The Effects of IS Strategic Alignment on the Development of IT Infrastructure: The Roles of Strategic Performance Measurement Systems (정보화 전략과 기업 전략의 연계가 정보기술 하부구조 구축에 미치는 영향: 전략적 성과평가시스템의 역할)

  • The influence factors on the development of information technology(IT) infrastructure for knowledge management(KM) were not empirically investigated and identified. This study empirically examines the relationships among strategic performance measurement systems(SPMS), organizational learning, the strategic alignment of business strategy with information systems(IS) strategy, which is the necessary condition to provide the kinds of knowledge required for the successful realization of business strategy, and the active construction of IT infrastructure for KM. This study demonstrates that SPMS directly affects the organizational learning, with which the members of an organization acquire the types of knowledge about strategic goals or objectives and the ways attaining these goals, and indirectly influences the IS strategic alignment through organizational learning. Thus, the alignment between business strategy and IS strategy can be facilitated and activated by the adoption and implementation of SPMS. According to the results of this study, it is observed that the IS strategic alignment and organizational learning positively affect the activation of the development of KM IT infrastructure in a firm. The results of this study also shows that the construction of KM IT infrastructure, which supports the realization of KM activities, such as knowledge creation, transfer and sharing, can enhance the strategic position of a firm, and the intensified competitiveness of a firm can lead to the improvement of performance.

  • One of the mechanical system engineer's tasks of a satellite design and development is to make the control plan, keep track and estimate the characteristics of system mass properties. As the design phases are go, mass properties related activities also transit as like a data collection, system mass property estimation and measurement. Fidelity of mass properties database should be confirmed through measurement test. In this paper the control plan and estimation of system mass properties are explained by the actual data and experience of the development of satellite and the fidelity of mass properties database was confirmed through measurement test.

  • The ODA(Official Development Assistance) of Korea is growing considerably, and the ODA projects in the technical and vocational education have the good performance to the recipient countries, because they have the direct and quick benefits. But there are no economic model of performance measurement for the ODA in the technical and vocational education. The purpose of this study is to develop the economic model of measuring the performance of the ODA in the technical and vocational education. This study use the ROI model using financial information and the BSC model using non-financial information, and link each model closely. The ROI model using financial information is more relevant, because the benefits of the technical and vocational education are distinct and quick to the recipient groups.

Location of pressure sensing holes in MPA flowmeter and discharge coefficients (MPA 유량계 압력감지공의 위치와 유출계수)

  • MPA (Multi-Point Averaging) flow element is a new type of differential pressure (DP) flow-sensing device that was developed by Seojin Instech to improve the operating characteristics of the conventional Averaging Pilot Tube (APT) flow elements. Operating characteristics of a flowmeter in general can be defined in terms of measurement accuracy and range. Improvement of accuracy and expanding the range of flow measurement were the two main objectives of the development. To achieve these dual objectives several upstream and downstream pressure-sensing holes were placed in MPA flow element. During the course of the development it was found that certain arrangements of the pressure-sensing holes improved measurement accuracy but did not expand operating flow range of Averaging Pilot Tubes. Development tests were performed with water between Reynolds number of 50,000 and 1,000,000 in the four-inch test line at the Alden Research Laboratory, U.S.A. Purpose of this paper is to present the relationship between the various locations of the pressure-sensing holes and the performance characteristics of MPA flow element. Furthermore, the operating characteristics of the best performing MPA are compared with those of typical orifice and APT.

Trends in Sleep Research: From Infancy Through Adolescence (영아기부터 청소년기까지 국내 수면 연구의 동향분석)

  • The purpose of this study was to explore research trends in sleep from infancy through to adolescence. To achieve this, an examination was conducted of sleep research published in Korea based on the publication year, developmental stages of the study participants, research designs, measurement tools, and research topics. A total of 362 academic journal articles and theses/dissertations published in Korea up until 2023 were selected. In terms of publication year, the first study was conducted in 1967 and the field became more active from 2010 onwards. The age group studied the most was adolescents, with cross-sectional research being the most common study design. Regarding sleep measurement tools, most scales measuring sleep in infants, preschoolers, children, and adolescents were developed abroad, then adapted or validated in Korea, or were modifications of adult scales tailored for specific studies. Lastly, in terms of research topics, the most common focus was the relationship between sleep and developmental characteristics, particularly its effects on emotional development. Based on these results, future research could focus on developing sleep-related intervention programs and measurement tools.

