A Study that Target Amount of Standardization by Menu Management Effect on the Job Efficiency (메뉴관리에 따른 조리 표준량 목표가 업무 효율성에 미치는 영향 연구)

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate how menu management effect on job efficiency at a hotel restaurant. Target standardization amount is needed to set for effective menu management to give quality menu toward customers to do that bring effective job efficiency. The survey is conducted to employees who are working at hotel restaurant. To verify the hypotheses, set this study up frequency analysis, reliability analysis, factor analysis, and linear regression analysis. The collected questionnaires were analyzed through statistical package SPSS WIN 12.0. Moreover, adjusting regression analysis using multiplying matrix was carried to obtain the results of effectiveness. The results show that menu management is required to apply the target amount of standardization in order to increase the job efficiency. At a menu planning phase, managers are expected to compose menu after having full consultation with employees. During the process, the target standardization amount can play a key role to improve job efficiency. Conclusively, to get effective customer service performance, it is necessary to set the target amount standardization if you are considering a trend and taste of customers who should be kept being adjusted or supplemented in line with a trend.

  • Major developed countries are seriously considering smart factories to increase their manufacturing competitiveness. Smart factory is a customized factory that incorporates ICT in the entire process from product planning to design, distribution and sales. This can reduce production costs and respond flexibly to the consumer market. The smart factory converts physical signals into digital signals, connects machines, parts, factories, manufacturing processes, people, and supply chain partners in the factory to each other, and uses the collected data to enable the smart factory platform to operate intelligently. Enhancing personalized value is the key. Therefore, it can be said that the success or failure of a smart factory depends on whether big data is secured and utilized. Standardized communication and collaboration are required to smoothly acquire big data inside and outside the factory in the smart factory, and the use of big data can be maximized through big data analysis. This study examines big data analysis and standardization in smart factory. Manufacturing innovation by country, smart factory construction framework, smart factory implementation key elements, big data analysis and visualization, etc. will be reviewed first. Through this, we propose services such as big data infrastructure construction process, big data platform components, big data modeling, big data quality management components, big data standardization, and big data implementation consulting that can be suggested when building big data infrastructure in smart factories. It is expected that this proposal can be a guide for building big data infrastructure for companies that want to introduce a smart factory.

  • FMS is recognized as a useful approach to meet with multi-product small-lot-sized production system Large-scaled investment is needed for installing FMS ; full-discussed systematic prefeasibility analysis and preparation study are necessary for successful installation and running the system. Standardization study is one area of the preparation processes ; especially, standardized production strategy is the core in this area. Conceptual framework and case analysis for the standardization process in relation to FMS installation are suggested in this paper. Case analysis is focused in machinary industry.

  • The purpose of this Study is to develope the Role of Statistics in Industrial mass production. The process of mass production will be divided into three steps, that is, Standardization, production and inspection. The Statistics is applied to Specificat-ions, Quality Control and Sampling inspection in these three steps. The applications have developed to Statistical methods based on probability theory. And then, The improved plan is exhibited the point of problems of introducting of spreading of quality control throughout field survey.

  • To achieve designed quality and reliability from R&D to force integration, an establishment of precise and distinct specifications and standards are required. However, the recent process of R&D standardization on defense acquisition system, has brought plenty of corrections on specifications and standards that may cause not only difficulties to production line and retardation to the military forces, but also a degradation of provided weapon systems. Therefore, a technical review should be performed by the developer, the producer, and the client, establishing the standard that include mass production requirements as well as clients' requirements. This paper propose a specified solution on process of R&D standardization, by applying a substantial FCA(Functional Configuration Audit) and PCA(Physical Configuration Audit) which implies participation of related agencies. By the improved PCA, 2,023 corrections on 74 types of QAR(Quality Assurance Requirement)s and 12,715 corrections on drawings are identified.

