The participants of this study were 141 childcare teachers. An independent samples t-test, Pearson's productive correlation, and step-wise multiple regression were employed to analyze the data. The results are as follows: First, Depending on the MBTI psychological preferences trends in childcare teachers, there were differences in self-efficacy. Second, personality type Sensing(S) was positively correlated with preference for easy tasks. Personality type Thinking(T) was negatively correlated with behavioral education belief, and was positively correlated with interactional education belief, self-regulated efficacy and total score of self-efficacy. Personality type Judging(J) was positively correlated with interactional/maturational education belief and self-regulated efficacy. Third, interactional education belief and MBTI psychological preferences of childcare teachers had asignificant influence on self-efficacy.

This study is preliminary and qualitative research to find out the possibility of using children's architectural work as projective test tools. The features of 21 works from the activity of built-environment education for children was analyzed and compared with MBTI psychological preference types. The key results are as follows: 1) Observation and communication was required to understand and analyze children's architectural works. 2) The results of children's work appeared in various ways, and were classified as indicators according to composition, shape, expression, program, circulation. These indicators also showed the independence of personal expression types regardless of age or gender. 3) The comparison between architectural expressions and MBTI preference types revealed a significant relationship between the indicators. The relationship only appeared in certain indicator pairs. Therefore, it can be said that the built-environment education could be used as a projection test tool to understand the psychological preferences of children. In conclusion, the meanings and limitations of this study and the possibility of future researches were discussed.
This study aimed to identify the relationship between MBTI personality types and parent-child relationships among the juvenile delinquents non-delinquent adolescents. From the analyses of empirical data, the following tendencies were found. First, delinquent juveniles are more likely to be classified to be such MBTI types as "Extroverted," "Sensing," "Thinking," and "Judging" than non-delinquent juveniles. Second, contrary to popular belief, the juvenile delinquent group was fecund to have more positive attitudes toward their relationship with their parents than the non-delinquent juvenile group. Third, for both the non-delinquent juveniles and the delinquent juveniles, "I" and "P" preferences were related with a positive perception of the relationship with their parents. Fourth, "EJ," as a psychological temperament type, was related with a Positive relationship with parents for both groups. Fifth, the psychological function types were not significantly related with the relationship with parents. Sixth, "EP" and "IP," as psychological attitudes types, were related significantly with a positive relationship with parents. Seventh, the juveniles classified as "ESTJ" had good relationships with parents, whereas "ISTP" types, on the other hand, tended to show the most negative attitudes toward their relationship with parents. The most interesting result of this study was the finding that the "P (perceiving)" types in the non-delinquent juveniles group as well as in the juvenile delinquents group tend to have negative attitudes toward their parents.
Most of the software development is determined by the hard skills of project participants and capacity management and operations. However, failure of the current software development is very high. Since the development of the exploration of human psychology continues, the study that there is an association between the preferences of personality and work preference has been actively conducted. It is found out that there is a relationship of preferences in MBTI, the test tool of psychological typology, and those for the work of the ICT engineers tuned to the software development cycle. By using the information on the soft skills associated with software development for the psychological typology, it can be understood the preference of the software development process. In this paper, we develop a program for software development process to allow personality type to be classified with using the soft skills to find ways to improve education and collaboration capabilities of ICT engineers.
Objective: The goal of this study was to investigate personality preferences of medical students and to examine the relationship between personality profiles and their satisfaction with major and student life. Methods : The MBTI (Myers-Briggs Type Indicator), which measures personality preferences, was administered by medical students (n = 94) who began to qualify from the Yonsei University College of Medicine in 2007. The resulting personality profiles of the medical students were correlated with scores of the satisfaction with major and student life Results: First, there were more preference types of Introversion(61.71%), Sensing(67.66%), Thinking(73.41%) and Judging(61.71%) than Extraversion (38.29%), Intuition (22.34%), Feeling (26.59%) and Perception(38.29%), Most medical students are personality type ISTJ(24.21%), followed by ESTJ(17.02%), Second, students with the preference for Extraversion and Intuition were more satisfied with their major and student life. Third, the preference for Judging showed higher scores in the satisfaction with major. Conclusions: This study might give implications for the psychological wellbeing and successful studying of medical students.

Objectives: To examine the medical effectiveness of meditation programs ($\alpha$ version) by psychological types. Methods: MBTI, which was created by Katharine Cook Briggs and Isabel Briggs Myers, was used as the Psychological Type test and to investigate psychological temperament and functions and psychological preferences. Heart rate variability was used to test the effectiveness of meditation by investigating time domains (mean HR, SDNN, PSI) and frequence domain parameters (TP, LF, HF, LF or HF norm, Ln (TP or VLF or LF or HF). Results: 1. The autonomic nervous system became active, and both time domains and frequency domains showed positive responses to meditation in heart rate variability tests, without distinction of Psychological Types. 2. In Psychological Types using sensing over intuition for perception, there were positive responses as well as an increase of the parasympathetic nervous system's activeness to meditation for heart rate variability tests, depending on psychological temperaments and psychological functions. 3. In heart rate variability tests by preferences, there was no difference. Extroversion and Introversion types, Sensing over Intuition Types, Thinking over Feeling Types, Judging over Perception Types had an increase of activeness of the parasympathetic nervous system. Therefore, meditation has a positive physical and psychological relaxing effect. Conclusions: A complex meditation program has a positive effect on overall meditation. Especially in the MBTI test, sensing was superior to intuition when people recognized objects. The Sensing, Thinking and Judging type was more advantageous than Intuition, Feeling and Perception, respectively. In the future, a well-designed control study is needed, to develop a suitable meditation for each personality type.
With the development of cognitive science and environmental psychology, there have been growing researches and discussions on the relationship between the residential design preferences and personality types. MBTI personality types have been earning popular credibility. MBTI means Myers-Briggs Type Indicator. It is based on Carl Jung's theory of psychological type. This study is based on Myers-Briggs theory to explain residential furnishing preference and explores the relationship between the four bi-polar personality types-Extroversion/Introversion, Sensing/Intuition, Thinking/Perceiving and residential furnishing preference. These tests were conducted to two hundred and twelve adult residents who live in Seoul, Korea. These tests were analyzed several significances by Chi-Square with SPSS for windows software. (E) Extroverted residents prefer layouts for interaction with guests. (I) Introverted residents prefer centripetal layout around the bed. (S) Sensing residents prefer practical and functional layouts. (N) Intuitive residents prefer personal and conceiving layouts. (T) Thinking residents prefer for attribute of space. (F) Feeling residents for familiar conversation. (J) Judging residents prefer systematic and complete layouts. (P) Perceiving residents prefer adaptable and flexible layouts. In conclusion, personality types can have a determining role in preference of residential furnishing layouts. This study suggests that residential designers should take into account clients' personality types prefer effective designing and should provide a variety of alternatives reflecting clients' preferences. This will promote clients' pleasantness and satisfaction in dwelling at home.
