This research would be the first step toward in the long processes of proton technology industrial cluster development by focusing on the region's readiness and acceptability of the proton technology project. As is shown in our questionnaire survey, the top priorities needed to consider for the Proton Technology project are found to be job creation (mean 3.74), regional economic development (mean 3.72), industry infrastructure(3.54), institution for science and education(3.53), economic inequalities(3.33), tourism industry revitalization(3.20). For public servants top priorities in order found to be regional economic development, job creation, industry infrastructure, institution for science and education, economic inequalities, tourism industry revitalization. Universities' priorities in order found to be job creation, regional economic development, institution for science and education, industry infrastructure, economic inequalities, tourism industry revitalization. The mean reliability score for the each party was found to be mayor((3.04), citizens(2.99), province(2.97), private corporation(2.96), and universities((2.93). Of particular note, the mean score except the mayor were all below median (3.00). province(3.24), city council member(3.20), public employees (3.09), private corporation(3.03), nonprofit organization (2.97), mass media (2.96), citizens(2.96), and universities(2.89). The universities and colleges also should revise their strategic plans and thus restructure their internal academic programs, and must develop their own collaborative programs with Proton Engineering Frontier Project, related industries, city, and other government units. Not only educating, training, and providing top-notched man powers to the proton technology industries will be one of their primary missions.

The essay attempts at a critical reading of Thomas Hardy's The Mayor of Casterbridge (1886) in terms of character and socio-cultural change. Juxtaposing the story of Michael Henchard's career with the social and economic changes in the agricultural town, it attempts to elaborate on the complex ways in which Hardy relates the old modes of life and thinking to the material culture. Though the novel is centered on the story of Henchard, the Henchard-Farfrae clash represents the conflict of "old" and "new" modes of socio-economic organization and consciousness. The story of the rustic man of character struggling with his contradictory traits of strong will-power and emotional collapse suggests that Hardy's literary representation of the rural community and the rustic protagonist is deeply rooted in historical reality. However, while there is the interlocking of the changes in personal fate and social change, the representation is a "reinvented" literary construction with complex mediation. Despite the narrator's emphasis on Henchard's immutability, peculiarity, and resilience, his character is, in a complex, mediated way, shaped by the material conditions of English rural community in the late 19th century. The mediating role of Elizabeth-Jane as a narrative resolution embodies Hardy's ambivalent historical position concerning the period undergoing change and conflict.

본 연구는 서울 근대화의 주역인 김현옥 서울시장이 추진한 공원녹지 정책의 경로를 추적하고 그 특성을 밝히는 것을 목적으로 하였다. 그의 공원녹지 정책 논의를 발전시키기 위해 하이 모더니즘의 관점을 투영하였다. 하이 모더니즘은 전후 도시재건사업에서 나타나는 불가피한 현상으로 국가 엘리트들에 의한 이상적 사회질서와 합리적 계획에 대한 신념의 형태로 출현하였다. 이것의 특징은 가독성 구축, 권력에 의한 신속성과 편의성, 민간 참여와 이익 창출, 그리고 건설되는 도시의 스펙타클을 실현하는 것이었다. 하이 모더니스트로서 김현옥 서울시장의 도시계획은 폭증하는 인구와 서울 영토의 확장에서 비롯되었다. 그리고 그의 공원녹지 정책은 서울 외곽으로 공원을 확장시켰고, 도심에 위치한 공원을 전용하는 이원적 태도를 보였다. 한편 공원조성을 위해 민간의 참여를 유도하였지만 장소성을 소거하고, 관련 제도를 배제하는 근대화의 이면을 보여 주었다. 김현옥 시장의 공원녹지 정책의 경로는 인구증가에 대응하고 공원의 잠식을 해소하는 것에서 출발하였다. 그리고 정책의 궁극적 목표는 도시계획 현실화를 수용하고 비재정방식 실험하는 것이었다. 하이 모더니즘을 반영한 그의 공원녹지 정책의 특성은 첫째, 국토계획학회, HURPI 그리고 장문기로 대표하는 엘리트들이 참여하였고, 둘째, 사방위의 축, 표고 기준 그리고 인구 예측을 반영한 합리적 계획에 의한 공원녹지의 가독성을 구축하였다. 셋째, 급격한 도시변화에 대응하기 위해 신속하게 공원을 해제하였고 넷째, 민간자본을 유치하기 위한 이벤트와 스펙타클을 과시하였다.

본 연구는 2018년에 치러진 제7회 전국동시지방선거에 나왔던 선거 포스터 중 특정 후보인의 포스터의 시각적 디자인 요소를 분석하고, 이 포스터가 훼손된 이유에 관해서 알아보기 위해 선행연구와 심층면담을 진행한다. 이 연구의 목적은 시각적 디자인 요소가 훼손된 포스터에 어떠한 영향력을 행사했는지 알아보고자 함에 있다. 연구 방법으로는 국내 선거공약포스터의 훼손 사례들을 조사하였다. 그리고 2차 실증 연구로 심층면담을 진행하여 특정 서울시장 후보의 포스터의 시각적 디자인 요소에 관하여 연령대별 여성과 남성 대상자들의 긍정적이거나 부정적인 견해를 조사하였다. 그 결과, 2가지 지점을 발견했다. 첫째, 시각적 디자인 요소들은 공약포스터의 훼손에 직접적 영향을 주지 않았다. 두 번째, 메시지를 담고 있는 정치적 슬로건이 가장 부정적인 영향을 주었다. 이 연구는 시각적 디자인 요소가 선거공약 포스터에 미치는 영향력에 관한 조사로써, 국내 선거 공약 포스터의 훼손과 연관지어 연구했다는 데 의의가 있다. 추후 연구를 통해 국내 선거공약 포스터의 시각적 디자인 요소가 영향력 있게 발전하는 데에 도움이 되기를 기대한다.

