀블링한 것보다 높았으며, $b^{\ast}-$값은 $a^{\ast}-$값과는 반대의 경향을 나타내었다. 탄력성(springiness)은 60분 동안 텀블링한 육포가 10분 동안 텀블링한 육포보다 높은 값을 보였으나, 탄력성을 제외한 모든 항목에서 유의차가 나타나지 않았다. 관능검사는 모든 항목에서 30분 이상 텀블링한 육포가 좋은 평가를 받았으나, 처리구간에 유의차는 나타나지 않았다.pm을 spiking한 후 SPE상에서 SCX(Strong cation exchange column)을 통한 clean-up과정을 거친 후의 STP의 limit of quantification(LOQ)는 약 0.44ppm이었으며, 이에 대한 회수율은 89.7${\pm}$2.3%(n=6)를 나타냈다. 실제 CODEX에서 권장한 우유의 MRL이 0.6ppm인 점을 감안하면 CODEX권고치에 도달할 수 있는 것으로 판단되었다. 따라서 본 연구에서 개발 된 시험법은 지금까지 국내적으로 STP에 대한 시험법이 확립되어 있지 않은 것으로 이와 아울러 간편한 parallux와 병용해 STP에 대한 정량 및 정성 분석을 유도체화 장치 및 형광검출기를 이용해 잔류항생물질 STP에 대한 분석시험법을 개발하였다.화와 네트워크 조직망 구축을 위한 지역중심의 복합 생활문화 공간이 필요할 것이며, 이를 촉진키 위한 mentor academy시스템 접근을 통해 점점 고령화되어 가고 있는 재래시장에 대해 차별적 특성이 반영된 종합적이고 체계적 접근 방법연구가 필요하다./TEX> 자체기술개발, 선진기술 도입, 산업간 및 산업내 기술확산, 국제기술협력 ${\rightarrow}$ 기술혁신의 촉진 ${\rightarrow}$ 총요소생산성과 기업경쟁력(자원 및 역량, 프로세스 경쟁력, 품질경쟁력, 시장경쟁력, 고객성과, 시장성과, 재무성과)의 제고 ${\rightarrow}$ 가격경쟁력(임금, 금리, 물류비용, 환율 등)과 비(非)가격경쟁력(디자인, 에프터서비스, 품질, 운송 등)의 제고 ${\rightarrow}$ 국가경쟁력의 제고 ${\rightarrow}$ 국제수지 흑자 ${\ri

자두(Dried Plums)를 첨가한 White sausage의 물성 및 저장성에 관한 연구

  • 본 연구는 파슬리 등의 야채를 첨가하여 제조되는 화이트소시지의 물성 및 저장성에 미치는 자두 분말의 효과를 조사하기 위해 실시되었다. 물성의 변화로서 pH는 자두의 첨가율이 증가함에 따라 상대적으로 감소 하였는데 3% 첨 가시 전 저장 기간 중 가장 낮게 ($pH\;5.11\;{\sim}\;4.44$) 나타났다. 육색(meat color)은 자두의 첨가량에 비례하여 적색도(redness)를 나타내는 a-value에서 높게 나타났으며 명도 (light ness)를 나타내는 L-value에서는 상대적으로 낮은 수치를 보여주었다. 전단력(Shear stre ngth) 측정에서는 저장 기간 중 자두 분말의 첨가량에 비례 하여 근소한 차이를 나타냈는데 저장 7일째에서 가장 높았다. 자두 분말 첨가구 에서의 다소 높은 전단력의 결과는 보수력 (WHC) 측정 에서도 같은 경향을 나타내었는데 자두 분말의 증가량에 따라 3% 첨가구가 대조구 (0%)보다 낮게 나타나 약한 보수성을 보여 주었다. 저장성에 미치는 결과로서 총세균수의 측정결과 저장 3일이 경과한 구간에서 Sorbic acid (0.07%)의 첨가구와 자두 분말(3%) 첨가구 에서 비슷한 항균 효과를 나타내었다. 이 같은 동일한 수준의 항균 효과는 저장 9일째에도 같은 경향으로 나타났다.
