The Mediating Effects of Customer Satisfaction on the Relationship between Marketing Mix Activities and Brand Loyalty in Chicken Restaurant (마케팅믹스활동과 브랜드 충성도와의 관계에서 고객만족의 매개효과 연구: 치킨전문점을 중심으로)

  • This study aimed to research the mediating effects of customer satisfaction on the relationship between marketing mix activities and brand loyalty in chicken restaurant. This study intended (1) to analyze the factors of marketing mix activities in chicken restaurant, (2) to research the effect of marketing mix activities on brand loyalty, (3) to research the mediating effects of customer satisfaction on the relationship between marketing mix activities and brand loyalty. Data were collected from undergraduates who visited the nationwide chicken restaurants by face-to-face interview. The questionnaire was distributed of the 400 copies and used 331 in the analysis. The results of this study revealed that (1) the factors of the marketing mix activities were price, promotion, place and product, (2) product only had significant influence on brand loyalty, (3) the effect of product on brand loyalty was significant influence by mediating effect of customer satisfaction.

Roles of Trust in Technology Acceptance of Augmented Reality (증강현실(AR) 기술 수용에 있어서 신뢰성의 역할)

  • Various studies have been conducted on factors influencing the adoption of new technologies. In particular, the factors influencing customers' acceptance of new technologies that emerged along with the arrival of the 4th Industrial Revolution. Theoretical models are mainly based on the technology acceptance model (TAM) or Extended Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology : UTAUT2). However, there are no trust variables in these models. In this study, we added trust variable and tested augmented reality(AR). Three types - trust as an independent variable, as a mediating variable, and as a moderating variable - were analyzed statistically. As a result, trust was most explanatory when viewed as a mediating variable between independent variables and intention to use. In theory, it has been shown that trust acts as a mediating effect. In practice, trust is most important in accepting new technologies, so it is important to prioritize trust.

The Influence of Mother's Child-rearing Attitudes on Children's School Adjustment : The Mediating Effects of Child's Career Maturity (아동이 지각하는 어머니의 양육태도가 학교생활적응에 미치는 영향 : 진로성숙도의 매개효과)

  • This study aimed to identify the mediating effects of the child's career maturity on the relationship between mother's child-rearing attitudes and children's school adjustment. In order to achieve our goals, the present study 1) analysed the differences in the mother's child-rearing attitude perceived by child, child's career maturity, and school adjustment according to child's sex, and 2) examined the direct and indirect effects of mother's child-rearing attitude and child's career maturity on school adjustment. A total of 430 $6^{th}$ grade elementary school students living in Gwangju participated in this study. The summary of this study is as follows. First, there were some differences in achievement child-rearing attitude according to child's sex. Boys perceived their mother's child-rearing attitude as more achievement-oriented than girls. Second, child's career maturity mediated the relations between mother's child-rearing attitude perceived by child and their school adjustment. Specifically, the partial mediating effects of career maturity were found in all of the relations between sub-factors of child-rearing attitude(affection, autonomy, achievement, and rationality), and child's career maturity fully mediated the relation between autonomy and peer relationship. The results of this study mean that mother's child-rearing attitudes have both direct and indirect impacts on child's school adjustment and child's career maturity are all very important factors on their school adjustment. The present study suggests that it is necessary to provide diverse career programs to improve child's career maturity.

Mediating Effect of Anxiety and Moderating Effect of Religion on the Relationship between Severity of Depressive Symptom and Quality of Life and Disability (우울증상 심각도와 삶의 질, 기능손상간의 관계에 대한 불안의 매개효과 및 종교의 조절효과)

