비선형 외란 관측기를 이용한 유도전동기의 강인 적응 백스테핑 제어 (Robust Adaptive Backstepping Control of Induction Motors Using Nonlinear Disturbance Observer)

  • In this paper, we propose a robust adaptive backstepping control of induction motors with uncertainties using nonlinear disturbance observer(NDO). The proposed NDO is applied to estimate the time-varying lumped uncertainty which are derived from unknown motor parameters and load torque, but NDO error does not converge to zero since the derivate of lumped uncertainty is not zero. Then the fuzzy neural network(FNN) is presented to estimate the NDO error such that the rotor speed to converge to a small neighborhood of the desired trajectory. Rotor flux and inverse time constant are estimated by the sliding mode adaptive flux observer. Simulation results are provided to verify the effectiveness of the proposed approach.

  • A lumped parameter model is proposed for the analysis of dynamic behaviour of a Passive Hydraulic Engine Mount (PHEM), incorporating inertia track and throttle, which is characterized by effective and efficient vibration isolation behaviour in the range of both low and high frequencies. Most of the model parameters, including volume compliance of the throttle chamber, effective piston area, fluid inertia and resistance of inertia track and throttle are identified by an experimental approach. Numerical predictions are obtained through a finite element method for responses of dynamic stiffness of the rubber spring. The experiments are made for the purpose of PHEM validation. Comparison of numerical results with experimental observations has shown that the present PHEM achieves good performance for vibration isolation.

  • In this paper, design and performance analysis of robust and inexpensive permanent magnet-assisted synchronous reluctance generators (PMa-SynRG) for tactical and commercial generator sets is studied. More specifically, the optimal design approach is investigated for minimizing volume and maximizing performance for the portable generator. In order to find optimized PMa-SynRG, stator winding configurations and rotor structures are analyzed using the lumped parameter model (LPM). After comparisons of stator windings and rotor structure by LPM, the selected stator winding and rotor structure are optimized using a differential evolution strategy (DES). Finally, output performances are verified by finite element analysis (FEA) and experimental tests. This design process is developed for the optimized design of PMa-SynRG to achieve minimum magnet and machine volume as well as maximum efficiency simultaneously.

고속 디지털 보드를 위한 새로운 전압 버스 설계 방법 (Novel Power Bus Design Method for High-Speed Digital Boards)

  • 다층 고속 디지털 보드에 대한 빠르고 정확한 전압 버스 설계 방법은 정확하고 정밀한 고속 보드에 전원 공급망 설계 방법을 위해 고안되었다. FAPUD는 PBEC(Path Based Equivalent Circuit)모델과 망 합성 방법의 두 중요 알고리즘을 기반으로 구성된다. PBEC 모델 기반의 회로 레벨의 2차원 전원 분배 망의 전기적 값으로부터 lumped 1차원 회로 모델로 간단한 산술 표현들을 활용한다 제안된 PBEC 기반인 회로 단계 설계는 제안한 지역 접근법을 이용해 수행된다. 이 회로 단계 설계는 온칩 디커플링 커패시터의 크기, 오프칩 디커플링 커패시터의 위치와 크기, 패키지 전압 버스의 유효한 인덕턴스를 직접 결정하고 계산한다. 설계 출력에 따라 모든 디커플링 커패시터가 포한된 lumped 회로 모델과 전압 버스의 레이아웃은 FAPUD 방법을 이용한 후 얻을 수 있다. 미세조정 과정에서, I/O Switching에 의해 덧붙여진 Simultaneous Switching Noise(SSN)를 고려한 보드 재 최적화가 수행될 수 있다 이는 전원 공급 잡음에 I/O 동작 효과가 lumped 회로 모델을 가지고 전 동작 주파수 범위에 대해 추산될 수 있기 때문이다. 게다가 만약 설계에 조정이 필요하거나 교체해야 한다면, FAPUD 방법은 다른 전면 설계변경 없이 디커플링 커패시터들을 대체하여 설계를 수정하는 것이 가능하다. 마지막으로 FAPUD 방법은 전형적인 PEEC 기본설계 방법과 비교해 정확하고 FAPUD 방법의 설계 시간은 전형적인 PEEC 기본 설계 방법의 시간보다 10배가 빠르다.

