부부갈등이 아동의 공격성에 미치는 영향: 부부공동양육의 매개효과 (Influence of Marital Conflict on Children's Aggression: The Mediation Effect of Co-Parenting)

  • This study examines the relation of marital conflict, co-parenting, and children's aggression and the mediating role of co-parenting between marital conflict and children's aggression. Participants consisted of 380 elementary school fifth, sixth graders (152 male and 228 female students) and their mothers from Seoul, Gyeonggi-do, and Gyeongsangnam-do. Children completed questionnaires on marital conflict and the mothers completed questionnaires on co-parenting and children's aggression. The collected data were analyzed using basic descriptive statistics, Pearson correlation coefficients, and a multiple regression analysis. The Baron and Kenny's method was used to determine the mediating model's significance. It was adapted to SPSS ver. 20.0 for Windows. The major findings were as follows: first, the marital conflict (intensity/resolution) positively influenced children's aggression. Second, supportive co-parenting negatively influenced children's aggression. In addition, the marital conflict (frequency/resolution) negatively influenced co-parenting. Co-parenting (supportive/reprehensive) also played a perfectly mediating role between marital conflict and children's aggression. Marital conflict had an indirect influence through co-parenting on the children's aggression. The results indicate that co-parenting plays a crucial role in the relationship between marital conflict and children's aggression.

가족구조에 따른 아동의 자아탄력성 및 가족건강성이 학교생활만족도에 미치는 영향 (Influences of Children's Perception of Ego-resilience and Family Strength on School Life Satisfaction According to Their Family Structure)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationships of ego-resilience, family strength, and school life satisfaction according to their family structure. 303 cases of them were selected from 912 elementary students' data in Busan and analyzed using the independent-samples t-test, Pearson's coefficient of correlation, and multiple regression. The results of the study were as follows: First, it was shown that children of parents family had positive perception on the ego-resilience, family strength, and satisfaction with school life than children of nontraditional family. Second, in children with parents family, family strength is a more powerful predictor of satisfaction with school life than ego-resilience. Finally, in children with nontraditional family, ego-resilience is a more powerful predictor of satisfaction with school life than family strength. The results implicated that ego-resilience and family strength of children influence on their school life satisfaction differently according to their family structure and therefore it needed for family structure-based mediation program to improve children' school life.

간호사가 인식한 간호관리자의 진정성 리더십이 조직몰입 및 직무만족에 미치는 영향: 임파워먼트의 매개효과를 중심으로 (Influence of Nurse Managers' Authentic Leadership on Nurses' Organizational Commitment and Job Satisfaction: Focused on the Mediating Effects of Empowerment)

  • Purpose: The aim of this study was to examine the mediating effect of empowerment in the relationship of nurse managers' authentic leadership, with nurses' organizational commitment and job satisfaction. Methods: The participants in this study were 273 registered nurses working in five University hospitals located in Seoul and Gyeonggi Province. The measurements included the Authentic Leadership Questionnaire, Condition of Work Effectiveness Questionnaire-II, Organizational Commitment Questionnaire and Korea-Minnesota Satisfaction Questionnaire. Data were analyzed using t-test, ANOVA, $Scheff{\acute{e}}$ test, Pearson correlation coefficients, simple and multiple regression techniques with the SPSS 18.0 program. Mediation analysis was performed according to the Baron and Kenny method and Sobel test. Results: There were significant correlations among authentic leadership, empowerment, organizational commitment and job satisfaction. Empowerment showed perfect mediating effects in the relationship between authentic leadership and organizational commitment. It had partial mediating effects in the relationship between authentic leadership and job satisfaction. Conclusion: In this study, nurse managers' authentic leadership had significant influences on nurses organizational commitment and job satisfaction via empowerment. Therefore, to enhance nurses' organizational commitment and job satisfaction, it is necessary to build effective strategies to enhance nurse manager's authentic leadership and to develop empowering education programs for nurses.