  • Objective : This study aimed to examine impact of anxiety and demographic factors on relationship between severity of depressive symptom and quality of life and disability. Methods : One hundred ninety five patients who met DSM-IV-TR criteria for depressive disorder were enrolled. It includes "Hamilton Rating Scale for Depression (HRSD)", "State-Trait Anxiety Inventory-State (STAI-S)", "General Health Questionnaire/Quality of Life-12 (GHQ/QL-12)", and "Sheehan Disability Scale (SDS)". Correlation analysis was used to see the correlations of each variable. Hierarchical regression analysis was used to see mediating effect of anxiety in the relationship. Sobel test was used to verify mediating effect. Multiple regression analysis was used to see moderating effect of demographic factors in the relationship. Results : There was partial mediating effect of anxiety on the relationship between severity of depressive symptoms and decreased quality of life (z=-11.68, p<.001)/increased disability (z=10.42, p<.001). Only religion was found to be moderating effect on the relationship between depressive symptoms and decreased quality of life. Conclusion : Rapid relief of anxiety along with depressive symptom had important implications for the treatment of patients with depression.

The Effect of Social Anonymity on Community Quality : Mediated by Self Expression, Self Control, and Community Ties (사회적 익명성이 커뮤니티 품질에 미치는 영향 : 표현욕구, 자기통제, 유대감의 매개효과를 중심으로)

  • The purpose of this study is to examine the effect of social anonymity on community quality and find out mediating factors that affect the relationship between social anonymity and community quality in online community sites. This study focuses on the factors such as self expression, self control, and community ties to investigate their mediating roles on the relationship between social anonymity and community quality. Also, discussion quality and information quality are used to measure online community quality. The results of this study show that social anonymity is directly related to discussion quality but not related to information quality. As for the mediating effects, self expression, self control and community ties are all shown to have strong mediating effects on the social anonymity and community quality relationship.

  • Real-time two-way communication has become an important factor in the relationship between consumers and broadcasters in the Live Commerce environment. To clarify, the relationship of the factors, and the effect of Live Commerce's on consumer purchase intention were examined. In addition, the role of Wanghong, who broadcasts Live Commerce and Co-experience that occurs between consumer and broadcasters influences consumer purchase intention. An online survey method was conducted for 403 subjects in their 20s that were Live Commerce users in Shanghai, Beijing, and Guangzhou, China. The number of final the data used for the analysis was 274 and anlaysis was conducted using SPSS 26.0 program and a Sobel test was employed. Based on the analysis of the data, it was found that Live Commerce's characteristics consisted of interactivity, security, and Wanghong's characteristics consisted of honesty, originality, and expertise. Also, it revealed that Co-experience was consisted of responsiveness and vividness. Second, for Live Commerce's characteristics, the Wanghong's characteristics, and Co-experience had a positive effect on the consumers' purchase intention. Third, the Wanghong's characteristics and vividness, a factor of Co-experience, had significant mediating effects on the relationship between Live Commerce's characteristics and the consumers' purchase intention. Finally, responsiveness of Co-experience had a noteworthy mediating effect on the relationship between the interactivity of Live Commerce's characteristics and the consumers' purchase intention. This study confirmed the important role of Live Commerce's characteristics, the Wanghong's characteristics and Co-experience in relation to the consumers' purchase intention. In addition, the Wanghong's characteristics and Co-experience were proposed as a significant mediating factors.

The Mediating Effect of Depression on the relationship between Emotional Labor and Somatic Symptoms and Insomnia in Non-Medical Hospital Workers (비의료직 병원 종사자들의 감정노동과 신체증상 및 불면증 간의 관계에서 우울의 매개효과)

  • The purpose of this study is to prevent risk of emotional labor and health through verifying the mediating effects of depression on the relationship between emotional labor and somatic symptoms and insomnia in non-medical hospital workers. For this study, a sample of 533 tertiary hospital's non-medical workers completed the questionnaires of the Korean Emotional Labor Scale, PHQ-15, ISI, PHQ-9. The data was analyzed using the SPSS 25.0 program. The results can be summarized as follows. 1. Among the emotional labor sub-factors, emotional dissonance had a significant effect on depression, somatic symptoms and insomnia. Other sub-factors had a relatively small effect or had no effect. 2. The results showed the partial mediating effects of depression on the relationship between emotional labor and somatic symptoms. 3. The results showed the full mediating effects of depression on the relationship between emotional labor and insomnia. On the basis of the results, we suggest the necessity of dealing with emotional dissonance and depression in non-medical hospital workers' emotional labor and health issues.

