SCORM 기반 반복 학습 콘텐츠 및 문항 생성 시스템 설계 (Design of Iterative Learning Contents and Items Generation System based on SCORM)

  • 기존 연구에서는 문제은행을 만들고 평가시스템을 구현하여 학습자의 성취도를 평가하고자 했다. 그러나 문항을 만들거나 이미 만들어진 문항을 가져오는 과정에서 문제은행을 구현하는 데, 시간과 노력이 많이 소요되었다. 또 종합평가 위주의 모의고시 형의 문항이 평가문항으로 제시 되다보니 소단원의 학습 주제에 대한 성취도 평가가 실시되기 어려웠다. 소단원이나 수학 원리등을 학습하는 데 있어서, 평가에 대한 문제점을 개선하기 위하여, 본 논문은 문항 형태(Item Form)를 이용한 문제은행을 SCORM2004의 실행환경 RTE에서 데이터 모델 인터액션으로 구현한다. 학습관리 시스템에 의하여 문항 형태의 정의에 따라 자동 생성된, 평가문항에 대한 성취도 검사에 있어서, 보다 객관적인 판단을 위하여 확신 인자 함수(Confidence Factor Function)를 사용한다. 실험을 위한 콘텐츠로 수학의 삼각 함수를 두 개의 실험 대비군에게 현장 적용을 하여 제안된 문항 생성 시스템을 이용한 교육이 유의성이 있음을 보였다.

마네킹 모델과 컴퓨터 시뮬레이터를 이용한 정맥주사 실습교육의 효과 비교 (Comparison of Training Effectiveness for IV Injections: Intravenous (IV) Arm Model versus Computer Simulator)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to compare the effectiveness of training using an intravenous (IV) arm model versus a computer simulator for IV injections. Method: Study was a quasi-experimental study conducted with 106 nursing students. Participants were divided into two groups: the IV Arm Group using a mannequin arm model (control group) and the Computer Simulator Group using the Virtual IV demonstration (experimental group). Theoretical lectures and video presentations on IV injections were given to both groups. Each group went through the training practice using the IV arm or computer simulator. After the completion of training, questionnaires were given to the students to evaluate their learning attitudes and experiences, self-confidence in IV injection, and satisfaction with the training materials. Results: Student satisfaction with the training materials including the reality, usefulness, and educational effects showed notable differences between the two groups with the Computer Simulator group reporting more positive effects that the IV Arm group. However, there was no statistical difference between the two groups in the categories of learning attitude, learning experience, or self-confidence. Conclusion: While there was a differences in strengths and weaknesses of the two methods, both methods should be considered for practice and further study needs to be done on educational effectiveness.

장애인활동보조인의 심폐소생술 실습교육 효과 (The Effect of CPR Practice Education of Personal Assistants for the Disabled)

  • Purpose: This study was conducted to identify the effects of cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) practice education on CPR knowledge, attitude, confidence, learning satisfaction and performance of the personal assistants for the disabled. Methods: This is a quasi-experimental study with a non-equivalent control group. The participants were 62 personal assistants for the disabled. Thirty-one subjects were assigned to an experimental group and the remaining subjects were assigned to a control group. The date collected were analyzed using the IBM SPSS Statistics 20.0 program by descriptive statistics, $x^2$-test, Fisher's exact test, and t-test. Results: CPR practice education was found to have a meaningful effect on CPR knowledge (p<.001), learning satisfaction (p<.001), and performance (p<.001) of the personal assistants for the disabled. Conclusion: Considering these results, it would be useful to develop CPR practice curriculum to enhance CPR knowledge, attitude, confidence, learning satisfaction and performance of the personal assistants for the disabled.

교육소외 학생들을 대상으로 확률 이해수준에 관한 연구 (Development of Probabilistic Thinking of the Minority Students with Low Achievement & Low SES)

  • Since research has barely been done on the minority with low-achievement & low-SES in probability, this research attempted to search the change of their thinking level in the classes of probability and motivate them on the mathematical learning to feel confident in mathematics. We can say that the problems of the educational discriminations are due to the overlook on the individual conditions, situations, and environments. Therefore, in order to resolve some discrimination, 4 students who belonged to the minority group, engaged in the research, based on 10 units of the instructional materials designed for the research. As a result, for the student's thinking level, it was observed that they were improved from the 1st to the 3rd level in probability. Also, the researcher found that the adequate use of the encouragement, the praise, the direct explanation, and the scaffolding enabled them to prompt their learning motives and the increased responsibility on the learning. As time passed, the participants could share their mathematical knowledge and its concept with others, in the increased confidence.

