1995년 7월부터 년 말까지 시험 운용되고, 1996년 1월부터 정식으로 운용 된 Loran - C 한국 체인(GRI 9930)의 측위 정도를 파악하기 위하여, 부산수산대학교의 고정점(위도 $35^{\circ}$07'55.204"N, 경도 $129^{\circ}$06'21.744"E)에 Loran - C 수신기(LC - 90, Furuno)와 GPS 수신기(AccNav SportTM, Eagle)를 장치하여 1995년 11월 22일부터 1996년 1월 20일 사이에 5분 간격으로 2초 동안 자동, 연속 기록한 측위 자료를 분석 검토한 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 1) Loran - C 한국 체인 M-W 조국, M-X 조국 및 M-Y 조국의 평균 시간차는 12333.09${\mu}$s, 28338.44${\mu}$s, 42806.01${\mu}$s이었고, 그 평균 변동폭은 각각 0.0121${\mu}$s, 0.0290${\mu}$s, 0.0327${\mu}$s로 Loran - C 신호가 비교적 안정되었음을 알 수 있었다. 또한, 시간차의 일변화 및 월간 변화에서 재현성을 보이고 있음을 알 수 있었다. 2) Loran - C 한국 체인의 기준 위치로부터의 위도 방향과 경도 방향의 변화폭은 W.X 조국에서는 9.1m, 17.4m, W.Y 조국에서는 11.5m, 13.7m이었으며 X.Y 조국에서는 8.1m, 29.3m이였다. 또한, 그 때 각 조국의 95% 확률 반경은 각각 39.2m, 35.7m, 60.8m를 나타났다. 따라서, 부산 지역에서는 W.Y 조국을 선택하여 측위하는 것이 측위 정도를 더욱 향상시킬 수 있음을 알 수 있었다. 3) GPS에 의한 위도 방향과 경도 방향의 변화폭은 15.4m, 15.0m이었으며, 그 때 95% 확률 반경은 43.4m이었다. 4) 기준 위치를 중심을 GPS 측정 위치와 W.X 조국, W.Y 조국 및 X.Y 조국에 대한 Loran - C 측정 위치를 비교한 결과 GPS는 남쪽으로 16.0m 편위하였고, W.X 조국은 동쪽으로 265.2m, W.Y 조국은 북쪽으로 279.5m, 그리고 X.Y 조국은 북서쪽으로 224.3m 편위하여, Loran - C 위치가 GPS 위치보다 약 250m 더 편위 된 것을 알 수 있었다.

지하수조사를 목적으로 수행한 일련의 지구과학적인 연구의 일부로 수행한 탄성파 굴절법 탐사와 공대공 탐사 결과는 다음과 같은 사실을 제시하였다. 1) 매질의 탄성파 속도는 표토층 (<4m)에서는 250 m/s, 충적층 (>4 <17m)은 2,500 m/s, 암반은 3,500 m/s 이상이다. 2) 암반까지 심도는 탄성파 탐사와 검층 결과는 대략 17 m 정도 인데 시추 코아에 의하면 25m 이하에서 암반이 나타난다.

Modern warfare has developed into a network based simultaneous and integrated warfare where operations elements are interconnected. Following such change in modern warfare, ROK Army has been making an effort to transform personnel-based military structure into technology-based advanced structure. Considering technological innovations and changes in characteristics of officers and men, ROK Army is developing scientific education and training system to provide demand-focused customized education. To support such transformation in education and training, ROK Army is constantly developing Army training system using advanced M&S technology. This paper describes ROK Army's education and training policy, and elaborates the current status of M&S training system using advanced M&S technology. This paper further discusses the future directions of M&S training system.

The aim of this work is to generalize $L_1$-approximation in order to apply them to a discrete approximation. In $L_1$-approximation, we use the norm given by $${\parallel}f{\parallel}_1={\int}{\mid}f{\mid}d{\mu}$$ where ${\mu}$ a non-atomic positive measure. In this paper, we go to the other extreme and consider measure ${\mu}$ which is purely atomic. In fact we shall assume that ${\mu}$ has exactly m atoms. For any ${\ell}$-tuple $b^1,\;{\cdots},\;b^{\ell}{\in}{\mathbb{R}}^m$, we defined the ${\ell}^m_1{w}$-norn, and consider $s^*{\in}S$ such that, for any $b^1,\;{\cdots},\;b^{\ell}{\in}{\mathbb{R}}^m$, $$\array{min&max\\{s{\in}S}&{1{\leq}i{\leq}{\ell}}}\;{\parallel}b^i-s{\parallel}_w$$, where S is a n-dimensional subspace of ${\mathbb{R}}^m$. The $s^*$ is called the Chebyshev center or a discrete simultaneous ${\ell}^m_1$-approximation from the finite dimensional subspace.

We introduce a special class of real recurrent polynomials $f_m$$($m{\geq}1$) of degree m+1, with positive roots $s_m$, which are decreasing as m increases. The first root $s_1$, as well as the last one denoted by $s_{\infty}$ are expressed in closed form, and enclose all $s_m$ (m > 1). This technique is also used to find weaker than before [6] sufficient convergence conditions for some popular iterative processes converging to solutions of equations.

