  • Recently, the evolution in production techniques (e.g. high-speed milling) and the complex shapes involved in modem production design has been increasingly popular. The key to the achievement is a drastic improvement of the dynamic behavior of the machine tool axes used in production machinery. The more complex these tool paths the higher the speed and acceleration requirements. But it is very difficult to reach the target for high speed machine tool because of the limitations of servo system and motion control system. However the direct drive design of machine tool axes, which is based on linear motors and which recently appeared on the market, is a viable candidate to meet the ever increasing demands, because of these advantages such as no backlash, less friction, more mechanical simplicity and very higher acceleration and velocity comparing to the traditional system. This paper focused on the performance tests of the high speed horizontal machine tool based on linear motor. Especially, dynamic characteristics were investigated through circular test and circular form machining test is carried out considering many important parameter. Therefore these several experiments is used to be evaluated the model for prediction of circular motion error and circular machined error.

CNC 선반가공(旋盤加工)에서 절삭조건(切削條件)에 따른 알루미늄의 표면(表面)거칠기 변화(變化) (The Surface Roughness of Aluminium Material according to Cutting Conditions in the CNC Lathe Working)

  • The machine tool which operates by hand is replacing by CNC machine tool to improve the quality of the product and the productivity in modem mechanic industry. The precision of machine part is influenced greatly the surface roughness by cutting condition of machine tool. So this study was performed to examine the aluminium surface roughness of section according to change of strength rating, nose radius, cutting speed, using live center. The results of this study are as follows; 1. In the case of 56mm diameter of test piece(length is below triple of diameter), whether establish the live center or not, doesn't influence to the surface roughness, and it is possible to make product without the live center. 2. The average surface roughness of 42mm diameter(length is quadruple of diameter) is similar to the 56mm diameter in the cutting condition of nose radius 0.8mm and cutting speed 140mm/min, but there are increases and differences in other cutting conditions. 3. In the case of test piece length more 70m/min(140m/mm) and nose radius improved greatly using the live center. 4. In the case of test piece length is quintuple of diameter, the nose radius must choose big tool and increase the cutting speed in preference live center establishment availability to improve that is surface roughness. Conclusively, if aluminum test piece length is fewer than triple of diameter, can process without establishing live center. If aluminum test piece length is more than quintuple of diameter, cutting conditions to improve surface roughness are (1) cutting speed (2) nose radius (3) whether the live center uses or not.

다중대역 MIMO 안테나의 차량탑재 필드테스트 결과 분석 (Analysis of Throughput Field Test Data Acquired Using Vehicle Mounted Multi-Band MIMO Antenna)

  • 본 논문에서는 차량 LTE 통신용 다중대역 MIMO 안테나를 설계하고, 이를 차량에 부착하여 수행한 데이터 전송률 필드테스트 측정 결과에 대한 분석을 다루고 있다. 필드테스트에 이용된 안테나는 다중대역 공진 특성 확보를 위해 다수의 스터브를 포함한 평판 구조로 LTE(0.8~0.9 GHz, 1.7~2.2 GHz), WiFi(2.4~2.48 GHz) 및 WAVE(5.8~5.9 GHz) 주파수 대역에서 동작하도록 설계하였다. 안테나 시작품을 차량의 대시보드 및 루프에 설치하고, 실험용 LTE 모뎀에 연결하여 다양한 실전파 환경에서의 데이터 전송률(throughput), 신호 대 잡음 간섭비(SINR), 참조 신호 수신 품질(RSRQ) 등을 측정하고 분석하였다. 이를 바탕으로 전계 강도에 따른 SINR과 데이터 전송률 사이의 관계를 확인하였다.

상용 모뎀 제어를 통한 수중 CSMA/CA 프로토콜 시험 (Underwater Experiment on CSMA/CA Protocol Using Commercial Modems)

  • 본 논문에서는 수중음향센서네트워크의 수중 통신 프로토콜 시험을 위해 구축한 해상시험환경을 소개하고 상용 모뎀을 이용하여 실시한 및 매체접속제어기법(Medium Access Control: MAC)의 시험결과를 제시한다. 본 시험에서는 패킷 충돌을 회피하기 위해 기존 지상환경에서 많이 사용되는 반송파감지기반의 충돌회피기법(Carrier Sense Multiple Access/Collision Avoidance: CSMA/CA)을 사용하였으며 수중 통신 프로토콜로서의 가용성을 검증하였다. 시험에 사용된 네트워크 노드는 Benthos사의 상용 수중 모뎀과 ATmega2560 제어보드를 이용하여 구성하였다. 시험의 체계적 관리와 시험과정 관찰을 용이하게 하기 위해 각 노드가 GPS신호를 수신하여 자신의 위치를 파악할 수 있도록 하였으며 라디오주파수(Radio Frequency: RF) 인터페이스를 통해 위치정보 및 수중채널을 통해 송수신되는 패킷의 정보를 지상으로 보고할 수 있도록 했다. CSMA/CA 프로토콜을 수중환경에 적용하기 위해 4-way 핸드셰이킹동작에 사용되는 네 종류의 제어패킷 RTS(Request To Send), CTS(Clear to Send), DATA, ACK(Acknowledgement)을 수중환경에 맞게 설계했다. 시험을 통해 CSMA/CA 프로토콜의 실제 수중환경에서의 가용성을 검증할 수 있었다.

