  • The purpose of this study was to analyze basic conditions for the demand estimation erection of lifetime sports facilities. This is described the whole concept of lifetime sports(sport for all) for helping the understanding of its concept correctly. Firstly, second chapter was examined the significance, function and role of lifetime sports in modern society. Secondly, third and forth chapter was examined demand and participation of lifetime sports activities for demand estimation of lifetime sports facilities. Participation rate is on the rise by the increase in income and leisure time to some extent, but after that it stops rising. In other words, the same participation rate persists without additional increase in participation by the changes in time deepening and in the patterns of demand for lifetime sports activities.

  • Today, electrical machine is being large capacitor and EHV(Extra High Voltage) of power equipment is a need of high reliability of insulating matetials. Therefore, it is a need of fixed appraisement of lifetime to used data of breakdown. This paper studied a development of the program for estimation the lifetime of insullating materials and the long-time breakdown voltage by experimentation. The estimation program is based on the "Inverse Power Law", defined V$\^$n/t is constant. After gaining the life exponent n, it is mapping the long-time breakdown voltages. On the base of life exponent, the estimation of lifetime and usefulness of the insulation systems are possible, furthermore easy calculation is possible.

  • In general, aluminum electrolytic capacitors are used in the DC link of PWM inverters fur ac motor drives. The capacitor usually has the shortest lifetime in the system and then determines the lifetime of the inverter system. In this paper, a method of capacitor lifetime estimation is proposed by using an ESR(equivalent series resistance) model and a heat transfer model of capacitor, from which internal operating temperature is estimated. Then, the lifetime is predicted by Arrhenius's equation. A practical example is presented.

  • This paper considers maximum likelihood (ML) estimation of lifetime distribution under stress bounded ramp tests in which the stress is increased linearly from used condition stress to the stress u, pp.r bound. The following assumptions are used: exponential lifetime distribution under a constant stress, an inverse power law relationship between stress and mean of exponential lifetime distribution, and a cumulative exposure model for the effect of changing stress. Likelihood equations for the parameters involved in the model and asymptotic distribution of the estimators are obtained, and a numerical example is given.

  • We present an efficient estimation method of the battery lifetime considering various power consumption profiles in wireless sensor nodes. The power profiles in single and periodic modes and the current dissipations in different operating modes are taken into account to find the total current consumption. Also, the self-discharge rate of a battery is taken into account to estimate the battery lifetime of a given sensor node. Finally we present a governing equation for finding the battery lifetime. We believe the proposed estimation method of the battery lifetime can be an efficient and effective method for low power design of sensor nodes.

  • Accelerated Lifetime Test is a method of estimation of lifetime quality characteristics under operation condition with the accelerated lifetime data obtained under accelerated stress. In this paper we propose estimation method with accelerated lifetime data using quantile regression. We apply the method to real data with Arrhenius and Inverse power model.

  • We shall propose maximum likelihood, Bayesian and generalized maximum likelihood estimation for the reliability of the two-unit hot standby system with exponential lifetime distribution that switch is perfect. Each estimation will be compared numerically in terms of various mission times, parameter values and asymptotic relative efficiency through Monte Carlo simulation.

  • It has been developed to calculate fuel budget for a geostationary communication and broadcasting satellite. It is quite essential that the pre-launch fuel budget estimation must account for the deterministic transfer and drift orbit maneuver requirements. After on-station, the calculation of satellite lifetime should be based on the estimation of remaining fuel and assessment of actual performance. These estimations step from the proper algorithms to produce the prediction of satellite lifetime. This paper concentrates on the fuel estimation method that was studied for calculation of the propellant budget by using the given algorithms. Applications of this method are discussed for a communication and broadcasting satellite.

  • This paper considers a nonparametric estimation of lifetime distribution for ramp stress tests with stress bound under intermittent inspection. The test items are inspected only at specified time points an⊂1 so the collected observations are grouped data. Under the cumulative exposure model, two nonparametric estimation methods of estimating the lifetime distribution at use condition stress are proposed for the situation which the time transformation function relating stress to lifetime is a type of the inverse power law. Each of items is initially put on test under ramp stress and then survivors are put on test under constant stress, where all failures in the Inspection interval are assumed to occur at the midi)oint or the endpoint of that interval. Two proposed estimators of quantile from grouped data consisting of the number of items failed in each inspection interval are numerically compared with the maximum likelihood estimator(MLE) based on Weibull distribution.