This experiment was conducted to investigate the effect of the cysteine and glutathione on the motility index and morphology of human spermatozoa at the sperm processing in vitro. After treating the sperm with medium containing cysteine and glutathione, we measured the motility index and morphology at 0.5 h and 24 h. 1. Following the sperm culture for 0.5 h after treating the sperm with the medium containing 0, 1, 5, 10 mM cysteine, curvilinear velocity (VCL) was significantly (p<0.05) higher in control than that in all treatments. And straight-line velocity (VSL) was high at 1 mM and average path velocity (VAP) was low at 5 mM and 10 mM. But the motility (MOT) and morphology (NOM) were not different between control and all treatments. Following the sperm culture for 24 h, the MOT was significantly high in treatment groups (58.9, 74.4 and 62.3%), compared with that in control(28.7%) and the VCL was also high in treatment groups (31.4, 37.9, and 34.0 ${\mu}{\textrm}{m}$/s), compared with that in control (21.3 ${\mu}{\textrm}{m}$/s). The VSL (18.4, 21.7, and 18.9 ${\mu}{\textrm}{m}$/s) was significantly higher than control (10.7 ${\mu}{\textrm}{m}$/s) and the VAP (20.3, 24.7, and 21.4 ${\mu}{\textrm}{m}$/s) in treatments was also compared with that in control (12.6 ${\mu}{\textrm}{m}$/s). The NOM was not difference between control and treatments. 2 Following the sperm culture for 0.5 after treating the sperm with the medium containing 0, 1, 5, 10 mM glutathione, the MOT, VCL, VSL, VAP, and NOM were not different between control and treatments. Following the sperm culture for 24 h, the MOT was higher in treatment groups (82.9, 83.6, 83.4%) than in control (51.1%) and the VCL was higher in treatment groups (50.9, 51.3, and 49.4 ${\mu}{\textrm}{m}$/s) than control (34.1 ${\mu}{\textrm}{m}$/s). The VSL was also higher in treatment (17.1 ${\mu}{\textrm}{m}$/s) and the VAP was also higher in treatment groups (30.1, 32.5, and 29.7 ${\mu}{\textrm}{m}$/s) than in control (19.8 ${\mu}{\textrm}{m}$/s). The NOM was not different between control and treatments.

강원도 고성군 근해에서 수심 300 m와 500 m의 심층수에 서식하는 해양미생물 분포를 조사하였다. 심해미생물을 16S rRNA genes pyrosequencing 방법으로 분석한 결과 300 m 심층수 시료에서 얻은 19,474 reads에서 Alphaproteobacteria와 Gammaproteobacteria가 각각 57.41%와 38.85%의 분포 비율을 보였다. 심해 500 m의 시료에서 얻은 82,806 reads에서는 Gammaproteobacteria가 99.64%로 대부분을 차지하였다. 수심 300 m에서는 Rhodobacterales (57.31%)가 우점하였고, 수심 500 m에서는 Alteromonadales (45.65%)와 Oceanospirillales (34.61%)가 우점하였다. Operational Taxonomic Units와 diversity indexes (Shannon과 Simpson)를 기준으로 할 때 해양미생물의 다양성은 수심 500 m지역이 수심 300 m지역보다 더 높게 나타났다.

Let M be an R-module and S a semigroup. Our goal is to discuss zero-divisors of the semigroup module M[S]. Particularly we show that if M is an R-module and S a commutative, cancellative and torsion-free monoid, then the R[S]-module M[S] has few zero-divisors of size n if and only if the R-module M has few zero-divisors of size n and Property (A).

일련의 불소화된 티아디아졸 3, 트리아졸 4, 그리고 옥사디아졸 5이 (2-(6-Methyl-2-P-tolyl-lH-imidazo[1,2-a]pyridin-3-yl)핵종을 가지고 있는 티오세미카르바지드로 부터 합성되어진다. 초음파조사 방법 뿐만 아니라 일반적인 방법에 의해 반응이 진행되었다. 모든 생성물들은 IR, 1H NMR, MS로 구조가 결정되었고, 이들 화합물의 항균활성을 스크닝하였다.

Let $m$ and $k$ be any positive integers, let $\mathbb{Z}_k$ the ring of integers of modulo $k$, let $G_m(\mathbb{Z}_k)$ the group of all $m$ by $m$ nonsingular matrices over $\mathbb{Z}_k$ and let ${\phi}_m(k)$ the order of $G_m(\mathbb{Z}_k)$. In this paper, ${\phi}_m(k)$ can be computed by the following investigation: First, for any relatively prime positive integers $s$ and $t$, $G_m(\mathbb{Z}_{st})$ is isomorphic to $G_m(\mathbb{Z}_s){\times}G_m(\mathbb{Z}_t)$. Secondly, for any positive integer $n$ and any prime $p$, ${\phi}_m(p^n)=p^{m^2}{\cdot}{\phi}_m(p^{n-1})=p{^{2m}}^2{\cdot}{\phi}_m(p^{n-2})={\cdots}=p^{{(n-1)m}^2}{\cdot}{\phi}_m(p)$, and so ${\phi}_m(k)={\phi}_m(p_1^n1){\cdot}{\phi}_m(p_2^{n2}){\cdots}{\phi}_m(p_s^{ns})$ for the prime factorization of $k$, $k=p_1^{n1}{\cdot}p_2^{n2}{\cdots}p_s^{ns}$.