FORT : 파일 시스템 강인성 테스트 프레임 워크 (Framework of File System Robustness Test)

  • 현대 저장장치는 점차 소형화, 대용량화 되어감에 따라 디스크의 집적도는 크게 증가되어지고 있어 물리적인 오류가 발생하면 많은 디지털 정보가 소실 될 수 있다. 따라서 이에 대한 대처의 필요성이 점차 증가되어 본 논문에서는 파일시스템이 물리적인 오류에 대한 강인성과 무결성을 보장하고 있는지를 검증하는 테스트 프레임 워크를 제안하였다. 이와 같은 테스트 프레임워크를 위해 디스크 상에 실제 베드섹터를 만들 수 있는 도구 및 저장장치에서 정의하고 있는 물리적인 오류를 모두 발생시킬 수 있는 도구를 각각 개발하였고, 파일시스템에서 저장장치에 읽기/쓰기 동작이 수행되는 상황을 즉시 모니터링 할 수 있는 도구를 추가 개발하여 FORT라는 이름의 파일시스템 강인성을 검증하는 테스트 프레임 워크를 최종적으로 구성하였다. FORT를 이용해서 신뢰성 및 견고성을 위주로 개발된 EXT3파일시스템을 대상으로 강인성의 수준을 나타낼 수 있는 분석표를 작성하였으며, 이를 분석하였다. 또한 파일시스템과 디바이스 드라이버 영역의 계층화된 구조를 융합할 수 있는 도구를 개발하여 획기적인 지능형 시스템으로 발전할 수 있는 방향을 제시하였다.

구강내하악지수직시상골절단수술 전후 전류역치검사(CPT)를 이용한 지각신경의 변화에 대한 연구 (Evaluation of Sensory Nerve Function Before and after Intraoral Vertico-Sagittal Ramus Osteotomy Using Current Perception Threshold(CPT) Test)

  • The design of osteotomy plane in orthognathic surgery has been developed to diminish the nerve injury. Intraoral Vertico-Sagittal Ramus Osteotomy (IVSRO) is the one of the best way to minimize untoward results, which is designed not to expose the lingula. We evaluated the nerve damage before and after with current perception threshold (CPT) test which is modem and numerically expressible way of nerve damages. Sixty patients underwent IVSRO since 1998 were evaluated. They were divided into 2 groups; one group underwent IVSRO only, and the other underwent IVSRO plus genioplasty. The both groups were evaluated with CPT test 1 week before surgery, and 1, 3 and 6 months after surgery. The CPT test was performed on A-beta, A-delta and C fiber respectively. 111e result showed that the recovery of sensory function of damaged nerve fibers was observed at the period of three to six months after surgery. There was no impairment of nerve function after only the IVSRO . But there were sensory disturbances in cases of additional genioplasty group. We thought that one of major factors on nerve damages were exposure of nerve and traction injury during genioplasty.

HSDPA를 이용한 무인항공기 항법 모니터링용 Peer-to-Peer 통신 시스템 구현 연구 (The Study of the Peer-to-Peer Communication System for a UAV Navigational Monitoring Using a HSDPA)

  • 본 논문은 상용 HSDPA(High Speed Downlink Packet Access)이동통신 모뎀을 이용한 무인항공기 항법 모니터링용 Peer-to-Peer 통신시스템 구현에 대하여 연구 하였다. 본 시스템은 통신 중계용 서버, 탑재통신 장비 및 다수의 모니터링 장치로 구성되며, 상용 HSDPA 모뎀을 이용하여 무인항공기 항법정보를 서버를 통하여 다수의 모니터링 장치로 실시간 전송한다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 시스템에서 발생할 수 있는 현상들을 관찰 하고자 지상실험 및 비행실험을 통해 데이터를 확보 하였다. 실험 결과, 통신환경에 따라 탑재통신장치와 모니터링 장치 사이의 지연시간이 평균 약 300msec 가량 측정 되었으며, 탑재통신장치와 서버간의 데이터의 체증(congestion) 및 패킷 손실이 발생하였지만, 차량을 이용한 고속의 장거리 이동 테스트와 무인기 비행에 의한 고도 테스트를 통하여 무인기 항법 모니터링 시스템 구현이 가능함을 확인 하였다.