A Study on the Effect of Social Franchise Characteristics on Management Performance: Focusing on the Mediating Effect of Franchise Autonomy (소셜 프랜차이즈 특성요인이 경영성과에 미치는 영향 연구: 가맹점 자율성의 매개효과를 중심으로)

  • As the social economy emerges as one of the alternatives for solving social problems, interest and experiments on social franchise, a methodology for scaling the social economy, continue to increase. The success or failure of social franchise has a huge impact on franchisors, members of franchisees, as well as beneficiaries, local residents, and stakeholders in the region, but research on ways to increase their chances of success is still insufficient. Based on previous studies, this study tried to derive success factors by analyzing the effects of social franchise characteristics on business performance, and to understand the mediating effect of franchise autonomy, which is the differentiation point of social franchises, between characteristic factors and business performance. Social value orientation, social economy experience, local network utilization, and customer orientation were derived as characteristic factors affecting business performance, and franchise autonomy was set as a mediating variable, and a survey was conducted for franchisee members and their influence was analyzed. Through this study, it was found that social economy experience and local network utilization had a positive (+) effect on economic performance, and social value orientation, local network utilization, and customer orientation had a positive (+) effect on social performance. Also, the results of franchise autonomy playing a mediating role between social economy experience, local network utilization and economic performance, and a mediating role between local network utilization and social performance were presented. This study has significance as the first study to conduct a full-scale empirical study on social franchises. It is hoped that theoretical research on social franchises will be more active in the future and will be used as a useful reference for performance creation for organizations that seek or already operate social franchises.

Effects of Nurses' Perception of Servant Leadership on Leader Effectiveness, Satisfaction and Additional Effort: Focused on the Mediating Effects of Leader Trust and Value Congruence (간호사가 지각한 리더의 서번트 리더십이 리더효과, 리더만족 및 추가적 노력에 미치는 영향: 리더 신뢰 및 가치일치의 매개효과를 중심으로)

  • Purpose: This study was done to examine the effects of nurses' perception of servant leadership on leader effectiveness, satisfaction and promoting additional effort. The focus was the mediating effects of leader trust and value congruence. Methods: Data were collected from 361 RN-BSN students and nurses participating in nationally attended in-service training programs. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and structural analysis with SPSS 17.0 windows program and Amos 7.0. Results: Direct effects of nurses' perception of servant leadership were negative, but mediating effects of trust and value congruency were positively correlated with leader effectiveness, satisfaction and additional effort, that is servant leadership should be effective through mediating factors. Conclusion: The study results indicate that if the middle managers of nurses can build leader trust and value congruency between nurses through servant leadership, leader effectiveness, satisfaction and additional effort on the part of the nurses could result in a positive change in the long term.

The Effects of Paternal Participation in Child Care and Social Support on Planning for a Second Childbirth, Focusing on the Mediating Effect of Maternal Parenting Stress (아버지의 자녀양육참여와 사회적 지원이 후속출산계획에 미치는 영향:어머니의 양육스트레스 매개를 중심으로)

  • This study examined the effects of paternal participation in child care and social support on planning for a second childbirth, focusing on the mediating effect of the mother's parenting stress. The 887 subjects studied in this paper were mothers who have a first child, and were selected from a sample of the 2nd Panel Study of Korean Children(PSKC) by the Korea Institute of Child Care and Education(KICCE), conducted in 2009. Data was analyzed using a Structural Equation Model(SEM) to identify a structure and relationships among factors. The significance of indirect effects to test the mediating effect of maternal parenting stress was identified via bootstrapping. Results indicated that maternal parenting stress partially mediated the relationship between the father's participation in child care and planning for a second childbirth, and absolutely mediated the relationship between social support and planning for a second childbirth. The findings reveal the importance of reducing parenting stress, given its substantial impact on planning for a second childbirth.
