  • Dietary behavior of the elerly over 65 and local products in Yeongi Chungnam were studied during busy farming season and meal menu was developed based upon the information surveyed. In allowance, 45% of them lived with less then one hundred thousand won but 95% had their own residence(P<0.001). The dental health conditions of the male and female elderly did not show significant differences but had tendencies of bad conditions with 68% and 80%, respectively. Percentage of using denture at least one side was only 48%(P<0.05). Meal preparation was mostly done by 75% of the female elderly and only 64% of the elderly in the area took meals regularly. Recommended intakes(RIs) of calorie, protein, dietary fiber, calcium for the elderly were significantly very low(P<0.001), but those of sodium were high(P<0.05). Meal menu was developed for the meal service introduction in the pavilion of the elderly with considerations of the food habits, nutritional status, and local products studied.

  • An asymmetric metal-semiconductor-metal Al0.24Ga0.76N ultraviolet (UV) sensor was fabricated, and the effects of local Joule heating were investigated. After dielectric breakdown, the current density under a reverse bias of 2.0 V was 1.1×10-9 A/cm2, significantly lower than 1.2×10-8 A/cm2 before dielectric breakdown; moreover, the Schottky behavior of the Ti/Al/Ni/Au electrode changed to ohmic behavior under forward bias. The UV-to-visible rejection ratio (UVRR) under a reverse bias of 7.0 V before dielectric breakdown was 87; however, this UVRR significantly increased to 578, in addition to providing highly reliable responsivity. Transmission electron microscopy revealed interdiffusion between adjacent layers, with nitrogen vacancies possibly formed owing to local Joule heating at the AlGaN/Ti/Al/Ni/Au interfaces. X-ray photoelectron microscopy results revealed decreases in the peak intensities of the O 1s binding energies associated with the Ga-O bond and OH-, which act as electron-trapping states on the AlGaN surface. The reduction in dark current owing to the proposed local heating method is expected to increase the sensing performance of UV optoelectronic integrated devices, such as active-pixel UV image sensors.

  • In recent decades, pultruded glass fiber-reinforced polymer (GFRP) members including those of box sections have attracted the attention of researchers. Nevertheless, the lack of uniform and consistent material properties, simplified design methods, and practical design codes have so far been the main barrier for field applications. Consequently, this paper highlights the existing knowledge concerning the flexural behavior of pultruded GFRP profiles and their failure modes. In particulate, it reviews the most commonly accepted design expressions and code provisions addressing the flange local buckling of pultruded GFRP box beams as the most likely failure mode. In addition, the material characterization of GFRP sections is described in detail along with the standard test methods to quantify the material characterization of GFRP laminates. It is shown that the critical flange local buckling stresses of pultruded GFRP box beams can be predicted with reliable accuracy using the expressions promulgated by ASCE (1984) (in which the flange plates are considered simply-supported at web-flange junction) and EUR 27666. The expressions stipulated in ASCE (2010) highly overestimates the critical flange local buckling stresses of GFRP box beams resulting in unconservative predictions.

  • The purpose of this study is to evaluate the behavior of residual stress at the weldment of pressure vessel by local Post Weld Heat Treatment(PWHT). In order to do it, residual stress were measured before and after local PWHT by XRD on the test piece first. And then, the results of finite element(FE) analysis based on thermal-elasto-plastic-creep theories were verified by comparing with the measured results.

  • This study analyzes the relation of the consumption values and ethical fashion consumption behavior as well as other influential factors between Korean and German ethical consumers based on the 'Modified Theory of Planned Behavior.' A survey was conducted on female consumers in their 20s and 30s, who experienced ethical fashion consumption in Seoul and Berlin. A factor analysis, reliability analysis, F -test and multiple regression analysis were performed for model verification. The research results indicated that emotional value (in case of Korea) and functional value out of consumption values (in case of Germany) have significant effects in regards to the influence of consumption values on ethical self-identity. The effects of ethical self-identity on ethical fashion consumption behavior indicated that Korean ethical self-identity influenced the ethical fashion consumption behavior of moderating and simplicity and eco-friendly certification versus local consumption as well as above factors (in case of Germany) explained by ethical self-identity. Both variables had a negative moderating effect in Korea in regards to the moderating effects of social comparison and materialism in the relations of ethical self-identity and ethical fashion consumption behavior; however, only materialism was an influential factor in Germany. The results of the research variables by individualism/collectivism indicated that the horizontal-collectivism group showed the highest ethical self-identity along with the lowest materialism tendency that had a high point of consumption behavior towards local consumption. However, the vertical-individualism group was outstanding. The consumption behavior aimed at moderating and simplicity.

  • Local coercivity variation of Co/Pd nanomultilayers has been investigated by measuring the polar Kerr hysteresis loops of local areas of submicron size using a magnetooptic Kerr microscope system. Interestingly, the local coercivity distribution is very sensitive to an increase in the number of repeats: the $(2-{\AA}\;Co/ll-{\AA} Pd)_10$ sample showed a smooth variation of the local coercivity, while $(2-{\AA}\;Co/ll-{\AA} Pd)_18$ showed a large fluctuation. From micromagnetic considerations based on a thermally activated relaxation odel, we have found that this local coercivity variation has a crucial effect on the contrasting magnetization reversal behavior observed in those samples: dominant wall-motion far the former sample and dominant nucleation for the latter one.

  • This study was surveyed the visitors who visited the festival for 4 days from August 01, 2019 to August 04, 2019 .For the questionnaire, 367 copies of valid questionnaires were used as the final analysis data in four beaches: Hakdong Black Pearl Beach, Gujora Beach, Wahyeon Beach, and Jicell Port. The results of this study are as follows. First, all three sub-factors of regional festival service quality, such as confidence, empathy, and credibility, had a positive effect on participation behavior. Second, the result of the moderating effect of the influence of involvement on the quality of service and visitor participation behavior of local festivals is based on the individual moderating effects of service quality and visitor participation behavior. There was a moderating effect. Visitors should be aware of the program, which is faithful to the festival's original purpose, and provide visitors with information about the festival quickly and accurately to feel the efficacy of participating in the festival. And The more satisfied the tourists who visited the local festivals, the more likely it will be to be a successful and successful festival. By speeding up, unexpected positive customer behavior will come from places that are not important.

  • The behavior of the connection for beam-to-column weak axis connection and its details should be identified. Thus, each element is considered a panel zone, and the horizontal stiffener's presence or absence and position in bracket-type welding connection are used as variables to compare the behavior of strong axis connection and weak axis connection. In this study, the strength of connection is calculated by substituting the simple beam-strengthened vertical stiffeners for connection in the presence of horizontal stiffeners. In the absence of horizontal stiffeners, the strength of connection can be calculated using local flange bending strength considering local web yielding strength, web crippling, and web buckling strength. The results of the theoretical analysis and experiments are compared.
