In this study, the influences of triaxial magnetic field on the wave propagation behavior of anisotropic nanoplates are studied. In order to include small scale effects, nonlocal strain gradient theory has been implemented. To study the nanoplate as a continuum model, the three-dimensional elasticity theory is adopted in Cartesian coordinate. In our study, all the elastic constants are considered and assumed to be the functions of (x, y, z), so all kind of anisotropic structures such as hexagonal and trigonal materials can be modeled, too. Moreover, all types of functionally graded structures can be investigated. eigenvalue method is employed and analytical solutions for the wave propagation are obtained. To justify our methodology, our results for the wave propagation of isotropic nanoplates are compared with the results available in the literature and great agreement is achieved. Five different types of anisotropic structures are investigated in present paper and then the influences of wave number, material properties, nonlocal and gradient parameter and uniaxial, biaxial and triaxial magnetic field on the wave propagation analysis of anisotropic nanoplates are presented. From the best knowledge of authors, it is the first time that three-dimensional elasticity theory and nonlocal strain gradient theory are used together with no approximation to derive the governing equations. Moreover, up to now, the effects of triaxial magnetic field have not been studied with considering size effects in nanoplates. According to the lack of any common approximations in the displacement field or in elastic constant, present theory has the potential to be used as a bench mark for future works.

Purpose: The purpose of the study was to identify the subtypes of idiopathic osteoarthritis of the tarsometatarsal joints based on accompanying hindfoot, midfoot, or foot deformities and their corresponding surgical options and also to evaluate the overall clinical results. Materials and Methods: The study included 59 patients (67 feet) with idiopathic tarsometatarsal joint osteoarthritis. Tarsometatarsal fusion was performed for tarsometatarsal joint and accompanied secondary change was divided into subtypes and various bony reconstruction was carried out. The patients were evaluated with the AOFAS midfoot score and FFI. The average patient age was 60.2 years with 40.6 months follow-up. Fifty-four feet (80.6%) had been treated with realignment fusion. Twenty-six feet had first and second tarsometatarsal joint fusion, and 20 feet had first tarsometatarsal fusion only. Six subtypes were identified based on associated foot deformities: 1) in-situ without deformities (18%), 2) pes planovalgus (45%), 3) rockerbottom (15%), 4) cavus foot (1%), 5) hallux valgus (12%), and 6) hallux valgus with pes planovalgus or rockerbottom (9%). Plantar-medial closing-wedge resection was used in 10 feet to correct rockerbottom. For pes planovalgus, a medial sliding calcaneal osteotomy was done. Lateral column lengthening with medial sliding calcaneal osteotomy was done for severe pes planovalgus, and triple arthrodesis was done for rigid pes planovalgus. Hallux valgus was corrected with the Lapidus procedure (85.7%). Results: AOFAS midfoot scores improved from preoperative 34.1 points to postoperative 83.9 points (p<0.05). The Foot Function Index postoperatively also showed significant improvement (p<0.05), with a high satisfaction rate (86.6%). There were 29 complications, most commonly sesamoid pain. Conclusion: Idiopathic tarsometatarsal OA feet can be classified into six categories. Pes planovalgus feet should be treated with medial sliding calcaneal osteotomy, lateral column lengthening, or triple arthrodesis in addition to tarsometatarsal joint realignment fusion. Rockerbottom and hallux valgus deformities should also be addressed.

This study is about women's veils from Chosen period housed in various museums and see how they reflect the escalating inequality between the two sexes based on Confucianism and its social ramifications including the strict rules that kept women from freely communicating or staying in same quarters with men from tender age. I first visited various museums to see what kind of veils they had in their collections and then looked at reproductions, museum catalogues, and other studies to get a better understanding of the designs, colors, and fabrics of the veils in each collection and came to following conclusions:. 1. I looked at 26 veils of 7 different sues both in person and in museum catalogues, and they included a Neouls,3 Myunsas, l2Jahngots,4 Chuneuis,1 Sahkgat 3Junmos, and 1 Garima. Various documents attest to the existence of one more style of veil,1. e. skirt-shaped veil, but there was no specimen of the type. 2. Museums had various types of veils for women, but most of them dated from late Chosun period. 3. Female veils in Chosun period had dearly-defined characteristics depending on their wearers. Each type had its own fabric color, and form, so one could tell the status of the wearer just by looking at it 4. The veils that I found at museums around the country had following characteristics: . Neoul was worn by high-class women and it covered up the face better than other types of veils. Myunsa was also caned Myunsapo, and it featured brilliant gold foils to mark the salted status of the wearer. Jahngot was originally a robe for both sexes but it turned into a type of veil for low-class females in late am period and there were more Jangots in museum collections than my other type of veils. Chuneui has various styles and it has a cotton lining so low-class women wore it to both cover the face and to stay worn Sahkgat was worn by low-class women for its convenience. Junmo was elaborately decorated and showy, and it was worn by courtesans. Garima was worn by courtesans or professional women in medicine, and unlike other type of veils, it showed the face of the wearer.