병원근로자의 변화지향 조직시민행동 결정요인 : 직무만족, 조직몰입의 매개효과 검증 (Determinants of Change-Oriented Organizational Citizenship Behavior of Hospital Employees : Estimating the Mediating Effects of Job Satisfaction and Organizational Commitment)

  • Purposes: This study aims to investigate the determinants of change-oriented organizational citizenship behavior(CO-OCB) of hospital employees and test the mediating effect of the job satisfaction and organizational commitment on the CO-OCB. Methods: Data were collected from the self-administered questionnaire survey for hospital employees of ten hospitals located in five regions, including Seoul. Out of 1,100 questionnaires which were distributed through the administrative routes, a total of 617 copies were returned(response rate 56.1%) and analyzed by frequency analysis, t-tests, correlation analysis, multiple regression, and path analysis using SPSS 21.0 and AMOS 21.0. Findings: The study results revealed that the explanatory power(56.4%) of the model was most significantly increased by the variables of psychological attributes(R2-change 33,5%). Also, the variables of self-efficacy, followed by hope, the organizational climate for innovation, the psychological safety climate, team-member exchange, and leader-member exchange were found to have positive total effects on CO-OCB, through the mediating variables of job satisfaction and organizational commitment. Practical Implications: The study results imply that, in order to improve the CO-OCB of hospital employees, the administrators have to take the integrated approach considering the various domains of factors including the psychological attributes, job characteristics, interpersonal relations, and organizational climate simultaneously.

Do Environmental Performance and Environmental Management Have a Direct Effect on Firm Value?

  • This paper investigates the effect of environmental performance and environmental management on firm value using financial performance as mediation variable. There are still inconsistencies in research on environmental performance and environmental management and their impact on company value. This research used a quantitative approach involving secondary data. The variables used are environmental performance, environmental management, company financial performance, and company value. Multiple regression was used because it allowed the researchers to examine the relationship of each variable contained in the research framework by describing all of the direct effects (non-mediated effects) and the indirect effects of the research variables. The research sample consisted of 144 manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange from 2012 to 2017. Statistically, this study found that there was no direct effect that had a significant impact on environmental performance and firm value, and found that there is a significant direct effect of environmental management variables on firm value. Improved environmental management by the company is proven to increase the value of the company directly. This paper found that, not only does an increase in stakeholder trust happen when a company increases its environmental awareness, but there is also an increase in the financial aspects of the company.

간호대학생의 대인불안과 의사소통능력의 관계에서 자기효능감의 매개효과 (The mediating effect of self-efficacy on the relationship between social anxiety and communication ability in nursing students)

  • Purpose: This study aims to identify the relationship between nursing students' social anxiety and communication ability, and in particular, to determine the mediating effect of self-efficacy. Methods: A total of 187 nursing students enrolled at four universities in Korea completed surveys between August and September 2020. The measurements included the Global Interpersonal Communication Competence Scale, self-efficacy scales, and interaction anxiousness scales. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, an independent t-test, one-way ANOVA, Pearson's correlation, multiple regression following the Baron and Kenny method, and bootstrapping for mediation. Results: Communication ability was significantly negatively correlated with social anxiety (r=-.61, p<.001) and significantly positively correlated with self-efficacy (r=.77, p<.001). Furthermore, self-efficacy had a partial mediating effect on the relationship between social anxiety and communication ability. Conclusion: The findings of this study suggest that communication ability can be improved if individual characteristics such as social anxiety and self-efficacy are considered. Therefore, when developing communication ability improvement programs for nursing students in the future, it is considered important to actively consider these personal characteristics.

중환자실과 응급실 간호사의 소진과 공감역량이 직무만족도에 미치는 영향 (Burnout and compassion competency to explain job satisfaction among nurses working in intensive care units or emergency rooms)

  • Purpose : This study aimed to examine the relationships of burnout and compassion competency with job satisfaction among nurses working in the intensive care units and emergency rooms. Methods : A correlational survey was conducted from August 1 to August 14, 2018 and involved in 102 nurses working at four university hospitals for more than 1 year. A structured questionnaire was used to measure burnout, compassion competency, and job satisfaction, and data were analyzed using hierarchical multiple regression and mediation effect analysis. Results : The mean scores of burnout, compassion competency, and job satisfaction were 2.58, 4.35, and 2.95, respectively. Burnout and compassion competency along with working night shifts and a wish to transfer explained 35.3% of variance in job satisfaction. Compassion competency showed a small but significant mediating effect in the relationship between burnout and job satisfaction (indirect effect -.0446, 95% CI -.1133, -.0075). Conclusion : Burnout and compassion competency were the significant influencing factors of job satisfaction among nurses working in intensive care units and emergency rooms. Since compassion competency showed a significant mediating effect, further studies should focus on intervention strategies for compassion competency to improve job satisfaction in this population.

