시장분배모형을 이용한 건물부문 에너지 시스템 환경성능평가 (Evaluation of Environmental Performance of Energy Systems employing Market Allocation Model in Building Sector in Korea)

  • In this study, the evaluation of environmental performance of the building energy system of domestic commercial sector was carried out. Based on the theory of linear programming model, we established an evaluation model satisfying object functions and constraint conditions. Employing the model, the evaluation of building energy system was performed under the consideration of cost and environmental constraint conditions. As an evaluation tool, MARKAL (MARKet Allocation) known as a market distribution model was employed. We analyzed scenarios of Case I (Base Scenarios) through Case IX established by the combination of the components of building energy system such as glazing, building skin, core, and heat source system. According to the results of the evaluation, highest contribution on the useful energy demand was obtained from the building energy system combined with solar heat source system, when the total amounts of $CO_2$ exhaust as an environmental constraint condition is assumed to be the level of 1995.

운동 중첩에 의한 직선적 윤곽의 방위 지각 (Perceiving the Orientation of Linear Edges from Kinetic Occlusion)

  • 운동 중첩에 의해 배경의 유도 요소들이 차례로 사라질 때 유도 요소들이 사라지는 순서와 이들이 이루는 각도는 직선적 윤곽의 방위가 존재할 수 있는 범위를 한정시켜 준다. 이러한 제약 범위의 시간적 통합에 의해 운동중첩에 의한 윤곽 추출 과정을 설명하는 공통 제약 범위 모형을 제안하고 그것의 타당성을 검증하기 위해 다섯 편의 실험을 수행하였다. 실험 결과 윤곽 방위에 대한 공통 제약 범위 각의 크기가 작을수록 윤곽 방위 지각의 정확율이 높은 것으로 나타났다. 운동 중첩 요소의 수를 증가시키거나 요소들 사이의 거리를 변화시키더라도 제약 범위가 일정하다면 윤곽지각의 정확율은 높아지지 않는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 실험 결과는 윤곽 방위에 대한 공통 제약 범위 모형을 지지해주는 것으로 해석될 수 있으며 운동 중첩에 의해 윤곽을 지각하는 과정에 배경 텍스쳐의 밀도 자체보다 운동 중첩에 의해 결정되는 공통 제약 범위 각의 크기가 더 중요한 역할을 할 수 있다는 것을 시사한다.

Nonlinear Optimal Control of an Input-Constrained and Enclosed Thermal Processing System

  • Temperature control of an enclosed thermal system which has many applications including Rapid Thermal Processing (RTP) of semiconductor wafers showed an input-constraint violation for nonlinear controllers due to inherent strong coupling between the elements [1]. In this paper, a constrained nonlinear optimal control design is developed, which accommodates input constraints using the linear algebraic equivalence of the nonlinear controllers, for the temperature control of an enclosed thermal process. First, it will be shown that design of nonlinear controllers is equivalent to solving a set of linear algebraic equations-the linear algebraic equivalence of nonlinear controllers (LAENC). Then an input-constrained nonlinear optimal controller is designed based on that LAENC using the constrained linear least squares method. Through numerical simulations, it is demonstrated that the proposed controller achieves the equivalent performances to the classical nonlinear controllers with less total energy consumption. Moreover, it generates the practical control solution, in other words, control solutions do not violate the input-constraints.

구속연산자에 의한 보정 시스템의 관측성에 관한 연구 (Study on the Observability of Calibration System with a Constraint Oprerator)

  • This paper studies the observability of calibration system with a constraint movement by a constraint operator. The calibration system with the constraint movement need only simple sensing device to check whether the constraint movements are completed within an established range. However, it yields the concern about the poor parameter observability due to the constraint movements. This paper uses the QR-decomposition to find the optimal calibration configurations maximizing the linear independence of rows of a observation matrix. The number of identifiable parameters are examined by the rank of the observation matrix, which represents the parameter observability. The method is applied to a parallel typed machining center and the calibration results are presented. These results verify that the calibration system with low-cost indicators and simple planar table is accurate as well as reliable.

  • 이중의 제한조건을 사용하는 선형제한 최소분산 (Linear Constraint Minimum Variance LCMV) 빔형성 (Beamforming) 방식에서 가중치 벡터가 갱신되는 원리를 기하학적 분석(Geometrical Analysis)을 통하여 분석하였다. 모의실험을 통하여 제안하는 기하학적 분석 방법이 타당함을 나타내었다.

  • In this paper we present a model for the maintenance routing construction and the trainset allocation (maintenance routing problem). The model solves the maintenance routing problem using column generation algorithm which was used to combine constraint programming and linear programming. Ilog-cplex was used to solve the linear programming model and Ilog-solver was used to solve the constraint programming model. The computational experience is also provided.

  • Various linear cost models have been proposed that can be used to determine a sampling plan by attributes. This paper is concerned with this sampling cost model when the probability that the number of nonconforming item is smaller than the break-even quality level is known. In addition to this situation, a constraint by AOQL is considered. Under these conditions, optimal sampling plan which minimize the average cost per lot is suggested.

  • The magnitude of constraint effect $A_{2}$ values were experimentally estimated using displacement according to measuring positions on the non-linear elastic plastic fracture toughness estimate. For 25.4 mm thickness SS400 steel CT specimen, constraint effect $A_{2}$ values we re dependent on specimen configuration and on measured displacement near crack front. Commonly, Estimating constraint effect $A_{2}$ measuring position for displacement should be existed inside plastic region. Therefore, the ${\delta}_{5}$ method was not reliable for evaluation of constraint effect $A_{2}$ values because measuring position for displacement is in elastic region at crack growth initiation in this paper.

  • This paper considers a profit-based unit commitment problem with fuel consumption constraint and maintenance cost, which is one of the key decision problems in electricity industry. The nature of non-linearity inherent in the constraints and objective functions makes the problem intractable which have led many researches to focus on Lagrangian based heuristics. To solve the problem more effectively, we propose mixed integer programming based solution algorithm linearizing the complex non-linear constraints and objectives functions. The computational experiments using the real-world operation data taken from a domestic electricity power generator show that the proposed algorithm solves the given problem effectively.

일반화된 일반상한제약을 갖는 이차원 선형계획 배낭문제 연구 (On a Two Dimensional Linear Programming Knapsack Problem with the Generalized GUB Constraint)

  • We study on a generalization of the two dimensional linear programming knapsack problem with the extended GUB constraint, which was presented in paper Won(2001). We identify some new parametric properties of the generalized problem and derive a solution algorithm based on the identified parametric properties. The solution algorithm has a worst case time complexity of order O($n^2logn$), where n is the total number of variables. We illustrate a numerical example.
