자기공명영상 검사에서 외국인 환자를 위한 자동음성 시스템 개발 (Development of Automatic Voice System for Foreign Patients in Testing of Magnetic Resonance Imaging)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 자기공명영상을 이용하여 외국인 환자를 검사할 때 언어의 소통을 위하여 자동음성시스템을 개발하고자 하였다. 자동음성을 위해 사용된 문장은 병원에서 자주 사용하고 있는 12개의 문장과 5개의 외국어를 선택하였다. 이러한 번역된 문장은 Oddcast's website로 부터 무료로 재공 되며 Wav 파일로서 각 언어 특징에 소리로 기록하게 된다. 기록된 오디오 파일은 Mobile phone 환경에서 적용되는 PHP 프로그램을 사용하여 MS-파워포인트(extension; ppsx) 와 Web-enabled system 형태로 재생하게 된다. 음성 시스템 개발은 방사선사에게 언어 소통의 어려움에 관하여 스트레스를 해소될 것이며, 다양한 언어로 설계된 자동음성시스템은 외국인 환자를 검사 할 때 환자에게 진단적 정보를 증가시킬 것이다. 본 연구를 위해 개발된 음성 시스템은 한국의 방사선사와 외국인 환자 사이에서 검사의 이해를 증가시킬 수 있기 때문에 임상실무에서 더욱더 유용하게 이용될 것이라고 기대된다.

  • Background: This was a study to analyze Sanghanron through network theory, as the first attempt to construct network models for systems biomedicine in traditional Korean medicine. For this purpose, we investigated the network structure with priority given to two-node connections between symptoms and herbs of Taeyangbyung compilation in Sanghanron. Purpose: We had three goals in carrying out this study. First, to establish the minimum clinical grouping data sets for symptoms and herbs of Taeyangbyung compilation in Sanghanron. Second, to make index files for the obtained data sets. Third, to generate a network structure for systems biomedicine in this part, and analyze its relationship. Methods: Using MS office Excel and Netminer software, we constructed the minimum clinical grouping data sets and the network for systems biomedicine about symptoms and herbs of Taeyangbyung compilation in Sanghanron, and analyzed its relationship. Results: We established the minimum clinical grouping data sets for symptoms and herbs of Taeyangbyung compilation in Sanghanron, using MS Excel. We constructed a network to structurize our database through two-node connections of Netminer program, and analyzed its relationships. Conclusions: Further research on network model for systems biomedicine between symptoms and herbs for three Yang and three Um(Taeyang, Soyang, Yangmyung, Taeum, Soum, Gualum) disease compilation is necessary.

  • Background: This is a study for building up the database foundation and about graphic structures of Ontology Network systems of Taeyangbyung compilation in Sanghannon in Traditonal Korean Medicine.   • 창의력이나 문제해결력과 같은 고차원적인 사고 능력은 주어진 문제의 정 오답만으로는 진단이 어려우며, 진단을 위해서는 교수자가 학습자의 문제 해결 과정을 지켜보거나 해결 과정에 대한 학습자의 보고 과정이 요구된다. 더구나 교수자의 학습자에 대한 관찰이 불가능한 온라인 학습이나 버추얼 클래스와 같은 환경에서는 학습자의 문제 해결 과정을 평가하거나 학습자 스스로 자신의 부족한 부분을 진단하는 것은 더욱 어려워진다. 이러한 문제를 해결하는 최선의 방법은 학습자가 문제를 해결하는 동안을 추적하여 그 과정을 보고해 주는 것이라 할 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 MS 오피스군의 소프트웨어를 활용하여 주어진 문제를 해결하는 동안 학습자의 작업 내역을 트레이싱하여 최종적으로 학습자에게 자신의 부족한 부분을 진단해 주고 자신의 능숙도와 소프트웨어를 응용하여 주어진 문제를 해결하는 과정에 대한 평가를 해주는 모듈을 개발하였으며, 본 진단 모듈의 효용성 평가를 위하여 실제 MOS 시험을 준비하는 학습자 81명에 대한 적용 및 만족도 조사를 통하여 통계적으로도 유의미한 효과가 있음을 확인하였다.