본 연구는 4·7 서울시장 선거를 중심으로 유튜브 방송 콘텐츠를 통하여 인식된 정치인 이미지, 정치적 신념일치, 투표의도의 관계를 실증적으로 검증하는 것을 목적으로 하였다. 이를 위해 서울시 거주 20대 이상 유권자를 조사대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였으며, 다음과 같은 주요 결과를 도출하였다. 첫째, 정치인 이미지 요인 중 도덕성, 리더십, 행정력은 정치적 신념일치에 유의미한 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 정치인과의 정치적 신념일치는 유권자의 투표의도에 유의미한 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 정치인 이미지 요인 중 정치적 능력, 소통력은 투표의도에 직접적으로 유의미한 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 넷째, 정치인의 도덕성, 리더십, 행정력 모두 정치적 신념일치를 매개로 하여 유권자의 투표의도에 유의미한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구는 정치인 이미지, 정치적 신념일치, 유권자의 투표의도의 관계를 유튜브 방송 콘텐츠에 적용함으로써 정치적 신념일치와 유권자의 투표의도에 미치는 정치인 이미지 요인을 규명하였다는 점은 본 연구의 의의로 평가된다.

Protactinium contamination is a mayor issue in the thorium fuel cycle. We investigate, in this work, the consequences of Pa incorporation in vacancy defects and interstitials in Th, ThC and ThN. We calculate charge transfers and lattice distortions due to these incorporations as well as migration paths and energies involved in the diffusion of Pa.

The solar neighbourhood is the starting point for studies of the structure and evolution of the Galactic disk. Yet, our knowledge of the relative frequencies, distances, ages, chemical abundances, velocities, and birthplaces of the nearby stars is severely incomplete. We have determined complete, homogeneous, and precise such data for a kinematically unbiased sample of $\~$12,000 local F and G dwarf stars and describe a first, significant result from it.

본 연구는 2010년에 실시된 제5회 전국동시지방선거 당시 대구지역의 광역시장, 교육감, 구청장(군수)에 출마한 후보자들의 도서관 관련 공약제시 여부 및 공약내용을 검토하고, 당선된 단체장들이 도서관 관련공약을 어떻게 이행하였는지를 분석하였다. 대구지역 후보자 36명을 대상으로 중앙선거관리위원회에 제출된 선거공보 등을 토대로 공약을 분석하였으며, 이 중에서 자치단체장으로 당선된 11명의 공약 이행여부를 파악하기 위해 시청, 교육청, 구청의 홈페이지와 언론기사를 검색하여 분석하였다. 그 결과, 대구광역시장과 교육감 후보자들의 도서관 공약과 당선자들의 공약이행은 양적, 질적 측면에서 대체로 미흡하였다. 그리고 대구지역 기초단체장 후보자들은 54%가 도서관공약을 제시하였는데, 공공도서관 건립 공약과 작은도서관 조성 공약으로 한정되었다. 기초단체장 당선자들의 공약이행과 관련해 일부는 적극적으로 도서관 공약을 이행한 반면, 일부는 거의 이행하지 않은 것으로 나타났다.

소셜 네트워크 공론장에서의 이성적 토론과 공개적 대화는 숙의 민주주의 실현에 중요한 조건이다. 그런데 온라인 공간에서는 현실 공간보다 빈번하게 부정적 커뮤니케이션이 이뤄질 수 있으며 상호 적대적인 메시지가 나타나고 있다. 2011년 10.26 서울시장 재보궐 선거과정에서는 특정 지지자를 중심으로 결집한 시민들이 후보를 인신공격하거나 욕설, 비방하는 행동이 나타났다. 그렇다면 서울시장 재보궐 선거에서 플레밍 현상은 어떻게 그리고 어떤 수준으로 나타났는가? 플레밍 현상을 선동하는 영향력자가 존재하는가? 이들 영향력자의 플레밍 정도는 일반 사용자와 비교할 때 어떤 수준인가? 본연구는 선거과정에서 나타나는 플레밍 현상에 주목하여 메시지의 파급정도를 데이터 마이닝하여 이슈별로 분석하고 영향력자(Influencer)와 일반 트윗의 차이를 내용 분석하였다. 후보자 개인을 비판, 조롱, 악의적으로 공격하거나 편향된 정보가 유통되는 플레밍 현상이 빈번하게 나타났고 의견을 선도하는 영향력자들이 일반 이용자보다 더 높은 플레밍 수준을 나타내고 있다.
