  • The culture of 21c, that is, a century of globalization, will be more mutifarious, and, in the spur of the society based on knowledge, the world will be a simultaneous community. Therefore, in parallel with the globalizational tendencies, each country must develop its own images and designs for their cultural identities. This means a need for those images that gives life to a traditionality of the korea in the diverseness of the culture in the world. Studies and efforts for producing extra values are needed in a view-point of a development of the cloth-design.

플레이어의 현실과 게임내의 교류패턴 (Transaction Pattern between Real Life and Games Centered on Players)

  • 타인과의 교류 능력은 사회생활의 핵심적인 요인이다. 하지만 현실에서는 교류가 제대로 이루어지 않아 의사소통의 어려움을 겪으면서도 게임이라는 인위적으로 만들어진 가상공간에서 가상의 캐릭터와 상호작용을 하는 사람들이 적지 않다. 이러한 의사소통의 부재 문제를 플레이어를 통해서 해결하려면 먼저 플레이어가 적극적으로 현실에서 교류를 할 수 있는 방안을 모색하던가, 또는 게임세계의 장점을 살려 게임 공간을 새로운 교류 장소로 만드는 것이다. 그러기 위해서는 플레이어가 현실과 게임세계에서 타인과의 교류에 어떤 특성을 가지고 있는지에 대한 연구가 선행되어야 할 것이다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 현실과 가상공간에서 플레이어의 교류패턴을 제시시하고자 한다. 이러한 목적을 수행하기 위해서 현장중심적인 접근 방법인 교류분석 도구인 자아상태 패턴을 나타내는 이고그램을 채택하여 연구를 수행하였다. 분설결과에 따르면 플레이어는 두 공간에서 교류패턴의 차이를 보였으며 그러한 차이의 해석을 위하야 요인분석을 적용하여 유의미적 관계를 해석하였다.

세계 주요 의류수출국의 의류수출 패턴 (The Pattern of Clothing Export in Leading Countries)

  • The objective of the study is to review trends of clothing export in important countries of the world and thus to know the present stage of clothing export in Korea. For the purpose, changes of export amount, competitiveness and product life cycle were analysed in the countries from the 1960's to the 1990's. The results are as following: First, on the aspect of export amount, industrialized countries lost the lead to newly industrializing countries from the 1960's. Developing countries, as China, win the lead. Second, on the competitiveness aspect, industrialized countries lost competitiveness to newly industrializing countries before the 1960's. And newly industrializing countries were outpaced by China in the export competitiveness from the early 1990's. Third, on the aspect of product life cycle, industrialized countries go first through each period of product life cycle, introduction, growth, maturity and decline, and they all, excluding Japan, sustained period of Maturity for a long time. newly industrializing countries and developing countries go orderly through each period of product life cycle after industrialized countries. As to Korea, duration of each period was short. Specially characteristics of decline period appeared partly in the early 1990's. From the results, the theory of product life cycle, helping to explain changes in production and trade in new product lines, estimated to applicable to clothing export. The phenomena, Italy, Hong Kong and America sustain high competitiveness in the world clothing market for a long time, is needed to be studied carefully. The study about strong points in their clothing industries and competitiveness drive program be to influence Korean export policy in the future.

Digital image-based plant phenotyping: a review

  • With the current rapid growth and increase in the world's population, the demand for nutritious food and fibers and fuel will increase. Therefore, there is a serious need for the use of breeding programs with the full potential to produce high-yielding crops. However, existing breeding techniques are unable to meet the demand criteria even though genotyping techniques have significantly progressed with the discovery of molecular markers and next-generation sequencing tools, and conventional phenotyping techniques lag behind. Well-organized high-throughput plant phenotyping platforms have been established recently and developed in different parts of the world to address this problem. These platforms use several imaging techniques and technologies to acquire data for quantitative studies related to plant growth, yield, and adaptation to various types of abiotic or biotic stresses (drought, nutrient, disease, salinity, etc.). Phenotyping has become an impediment in genomics studies of plant breeding. In recent years, phenomics, an emerging domain that entails characterizing the full set of phenotypes in a given species, has appeared as a novel approach to enhance genomics data in breeding programs. Imaging techniques are of substantial importance in phenomics. In this study, the importance of current imaging technologies and their applications in plant phenotyping are reviewed, and their advantages and limitations in phenomics are highlighted.