Determination of Ceftiofur Residues by Simple Solid Phase Extraction Coupled with Liquid Chromatography-Tandem Mass Spectrometry in Eel, Flatfish, and Shrimp

  • The aim of this study was conducted to develop an analytical method to determine the concentration of ceftiofur residue in eel, flatfish, and shrimp. For derivatization and extraction, the sample was hydrolyzed with dithioerythritol to produce desfuroylceftiofur, which was then derivatized by iodoacetamide to obtain desfuroylceftiofur acetamide. For purification, the process of solid phase extraction (Oasis HLB) was used. The target analytes were confirmed and quantified in $C_{18}$ column using liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry with 0.1% formic acid in water (A) and 0.1% formic acid in acetonitrile (B) as the mobile phase. The linearity of the standard calibration curve was confirmed by a correlation coefficient, $r^2>0.99$. The limit of quantification for ceftiofur was 0.002 mg/kg; the accuracy (expressed as the average recoveries) was 80.6-105%; the precision (expressed as the coefficient of variation) was below 6.3% at 0.015, 0.03, and 0.06 mg/kg. The validated method demonstrated high accuracy and acceptable sensitivity to meet the Codex guideline requirements. The developed method was tested using market samples. As a results, ceftiofur was detected in one sample. Therefore, it can be applied to the analysis of ceftiofur residues in fishery products.

FDM 3D프린터 소재에서 방출될 수 있는 휘발성유기화합물 평가 (Evaluation for Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) Emitted from Fused Deposition Modeling (FDM) 3D Printing Filaments)

  • Objectives: Fused deposition modeling (FDM) 3D printer which is one of the material extrusion (MEX) technologies is an additive manufacturing (AM) process. 3D printers have been distributed widely in Korea, particularly in school and office, even at home. Several studies have shown that nanoparticles and volatile organic compounds (VOCs) were emitted from an FDM 3D printing process. The objective of this study was to identify types of chemicals possibly emitted from FDM 3D printing materials such as PLA (polylactic acid), ABS (acrylonitrile butadiene styrene), nylon, PETG (polyethylene terephthalate glycol), PVA (polyvinyl alcohol), PC (polycarbonate) filaments. Methods: 19 FDM 3D printing filaments which have been distributed in Korea were selected and analyzed VOCs emitted of 3D printing materials by headspace gas chromatography mass spectrometry (headspace GC-MS). Subsamples were put into a vial and heated up to 200℃ (500 rpm) during 20 minutes before analyzing FDM 3D printing filaments. Results: In the case of PLA filament, lactide and methyl methacrylate, the monomer components of one, were detected, and the volume ratio ranged 27~93%, 0.5~37% respectively. In the case of ABS filaments, styrene (50.5~59.1%), the monomer components of one, was detected. Several VOCs among acetaldehyde, toluene, ethylbenzene, xylene, etc were detected from each FDM 3D printing filaments. Conclusions: Several VOCs, semi-VOCs were emitted from FDM 3D printing filaments in this study and previous studies. Users were possibly exposed to ones so that we strongly believe that we recommend to install the ventilation system such as a local exhaust ventilation (LEV) when they operate the FDM 3D printers in a workplace.

HS-SPME-GC/MS에 의한 지표수에서 ng/L 농도 수준의 37개 휘발성유기화합물의 동시 분석 (Simultaneous determination of 37 volatile organic compounds at ng/L concentration level in surface water by HS-SPME-GC/MS)

  • HS-SPME GC-MS에 의한 지표수 중에 37개 휘발성유기물질을 동시에 분석하는 방법을 개발하였다. 이 방법은 물 중 휘발성유기물질을 헤드스페이스 vial에서 $40 ^{\circ}C$에서 30분간 가열 85 ${\mu}m$ carboxen-polydimethylsiloxane에 흡착시키는 방법이다. 4.0 mL의 물 시료를 사용하여 확립한 조건하에서 정량한계는 4.1-96 ng/L의 범위를 나타냈고 이러한 검출한계는 US EPA 또는 독일에서 확립한 준거치의 1/10 이하 값을 만족시켰으며 0.05 ${\mu}g/L$와 0.50 ${\mu}g/L$의 농도에서 정밀도는 15% 이내를 보였다. 이 정량한계는 준거치를 결정하기 위한 조사연구에서 요구하는 최소 감도이다. 확립한 방법을 사용하여 금강물 16개 시료를 분석한 결과 16개 휘발성유기화합물이 검출되었으며 측정값은 US EPA 또는 독일에서 확립한 준거치 이하의 값을 보였다.