직장여성의 의복소비가치에 따른 패션트렌드선호경향 (Fashion Trend Preferences According to Clothing Consumption Values - Focusing on Career Women -)

  • This research demonstrates clothing consumption values, fashion preferences of career women from the early 1920s to late 1930s. And having thorough understanding of values and preferences, allows us to establish marketing strategies for clothing companies. The main purpose of this study is (1) to formalize consumer group based upon the clothing consumption values, (2) to find for characteristics of consumer depending on classification of consumption value in clothing, (3) to understand the preferences of career women about fashion trends. Analyzing data was performed 292 copies, resulting factor analysis, Cluster analysis, X-test, Anova, Tukey test, t-test, frequency analysis, and reliability analysis. This paper showed 7 distinctive characteristics of career women about clothing consumption value. These characteristics can be listed as 1) value of brand image, 2) value of self-expression, 3) functional values, 4) epistemic values, 5) coordination values, 6) social values 7) psychological values. Importantly, brand image value became most significant aspects among 7 factors. Analyzing consumers based upon stated 7 factors, it was found that they are segregated into 4 groups; Self-expressive Group, Psychological Stability Group, Functional Group, Social Group. Secondly, for fashion trend preferences, self-expressive group, psychological stability group, and functional group favored Romantic Feminine Style respectively. Social Group showed preference in Nu-Basic'. The reason for such trend dealt with fabric materials and colors. Finally examining population statistics, younger generations showed more preferences in Nu-Basic', and consumers from ages of 26 to 28, 32 to 34 showed preferences in Romantic Feminine' regardless of their household income, clothing related expenditures, jobs, and education level. On the other hand, 'Modem Classic' was popular among college graduates and 'Paradise' was somewhat less popular among all ages except from ages of 32 to 34, consumers consumption 300,000Won to 400,000Won on clothing related expenditures. And 'Energy' seemed to attract more highly educated females, who had more than masters in degrees with over 300,000 to 400,000Won for clothing related expenditures.

토털 이미지에 관한 연구 - 매너를 중심으로 - (A Study on Total Image - Focus on Manner -)

  • Total image consists of body analysis, fashion coordination, and manners. This stydt will be utilized to develop a clinic program using the concept of total image, with a focus on manners, which is important in the modem age. The manners was examined m the following categories; the importance of manners, level of manners, he order of manners sents felt important, and contents of manners the subjects deemed necessary. The research was conducted using 400 male and female college students living In the Daejeon area. The data were processed statistically using the SPSS package, and administered the frequency and percentages, andthe $x^2-test$. Results are as follows. Both male and female students acknowledged manners as a significant factor in forming the total image, and they possessed a medium level of manners. College students felt the importance of manners in the following order: everyday life manners, facing manners, telephone manners, and fashion coordination manners. There was a difference between male and female students in the contents of manners. Whereas manners the subjects deemed necessary for male students were facing manners(name use, introduction, handshaking, card exchange), everyday life manners(drinking, moking), those for female students were telephone manners, facing manners(greeting, expression), everyday life manners(individual life, eating, visiting), fashion coordination manners(special occasions, interviews. invitations, MT).

Low energy ultrasonic single beacon localization for testing of scaled model vehicle

  • Tracking the location (position) of a surface or underwater marine vehicle is important as part of guidance and navigation. While the Global Positioning System (GPS) works well in an open sea environment but its use is limited whenever testing scaled-down models of such vehicles in the laboratory environment. This paper presents the design, development and implementation of a low energy ultrasonic augmented single beacon-based localization technique suitable for such requirements. The strategy consists of applying Extended Kalman Filter (EKF) to achieve location tracking from basic dynamic distance measurements of the moving model from a fixed beacon, while on-board motion sensor measures heading angle and velocity. Iterative application of the Extended Kalman Filter yields x and y co-ordinate positions of the moving model. Tests performed on a free-running ship model in a wave basin facility of dimension 30 m by 30 m by 3 m water depth validate the proposed model. The test results show quick convergence with an error of few centimeters in the estimated position of the ship model. The proposed technique has application in the real field scenario by replacing the ultrasonic sensor with industrial grade long range acoustic modem. As compared with the existing systems such as LBL, SBL, USBL and others localization techniques, the proposed technique can save deployment cost and also cut the cost on number of acoustic modems involved.