조기사망에 따른 상실년수를 활용한 우리 나라 질병부담 추정 연구 (Burden of Disease in Korea: Years of Life Lost due to Premature Deaths)

  • Objectives : The aim of this study was to estimate the burden of disease through an analysis of Years of Life Lost due to premature deaths, one component of the Disability-Adjusted Life years (DALY). In addition, the cause of death statistics were adjusted to improve validity, and the results were compared with those of the Global Burden of Disease (GBD). Methods : In closely fellowing the approach taken in the original GBD study, most of the explicit assumptions and the value judgments were not changed. However, the statistics for some problematic concerns such as deaths of infants or those due to senility, were adjusted. Deaths, standard expected years of life lost (SEYLL), and potential years of life lost (PYLL) were computed using vital registration data compiled by the National Statistical Office. Results : The burden for males is 1.8 and 2.3 times higher than that for females, according to SEYLL and PYLL, respectively. The proportions of deaths due to Group I, II, and III causes are 5.4%, 80.4%, and 14.3%, respectively, for PYLL, but in a major shift from Group II to III they are 6.3%, 66.2%, and 27.5%, respectively, for SEYLL. The proportion of Group III causes in Korea, 27.5%, is extremely high when compared to 10.1% for the world, 7.6% for developed countries, and 10.7% for developing countries. Conclusions : Estimation results showed that the total burden due to premature deaths is smaller than that for the entire world but larger than that for developed countries. The disease structure of Korea has changed to resemble that of developed countries. Also, an overly large portion of the total burden in Korea stems from injuries arising from car accidents.

Quality of Life in Older Adults with Cochlear Implantation: Can It Be Equal to That of Healthy Older Adults?

  • Background and Objectives: This study aimed to evaluate the audiologic results after cochlear implantation (CI) in older patients and the degree of improvement in their quality of life (QoL). Subjects and Methods: Patients over 65 years old who underwent CI at implant center in Bozyaka Training and Research Hospital were included in this study (n=54; 34 males and 20 females). The control group was patient over 65 years old with normal hearing (n=54; 34 males and 20 females). We administered three questionnaires [World Health Organization Quality of Life-BREF (WHOQOL-BREF), World Health Organization Quality of Life-OLD (WHOQOL-OLD)], and Geriatric Depression Scale (GDS) to evaluate the QoL, CIrelated effects on activities of daily life, and social activities in all the subjects. Moreover, correlations between speech recognition and the QoL scores were evaluated. The duration of implant use and comorbidities were also examined as potential factors affecting QoL. Results: The patients had remarkable improvements (the mean score of postoperative speech perception 75.7%) in speech perception after CI. The scores for the WHOQOL-OLD and WHOQOL-BREF questionnaire responses were similar in both the study and control groups, except those for a two subdomains (social relations and social participation). The patients with longer-term CI had higher scores than those with short-term CI use. In general, the changes in GDS scores were not significant (p<0.05). Conclusions: The treatment of hearing loss with CI conferred significant improvement in patient's QoL (p<0.01). The evaluation of QoL can provide multidimensional insights into a geriatric patient's progress and, therefore, should be considered by audiologists.

2022 개정 중등 가정과 교육과정의 개발 방향과 전략, 미완의 과제: 교육과정 개발 경험을 통한 성찰적 관찰을 중심으로 (Development Direction & Strategy for the 2022 Revised National Level Home Economics Curriculum and Unfinished Tasks: Focusing on Reflective Observation of Curriculum Development Experience)