In this paper, we extend the multiple time scale control framework to window-based congestion control, in particular, TCP. This is performed by interfacing TCP with a large time scale control module which adjusts the aggressiveness of bandwidth consumption behavior exhibited by TCP as a function of "large time scale" network state. i.e., conformation that exceeds the horizon of the feedback loop as determined by RTT. Performance evaluation of multiple time scale TCP is facilitated by a simulation bench-mark environment which is based on physical modeling of self-similar traffic. If source traffic is not extended exceeding, when RTT is 450ms, in self similar burst environment, performance gain of TCP-SSC is up to 45% for ${\alpha}$=1.05. However, its is acquired only 20% performance gain for ${\alpha}$=1.95 relatively. Therefore we showed that by TCP-MTS at large time scale into a rate-based feedback congestion control, we are able to improve two times performance significantly.

Recently, the marine leisure industry has begun to make a mark on the growth engines of the Korean economy. Hence, various government research projects are in progress to catch up with the fundamental yacht technologies of advanced countries. Research on the integrated management technologies of sail yachts is carried out as a part of those projects. Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) is a basic architecture for robust and high-level management systems. In this paper, we suggest a product-oriented Yacht Work Breakdown Structure (YWBS). General WBS has a drawback in that it can only follow the targeted purpose, but YWBS allows for a generic WBS approach. This concept allows us to apply WBS to multi-purpose uses. The YWBS is used as an infrastructure in information management and for data relationships in sail yacht management systems. YWBS is designed and managed by a web application, and the system is implemented with a website as a user interface. This application has not only a design function, but also a data transfer function that is based on the Microsoft Silverlight platform, a kind of Rich Internet Application (RIA) technology. Using this application, YWBS designers can communicate with the management system without added tasks like as uploading and updating.
Since self-efficacy was suggested by Bandura(1977) as the most important factor that affects human behavior, preceding studies about self-efficacy are frequently related with children, and it is a main stream that only personal factors are chosen as related factors of these studies. Considering we don't have enough studies about family factors that reflect qualitative and relational factors of adolescents' home background, this study was aimed to seize the actual condition of self-efficacy meaning perceived and emotional faith about their own ability. These are our major concerns: 1. What kind of tendency does self-efficacy and appearance stress of adolescents, family functioning show? 2. How strong are relative influences of variables on self-efficacy of adolescents? This study was operated on July and August, 2002, aimed 378 middle school and high school students in Jeon-Nam, Mokpo area. 378 question sheets were used for analysis. Followings are results of this study. First, aimed students' average mark of self-efficacy was 2.09, which meant a normal level. And in low-ranked part, self-control-efficacy was the highest, and confidence task difficulty preference was following. Furthermore, whole self-efficacy showed a little difference from the demographic factor of adolescents. In low-ranked part, however, confidence and self-efficacy showed a somewhat difference. As students grew up, confidence decreased, and male students showed higher self-control-efficacy than female ones. Second, appearance stress and family functioning degree had a strong relation with self-efficacy. Family functioning, had important interrelation not only with whole self-efficacy but also with low-ranked part of self-efficacy. In low-ranked part, self-control-efficacy and task difficulty preference were proportional to the family functioning degree. From these results, we can find that the appearance stress was an actual factor that affected the self-efficacy of adolescents, and their self-efficacy was strongly related with family functioning degree. Accordingly, affirmative emotion in family, harmonic communication among family members and sharing housekeeping works had an immediate influence on elevation of self-efficacy.