제주 용암해수를 이용한 희귀식물 자란(Bletilla striata)의 기내배양 (In vitro culture of rare plant Bletilla striata using Jeju magma seawater)

  • 본 연구에서는 용암해수가 지닌 독특한 미네랄 구성을 바탕으로 자란의 생육에 적합한 농도를 규명하기 위해 실험을 수행하였다. 자란의 기내배양용 고체배지구성을 위해 30 g/L sucrose와 3.0과 8.0 g/L의 gelrite 및 plant agar를 동일하게 처리한 MS 배지와 RO(Reverse Osmosis) 탈염수, ED(Electrodialsis) 탈염수 배지를 각각 제조하여 배지경도를 측정한 결과, plant agar가 첨가된 MS, RO, 및 ED 배지의 경도는 각각 60,000, 40,000 및 $38,000g/cm^2$의 경도가 측정되었다. 하지만 gelrite가 첨가된 배지는 MS를 제외한 RO, ED배지는 $2,000g/cm^2$ 내외의 경도를 보였다. 제조된 배지에서 식물체의 생육을 확인한 결과, RO 탈염수 0%에서는 88%, RO 50%에서는 57%, RO 100%에서는 31%의 생존율을 보였다. 하지만 잎 길이, 엽폭은 모두 RO 탈염수 100%에서 높았다. ED배지는 ED 100%를 제외한 배지에서 모두 양호한 생장을 보였다. 엽록소 함량 분석을 통한 생리적 건전도를 측정한 결과, 대조구에서는 총엽록소 함량이 66.3 ug/ml인데 비해 RO 10%, RO 50%, RO 100%, ED 10%, ED 50%, ED 100%에서는 각각 77.3, 69.3, 76.4, 79.0, 75.7, 74.4 ug/ml로 모두 대조구보다 높은 총엽록소 함량을 나타냈다. 또한 용암해수 내 유용성분의 식물체내로의 축적은 스토론튬, 바나듐, 셀레늄 등이 원활하게 이루어짐을 확인한 바, 용암해수를 이용한 식물조직배양용 배지로의 산업적 이용가치가 높을 것으로 보이고 더 나아가 용암해수가 원예작물뿐만 아니라 유용성분 함유 약용작물의 생산에도 충분히 활용 가능할 것으로 사료된다.

웹기반의 농촌정주환경진단 정보시스템 개발 (Development of a Web-based Information System for Rural Settlement Environment Diagnosis)

  • The purpose of this paper is to develop a web-based information system for rural settlement environment diagnosis which is useful to apply the village based evaluation for new rural development projects. To achieve this purpose, this study performed : 1) analyzing the business process in the field of rural settlement environment diagnosis, 2) designing the data flow diagram and the database based on settlement environment diagnostic indices(SEDI), and 3) developing the system using APM (Apache, PHP, and MySQL) of web-system development environment. The developed system was applied to the study rural villages for testing of efficient and logical working. Users of the system, such as, researchers, decision makers, and rural residents, can input directly the village data to diagnose through a file format of Excel in MS Office. Futhermore, they can analyze the visual results with graphic and graph types, simultaneously. From the results of this study, it showed that the developed system enables decision-makers not only to assist the planning process of the rural village development project, but also to improve the level of information technology in the research and planning field concerning with rural development.

황색종 잎담배의 후숙과정 중 정유성분의 변화 (Changes of Volatile Compounds in Flue-cured Leaf Tobacco during Aging)

  • This study was carried out to investigate the changes of essential oils in flue-cured leaf tobacco during aging for 21 months. The threshed leaf tobacco(BlO) produced in 2002 crop year was aged for 21 months in the warehouse of Oc-Cheon Leaf Tobacco Processing Factory. The leaf tobacco were sampled at three month intervals for analysis of volatile compounds. Volatile compounds were identified by GC/MS and comparison of gas chromatographic retention time with those of the authentic standard. The total of 75 compounds from the steam volatile concentrate of the flue-cured leaf tobacco were identified; they were 15 hydrocarbons, 12 alcohols, 3 aldehydes, 18 ketones, 7 esters, 10 acids, 3 phenols, 4 furans, 2 pyrrols and 1 pyridine. The major components of essential oil were neophytadiene, solanone, megastigmatrienone and phytol. After a aging period of 21 months, most of volatile compounds showed a gradual increasing tendency.
