국가품질상 모델을 적용한 ICT산업의 인과 관계 분석 연구 (A Study on The Causal Relationships Between The International Model of ICT Using The National Quality Award Model)

  • The purpose of this study is to develop the measuring instruments for evaluation criteria for Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award(MBNQA), suitable for ICT Industries, and to analyze the cause-effect relationship between those criteria through aforementioned instruments. MBNQA is formed with seven categories: Leadership, Strategic planning, Focus on patients, other customers and markets, Measurement, analysis and knowledge management, Human resource focus, Process management and Results. As excluding the Human Resource Focus category, this study empirically examined the cause-effect relationship among six categories. In order to empirically examine the research model, this study calculated Cronbach's alpha and reliability index, thus examined the reliability and executed Exploratory Factor Analysis. Furthermore, Average Variance Extracted(AVE) is used to verify the discriminant validity. Lastly, the hypothesis testing was made complete through significance test on the paths between variables. The result of this study shows that both leadership and social responsibility have direct cause-effect relationship with Measurement, analysis and knowledge management, Human resource focus, Process management and also that this relationship has direct impact on Human resource focus, Measurement, analysis and knowledge management as well, consequently exerting influence on the result through Process management, Finance and Market data.

Internal Consistency and Concurrent Validity of Korean Language Version of WHODAS 2.0: 12 Item-Self Administered

  • Purpose: The aim of this study was to validate the Korean version of World Health Organization Disability Assessment Schedule 2.0 (KWHODAS 2.0) in 12 item-self administered version (12-self). Methods: The KWHODAS 2.0 and Korean Functional Rating index (KFRI) were tested for internal consistency, ceiling and floor effects, and concurrent validity in 111 patients with low back pain and/or neck pain. Results: A very high level of internal consistency was shown for both instruments; ${\alpha}$=0.96 with KWHODAS 2.0; 12-self and ${\alpha}$=0.97 for KFRI. No ceiling and/or floor effects were found in both the instruments. The KWHODAS 2.0 and KFRI were highly correlated (r=0.77), and the relationship of each item between KWHODAS 2.0 and KFRI was ranging from r=0.09 to 0.72. Conclusion: We conclude that the KWHODAS 2.0: 12-self and KFRI are reliable and are valid instruments for the measurement of disability in Korean speaking patients with low back and/or neck pain. Both instruments, the KWHODAS 2.0; 12-Self and KFRI are now suitable for use in clinical practice and research applications.

돌봄 측정 관련 국내 간호학 연구 문헌고찰: 양적 연구를 중심으로 (A Review of the Korean Nursing Research Literature with Focus on Quantitative Measurement of Caring)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study is to review the quantitative research literature on measuring caring in order to identify overall trends in measuring caring. Methods: Fifty three papers were selected from four databases including RISS4U, DBpia, KISS, and Korea Med. Results: The number of measuring caring papers has increased since 2000. Approximately 60 % of the total papers were descriptive and correlative design researches with convenience sampling. Jean Waston's theory was the most popular conceptual framework, but much of the research tended to be conducted without any conceptual framework. In that kind of research, 'caring' terms were used without definition. The most frequently used term for the concept of caring was nurses' caring behaviors. Also, 'nurses' was one of the most popular subjects. Thirty six measuring caring instruments were used. Twenty were developed in foreign countries and translated into Korean. The others were developed originally in Korean. Interpersonal Caring Technique - Communication Skills Scale, based on the interpersonal process model, was the most frequently used tool. Among the translated instruments, Coates' Caring Efficacy Scale was the most popular. Some instruments were used without validation. Conclusion: These results provide basic data on measuring caring and indicate directions for further research. In particular, validation studies of measuring caring instruments are needed.

Development of magnetic field measurement system for AMS cyclotron

  • A high-accuracy magnetic field measurement device based on a cyclotron is being developed for accelerator mass spectrometry (AMS). In this study, a magnetic field measurement device consisting of a Hall probe sensor, piezo-motor, and step motor was developed to measure the magnetic field of the AMS cyclotron magnet. The Hall probe sensor was calibrated to achieve positional accuracy by using polar coordinates. The measurement results between the ratchet gear and piezo-motor, which are the instruments used for driving the measurement device, were analyzed. The measurement result of the device with a piezo-motor exhibits a difference of 5 Gauss (0.04%) as compared with the simulation result.

초.중학생의 눈금 읽기 능력 및 측정 도구와 단위에 관련된 개념 조사 (Investigation on the Students' Abilities of Reading Scales and Conceptions Related with Measuring Instruments and Units)

  • 본 연구에서는 초 중등 학생들의 눈금 읽기 능력과 측정도구의 용도 및 단위에 대한 개념을 조사했다. 초등학생 72명, 중1 학생 69명, 중3 학생 80명의 학생을 대상으로 수행 평가 및 지필 평가를 실시했다. 눈금읽기 능력을 평가하기 위해서 개별 수행 평가를 실시했는데, 학생 개개인은 서류 봉투의 가로 세로 길이, 물의 온도, 물의 부피 등을 실험실에서 주로 사용하는 주어진 측정 도구를 사용하여 측정했다. 측정 도구 및 단위와 관련된 개념을 평가하기 위해서는 그림과 사진이 그려진 질문지를 사용했다. 눈금 읽기 능력 면에서 각 학년마다 적지 않은 측정오차를 내는 학생이 있음이 드러났으며 특히 질량이나 부피 측정의 경우 그 수가 더욱 증가했다. 측정 도구에 대한 학생의 개념 조사 결과 학생들은 물리량 개념이 정확하지가 않아 측정 도구가 측정할 수 있는 물리량을 제대로 지적하지 못했다. 또한 단위에 대해서도 혼동이 있어서 특히 질량, 무게, 부피나 힘의 단위 등을 어려워하고 있음을 알 수 있었다.

