영화의 장소가 단순한 배경이 아니라, 캐릭터를 묘사하거나 혹은 그 자체로 캐릭터가 되어 버리는 이미지텔링 영화를 만드는 대표적인 한국 감독으로 김기덕 감독을 들 수 있다. 김기덕 감독의 영화를 살펴보면 대부분이 고립된 섬과 같은 장소에 사는 외로운 사람들의 이야기라는 공통점을 발견할 수 있다. 서울 속 고립된 공간인 청계천 공구 상가에 사는 외로운 남녀의 이야기를 그린 영화 피에타는 그 김기덕 감독 영화 인생의 정점에 선 영화이다. 이번 연구논문에서는 영화 피에타에서 보여지는 청계천 공구상가의 모습이 영화의 내러티브를 어떻게 효과적으로 구축하고 있는지 장소가 가지는 영향력과 함께 설명하고자 한다.

Every closed subset of a compact topological space is compact. Also every compact subset of a Hausdorff topological space is closed. It follows that compact subsets are precisely the closed subsets in a compact Hausdorff space. It is also proved that a topological space is maximal compact if and only if its compact subsets are precisely the closed subsets. A locale is a categorical extension of topological spaces and a frame is an object in its opposite category. We investigate to find whether the closed sublocales are exactly the compact sublocales of a compact Hausdorff frame. We also try to investigate whether the closed sublocales are exactly the compact sublocales of a maximal compact frame.

This landscape design proposal was presented to a design competition for Gwangjin-gu Community Center and Assembly Hall. The site is located in 227-7 Jayang-dong, Gwangjin-gu, Seoul and is part a block designated as \`Kunkuk University Detailed Planning District\`. The judging criteria for landscape design set by the Gwangjin-gu could be articulated as follows: an identity of Gwangjin-gu, a relationship with surrounding environment, a locale as a community center of Gwangjin-gu, and an environment-friendly design. An identity of Gwangjin-gu was expressed by introducing lends and decks around the building which were transformed from the image of the old Gwangjin Ferry. The concept\` was strengthened by \`Nori-madang\` or Korean version of \`plaza\` which was designed by a motive of \`mungsuk\` or Korean old fashioned straw mat. An ambiguous relationship between the site and the surroundings was set by \`transparent exhibition frame\` which not only bleaks the massive Chungdam-daegyo, an elevated road, and frames it into small parts, but also attracts pedestrians toward the site-the \`park\`. Pedestrians from the adjacent\` Nengdong-ro Walkable Streets\` views the site through the many parts of frames. By introducing diverse resting and dynamic spaces for many kinds of cultural activities the site could function as a locale of the Gwangjin-gu community. The main paving system reflects the environment- friendly design. It was detailed by \`PC-block-deck-paving\` which was elevated from the ground so that rains could be absorbed.

UCS(=ISO/BC 10646, =Unicode)는 국제화에 따라 앞으로 점점 더 많이 쓰게 될 것이고, 일단 정착되고 나면 한참 동안 쓸 것으로 예상하고 있다. 하지만, UCS로는 남한과 북한의 같은 글자를 쓰면서도 다른 사전 순서로 쓰는 상황을 해결할 수 없다. 국제 표준 ISO/IEC 14651:2000(International String Ordering)은 여러 나라 글자계(script)가 섞여 있을 때, 모든 글자의 차례를 정하고 간추리는 틀에 관한 표준이다. ISO/IEC 14651을 이용하면 간추리는 차례가 공통 틀 표(Common Template Table)에 들어 있기 때문에 글자의 간추리는 차례를 쉽게 바꿀 수 있으며, 남한과 북한의 가나다 차례를 통일하지 않고 글자 순서가 다른 문제를 해결할 수 있다. ISO/IEC 14651 관련 함수는 리눅스와 솔라리스, FreeBSD와 같은 유닉스 기반 운영체제의 최신 라이브러리에 포함되어 있다. 본 논문에서는 북쪽의 한글 가나다 차례를 남쪽에서 활용할 수 있도록 하기 위해서 북쪽의 한글 가나다 차례를 포함하는 북쪽 로캘을 리눅스 시스템에서 만들고, 입력된 문자열(=글자떼)을 남쪽 혹은 북쪽의 한글 가나다 차례에 따라 간추리기 할 수 있는 프로그램을 개발하였다.

ISO 14651을 이용하면 간추리는 차례가 공통 틀 표 (Common Template Table)에 들어 있기 때문에 글자의 간추리는 차례를 바꾸더라도 간추리기 프로그램을 바꿀 필요가 없다. 남쪽과 북쪽의 가나다 차례를 통일하지 않고 순서가 다른 문제를 해결할 수 있는 방법은 ISO 14651 을 활용해야 한다. 본 논문에서는 북쪽의 한글 가나다 차례를 남쪽에서 활용할 수 있도록 하기 위해서 북쪽의 한글 가나다 차례를 포함하는 북쪽 로캘을 만들고, 입력된 글자떼를 남쪽 혹은 북쪽의 한글 가나다 차례에 따라 간추리기 할 수 있는 프로그램을 개발하였다.

Though known for its connections with maritime trade at varying degrees before the rise of the Manchus and their Qing Empire, Newchwang as a fortress did not become a populous urban settlement in the nineteenth century when the Euro-American observers arrived. Through examining the history of this trade-related locale in the Qing Empire, this article explores the broader historical context, especially the Eight Banners System of the Manchus, which prevented Newchwang from developing into a port-city, and the implications behind.

본 연구는 로봇을 활용한 프로그래밍학습이 초등학생 및 초등영재들에게 창의력 향상에 도움을 주는 과학적인 학습도구라 판단되어 교육과정을 개발하였다. 이를 기초로 교재를 작성하고 현장에 직접 적용하여 그 결과를 분석하였다. 교육과정과 교재의 내용은 다양한 문제 상황에 맞는 로봇을 직접 제작하고 프로그래밍하는 과정(모두 6단계)으로 구분하고 학습수준에 맞게 편집함으로서 초등학생들이 로봇과 프로그래밍에 흥미와 관심을 가질 수 있도록 하였다. 로봇교육을 현장에 적용한 결과 창의성교육 도구로서 긍정적인 학습도구로 평가되었다. 또한, 수월성교육을 위한 학습도구로서 몇 가지 보완해야 할 결론도 함께 얻었다.

In this paper. a new automatic multi=block grid generation technique for general 2D regions is introduced. According to this simple and robust method, the domain of interest is first triangulated by using Delaunay triangulation of boundary points, and then geometric information of those triangles is used to obtain block topology. Once block boundaries are obtained. structured grid for each block is generated such that grid lines have $C^0-continuity$ across inter-block boundaries. In the final step of the present method, an elliptic grid generation method is applied to smoothen grid distribution for each block and also to re-locale the inter-block boundaries, and eventually to achieve a globally smooth multi-block structured grid system with $C^1-continuity$.

In this paper, we are going to propose the new algorithms to detect, classify, discriminate the transient and the reflected signal from noise and thus discriminate the fault section and locale the fault accurately on underground power cable system. Actually, at this system, it's very difficult to discriminate the transient because of the reflected signal including many noises. Therefore, how to solve the noise interference is a big problem. In this paper, authors present a solution based on multiple scales correlation of the transient using stationary wavelet transform. It's simple, quick and straightforward. For applying all algorithms, we just use the signal captured in single end.
