A Study on the Locational Facilities and Utilization Characteristics in the Downtown Streets of a Small Town - Focused on Downtown Streets in Yeongam-eup - (소도시 중심가의 입지시설 및 이용특성에 관한 연구 - 영암읍 중심가로변을 대상으로 -)

  • The purpose of this study is to examine and investigate the characteristics of locational facilities and the purchase and leisure patters of residents with its focus on downtown streets of Yeongam-eup which is a eup-level small town. In the subject downtown streets, commercial and residential functions coexisted. While most locational facilities were small-scale sale(buy), food(eat), and employment(public institutions) facilities which were needed for neighborhood life and supporting daily life, the lack of facilities which supported leisure life(enjoy) and represented small town identity was found. The most common frequency of using downtown streets by residents was 'almost everyday'; the most common intention to use was 'to purchase daily things'; and the most common purchase good was 'groceries', followed by farming machines, books, and stationery. It suggested that the use of downtown streets was characterized by daily neighborhood life. In particular, it was found that expensive goods(more than 500,000 won) were commonly purchased in neighboring middle or large cities. Thus, it is necessary to consider the option and professionality of goods. Finally, it is necessary to consider residents' accessibility through reorganizing a street form from car-focused to pedestrian-focused.

Relationships Among Participation Satisfaction, Organizational Effectiveness and Organizational Commitment in Leisure Sports Participants of Police Organization (경찰조직 여가스포츠참여자의 참여만족과 조직유효성 및 조직헌신도의 관계)

  • The purpose of this study was to identify organizational effectiveness and organizational commitment according to participation satisfaction in leisure sports activities of police organization. To do this, the researcher selected five police stations using convenience sampling method targeting the police officers who participated in leisure sports activities among those police officers who were working in Gwangju Metropolitan City as of 2009. And as for the subjects of this study, total 200 police officers were sampled. Excluding 27 responses which were insincerely answered or not returned, 173 questionnaires were used for final analysis. The results were made as follows. First, the results from analysis revealed that contribution to public goods, social recognition, and individual accomplishment, which are sub variables of participation satisfaction, had influences on both job satisfaction and organization immersion which are sub variables of organization effectiveness. Second, results from analysis showed that value commitment and continuance commitment which are sub variables of organizational commitment were affected by contribution to public goods social recognition and public goods individual accomplishment, respectively. Third, the results from analysis revealed that both job satisfaction and organization immersion which are sub variables of organizational effectiveness affected value contribution, and that, only organization immersion had an influence on the continuance commitment.

  • This study conducted a online survey (URL), DM, , E-mail, etc. were used to sample 371 people using the standard convenience sampling method, and 320 valid samples excluding 51 unfaithful respondents were analyzed by applying causality (SEM). First, the hypothesis was adopted with the influence of positive (+) on the emotional response of the human brand's goods value. Second, the hypothesis was adopted that emotional response has a positive (+) effect on consumption behavior. Third, the human brand's goods value has a positive (+) effect on consumption behavior, and the hypothesis was partially adopted. Finally, the indirect effect of emotional response in the relationship between goods value and consumption behavior was found to be statistically significant.

  • The change from people's work-centered values to their leisure-centered values leads into the change in their life styles. In the circumstance, people's participation into sports activities seems to be an important means to improve their quality of life. Along with the change of the times, more people take part in water leisure sports including kayak. As a result, people's needs for various designs of water leisure goods are on the rise. In this sense, it is necessary to come up with strategies to actively respond to such a change. In this paper, we proposed a user decision-making support system for designing kayaks for leisure. Based on the previous studies and literatures and a questionnaire survey with consumers, it chose the sensitivity related to design. By conducting factor analysis and evaluation, it drew sensitivity and proposed kayak design layouts in the aspect of customer sensitivity preference. It is expected that the result of this study will be used not only for kayak design, but as a design guide for the equipment of water leisure sports, and will be applied for user-friendly design.

Study on Textile Product Development and Song HaYoung Class Satisfaction through Capstone Design Curriculum (캡스톤디자인 교육과정을 통한 텍스타일 상품개발 제안 및 수업만족도 고찰)

  • Capstone design is a creative and comprehensive educational program requiring practical adaptation skills for the industry. The purpose of this study was to analyze the results of design development, lectures and curriculum satisfaction for textile fashion products based on four years of capstone design curriculum from 2015 to 2018. The curriculum consists of 26 groups of 72 students and a total of 26 final results were obtained via industry-university cooperation. The materials for product design development included differentiated clothing, leisure goods, bags, dog goods, smart goods, interior goods and recycled products based on textiles. The degree of satisfaction with lectures involving the capstone design class was very high, with 4.2 out of 5.0 when the number of students was less than 10. However, when the number of students was 20 or higher and the number of students was large, the level of satisfaction was below 3.88. Therefore, the capstone design class comprising less than 10 students was better at individual teaching and teamwork. In terms of satisfaction with capstone design curriculum, the respondents indicated that the teaching method addressing the needs of industry and academia facilitated practical learning. It was very helpful in improving competency related to the design and development majors and future employment. The capstone design curriculum was effective in the training for practical design development and planning.

