  • 본 연구는 MBTI(Myers-Briggs Type Indicator) 성격 유형이 음악 애플리케이션의 사용자 인터페이스(UI) 디자인 취향에 미치는 영향을 분석하였다. 온라인 설문을 통해 535명의 응답을 수집하고, Python을 사용한 ANOVA 분석을 통해 데이터를 처리하였다. 분석 결과, 어떤 MBTI 유형은 따뜻한 색조와 중성 색조의 조합을 선호하는 경향이 있으며, 이는 그들의 예술적 감각과 조화를 중시하는 성향과 일치한다. 반면에 어떤 MBTI 유형은 주로 차가운 색조나 차가운 색조와 중성 색조의 조합을 선호하는 경향을 보이는데, 이는 그들의 실용적이고 체계적인 성향을 반영한다. 또한, 우리는 UI 레이아웃 선호도 또한 성격 유형에 따라 다르다는 것을 발견했다. 어떤 MBTI 유형은 'Mostly Fluid' 모델을 선호하는 경향이 있는데, 이는 그들의 효율적이고 체계적인 성격을 반영한다. 이러한 발견은 음악 애플리케이션의 UI 디자인 시 사용자의 개인적인 성격 유형을 고려하는 것의 중요성을 강조한다.

생리심리검사를 활용한 사상의학 성정의 구성개념 연구 (Study on the Temperament Construct of Sasang Typology with Biopsychological Measures)

  • The purpose of this study was to examine the psychometric structure of Sasang typology with four personality measures and examine the construct validity of Sasang Personality Questionnaire (SPQ). We measured biopsychological traits of 104 university students using SPQ, Temperament and Character Inventory (TCI), NEO-Personality Inventory (NEO-PI) and Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI). The construct validity of SPQ was analyzed with TCI, NEO-PI and MBTI using Pearson's correlation. The temperament features of each Sasang groups were compared with Analysis of Variance and Profile Analysis. The SPQ showed significant correlation with TCI Novelty-Seeking (r=.398), TCI Harm-Avoidance (r=-.333), TCI Reward-Dependence (r=.465), TCI Self-Directedness (r=0.340), NEO-PI Extraversion (r=0.489) and MBTI Extraversion-Introversion (r=-0.509). The SPQ, TCI and NEO-PI revealed significant differences between Sasang constitutional groups. We examined the temperament construct of the Sasang typology and the validity of SPQ with well established western biopsychosocial instruments. This study would contribute to the objective studies on the biopsychosocial mechanism of Sasang medicine.

대학생들의 성격지표에 따른 식행태와 건강생태 (College Students’Dietary and Health Behaviors related to Their Myers-Briggs Type Indicator Personality Preferences)

  • The objective of this study was to evaluate college students’dietary and health behaviors in relation to their Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) personality preferences. Dietary and health behaviors were surveyed for 444 college students who performed the MBTI personality test. Only 6.1% of the subjects regularly had three meals a day, while 27.1% ate breakfast every day. Fifty-six point nine percent of the students took less than 15 minutes to eat a meal and had the habit of eating fast. The number of food groups they ate was, on average, 2.74 and was eaten mainly at dinner. This showed that college students did not eat a large variety of foods. Eighty-two percent of the subjects drank alcoholic beverages, 21.4% smoked, and 69.3% exercised. In addition, 73.9% of them were not satisfied with their body image, but they were not eager to try weight control. There were not many significant differences between Extraversion (E)-Introversion (I), Sensing (S)-iNtuition (N), and Thinking (T)-Feeling (F) in their dietary and heath behaviors, although some gender differences existed. Significantly better dietary and health behaviors were shown in subjects preferring Judging (J) rather than Perceiving (P). There behaviors included eating breakfast, regularly eating three meals a day, smoking less, exercising more and having a lower tendency to night-eating. The personality preference of J-P could be useful index for nutritional education and counseling or behavior modification programs for obese people.

주니어 마켓 소비자의 의복행동에 대한 성격 유형적 접근 (A Study of Junior - Market Consumer Personality Types and their Effect on Clothing Behaviors)

  • This study classified consumer personality types of the junior market and examined their clothing behaviors. The subjects were composed of 283 male and 276 female high-school-age consumers. Data were collected through questionnaires. Personality types were classified by the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI). Data were analysed with the frequency, $X^2$, factor analysis, Cronbach's $\alpha$, ANOVA and Duncan tests using Windows SPSS 12. There was a significant difference (P<0.001) between fashion involvement and the 8 classified personality types. In fashion involvement, the extroverted feeling type was significantly higher than the other types. In brand image orientation, the extroverted thinking type was significantly higher than the other types (P<0.05). In fashion ad-orientation, the extroverted feeing type was also significantly higher than the other types. In active or passive complaining behaviors, there was no difference. In the selection criterion for clothes of color and design and style, the extroverted feeling type was also significantly higher than the other groups (P<0.05).

