Fabrication and application of high-aspect-ratio microchannels using laser-induced etching (레이저유도 에칭을 이용한 고세장비 마이크로채널 가공 및 응용)

  • High-aspect-ratio(max. 12.5) microchannels with excellent surface quality and good shape uniformity have been realized utilizing laser-induced etching technique. Etch width and depth variations depend largely upon process variables such as laser power and etchant concentration. Etchant concentration in association with viscosity also influence on the cross-sectional profile of the channels. The optimum process conditions for the fabrication of high-aspect-ratio microchannels applicable to micro thermal devices are demonstrated.

  • Electrochemical discharge machining is a very recent technique for non-conducting materials such as ceramics and glasses. ECDM is conducted in the NaOH solution and the cathode electrode is separated from the solution by $H_2$ gas bubble. Then the discharge is appeared and the non-conductive material is removed by spark and some chemical reactions. In the ECDM technology, the $H_2$ bubble control is the most important factor to stabilize the discharging condition. In this paper, we proposed the discharge peak monitoring/ discharging duty feedback algorithms for the discharge stabilization and the feasibility of this algorithm is verified by various pattern machining in the constant preload conditions for the cathode electrode.

  • Ball bearings (BB) are generally used in spindle of‘ disk drives at present, but they have been known that BB generate high frequency vibration. Fluid dynamic bearings (FDB) having high-rotational accuracy and small vibration characteristics have been developed as next generation spindles. Especially. a ferro fluid bearing (FFB) spindle has the advantage to prevent leakage and dispersion of lubricating oil using a ferro seal. In this study, we measured damping characteristics and frequency characteristics of these bearing spindles using a high-frequency vibration base. High frequency excitation was added to these bearing spindles mounted on the vibration base, and we proved that FFB and FDB spindles have effective damping.

  • 본 논문은 비대칭 2상 SRM의 센서리스 속도제어를 위한 초기각 검출 및 초기 기동방식과 자속관측기를 적용한 센서리스 제어에서 전동기의 온도 및 파라미터 변동에 의한 자속 오차 성분으로 인해 발생하는 위치 추정오차를 보상하기 위한 새로운 보상기를 제안한다. 제안된 방식은 전압펄스 인가로 초기각을 검출하고 검출된 초기 위치정보를 바탕으로 동일한 전압펄스 인가를 통해 비여자상이 여자상이 되는 회전자 위치를 검출하여 상여자를 교체하는 초기기동을 통해 자속관측기를 적용한 센서리스 제어로 안정적으로 진입하도록 한다. 이 때, 제안된 추정위치 보상기를 통해 추정된 센서리스 위치를 순시적으로 보상한다.

  • This paper presents a design and analysis of torque characteristics of a two-phase SRM(Switched Reluctance Motor) for high speed blower system. To reduce the electrical frequency and core losses at high speed region, In order to reduce torque ripple and torque dead-band, variable rotor air-gap structure is adopted and the air-gap is optimized according to torque production. The optimized torque output is verified by the FEM results.

  • This paper proposes a high efficiency hybrid generator which has a winding and PM(Permanent Magent) field together. The PM field can supply the enough flux to generate the no-load output voltage, and the field winding current can supply the flux to compensate the voltage drop from the load. Furthermore, the PM exciter can supply the enough power for the field of the generator. The detailed design and the FEM analysis are presented to verify the proposed hybrid generator. Then the experimental results shows the effectiveness of the proposed system.

  • 본 논문에서는 세탁기의 DD Moter로 사용되고 있는 BLDCM을 대신하여 세탁기의 부하에 따른 세탁모드와 탈수모드의 특징에 만족시키는 외전형 SRM을 설계하였다. 이와 같은 특징을 고려하여 외전형 SRM의 극 조합으로 12/8, 18/12, 36/24 극에 대해 설계하고 유한요소해석법을 통해 외전형 SRM의 특성을 해석하였다. 본 논문에서는 세탁기용 전동기에 알맞은 구조로 18/12극이 적절한 것으로 평가되었다.

  • 본 논문은 페달력과 전기 구동력을 동시에 사용하는 하이브리드 3륜 전기자전거의 구동부에서 보조력의 제어에 토크리플이 억제될 수 있도록 역기전력 함수를 이용한 PAS(Power assist system)을 제안한다. 제안된 방식에서는 하이브리드 3륜 전기자전거의 구동력을 제공하는 BLDC(Brushless DC) 전동기의 역기전력 형상과 토크 사이의 상관관계를 바탕으로, 사용자의 요구 토크에 대하여 추정된 역기전력 역함수를 통해 지령 전류를 발생하고, 지령전류의 제어에는 추정된 역기전력함수를 사용하여 제어 성능을 향상시킨다. 연속적인 역기전력의 추정에는 홀센서의 위치각과 추정속도를 통해 연속적인 위치각을 추정하고, 이를 통해 룩-업 테이블의 실제 역기전력 데이터와 위치 보정값을 사용하게 된다. 하이브리드 3륜 전기자전거의 제안된 PAS 제어 방식은 시뮬레이션을 통해 가능성을 검증하였다.
