일반화된 특이치를 사용한 강인한 극배치 조건 (Robust pole placement condition using generalized singular value)

  • In this paper, generalized singular value is defined. Using the generalized singular value, robust stability conditions and robust pole placement conditions of structured uncertain systems with star shaped uncertainties are derived. Especially, norm bounded and polytopic uncertainty regions are considered as star shaped uncertainty regions. Linear matrix inequality problems are proposed in order to compute the upper bound of the generalized singular value. The proposed linear matrix inequality problems can be solved by using the convex optimization method.

  • 감쇠최소자승법은 각종 물리탐사 자료에 가장 널리 사용되는 역산법이다. 일반적으로 최소자승법에서 최소화되는 목적함수는 자료오차(data misfit)와 모델제한자의 합으로 주어진다. 따라서 역산에서 자료오차와 모델제한자는 함께 중요한 역할을 담당한다. 하지만 역산에 관한 대부분의 연구는 주로 모델제한자의 설정방법과 적절한 라그랑지 곱수의 선정방법에 치중되어 왔다. 일반적으로 자료획득시 자료가 갖는 표준편차를 자료가중값의 계산에 사용하는 것이 추천되고 있지만, 실제 현장조사에서는 자료의 표준편차는 좀처럼 측정되지 않으며, 대부분의 역산에서 자료가중행렬은 어쩔 수 없이 단위행렬로 간주된다. 본 논문에서는 자료분해능행렬과 그 분산함수를 분석하여 자동적으로 계산된 자료가중행렬을 사용하는 역산법을 개발하였다. EACB법이라 명명한 이 역산법에서는 분해능이 높은 자료에는 높은 가중값을, 작은 자료에는 작은 가중값을 부여한다. 개발된 EACB 역산법을 전기비저항 토모그피법에 적용한 결과, 보다 안정적이고 분해능이 향상된 결과를 얻을 수 있었다.

  • In this paper, we consider the design of robust pole assignment for linear system. Considered uncertainty is time-varying uncertainty. Based on Lyapunov stability theorem and linear matrix inequality(LMI) we present the design result for pole assignment. Finally, we give some numerical examples to show the applicability and usefulness of our presented results.

  • This paper presents a procedure of implementing a robust controller for a paper-making plant in DCSs. A paper-making process generally has triple problems to automatically tune its output qualities : Long transport delays which are not able to be simply linearized. The transfer matrix of the process is not square. And every plant model has some uncertainty in low and middle frequency region. To tackle these problems, a multi-input / multi-output (MIMO) plant model having some uncertainty was derived by considering some physical and mechanical principles of the process. 국가산림자원조사 고정표본점 자료를 이용한 토지이용변화 평가 (Land-use Change Assessment by Permanent Sample Plots in National Forest Inventory)

  • Forests are to be recognized as an important carbon sink under the UNFCCC that consist of above- and below-biomass, dead organic matter (DOM) such as dead wood and litter, and soil organic matter (SOM). In order to asses for DOM and SOM, however, it is relevant to land-use change matrices over last 20 years for each land-use category. In this study, a land-use change matrix was produced and its uncertainty was assessed using a point sampling technique with permanent sample plots in national forest inventory at Chungbuk province. With point sampling estimated areas at 2012 year for each land-use category were significantly similar to the true areas by given six land-use categories. Relative standard error in terms of uncertainty of land-use change among land-use categories ranged in 4.3~44.4%, excluding the other land. Forest and cropland covered relatively large areas showed lower uncertainty compared to the other land-use categories. This result showed that selected permanent samples in the NFI are able to support for producing land-use change matrix at a national or province level. If the $6^{th}$ NFI data are fully collected, the uncertainty of estimated area should be improved.

  • This paper proposes a stability condition in affine Takagi-Sugeno (T-S) fuzzy systems with parametric uncertainties and then, introduces the design method of a fuzzy-model-based controller which guarantees the stability. The analysis is based on Lyapunov functions that are continuous and piecewise quadratic. The search for a piecewise quadratic Lyapunov function can be represented in terms of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs).

혈당상승억제 기능성 소재인 달맞이꽃종자 추출물의 지표물질 분석법의 통계적 검증에 대한 연구 (A Study on the Statistical Method for the Target Component of a Glucose-lowering Functional Material in Extracts of Evening Primerose Seeds)

  • Background: The use of the extracts from evening primrose seeds as a health functional food has been gradually increased. Therefore, the monitoring and screening process has been considerably required for its quality control. Objective: This study aimed to estimate the measurement uncertainty associated with determination of penta-o-galloyl ${\beta}$-D-glucose (PGG) in extracts from evening primrose seeds by high-performance liquid chromatography. Methods: The sources of measurement uncertainty was expressed in accordance with mathematical/statistical theories of GUM & EURACHEM Guide. The expanded uncertainty was calculated by using the relative standard uncertainty between analytical result and sources of uncertainty in measurement (sample weight, final volume, extraction volume, standard solution, matrix and instrument etc). Results: In the results of 95% confidence interval, the uncertainty in measurement was $10,253.34{\pm}1,844.50{\mu}g/kg$ (k = 2.0). Conclusion: In this study, it showed that the value of uncertainty in measurement for determination of PGG in extracts from evening primrose seeds by HPLC has about 18.0% influence on PGG contents of the analytical results. The results would be very useful for the monitoring and screening of evening primrose seeds marketed in Korea for its quality control as dietary supplement.

  • This paper deals with the problem of robust TDF(Two Degree of Freedom) H$_{\infty}$ control design for a linear system with parameter uncertainty in the state space model. The uncertain system considered here is with the time-invariant norm-bounded parameter uncertainty in the state matrix. A TDF H$_{\infty}$ control design is presented which robustly stabilizes the plant, guarantees the robust H$_{\infty}$ performance and improves the tracking performance for the closed-loop system in the face of parameter uncertainty. It is shwon that a suitable stabilizing control law can be constructed in terms of a positive definite solution to a certain parameter-dependent algebraic Riccati equation and a good tracking performance can be constructed in terms of suitable feedforward control law.aw.

  • In this paper, reheat-fan engine is described as class of models constructed from nominal and uncertainty model for robust control. In this class of models, uncertainty model consists of structured and unstructured uncertainty, and each model is identified from nonlinear simulation using FFT and ML technique. Then, control requirements and augmented plant are specified. H$_{\infty}$ controller satisfying the control requirements is designed by using constant scaling matrix. Finally, efficacy of the H$_{\infty}$ controller is showed by computer simulation.n.

  • In order to reject the steady-state tracking error, it is common to introduce integral compensators in servosystems for constant reference signals. However, if the mathematical model of the plant is exact and no disturbance input exists, the integral compensation is not necessary. From this point of view, a two-degree-of-freedom(2DOF) servosystem has been proposed, in which the integral compensation is effective only when there is a modeling error or a disturbance input. The present paper considers robust stability of this 2DOF servosystem incorporating an observer to the structured and unstructured uncertainties of the controlled plant. A robust stability condition is obtained using Riccati inequality, which is written in a linear matrix inequality (LMI) and independent of the gain of the integral compensator. This result impies that if the plant uncertainty is in the allowable set defined by the LMI condition, a high-gain integral compensation can be carried preserving robust stability to accelerate the tracking response.