  • 본 논문은 문제기반학습 연계의 시뮬레이션 교육이 MBTI 성격유형에 따라 비판적 사고, 문제해결 능력 및 학습동기에 미치는 효과를 분석하고자 시도되었다. 간호 전공심화생 19명을 대상으로 첫 6주간 문제기반학습 패키지로 학습하고, 그후 5주는 문제기반학습연계의 통합시뮬레이션 교육을 받은 후 비판적 사고, 문제해결 능력, 학습동기를 평가하고 이를 MBTI 성격유형에 따라 분석하였다. 그 결과 외래근무 심화생의 학습동기와 이전에 시뮬레이션 교육경험이 없는 심화생의 비판적 사고가 유의하게 높았으며, 논리적이고 창의적인 유형(NT)에서 비판적 사고가 유의하게 높았다. 학습에 대한 태도와 동기는 성격유형과 유형들이 가지는 특징에 영향을 받을 수 있으므로, 문제기반학습 기반의 시뮬레이션 교육의 효과를 높이기 위해서는 대상자들의 성격유형을 고려하고, 특징들을 반영한 간호교육 프로그램이 개발되어야 할 것이다.

Relationship between Personality Type and Academic Achievement of Korean Medical Students

  • The purpose of this study is to examine the relationship between Myers-Briggs Type Indicator(MBTI) personality type and academic achievement of Korean medical students. A total of 97 (57 men, 40 women; ages 24 to 36) fourth-year Korean medical students participated in this study. The MBTI questionnaire was administered to all the students for identification of their personality type and academic performance. The results are as follows. First, the proportions of Personality type of Korean medical students were Extroversion (E) 33.0% - Introversion (I) 67.0%, Sensing (S) 70.1%- Intuition (N) 29.9%, Thinking (T) 58.8%- Feeling (F) 41.2%, and Judging (J) 54.6% - Perceiving (P) 45.3%. Second, the most common personality type was ISTJ (22.7%), followed by ISTP (13.4%), ISFJ (12.3%). Third, according to the analysis of this study, academic achievement was significantly related with their personality type in the preference : Sensing (S) - Intuition (N) and Judging (J)-Perceiving (P). In analysis of Sensing (S) - Intuition (N) and Judging (J)-Perceiving (P) index, Sensing (S) and Judging (J) type students had higher academic achievement than Intuition (N) and Perceiving (P) type students. This is the study to identify the characteristics of MBTI in Korean Medical students. The findings indicate that academic achievement was significantly related to their personality type in the preference. Using the results of MBTI in Korean medical students, is helpful in selection of appropriate teaching and learning strategies to provide better education.

소아치과 전공의와 타과 전공의 간 성격 유형 연구 (The Study of Personality Types between Pediatric and Other Dental Residents)

  • 이 연구의 목적은 소아치과 전공의와 타과 전공의 간 성격 유형을 비교하는 것이다. 77명의 대한민국 소아치과 전공의와 71명의 타과 전공의를 대상으로 Myers-Briggs Type Indicator 설문지를 이용하여 성격 유형을 조사하였다. 이는 양 극단의 4가지 선호지표로 구성되어 있으며, 각각 외향형 / 내향형, 감각형 / 직관형, 사고형 / 감정형, 판단형 / 인식형으로 나뉜다. 이 4가지의 선호지표를 조합하여 총 16가지의 성격 유형을 결정한다. 소아치과 전공의에서는 감각형과 판단형이 높은 비율을 보였으나 통계적으로 유의하지는 않았다. 성격 유형은 두 그룹 모두 ISTJ형이 제일 많았다. 통계적인 유의성은 오직 성별에서만 나타났으며, 남성이 여성보다 사고형의 비율이 높았다. 이번 연구는 국내에서 처음으로 소아치과와 타과 전공의 간 성격 유형 분석을 시행한 점에 의의가 있다. 설문 전 오리엔테이션 교육과 표본 대상의 확대를 통한 진전된 연구가 진행되어야 할 것으로 보인다.