  • 이 연구의 목적은 확대하기 전 근관에서 전자근관장 측정 시의 정확성을 평가하고 확대된 근관에서 파일의 크기에 따른 네 가지 전자근관장 측정기의 정확성을 비교하기 위한 것이다. 발치된 치아 10개를 #10파일을 이용하여 치아의 실제길이를 측정하였다 현미경에서 25배 확대 하에 #10 파일이 치근단공을 넘어 해부학적 치근단공에 이를 때까지 전진하여 디지털 캘리퍼로 측정하였다. Root ZX, Bingo 1020, SmarPex, e-Magic Finder를 알지네이트를 이용한 인체 재현 모델을 이용하여 #10 파일로 apex 표시등에서 측정하였다 (S10). #45까지 핸드 파일로 확대한 다음 #10, #40 파일을 이용하여 전자근관장을 측정하였다. 실제 길이와 각각 측정값의 차이를 계산하여 L10, L40으로 정의하고 기계간의 비교는 one-way ANOVA통계처리하고, Scheffe's multiple range test로 사후 검증하였고, 같은 기계 안의 L10, L40은 Student's t-test로 비교하였다. 본 연구의 실험 조건 하에서, 측정값의 정확도가 기계간에 차이를 보였고, 파일의 크기는 측정값의 정확도에 영향을 주지 못하며, e-Magic Finder는 이 실험 조건하에서 다른 기계에 비해 가장 정확하였다.

Ultrafine Particle의 독성, 측정방법 및 관리 (Ultrafine Particle Toxicities, Current Measurement Techniques and Controls)

  • This study is an overview of toxicities and measurement techniques of ultrafine particles (UFPs), and their exposure controls. UFPs are ubiquitous in many working situations. Exposure to UFPs is possibly causing adverse health symptoms including cardio-respiratory disease to humans. In order to measure exposure levels of airborne UFPs, there are current available measurement guidelines, instruments and other techniques (i.e. contour mapping, control banding). However, these risk assessment techniques including measurement techniques, controls and guidelines are dependent on background levels, metrics (e.g. size, mass, number, surface area, composition), environmental conditions and controls. There are no standardized measurement methods available and no generic and specific occupational exposure standards for UFPs. It is thought that there needs to be more effort to develop Regulations and Exposure Standards for generic UFPs should be based on more exposure data, health surveys, toxicological data and epidemiological data. A carefully considered hierarchy of controls can also reduce the maximum amount of airborne UFPs being emitted from diverse sources in industries.

대전류 분류기 저항의 정밀측정 (Precise Measurement of High Current Shunt Resistance)

  • Precise measurement of extremely low resistance shunt is important for characterization and calibration of high current instruments. We tested resistance measurement method for extremely high current shunt (up to 140 kA), where resistance is determined by precise measurement of voltage drop at 10 A test current in the frequency range of 40 Hz to 10 kHz. For the extremely low ac voltage to be precisely measured, a verification of the measurement method was also carried, where the inherent noise is systematically evaluated. The measurement uncertainty was estimated to be $1\;\%\;at\;95\;\%$ confidence level (k=2) for about 50 $\mu\Omega$.

어림하기 활동이 유아의 수 연산과 측정 능력에 미치는 효과 (The Effects of Estimation Activities on Operation and Measurement Abilities of Children)

  • This study examined the effects of estimation activities on children's operation and measurement abilities. Subjects were 60 five-year-old children. This experiment used the untreated control group design with pretest and posttest. Instruments used to collect data were the Number and Operation and Measurement tests part of the Test of Mathematics Ability for Young Children (TMAYC) developed by Hong, Lee and Chung (2006). ANCOVA was employed for statistical analysis. Results of the posttest showed that children in the experimental group scored significantly higher on children's operation and measurement abilities than the control group. Results imply that an estimation program can be an effective teaching model for improving children's operation and measurement abilities.

  • In recent years, the widespread application of quality management and measurement reliability has put increasing emphasis on procedures for periodic instrument calibration. By optimizing calibration intervals, unnecessary calibrations can be minimized, thereby reducing costs. Moreover, optimizing intervals will improve compliance with regulatory directives while ensuring maximal compliance with reliability targets. In this paper, we present Calibration Interval Analysis Program developed using several establishment methodologies of calibration interval for measurement quality and reliability improvement. Also, we perform calibration interval analysis for some measurement instruments and analyse its results.