부정류 흐름에서 상수관망 수질해석을 위한 동역학적 모형의 개발 (Development of a Dynamic Model for Water Quality Simulation during Unsteady Flow in Water Distribution Networks)

  • A dynamic water quality model is presented in order to simulate water quality under slowly varying flow conditions over time. To improve numerical accuracy, the proposed model uses a lumped system approach instead of extended period simulation, unlike the other available models. This approach can achieve computational efficiency by assuming liquid and pipe walls to be rigid, unlike the method of characteristics, which has been successfully implemented in rapidly varying flows. The discrete volume method is applied to resolve the advection and reaction terms of the transport equation for water quality constituents in pipes. Numerical applications are implemented to the pipe network examples under steady and unsteady conditions as well as hydraulic and water quality simulations. The numerical results are compared with EPANET2, which is a widely used simulation model for a water distribution system. The model results are in good agreement with EPANET2 for steady-state simulation. However, the hydraulic simulation results under unsteady flows differ from those of EPANET2, which causes a deviation in water quality prediction. The proposed model is expected to be a component of an integrated operation model for a water distribution system if it is combined with a computational model for rapidly varying flows to estimate leakage, pipe roughness, and intensive water quality.

  • 광화학 스모그 현상을 재현하기 위한 메카니즘은 약 20,000개의 반응식과 수천개의 종이 포함되어야 하므로 자세한 반응 메카니즘을 포함하는 데는 한계가 있다(Dodge, 2000). 최근에 morphecule이라 부르는 대리종(surrogates)을 사용하는 방법(morphecule approach)이 개발되었다. 이 메카니즘은 반응 속도, 생성율, 생성물의 형태를 포함하여 lumped surrogates와 관련된 인자들이 모사하는 전체 시간 중 각 t시간 동안 일정하고 그 시간이후에는 인자들이 변화한다고 가정한다. 또한 특성이 비슷한 유기 화합물의 다양한 그룹을 표현할 때 morphecule이라 부르는 특정 화학종들을 사용한다.   • This paper suggests a control method for efficient topology/parameter evolution in a bond-graph-based GP design framework that automatically synthesizes designs for multi-domain, lumped parameter dynamic systems, We adopt a hierarchical breeding control mechanism with fitness-level-dependent differences to obtain better balancing of topology/parameter search - biased toward topological changes at low fitness levels, and toward parameter changes at high fitness levels. As a testbed for this approach, an eigenvalue assignment problem, which is to find bond graph models exhibiting minimal distance errors from target sets of eigenvalues, was tested and showed improved performance for various sets of eigenvalues.

  • Recently, RF lumped-element devices are demanded strongly in application of hand-held mobile communication equipments. Many workers have been reported RF integrated inductor as well as air cores. In order to achieve the high Q value, they removed backside of substrate by micro machining process [1] and also another MEMS-like approach such as levitated structure [2]. These approaches are capable of suppressing the parasitic effects, but low reproducibility and high cost problems remain. (omitted)

Large displacement analysis of inelastic frame structures by convected material frame approach

  • This paper presents the convected material frame approach to study the nonlinear behavior of inelastic frame structures. The convected material frame approach is a modification of the co-rotational approximation by incorporating an adaptive convected material frame in the basic definition of the displacement vector and strain tensor. In the formulation, each discrete element is associated with a local coordinate system that rotates and translates with the element. For each load increment, the corresponding strain-displacement and nodal force-stress relationships are defined in the updated local coordinates, and based on the updated element geometry. The rigid body motion and deformation displacements are decoupled for each increment. This modified approach incorporates the geometrical nonlinearities through the continuous updating of the material frame geometry. A generalized nonlinear function is used to derive the inelastic constitutive relation and the kinematic hardening is considered. The equation of motion is integrated by an explicit procedure and it involves only vector assemblage and vector storage in the analysis by assuming a lumped mass matrix of diagonal form. Several numerical examples are demonstrated in close agreement with the solutions obtained by the ANSYS code. Numerical studies show that the proposed approach is capable of investigating large deflection of inelastic planar structures and providing an excellent numerical performance.

일반유한요소법을 이용한 집중소성힌지 모델링 (Plastic Hinge Modeling Based on Lumped Plasticity using a Generalized Finite Element Method)

  • 본 논문은 고전적인 오일러-베르누이 보의 집중소성힌지 모델링을 위한 일반유한요소법을 제안한다. 이 기법에서 소성힌지는 해의 약불연속을 묘사하는 적절한 확장함수에 의해 모델링되며, 요소간의 연결성을 변화시키지 않으면서 임의의 위치에 소성힌지를 삽입하는 것이 가능하다. 대신 소성힌지는 이미 존재하는 요소에 위계적으로 자유도를 추가함으로써 형성된다. 제안된 기법의 유효성을 검증하기 위해 수치해석 예제에 대해 h-, p-확장과 같은 수렴성 해석을 수행하였다. 수렴성 해석의 결과가 제안된 기법이 소성힌지가 절점 및 요소 내의 임의의 위치에 존재하는 두 가지 경우 모두에 대하여 유한요소이론에 의한 수렴속도를 얻을 수 있음을 보여주어 기법의 정확성을 입증하였다.