한국인의 영어 발음에 영향을 미치는 개인적 특성 요인 (Personal Factors Affecting Korean Speakers' English Pronunciation)

  • This study examines personal factors that affect Korean speakers' English pronunciation. Personal factors which are examined here are as follows: personality type, cognitive system, motivational orientation type, interest in English, how often they listen to tapes, and academic achievements. Data were collected through MBTI (Myers Briggs Type Indicator) Test, Group Embedded Figural Test, and a Questionnaire. The participants consisted of 65 college students. All the results were statistically analyzed: Korean students' personality type and cognitive system are not related with their pronunciation, but motivational orientation type, how often they listen to tapes, academic achievements, and interest in English study are correlated with their pronunciation.

Linguistical approach with Automatic MBTI Identification Model based on Measuring Bioelectricity Patterns

  • Until now, it is popular to use question-and-answer-based for human personality. The current inspection of representative personality types includes Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) and job suitability evaluations. The problem of these inspection methods is influenced by the user's environment and psychological status during MBTI inspection. To solve this problem, we proposed MBTI Identification Model based on measuring bioelectricity patterns. We adapt traditional Korean medicine, the Eight Constitution, to this model. We develop an automatic MBTI identification algorithm that maps the Eight Constitution via biological current patterns to identify MBTI personality types. By utilizing the algorithm proposed in this research, it is anticipated that users will be able to measure MBTI more easily and accurately.

MBTI 기본 프로그램이 간호대학생의 대인관계와 집단응집력에 미치는 영향 (A Study on the Effect of MBTI (Myers and Briggs Type Indicator) Basic Program on the Interpersonal Relationship Between Nursing Science Major Students and Their Cohesion)

  • This study is intended to suggest fundamental data necessary for developing MBTI program that can help improve interpersonal relation skills of nursing science major students and their cohesion. This study is pre-experimental research by one group pretest-post test design to examine the effect of MBTI(Myers and Briggs Type Indicator) basic program on the interpersonal relationship between nursing science major students and their group cohesion and the relationship between interpersonal relationship and their group cohesion. I selected 39 of sophomore students in the department nursing science of K university in I metropolitan city as test group. 35 of them joined post-test. Pretest and MBTI basic program were done before conducting MBTI program. Collected data were analyzed by SPSS window 7.5. The difference in test group before and after conducting program was examined by paired t-test. The correlation between interpersonal relationship and group cohesion was measured by using Pearson Correlation Coefficient. The findings are as follows. $\cdot$ The difference before and after conducting MBTI program by sub-factors of interpersonal relation: There was no significant difference, as the average figure of interpersonal relation in test group was 87.22 before conducting MBTI and 85.08 after conducting MBTI respectively. The average figure of sensitivity among the sub-factors of interpersonal relation was 7.71 before conducting MBTI and reduced to 7.08 after conducting MBTI and there was significant difference between before and after conducting MBTI(t=-2.484, p=.018) $\cdot$ The difference in group cohesion before and after conducting MBTI program: The average figure of group cohesion in test group was 56.68 before conducting MBTI and increased a bit to 56.80 after conducting MBTI\, but there was no significant difference between them. $\cdot$ The relationship between interpersonal relationship and group cohesion before and after conducting MBTI: As the relationship between interpersonal relationship and group cohesion before and after conducting MBTI is examined, there was positive correlation of the significance level. p<.05 before conducting MBTI(r=.320, p=.047), and of the significance level, p<.01 after conducting MBTI(r=.780, p=.000). The investigation on the relation between sub-factors of group cohesion and of interpersonal relation before conducting MBTI basic program revealed that there was positive correlation between openness, reliability, friendliness and satisfaction, and group intervention, between receptivity among group members and reliability, and between group atmosphere and satisfaction. The investigation on the relation between sub-factors of group cohesion and of interpersonal relation after conducting MBTI basic program revealed that there was positive correlation between openness, communication, understanding, friendliness and satisfaction. and group intervention. There was positive correlation between receptivity among group members and openness, communication, understanding, friendliness and satisfaction. There was positive correlation between openness, communication, friendliness and satisfaction, and group atmosphere. Based on the above findings, I realize that MBTI basic program is essential to the improvement of group cohesion. In addition, it is shown that the sub-factors of interpersonal relation such as openness, communication, friendliness, satisfaction, and understanding, and the sub-factors such as group intervention and receptivity among group members are major factors to improve interpersonal relationship and group cohesion. So, the future MBTI program should include sub-programs that deal with the above factors to improve interpersonal relationship and group cohesion.