  • 이 연구는 2022 개정 가정과 교육과정 개발 참여라는 경험을 스스로 질문하고 검토하고 숙고하면서 재평가하는 성찰적 관찰의 방법으로 접근하여 가정과 교육과정에 대한 실제적 지식의 구축을 연구자 개인의 배움으로 이끌어내며, 동시에 가정과 교육과정에 대한 실제적 지식과 이론을 구축해 나가기 위한 목적으로 전개되었다. 그 결과 다음과 같은 결론을 도출했다. 첫째, "모든 학습자들은 예측 불가능한 미래사회에서도 여전히 자신과 주변, 그리고 세상이 더 나은 삶을 살도록 하기 위해 자신이 할 수 있는 최선의 행동을 선택하면서 살 것이다." 둘째, 전체 교육과정 구조에서 가정과교육의 가치는 "가정과교육은 미래세대가 더 나은 삶, 즉 더 좋은 삶을 영위하게 하는데 필요한 힘(역량)을 함양하도록 하는 생활교과"이다. 셋째, "예측 불가능한 미래사회에서도 모든 인간과 세상을 지속 가능하도록 하기 위해서는 미래 교육에서 의도적인 학습의 영역으로 청소년들에게 'Good Life Literacy'를 길러주기 위한 교육이 핵심이 되어야 하며, 가정과교육은 이를 위한 핵심적 교과이다"로 도출했다. 추후 연구에서는 이와 같은 실무행위에 대한 성찰적 실천을 통해 구축한 가정과 교육과정에 대한 실제적 이론이 더 많은 경험적 연구로 검증되기를 기대한다.

Cyber World의 Moving Brand Identity에 관한 연구 (Moving Brand Identity in Cyber World)

  • Cyber world는 유기적으로 살아 있어, 계속 진화하며, 인간과 상호 소통하면서, 컴퓨팅과 네트워크의 단말을 통하여 가상과 현실의 인간 생활에 직간접적으로 연결된다. Cyber world에서 brand는 심벌과 로고타입 등 디자인으로 표현되는 BI(Brand Identity)를 통해서 창조되며, 디지털 기술의 발전에 맞춰서 발전해 오고 있다. 본 논문은 기업과 조직의 브랜드 가치를 향상시키고, 빠른 속도로 확산되는 cyber world의 mobile 환경에 적응하는 동영상을 개발하여 나타내고자 한다. Brand identity의 개념, brand identity의 구조, 통합적 brand identity 연구를 시작으로, 해외 Swisscom, HP, BBC 사례에서 적용한 brand identity의 개념과 구현을 연구하였다. 그리고, 가치 향상을 위한 moving brand identity를 위해 본인 작품인 ACM SIG CHI 2015, HCI Korea 2014, Aegis Ship 'Yulgok YiYi'의 설계 내용과 개발한 결과물을 통해 moving brand identity에 적용하여 개발하였다. 본 논문은 cyber world에서 moving brand identity를 연구하여 기업가치의 향상과, 우리나라의 브랜딩 향상 전략에 기여 할 것이다.

2011 대구세계육상선수권대회 운동역학 프로젝트 수행 방안 (On the Project of the Sport Biomechanics of IAAF World Championships Daegu 2011)

  • The aim of IAAF's Biomechanics project, initially launched at the 1987 World Championships in Rome, is to support athletes and coaches in the optimization and improvement of their training and competition performance. The IAF and the IAAF supports biomechanical projects, as a service to their Member Federations, starting from the IAAF World Championships in Rome 1987. In 1997, at the IAAF World Championships of Athens. In 1995, at the IAAF World Championships in Goteborg and in co-operation with the Swedish Sport Institute of Karlstad and under the leadership of Anders Bergstrom a biomechanical research on "Throws" was conducted. In 2005, at the IAAF World Championships in Helsinki on 100m - Pole vault, High Jump, Triple Jump, Javelin, under the leadership of Prof. Paavo Komi. The IAAF published the final report in 2008 with a supplement of NSA. In 2007, at the IAAF World Championships of Osaka, in co-operation with Osaka University of Health and Sport Sciences and under the leadership of Prof. Michiyoshi Ae the IAAF received a final report on; short sprint, distance running, high jump, long jump, shot put and javelin. In 2009, at the IAAF World Championships of Berlin, in co-operation with the DLV and the leadership of Helmar Hommel (GER). The purpose of this study is to draw up a plan to perform an effective biomechanics project at 2011 IAAF World championship in Daegu.
