In this paper, we verified the effect and appropriateness of the scheme to cure the math. disliking disposition which is the cause of underachievement in learning. We choose 3 middle schools as the subject of experiment for this research. Each experiment class consists of 27∼30 students(underachievers) whose final test results of 1st school year in the middle school are 30∼60 points. In this case, we also select some middle level students whose test results are more than 60 points for the normal experimental condition. For this research, we developed the suitable test materials to cure the mathematics disliking disposition of underachievers. We applied those test materials to the experiment schools during 2.5 months and we analysed the variation of disliking disposition, the variation of math. dislike students' number and the cure rate of the math. disliking disposition. From the results of this experimental study, we find that the factors of teacher and math recognition environment have only the significant difference of math. disliking disposition between experiment class and comparison class under the 5% significance level in one middle school. We understand that this results caused by teachers' careful advice and guidance in that middle school. We also find that the number of student who dislike mathematics decreased in two middle schools. Furthermore 50% of math. disliking dispositions are cured for 9 disliking factors in the lower grade group(the group of underachievers) and as a whole, we can see that 50% of cure rate for the 7 factors of math. disliking in two middle schools. So we can understand that the experiment of our research was performed successfully in two middle schools. In this research, we find out that the scheme to cure the disliking dispositions for the factors of math. disliking depends on the factors of teacher who take charge of cure. So teachers must take interest in and must have careful concern to students and their math. disliking.

급변하는 사회 환경에 따라 학교교육도 다양성을 추구하고 있는 가운데 교실 내에서도 획일적인 수업이 아니라 학생의 수준에 따라 교육과정을 편성하여 운영하도록 요구되는 추세이다. 이에 본 연구에서는 초등학교 6학년 학급 내 기존의 수업방법에서 탈피하고, 개정 제7차 수학과 교육과정에서 강조하고 있는 수준별 수업을 현장에 적용하기 위해 실험집단을 상, 하 집단으로 편성하여 각 집단에 맞는 수준별 수업 프로그램을 구안하여 적용한 후, 수학 학업성취도 및 수학적 성향에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지 알아보았다. 이 연구는 개정 제7차 수학과 교육과정이 추구하는 목적을 사전에 적용하여 분석해 봄으로써 교실에서 수준별 수업의 방향을 제시하고자 한다.

초등학교 6학년을 대상으로 6회 총 120분 동안 숫자 1, 9, 9, 6을 활용해서 1에서 100까지 수를 만들게하는 활동을 한 결과를 제시하고 분석하였다. 이 퍼즐과제 활동 결과 분석을 통해 학습자의 수학적 사고의 실행과 형성과정 및 수학적 성향의 변화과정을 알 수 있었다. 특히, 이 과제에서 아이들은 협동의 이점을 알게 되었고 수학적 의사소통의 중요성도 경험하는 계기가 되었다. 무엇보다도 지수, 제곱근, 가우스 함수의 아이디어가 먼저 제시되고, 후속학습이 일어났다. 학습자가 계산기 사용과 수식표현간의 관계와 계산기로 지수와 제곱근의 의미를 구성하는 데에 계산기가 활용될 수 있음을 보여주었다.

본 연구는 스토리텔링 통합 수 프로그램을 구성 실행해 본 이후 유아의 수학적 성향 및 자기효능감에 미치는 영향을 파악하는데 목적이 있다. 프로그램은 누리과정의 수학적 탐구하기인 '수와 연산의 기초개념 알아보기', '공간과 도형의 기초개념 알아보기', '기초적인 측정하기', '규칙성 이해하기', '기초적인 자료수집과 결과 나타내기'의 5가지 내용으로 구성하였다. 각 내용에 가장 적절하다고 판단되는 활동을 20회로 구성하여 만 5세 유아를 대상으로 프로그램을 실시하였다. 프로그램 실시 후 수학적 성향 및 자기효능감에서 실험집단 유아의 점수가 비교집단 유아의 점수보다 유의하게 높은 것으로 나타나 스토리텔링 통합 수 프로그램이 유아의 수학적 성향 함양과 자기효능감 향상에 영향을 미쳤음을 알 수 있다. 본 연구는 스토리텔링 수학과 통합 수 프로그램을 실시하려는 현장의 교사들에게 구체적이고 효과적인 교수-학습 프로그램을 제공할 수 있을 것으로 기대한다.

