(A/B)$_{k}$ M/(B/A)$_{k}$ 의 구조를 갖는 1차원 자성 포토닉 결정의 자기 광학 특성을 수치해석하였다. • This work conducted the experimental analysis on ultrasonic acoustic matching in order to measure the accuracy of gaseous fuel level values. The experimental devices were used as 12V-DC supply, control T1 board, oscilloscope (DS01072B), ultrasonic probe and pattern table. The research models were designed by ceramic assay which can determine the transmitting and receiving energies. The result of the ringing area could verify the increased characteristics in the order of D (0.180m) < E (0.184m) < B (0.204m) < A (0.234m) < F (0.244m) < C (0.247m) models based on initial 2.9V of the maximum peak voltage. From the experimental results, the model designed by Ø21*3+2t of the matching layer was notable in that the most outstanding directivity energy could be created.

  • A functional central limit theorem is obtained for a stationary multivariate linear process of the form $X_t=\sum\limits_{u=0}^\infty{A}_{u}Z_{t-u}$, where {$Z_t$} is a sequence of strictly stationary m-dimensional linearly positive quadrant dependent random vectors with $E Z_t = 0$ and $E{\parallel}Z_t{\parallel}^2 <{\infty}$ and {$A_u$} is a sequence of coefficient matrices with $\sum\limits_{u=0}^\infty{\parallel}A_u{\parallel}<{\infty}$ and $\sum\limits_{u=0}^\infty{A}_u{\neq}0_{m{\times}m}$. • In this article, we study the existence and uniqueness of mild and classical solutions for a nonlinear impulsive differential equation with nonlocal conditions u'(t) = Au(t) + f(t, u(t); Tu(t); Su(t)), $0{\leq}t{\leq}T_0$, $t{\neq}t_i$, u(0) + g(u) = $u_0$, ${\Delta}u(t_i)=I_i(u(t_i))$, i = 1,2,${\ldots}$p, 0<$t_1$<$t_2$<$\cdots$<$t_p$<$T_0$, in a Banach space X, where A is the infinitesimal generator of a $C_0$ semigroup, g constitutes a nonlocal conditions, and ${\Delta}u(t_i)=u(t_i^+)-u(t_i^-)$ represents an impulsive conditions.

  • In order to search for the semi-dwarf japonica varieties allelic to the semi-dwarf rice cultivar which is controlled by d-t gene, seven dwarf japonica varieties. Reimei, Hoyoku. Shiranui, Kokumasari, M 7. S.224 and S.295 were crossed to the semi-dwarf cultivar, wx 817. wx 817 is known to have semi-dwarf gene d-t. Their F$_1$, F$_2$ and F$_3$ were grown in 1984 and 1985 and culm lengths were measured at harvest. The results are summarized as follows. 1. The F$_2$s of all 7 cross combinations showed normal distribution and no segregation. 2. The range of culm length variation in the F$_3$ was variable depending on the cross combination, but the general pattern was similar in the all 7 crosses. 3. The mean of F$_3$ and parental F$_2$ mean which were selected into short, medium and tall groups were similar and showed no segregation, implying the selection efficiency in F$_2$. 4. From the results of F$_2$ and F$_3$ segregations, it is concluded that the culm length of the 7 semi-dwarf japonicas tested here are controlled by the same major gene d-t although they are modified by different minor genes.

  • To establish prediabetes in vitro model concerning the etiology of IDDM(Insulin Dependent Diabetes Mellitus) in cellular level we have designed prediabetes in vitro models in pa ncreatic beta cells. HIT-T15, RINm5F and isolated rat islets were chosen as pancreatic beta cells, and streptozotocin (STZ) used as diabetogenic agent. Degree of beta cell destruction to establish prediabetic in vitro model was determined by cell proliferation and insulin release using thymidine uptake and radio immuno assay. When HIT-T15 and RINm5F cells were treated with STZ, the degree of cell deterioration was dependent upon the origin and passage number of beta cells, and in the case of isolated islets STZ showed the more sensitivity than above two beta cell lines. The concentration and exposure time of STZ treatment to establish prediabetes in vitro model in beta cell lines and isolated rat islets were 2 ~ 10mM, 30 min. and 1 ~ 5mM, 30 min., respectively.

  • We show the existence and uniqueness of solutions for the Cauchy problem for nonlinear evolution equations with the strong damping: ${\upsilon}"(t)-M(|{\nablauu}(t)|^2){\triangle}u(t)-{\delta}{\triangle}u'(t)=f(t)$. As an application, a Kirchhoff model with viscosity is given.

  • Suppose the kernel function $\kappa$ belongs to $S(R^2)$ and is symmetric such that $ < \otimes x, \kappa >\geq 0$ for all $x \in S'(R)$. Let A be the class of functions f such that the function f is measurable on $S'(R)$ with $\int_{S'(R)}$\mid$f((I + tK)^{\frac{1}{2}}x$\mid$^2d\mu(x) < M$ for some $M > 0$ and for all t > 0, where K is the integral operator with kernel function $\kappa$. We show that the \lambda$-potential $G_Kf$ of f is a weak solution of $(\lambda I - \frac{1}{2} \tilde{\Xi}_{0,2}(\kappa))_u = f$.

  • In order to improve the device performances of organic electroluminescent devices (OELDs), the efficiency of carrier injections into the organic layers from electrodes and the balance of injected carrier densities in the emission region are critical factors. Especially, energy barriers, which exist at the interfaces between electrodes and organic layers, interrupt carrier injections, which lead to unbalanced carrier densities. In this study, ${\alpha}-septithiophene$ (${\alpha}$-7T), as a buffer layer, and composite cathode composed of Al and CsF were formed to improve hole and electron injections, respectively. The orientations of ${\alpha}$-7T molecules were adjusted using the simple rubbing method and the mass ratio of CsF was varied from 1 to 10 wt%. Upon investigation of we believe that the 3 wt% mass ratio of CsF and the horizontal orientation of ${\alpha}$-7T molecules are the optimized conditions for achieving better the performance of OELDs. Device with the horizontally oriented 20 nm thick ${\alpha}$-7T layer and composite cathode shows a turn-on voltage of 7V and luminance of 172 cd/$m^2$ at 4 mA/$cm^2$.