  • Through the correspondence works with international electrotechnical vocabulary(IEV) in the smart grid field and power information technology field, we analyzed cases for discussion of terms and definitions in the IEV and then proposed an advanced procedure and computing system for standardization of International Electronical Committee(IEC) terminologies. The standardization procedure consists of processes for existing terminology, new terminology and correspondent terminology which have different structures. An example of the standardization work of correspondent terminology is given. The standardization computing system are based on the process for terminology extraction, terminology verification and terminology management which could provide the Wikipedia type terminology search function. In order to prevent that there exist multiple terminologies in IEV, the database search system is needed to be developed. We proposed the 'IEV_Term_Search' program which is the database search system. Terminology standardization of different technical committees(TC) and completion of the IEV to promote cooperation between TC 1 and the TCs must be followed by revision and standardization using the standardization computing system.

  • The purpose of this study is to study the standardization of the core business process in the chemical manufacturing industry and to establish a production information management system for the purpose of establishing the production information management system that can achieve mid -To be applied. The development methodology for the standardization of the chemical manufacturing information system is applied to the production information management system development methodology (PSDM) that was developed and developed by the Agency for Technology and Information Promotion of Small and Medium Enterprises. The standardization target is the system structure, It is a core business process that becomes a skeleton during construction. In this study, the chemical manufacturing SMEs and related professional IT companies who want to build the production information management system can apply the standardized core business process more effectively to build the system more effectively, and provide ease of installation and reliability to the system, In order to maximize the utilization of processes, follow-up education training and maintenance measures are suggested. Applying the results of this study, it is possible to eliminate the unreasonable elements of the production process, improve the quality of production product, and reduce production cost.

A Study on Improvement Plans through the Adequacy Review System of Public Standards for Records Management (기록관리 공공표준의 적정성 검토 체계 고찰을 통한 개선 방안 연구)

  • This study aims to examine the current procedure of the adequacy review system of public standards for records management developed and disseminated by the National Archives of Korea and to explore improvements to utilize them as basic data to solidify the operation of standards. The study identified the shortcomings of the system with examples of international standards and Korean industrial standards. It also analyzed the history of standardization promoted by the National Archives of Korea. The analysis showed that most of them are simple revisions, such as changes of terminology and standard names according to law amendment. The frequency of standardization by standard also showed a significant difference. In addition, it was found that the adequacy review process or results were not disclosed clearly. As such, the study proposes various improvements to solve these problems, namely, improving standardization for the records management system, establishing detailed procedures for deliberation, and establishing evaluation standards for adequacy reviews.

  • There are lack of labour and increase in logistics costs due to rapid change in logistics environments and the demand for logistics. The reality is that over spending on logistics costs are getting worse due to lack of logistics standardization. An example will be excessive logistics costs caused by unsatisfactory use of logistics equipments in wholesale markets. The logistics efficiency is falling due to delays in using logistics equipments and standardization. Therefore, there needs standardization of logistics functions and unit of handling in each stage from packing, unloading, storage, transporting, logistics information and needs logistics standardization on equipments, machineries used for the above. Standard unified with standardization is called specification and if standardization is applied broadly in manufacturing or processing, inspection than each process in terms of production can be managed rationally and labour skills will improve and product quality will be evenly maintained and compatability of each part in terms of assembly will be maintained thus materials and labour could be saved thus results in increasing productivity and lowering production costs. Also, if it is applied in industry at state-level then there will be rationalization in consumption in circulation as in purchase of raw materials, sales of products, purchase of products by consumers and contribute in improving compatibility and fair transactions. This paper is aimed to help in first solving factors affecting the most in improving logistic efficiency among unit load system and logistic hollowization, standardizing logistics base, standardizing logistics information. The study conducted surveys on limited companies but hope that in the future the target companies can be divided further into types, industries and conduct more demonstrative analysis.

  • It is needed to search the electronic commerce standardization and to analysis its policies to meet the international situations strategically and forecast the technology surroundings for electronic commerce. This study aims at searching the current state of electronic commerce standardization and analyzing policies on electronic commerce by the driving subject, that is, government and private organization, major countries, and standard classifications of electronic commerce technologies such as e-documents, e-catalog, e-payment, and e-process. The government and private organizations get information for the current state and policies for standardization on electronic commerce and put them practical use to make policies and strategy applications.