Tessellations are the pattern of iterations of geometric symmetry and translation. We can find them in the works of Escher who is the famous Dutch artist, and the American Indean life. Also, we can find the beauty of tessellations in the Korean traditional house door, Buddist temple architecture, palace's fence, etc. In the article, the figures of patterns we present are bird, fish, cat, pig, elephant, penguin, child and horse riding man, including Escher's, which are constructed using the computer geometric program, GSP (Geometer's Sketchpad). We want to talk about girl's disposition toward mathematics related to the figures. If they are supported by this kind of interesting figures constructed by their own hands, students will have more interest in learning geometric figures.

This study qualitatively investigates the nature of the challenges that a student who is highly successful in mathematics faces in learning college-level elementary statistics. The study draws on the constructs of eagerness, flexibility and willingness to characterize the necessary disposition for critical thinking that is essential in learning statistics. The case study is based on data collected through a survey assessment and a follow-up interview with a mathematics major enrolled in an elementary college statistics course at the time of the study. The qualitative analysis relies on the student's verbal descriptions of the challenges he was experiencing in the course. The findings suggest that while his strong inclination towards inquisitive learning and strong understanding of mathematical concepts supported this student's mathematics learning, the same characteristics might have been causing him difficulties in learning college-level elementary statistics.

본 연구는 2009 개정 교육과정의 도입에서 관심이 모아지고 있는 세 주제, 창의성, 다문화, 그리고 수학적 성향을 중심으로 미래 평가의 바람직한 방향을 모색해보고자 하였다. 창의성을 올바르게 평가하기 위해서는 융통성에 대한 평가문항의 활용뿐만 아니라 유창성, 정교성, 독창성에 관한 문항개발도 이루어져야함을 제기하였다. 다문화영역에서는 단순히 한국어 교과만이 아니라 수학교과에서도 다양한 학습방법과 다양한 평가방법을 통해서 다문화권 학생이 언어적 능력을 향상시킬 수 있고 동시에 수학적 능력을 평가 받을 수 있는 다양한 형태의 이중 언어 프로그램에 따른 평가방법을 제공하여야 한다. 또한, 우리나라 학생의 매우 낮은 수준의 수학적 성향은 고등교육에서 인재양성에 부정적인 영향을 미치므로 수학에 대한 흥미와 자신감 등의 성향을 향상될 수 있게 먼저 교수 학습이 이루어져야하며 다양한 유형의 설문지를 개발하고 면담기법을 이용한 과정평가에 더욱 노력해야한다.

Mathematical creativity is a main topic which is studied within mathematics education. Also it is important in learning school mathematics. It can be important for mathematics teachers to view mathematical creativity as an disposition toward mathematical activity that can be fostered broadly in the general classroom environment. In this article, it is discussed that creativity-enriched mathematics instruction which includes creative problem-solving and problem-posing tasks and activities can be guided more creative approaches to school mathematics via routine problems.

The purpose of this thesis is to analyze the effect on formation of computational abilities and dispositions to the first grade of elementary school students by applying of communicative teaching and learning activity. As a result of analysis, we could get some suggestive points and also we could make sure that computational abilities and dispositions of the first grade students are formed by applying of communicative teaching and learning activity. However, help and control of teacher have to be with it.

본 연구는 성격과 수학불안이 무관하지 않다는 선행연구를 토대로 성격유형에 따라 수학불안 하위요인에서의 불안 정도를 비교하고 검증하였다. 연구대상은 충남 공주 및 경기도 안양의 고등학생 159명이었고 네 가지 선호지표(E-I, S-N, T-F, J-P), 기능과 기질, 16가지 성격유형으로 분류하고 각 유형별, 수학불안 하위요인별로 느끼는 수학불안 정도를 측정하였다. 그 결과 수학불안 하위요인인 학습동기에서는 E형이 교수방법에서는 N형의 학생들이 수학불안을 가장 많이 느끼고 있음을 보였다. 또한 교수방법에서 심리적 기질 및 기능에서 NT형의 학생들이 수학불안 정도가 높게 나옴으로서 성격유형에 따른 수학불안의 하위요소와의 관련성이 있음을 검증하였으며, 이를 통하여 수학불안 하위요소를 고려한 교수 학습을 제안할 수 있다.
