  • In this research, nonvisibility and robustness of image watermarking mixed Key and Logo method were evaluated. The role of the Key was performed by a personal ID of a copyrighter and the logo images were used as the watermark. The standard image of Lena was used for experimental image and binary images of `Park'with size 32${\times}$32 and 64${\times}$64 were used for the watermark, respectively In order to evaluate nonvisibility of the proposed watermarking scheme, PSNR(Peak Signal to Noise Ratio) of the watermarked image was obtained and for robustness reconstructive rates of the reconstructed watermark were obtained from the watermarked image with image transformation of JPEG lossy compression. The experimental results show that nonvisibility is excellent as PSNR of the watermarked image is 93.75dB and the reconstructive rates of the case of 322${\times}$32 watermark was better than the case of the 64${\times}$64 watermark; average 5.9%, 13.9%, 6.5%, and 4.2% in the case of scale-down rates, rotational rates, impulse noise power density, and JPEG lossy compression rates, respectively.

  • With the establishment of the optimized copyright, digital image watermarking technique is demended to identify the owner of a certain image and to avoid the unauthorized distribution of digital image copies. Also, a robust watermarking approach should survive several possible attacks, such as image processing and lossy image compession. The proposed scheme distributes the 256 gray-level signature information in discrete wavelet transform domain of the host image where is very little visible distortion. While much of the privious work used signature data that is a small fraction of th e host images the proposed approach can easily handle gray-scale Images. As the result, stable reconstruction can be obtained even when the images are transformed, JPEG lossy compression or otherwise modified by low-pass filtering operations.

  • In this paper, we propose a novel blind watermarking Method using 2D CAT (Two dimensional cellular automata transform). In our scheme, firstly, we obtain the gateway values to generate a dual-state, dual-coefficients basis function. Secondly, the basis function transforms images into cellular automata space. Lastly, we use the cellular automata transform coefficients to embed random noise watermark in the cover images. The proposed scheme allows only one 2D CAT basis function per gateway value. Since there are $2^{96}$ possible gateway values, better security is guaranteed. Moreover, the new method not only verifies higher fidelity than the existing method but also stronger stability on JPEG lossy compression, filtering, sharpening and noise through tests for robustness.

  • In this paper, a blind watermarking method using binary images as watermarks is proposed. In order to enhance the detection capability against various attacks that transform watermarked image, the method uses asymmetric thresholds for inserting and detecting. Also, in order to reduce errors in the detected value of watermarks according to small changes in the coefficient values when detecting watermarks, it set the range for movement variation of the coefficients and lowered the sensitivity of variation by ignoring the variations that fall into this range. The experimental results show that the proposed method has good quality and is robust to various attacks such as the JPEG lossy compression, noise addition, cropping, blurring etc.

  • In this Paper, we proposed a novel robust watermarking technique using PIM and 2D barcode for the copyright of the digital images. Because human is impervious to the change in the complex area, the embedding watermark to the selected coefficients using PIM enhances invisibility. A 2D barcode image is used for watermark in this research. The 2D barcode contains more information than conventional ID barcode and includes the error correction algorithm. Therefore the watermarking algorithm using 2D barcode enhances the robustness of watermark. From the experimental results , the proposed algorithm shows better invisibility and robustness performance in a general signal Processing such as JPEG and SPIHT lossy compression.

  • In this paper, performance of frequency-based watermarking methods is compared, which are used to protect copyright of image data. For performance comparison of each transform method, a test image is transformed into frequency domain by a full- and block-discrete cosine transforms and wavelet transform, and after general image processing, robustness of each transform is evaluated with using the same watermark signals. Simulation results show that the watermarking method based on DCTs are more robust than WT. Especially, $8{\times}8$ BDCT is most robust for JPEG lossy compression and sharpening, while $8{\times}8$ FDCT is best. for smoothing and scaling. In addition, watermarking based on BDCT shows decreasing robustness for a larger block size, compared with general image processing.

  • Digital Watermarking is a research area which aims at hiding secret information in digital multimedia content such as images, audio, and video. In this paper, we propose a new watermarking method with visually recognizable symbols into the digital images using wavelet transform, spread spectrum method and multilevel threshold value in considering the wavelet coefficients. The information of watermark can be extracted by subtracting wavelet coefficients with the original image and the watermarked image. The results of this experiment show that the proposed algorithm was superior to other similar watermarking algorithms. We showed Watermarking algorithm in JPEG lossy compression, resizing, LSB(Least Significant Bit) masking, and filtering.

  • Zero-watermarking is a digital watermarking technique that can escape from data distortion and quality degradation by no watermark insertion into digital images to be watermarked. This paper proposes DCT0CRT, a CRT-based zero-watermarking technique in the domain of DCT. One of the DC and low-frequency AC coefficients of each DCT block chosen in chaotic way from an image is selected by testing whether it satisfies the CRT-based condition matching with the watermark bit to be embedded. Such selection information forms a key to extract the watermark from the watermarked image. Experimental results show that the image quality watermarked by DCT0CRT is better than that watermarked by any other CRT-based watermarking techniques and the inserted watermark is robust against some common attacks such as sharpening, blurring, and JPEG lossy compression.

  • In this paper, we proposed a watermarking algorithm for embedding visually recognizable pattern into the middle-frequency part:; of image. Binary image as watermark is embedded in the LH2, HL2 and HH2 band of wavelet transformed domain for copyright protection of image data. To evaluate robustness of the proposed method, we applied some basic algorithm of image processing such as scaling, filtering, cropping, histogram equalizing and lossy compression(JPEG, gif). As a result of experiment, the proposed method has the good image quality and the high perceptibility of watermark. It was demonstrated by experiments that the proposed algorithm can provide an excellent protection under various attacks.

  • This paper proposed the method for restorable lossy mage compression using wavelet transformation. In order to increase compression efficiency, this algorithm subbands with the wavelet transformation filter after processing the pre-quantizer on the original images. Then, it quantizes its wavelet coefficients by using the Huffman Coding. Comparing to the JPEG or non pre-quantized images, the reconstructed images by the proposed algorithm showed higher PSNR. By applying pre-quantizing process, it will be possible to control the peak errors and it is also expected to be useful at mass image compressions.
