  • Two compact Riemannian manifolds are said to be isospectral if the associated Laplace-Beltrami operators have the same eigenvalue spectrum. We describe a method, based on the used of Riemannian submersions, for constructing isospectral manifolds with different local geometry and survey examples constructed through this method.

  • Manifolds with recurrent connections have been studied by many authors, such as Chung, Datta, E.M.Patterson, M.Prvanovitch, Singal, and TAkano, etc (refer to [2] and [3]). Examples of such manifolds are those of recurrent curvature, Ricci-recurrent manifolds, and birecurrent manifolds.

  • The object of the present paper is to study generalized pseudo-projectively symmetric manifolds and Einstein generalized pseudo-projectively symmetric manifolds. Finally, the existence of generalized pseudo-projectively symmetric manifolds have been proved by two non-trivial examples.

  • In [13], we developed a theory of complex Finsler manifolds to investigate the global geometry of complex Finsler manifolds. There we proved a version of Bonnet-Myers' theorem for complex Finsler manifolds with a certain condition on the Finsler metric which is a generalization of the Kahler condition for the Hermitian metric. In this paper, we show that if the holomorphic sectional curvature of M is ${\geq}\;c^2\;>\;0$, then M is simply connected. This is a generalization of the Synge's theorem in the Riemannian geometry and the Tsukamoto's theorem for Kahler manifolds. The main point of the proof lies in how we can circumvent the convex neighborhood theorem in the Riemannian geometry. A second variation formula of arc length for complex Finsler manifolds is also derived.

  • In this paper, our main objective is to introduce the notion of conformal hemi-slant submersions from almost Hermitian manifolds onto Riemannian manifolds as a generalized case of conformal anti-invariant submersions, conformal semi-invariant submersions and conformal slant submersions. We mainly focus on conformal hemi-slant submersions from Kähler manifolds. During this manner, we tend to study and investigate integrability of the distributions which are arisen from the definition of the submersions and the geometry of leaves of such distributions. Moreover, we tend to get necessary and sufficient conditions for these submersions to be totally geodesic for such manifolds. We also provide some quality examples of conformal hemi-slant submersions.

  • We introduce and study quasi hemi-slant submanifolds of almost contact metric manifolds (especially, cosymplectic manifolds) and validate its existence by providing some non-trivial examples. Necessary and sufficient conditions for integrability of distributions, which are involved in the definition of quasi hemi-slant submanifolds of cosymplectic manifolds, are obtained. Also, we investigate the necessary and sufficient conditions for quasi hemi-slant submanifolds of cosymplectic manifolds to be totally geodesic and study the geometry of foliations determined by the distributions.

  • Consider a gradient Einstein-type metric in the setting of K-contact manifolds and (κ, µ)-contact manifolds. First, it is proved that, if a complete K-contact manifold admits a gradient Einstein-type metric, then M is compact, Einstein, Sasakian and isometric to the unit sphere 𝕊2n+1. Next, it is proved that, if a non-Sasakian (κ, µ)-contact manifolds admits a gradient Einstein-type metric, then it is flat in dimension 3, and for higher dimension, M is locally isometric to the product of a Euclidean space 𝔼n+1 and a sphere 𝕊n(4) of constant curvature +4.

  • The object of the present paper is to study of Almost Quasi-Yamabe solitons and gradient almost quasi-Yamabe solitons on an Lorentzian concircular structure manifolds briefly say (LCS)n-manifolds under infinitesimal CL-transformations and obtained sufficient conditions for such solitons to be expanding, steady and shrinking. Also we obtained a necessary and sufficient condition of an almost quasi-Yamabe soliton with respect to the CL-connection to be an almost quasi-Yamabe soliton on (LCS)n-manifolds with respect to Levi-Civita connection. Finally, we construct an example of steady almost quasi-Yamabe soliton on 3-dimensional (LCS)n-manifolds.

  • We establish the existence of $C^1$ stable invariant manifolds for differential equations $u^{\prime}=A(t)u+f(t,u,{\lambda})$ obtained from sufficiently small $C^1$ perturbations of a nonuniform exponential dichotomy. Since any linear equation with nonzero Lyapunov exponents has a nonuniform exponential dichotomy, this is a very general assumption. We also establish the $C^1$ dependence of the stable manifolds on the parameter ${\lambda}$. We emphasize that our results are optimal, in the sense that the invariant manifolds are as regular as the vector field. We use the fiber contraction principle to establish the smoothness of the invariant manifolds. In addition, we can also consider linear perturbations, and thus our results can be readily applied to the robustness problem of nonuniform exponential dichotomies.