자가격리자의 코로나19 스트레스와 피로의 관계에서 건강염려와 우울의 매개효과 (The Mediating Effects of Health Concern and Depression in the Relation between Self-quarantined People's COVID-19 Stress and Fatigue)

  • Purpose: This study was to investigate the mediating effects of health concern and depression on the stress and fatigue of COVID-19 self-quarantine. Methods: This was a cross-sectional study. A total of 227 people with COVID-19 self-quarantine experience were recruited during May 2021. Participants were invited to complete self-reported questionnaires that measure stress, health concern, depression, fatigue and demographic information. The data obtained were analyzed using multiple regression and dual mediation model applying the PROCESS macro with 95% bias-corrected bootstrap confidence interval. Results: This study analyzed the direct effects of COVID-19 stress on the health concern, depression and fatigue. And COVID-19 stress had indirect effects on their fatigue via health concern and depression. Both health concern and depression had dual mediating effects in the influence of COVID-19 stress on fatigue. In the relationship between COVID-19 stress and fatigue, the mediating effect of depression was significant. Conclusion: Fatigue due to prolonged COVID-19 can be alleviated by managing stress and mediating health concern and depression, and so therefore active nursing intervention is required.

여성 노인의 디지털 정보활용능력이 우울에 미치는 영향: 사회적 지지의 매개 효과를 중심으로 (The effect of digital literacy on depressive symptoms among older Korean women: a mediation analysis focusing on the role of social support)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between digital literacy and depressive symptoms, as well as the mediating role of social support in this relationship, among older women (60 years and older) in Korea. Methods: This study analyzed data from the User Experience Evaluation Survey, which was conducted by the Ewha Institute for Age Integration Research to improve the accessibility of digital information for older adults research from May to September 2020. Survey data on depressive symptoms, digital literacy, and social support were analyzed using descriptive statistics, Pearson correlation coefficients, and multiple regression. Results: The factors influencing depressive symptoms among older women included work status (B=-.19, p=.01), social support (B=-.17, p<.001), self-rated health (B=-.13, p=.003), and digital literacy (B=-.10, p=.005), which had an explanatory power of 33%. In addition, social support played a mediating role in the relationship between digital literacy and depressive symptoms (B=-.05, SE=.02; 95% CI, -.09 to -.02). Conclusion: The findings of this study support the need to develop and apply interventions that promote digital literacy among older women to mitigate depressive symptoms by increasing social support.

병원 간호사의 간호업무수행과 이직의도 관계에서 직무착근도의 조절효과와 매개효과 (Mediation and Moderation Effects of Job Embeddedness between Nursing Performance and Turnover Intention of Nurses)

  • 본 연구는 임상 간호사의 간호업무수행과 이직의도 간의 관계에서 직무착근도의 조절효과와 매개효과를 파악하기 위해 수행되었다. 대상자는 D시에 근무하는 200병상 이하의 3개의 병원 196명과 600병상 이상 2개의 종합병원 216명, 그리고 800병상 이상 3개의 상급종합병원에 근무하는 간호사 241명으로 총 653명이었다. 자료분석은 PASW 18.0과 AMOS 18.0을 이용하여 Pearson's correlation coefficient, 위계적 회귀(hierarchial regression analysis), SEM을 시행하였다. 연구결과, 직무착근도는 간호업무수행과 이직의도의 관계에서 매개효과가 있었으나 간호업무수행과 이직의도 사이에서 조절효과는 나타나지 않았다. 따라서 임상 간호사의 이직률을 낮추고 간호업무수행을 높이기 위해서는 직무착근도를 향상시키는 방안이 강구되어야 할 것으로 사료된다.