  • With the recent rapid growth in the number of people who enjoy marine and leisure activities in Korea, the marine leisure industry faces good opportunities for development. Korean brands are in between them. In this situation, new and innovative products related to an inflatable tube, which is one of the most popular marine leisure items, will help to increase sales of domestic companies and to pioneer a new market. Research methods are largely divided into 4: investigation, analysis & synthesis, development and evaluation. This paper introduces a "tube cushion" which is an inflatable tube covered by fabrics. It can be functioned at home 365 days a year as a cushion or a children's plaything. Tactile fabrics, neoprene and air-mesh, are used as the cover with a zipper, making it easy to open and close. Moreover, by putting together tubes and connecting them with snap fastener attached straps, the cushion can be transformed into a chair, a table, a tunnel, a train, and so on, serving as a creative plaything for children. With this paper, it is expected that new and innovative items differentiated from others, like this crossover tube cushion, will help to create a 'Blue Ocean' market for the marine leisure industry from the long-term perspective.

A Study on Lifestyle and Sportswear Benefits Sought according to Consuming Desire of Sports (스포츠 소비 욕구에 따른 라이프스타일 특성과 스포츠 의류 추구혜택 특성)

  • The purpose of this study were 1) to subdivide sportswear consumers according to consuming desire of sports 2) to identify the differences in lifestyle and sportswear benefits sought. The data were collected via a questionnaire from 312 consumer who have been purchased sportswear and living in Seoul. The results of this study were as follows: 1) Sportswear consumers were divided into four segments: sports mania, attractive body pursuers, passive followers, mind purifiers. 2) Six realms of lifestyle such as clothing, food, home & interior, leisure life, consumption and sense of values were factor-analysed separately, and lifestyle factors which showed significant differences among segments are I) fashion ostentation in the realm of clothing ii) western style, health-oriented in the realm of food, iii) sports life enjoyment, sociable life, hoped-for foreign travel in the realm of leisure life, iv) brand oriented, price comparison, sale goods preference in the realm of consumption, and v) realist, interpersonal skills, strong personality, individualism in the realm of values 3) Five factors of sportswear benefits sought which showed significant differences among segments are comfortability/practicality, ideal body/good-looking, individual character, fashion! ostentation, and brand oriented.

Analysis of Service Occupation Types and Training Programs of Services for the Aged in Busan (실버서비스를 위한 전문인력개발 프로그램의 분석)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to analyze service occupation types and to develop training programs for the aged. Methods: This study used descriptive study design. The research process consisted of three stages: first, identified the demand of service manpower for the aged; second, investigated present jobs and education programs in Korea and Japan; and last, developed service jobs and education programs for the aged. Results: Potential users considered "health management" to be the most important area. They thought "providing job" as second most important. According to the result of analyzing Korean policies, there were 9 service occupations in 5domains. So, we derived 10 occupations such as 'daily living manager', 'care manager', 'care worker', 'health manager', 'education specialist', 'leisure manager', 'good manager', 'housing manager', 'financial specialist' and 'retirement consultant' in 5domains as healthcare, leisure, goods, housing and finance. Finally, we developed their tailored training programs. Conclusion: According to this study, there should be various occupations qualified by the government, and training programs should be settled. And healthcare providers must included in developing standardized training programs.

The relationship between Consumption Behavior Characteristics and Golf Consumption Behavior According to the influence of Important Hitters of Golf Participants

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the influence of golf participants' major hitting factors on their consumption behavior characteristics and golf consumption behavior. To achieve this objective, the study subjects were set as the population aged 20 years or older who use golf courses and driving ranges in Gwangju Metropolitan City and Jeollanam-do, and then 158 males and 172 females using cluster random sampling. A total of 300 persons were selected as the study subjects. The survey tool was the questionnaire method, and among the tools that had already been used to verify the reliability and validity of the questionnaire in domestic and foreign previous studies, it was reused or modified or supplemented according to the variables of this study. The collected data were winter-processed according to the purpose of analysis using the SPSS statistical program as follows. The results obtained through this process are as follows. First, it was found that the major players participating in golf had partial differences in the characteristics of golf consumption behavior. Second, it was found that the major hitters participating in golf had a partial difference in their golf consumption behavior. Third, it was found that the golf consumption behavior characteristics of golf participants partially affected the golf consumption behavior.
