  • Lunar Navigation Satellite System refers to a constellation of satellite providing PNT services on the moon. LNSS consists of main satellite and navigation satellites. Navigation satellites orbiting around the moon and a main satellite moves the area between the moon and the L2 point. The navigation satellite performs the same role as the Earth's GNSS satellite, and the main satellite communicates with the Earth for time synchronization. Due to the effect of the non-uniform shape of the moon, it is necessary to focus on the influence of the lunar gravitational field when designing the orbit simulation for navigation satellite. Since the main satellite is farther away from the moon than the navigation satellite, both the earth's gravity and the moon's gravity must be considered simultaneously when designing the orbit simulation for main satellite. Therefore, the main satellite orbit simulation must be designed through the three-body problem between the Earth, the moon, and the main satellite. In this paper, the orbit simulation tool for main satellite and navigation satellite required for LNSS was designed. The orbit simulation considers the environment characteristics of the moon. As a result of comparing long-term data (180 days) with the commercial program GMAT, it was confirmed that there was an error of about 1 m.

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the actual conditions of the use of them and the moves to strengthen home economics resources for school lifelong education for parents and local residents. This study conducted a systematic random sampling. Questionnaires were distributed to home economics teachers from 285 middle schools, 123 high schools, and 130 of them were sampled as the subjects of this study. The results of this study were as follows. First, home economics teachers were active participating school lifelong educational program. But according to the result of research on the actual condition, the proportion of taking part in it was low. More than half of home economics teachers who took part in program's lecturer were in charge of computer courses. So they didn't show their ability as expert. Also they were in charge of several works than roll of lecturers. It was mentioned too great a burden. There is little in-service training for meeting specialization for school lifelong education. They wanted to take part of lecturers of program and preferred hours of being over class. More than half of them had intended to obtain a lifelong educator's license. The part of elective courses for obtaining a lifelong educator's license is similar to home economics educational contents. So, they have an advantage of obtaining it. Second, one-fifth of school that gave school life education carried out program of related home economics. Mostly they had mothers of students-oriented programs on artistic and leisure. But this is that home economics teachers mentioned less important teaching at society in the future. They importantly mentioned program on children's education in now and the future. Parents of students and local residents also extremely wanted it. For differentiated school life education, quality of programs is important greatly. Third, the actual condition of practical room relating home economics is only practice to cook mostly. So they are reluctant to be open it because of being responsible for the results from using there. It is necessary to ameliorate there's facilities and to increase there's area. Fourth, home economics teachers want to improve their specialization through in-service training, to develop and diffuse programs of superior quality, and to get extra pay for overtime from the government.

  • The engineering knowledge and technology is core driving forces of continuous growth in knowledge based society. Companies, the government, and universities are the subjects of an innovation and the cooperation between them is very important. Nowadays, the main purpose of industry-university cooperation moves to train experts and develop a new product. A shift of the paradigm came from the change of recognition that the final consumers of the program are companies and the universities are supporters of the program. In this paper, we investigate the purpose, participation and satisfaction of companies to industry-academy technology cooperation through empirical studies. The need to expert training, product development and process development makes companies participate industry-academy technology cooperation and companies have different purpose of participation by the business type. Companies often feel that expert training, subsidiary purpose of industry-academy technology cooperation, is more important than product development or process development. This result is caused by the real world environment of small and mid-size companies, lacking of technology experts. The participation of companies to each technology cooperation program (technology transfer, joint technology development, consigned technology development, technology consulting, co-op. lab.) is also different by business type. The companies' satisfaction with the purpose of process development is relatively higher than that with the purpose of product development and companies show also different satisfaction value by business type and participating program. The results of this study can give a contribution to the design of demand oriented industry-academy technology cooperation model.

  • Using high-resolution numerical simulations, we investigate the formation of gaseous substructures and mass inflow rates in barred spiral galaxies in the presence of both bar and spiral potentials. The gaseous medium is assumed to be infinitesimally-thin, isothermal, unmagnetized, and non-self-gravitating. To consider various galactic situations, we vary the pattern speed and strength of spiral arms as well as the black hole mass. We find that spiral arms with pattern speed smaller than that of the bar remove angular momentum from the gas outside corotation which transports to the bar region, making the dust lanes strong and live long. When the arm pattern speed is identical to that of the bar, on the other hand, the gas outside corotation gains angular momentum and thus moves outward, without affecting the bar region. Overall gaseous morphologies in simulations match well with observed IR images of barred spiral galaxies such as NGC 1097, when the arms and bar are in phase at the corotation radius. The presence of spiral arms increases the mass inflow rate as well, making it larger than $0.01M_{\odot}/yr$ when MBH is $4{\times}10^7M_{\odot}$, possibly explaining AGN activities in Seyfert galaxies.

  • In the game of Go, the life-and-death problem is a fundamental problem to be definitely overcome when implementing a computer Go program. To solve local Go problems such as life-and-death problems, an important consideration is how to tackle the game tree's huge branching factor and its depth. The basic idea of the experiment conducted in this article is that we modelled the human behavior to get the recognized first moves to kill the surrounded group. In the game of Go, similar life-and-death problems(patterns) often have similar solutions. To categorize similar patterns, we implemented Kohonen Neural Network(KNN) based clustering and found that the experimental result is promising and thus can compete with a pattern matching method, that uses supervised learning with a neural network, for solving life-and-death problems.

  • This paper describes a procedure of generating economic cutter-location(CL) data for the machining of sculptured surfaces on a multi-axis NC milling machine. Measures of economy are the machining time (cutter move distance) and the length of NC tape (number of CL data points). The presented procedure minimizes both the number of CL data and the total distance of cutter moves, for a given cutter (spherical end-mill) size and parameteric cutting direction, while satisfying given tolerance requirements. The procedure has been implemented in FORTRAN for a smooth composite Bezier surface. The maximum allowable cutter size is calculated by the program so that a user can choose a cutter size. CL data can be generated in both parametric directions u and v. Experimental results show that there are significant differences between the parametric directions, and that cutter size should be as large as possible in order to minimize the cutting time and NC tape length.

  • The conventional computing is a centralizing system, but it has been gradually going to develop ubiquitous computing which moves roles away from the main. The Community Computing, a new paradigm, is proposed to implement environment of ubiquitous computing. In this environment, it is important to accept the user demand. Hence in this paper recognizes pattern of user's activity statistically and proposes a method of pattern estimation in community computing. In addition, user's activity varies with time and the activity has the priority We reflect these. Also, we improve accuracy of the method through Knowledge Base organization and the feedback system. We make program using Microsoft Visual C++ for evaluating performance of proposed method, then simulate it. We can confirm it from the experiment result that using proposal method is better in environment of community computing.

  • To apply induction hardening method to a press die having 3-D free surface, the induction hardening tool moves on a press die above 1~2mm gap with constant velocity. Since the induction hardening process requires its own hardening path for each die, a direct teaching method which generates working path directly guided by operators is more suitable than an offline method using CAD/CAM data. The direct teaching apparatus in this work includes a teaching tool with a force/torque sensor and data processing computer to finally generate robot's Induction hardening program , in direct teaching operation, an operator teaches working path maintaining contact with surface of press die by holding...