  • The purpose of this study is development of posture evaluation and Range of Motion(ROM) system by using digital vision analysis method. The results of this study are as follows. First, Scoliosis evaluation through this research measurement system represent 3mm error in 7 cervical point and deepest lumbar point, 0.7mm error in other point. This mean this research measurement system have a reliability for scoliosis evaluation. Second, for spine line evaluation on high fat subject, we need reconstrection spine line after measurement for fat thickness in 7 cervical point and deepest lumbar point. Third, In pedioscope error test, it present 0.01848cm in X axis and 0.01757cm in Y axis. This results mean pedioscope have a reliability foot evaluation. Forth, Posture evaluation and Range of Motion measurement system by using digital vision analysis method can fast measure in range of motion and foot evaluation and posture. therefore we can expect this system application in young people posture clinic center and hospital and so on.

  • We performed the development and performance evaluation of reflective type heart rate measurement system for PAPS. We used chip LED and chip photo TR. for low power driving. The measured PPG signal is preprocessed using high pass filter and low pass filter, and the preprocessed signal is displayed by LabVIEW. Also LabVIEW include the algorithm that extract effective signal and calculate the heart rate. We made sure that it will be able to apply to measurement equipment with high accuracy and repetition from exercising subject using this system and algorithm.

Development of an Aggression Scale for Adolescents: Based on Ajzen's Theory of Planned Behavior (청소년의 공격성 측정도구 개발: Ajzen의 계획된 행위 이론을 기반으로)

  • Purpose: This study was conducted to develop a scale for measuring aggression in adolescents, based on Ajzen's Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB). Methods: The participants were 38 adolescents in an in-depth study conducted to develop items for indirect measurement, 13 adolescents in a pre-test, and 289 adolescents in the present survey. The collected data were analyzed using content validity, the correlation coefficient, exploratory factor analysis, confirmatory factor analysis, reliability, and the Cronbach's ${\alpha}$. Results: In this study, the most important variable related to aggression was found to be aggression intention. This study included 4 factors of direct measurement and 6 factors of indirect measurement; therefore, 41 questions were developed. Increased levels of aggression were associated with higher scores for attitudes of aggression, subjective norms, perceived behavioral control, and aggression intention. Conclusion: We found that the questionnaire used in this study was valid and reliable as a measurement scale to explain aggression in adolescents based on TPB. Aggression intention should be included in aggression prevention programs because it was linked to aggressive behavior.

  • Pyroshock produced by the pyrotechnic devices can induce failures in nearby electronic devices. To handle and mitigate pyroshock inducing problems, appropriate measurement of pyroshock is essential. In this study, pyroshock measurement technique is established using laser Dopper vibrometers (LDVs) and shock accelerometers. Pyroshock produced by the explosive bolts and the pyrotechnic initiators under various environments is measured. The characteristics of pyroshock including the effects of supporting structures, propagation form on thin plate, sensor (contact and non-contact) types are discussed.

  • In general, stress measurement of existent shotcrete lining be used by pressure cells. but, measuring instrument is lost by high pressure at shotcrete lining construction and pressure cell's measurement value have to low believability by natural conditions like curing temperature. In this study, proposed techniques to measure without utilizing sensitive stress sensor in natural condition at point that want stress of shotcrete lining after shotcrete lining construction. Executed numerical analysis to forecast stress level that interact in tunnel shotcrete lining, measured strain of hole by load action through hole in shotcrete lining. 3D FEM(finite element method) is enforced through various parameters curing time of shotcrete lining, thickness, load condition. Different model cases applied by parametic study. As analysis result, it could grasp development possibility of method that propose this time because it could examine corelation with strain by near hole of shotcrete lining and stress about load condition.