This paper presents a unified live-streaming method based on Hypertext Mark-up Language 5(HTML5) for an IP camera which is independent of browsers of clients and is implemented with open-source libraries. Currently, conventional security systems based on analog CCTV cameras are being modified to newer surveillance systems utilizing IP cameras. These cameras offer remote surveillance and monitoring regardless of the device being used at any time, from any location. However, this approach needs live-streaming protocols to be implemented in order to verify real-time video streams and surveillance is possible after installation of separate plug-ins or special software. Recently, live streaming is being conducted through HTML5 using two different standard protocols: HLS and DASH, that works with Apple and Android products respectively. This paper proposes a live-streaming approach that is linked on either of the two protocols which makes the system independent with the browser or OS. The client is possible to monitor real-time video streams without the need of any additional plug-ins. Moreover, by implementing open source libraries, development costs and time were economized. We verified usefulness of the proposed approach through mobile devices and extendability to other various applications of the system.
In Korean dialogue honorification phenomenon may occur, an honorific pronoun may be used, and a subject or an object may be completely omitted when it can be recovered based on context. This paper proposes that in order to process Korean dialogue in which such distinct linguistic phenomena occur and to construct its representation structure we mark and use the following information explicitly, not implicitly : information about dialogue participants, information about the speech act of an utterance, information about the relative order of social status for the people involved in dialogue, and information flow among utterances of dialogue. In addition, this paper presents a method of marking and using such situational information and an appropriate representation structure of Korean dialogue. In this paper we set up Korean dialogue representation structure by modifying and extending DRT (Discourse Representation Theory) and SDRT (Segmented Discourse Representation Theory). Futhermore, this paper shows how to process Korean dialogue computationally and construct its representation structure by using Prolog programming language, and then applies such representation structure to spontaneous Korean dialogue to know its validity.
The object of this study lies on classifying the size, which is mostly favored in Korea where the wedding dress is usually regarded as an article for rent, and on suggesting the range of sleeve design and that of neck line of bodice. For that, I extracted the average size by analyzing and researching the standard size of actual bodice from real wedding dress manufacturing company. According to the result of the research I named the standard size of Korean wedding dress for rent as 'WM' which has the girth of 88cm and the waist measure of 69cm. Based on the size 'WM', I also named the size 'WS' which has the girth of 82cm with extra length of 6cm up and down and the waist measure of 64cm with extra length of 5cm, and the size 'WL' which has the girth of 94cm and the waist measure of 74cm with same extra length as the size 'WS'. The extra space for the inseam of the back is 3 inches for left and right for all sizes and the mark of body size is standardized as 'girth-waist measure'. After that, I suggested the design types of sleeves and neck line of bodice which defined as its size by classifying the bodice of wedding dress based on its size. Generally the neck line of the tank top style has the widest range of wearable size, and the high neck line and bateau neck line types have the narrowest range. And the sleeveless type has the widest range of wearable size while the raglan type has the narrowest one.

A new technique for control of size and shape of flame-made particles is Introduced. The characteristic sintering time can be controlled Independently of collision time by heating the particles with irradiation of laser because the sintering time strongly depends on temperature. A coflow oxy-hydrogen diffusion flame burner was used for $SiCl_4$ conversion to silica particle. Nanometer sized aggregates irradiated by a high power CW $CO_2$ laser beam were rapidly heated up to high temperatures and then were sintered to approach volume-equivalent spheres. The sphere collides much slower than the aggregate, which results in reduction of sizes of particles maintaining spherical shape. Light scattering of Ar ion laser and TEM observation using a local sampling device were used to confirm the above effects. When the $CO_2$ laser was irradiated at low position from the burner surface, particle generation due to gas absorption of laser beam occurred and thus scattering intensity increased with $CO_2$ laser power. At high irradiation position, scattering intensity decreased with $CO_2$ laser power and TEM image showed a clear mark of evaporation and recondensation of particles for high $CO_2$ laser power. When the laser was irradiated between the above two positions where small aggregates exist, average size of spherical particles obviously decreased to 58% of those without $CO_2$ laser irradiation with the spherical shape. Even for increased carrier gas flow rate by a factor of three, TEM photograph also revealed considerable reduction of particle size.