간호 대학생의 시뮬레이션 학습이 간호역량에 미치는 효과 (Effects of Simulation Learning on Nursing Competency in Nursing College Students)

  • 본 연구는 시뮬레이션 학습과 간호역량의 관계를 확인하기 위하여 국내 4개 대학에서 시뮬레이션 수업을 수강한 경험이 있는 간호학과 대학생 130명을 대상으로 온라인을 통해 자료를 수집했다. 대상자의 일반적 특성 및 시뮬레이션 수업에 대한 유용성과 중요성 인식, 만족도와 자신감, 수업방식, 설계, 그리고 간호역량을 자가보고식으로 조사했다. 시뮬레이션에 대한 유용성과 중요성 인식은 간호역량의 사정, 임상적 판단과 양의 관련성이 있었고 학습자의 만족도와 자신감은 전반적인 간호역량 및 환자안전과 양의 관련성이 있었다. 교수자의 수업방식과 설계 역시 전반적인 간호역량과 양의 관련성이 있었으며, 나이와 설계는 간호역량을 21.5% 설명하는 예측요인이었다. 간호역량을 개발하기 위한 시뮬레이션 적용에는 참여자의 만족도와 자신감을 고려할 필요가 있으며, 교수자의 수업방식과 설계를 체계적으로 다양화 시킬 필요가 있다.

HIV/AIDS 상담간호사를 위한 교육 프로그램의 개발과 적용 (Development and Operation of an Education Program for HIV/AIDS Counseling Nurses)

  • Purpose: This aim of the present study was to assess a newly developed education program for HIV/AIDS counseling nurses. Methods: An education program was developed based on literature reviews, previous project analysis, focus group interview and expert meetings. The program comprised of 3 levels: basic, advanced, and intensive, which included 80, 70, and 60 hours of education, respectively. From May to December in 2012, 17 counseling nurses completed the program and we evaluated their learning achievements, attitudes towards AIDS, confidence in consultation, empathic ability, and training sessions. We also measured the nurses' satisfaction with the program before and after completion. Results: After completing a monthly education program lasting 12-15 hours, the nurses' mean learning achievement was 88.5%, 88.3% and 91.4% out of the basic, advanced, and intensive levels, respectively. Although the nurses' attitudes towards AIDS did not change, their confidence and empathic abilities increased following the basic and intensive components of the programs. Satisfaction with the educational sessions and program operation was 4.23 out of 5.0. Conclusion: This newly developed education program for HIV/AIDS counseling nurses promoted learning achievements as well as, confidence and empathic ability in consultation. HIV/AIDS counseling nurses should receive continuous education opportunities to enhance their potential.

A novel visual tracking system with adaptive incremental extreme learning machine

  • This paper presents a novel discriminative visual tracking algorithm with an adaptive incremental extreme learning machine. The parameters for an adaptive incremental extreme learning machine are initialized at the first frame with a target that is manually assigned. At each frame, the training samples are collected and random Haar-like features are extracted. The proposed tracker updates the overall output weights for each frame, and the updated tracker is used to estimate the new location of the target in the next frame. The adaptive learning rate for the update of the overall output weights is estimated by using the confidence of the predicted target location at the current frame. Our experimental results indicate that the proposed tracker can manage various difficulties and can achieve better performance than other state-of-the-art trackers.

사이버 가정학습이 자기주도적 학습능력 향상에 미치는 효과 (Effectiveness of Cyber Home Study for Improving Self-Directed Learning Ability in Mathematics)

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate effectiveness of the cyber home study to improve the self-directed learning ability. For this study, 21 middle school students took voluntarily part in the 4 weeks cyber home study in Wulsan teaching & learning center and 3 students were interviewed among them. The results of this study were as follows; First, the 4-weeks experimental cyber home study is shown to be effective for improving the self-directed learning ability, specialty for the intermediate and low level students, Second, it is shown that the cyber home study enable students to have positive attitude as well as interest and confidence in the mathematical learning.

웹기반 가상시뮬레이션 학습이 응급구조과 학생의 학습몰입, 문제해결능력, 학업적 자기효능감에 미치는 영향 (Effect of web-based virtual simulation learning on learning flow, problem-solving ability, and academic self-efficacy of paramedicine students)

  • Purpose: This study aimed to explore the use of web-based virtual simulations to improve the learning flow, problem-solving ability, and academic self-efficacy of paramedicine students. Methods: This study used a pre-post comparison design with 40 pamedicine students at one university. the participants were third grade students and participated in web based virtual simulation(vSim®). The difference between the pre-post was analyzed using a Paired Sample t-test with SPSS 26.0. Results: After web based virtual simulation using vSim® program than before, significantly higher learning flow(t=12.74, p<.001), problem-solving process(t=5.78, p<.001), academic self-efficacy(t=2.77, p<.001), Paramedic-Care Skills Confidence(t=6.30, p<.001). Conclusion: The results indicated the positive effects of web-based virtual simulation(vSim®) learning method and suggests implications for learners and instructors.

대학교양 영어수업의 협동학습이 영어말하기 능력향상과 정의적 성과에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Cooperative Learning in College English Class on the Improvement of English Speaking Ability and Affects)

  • 본 연구는 기존 영어교재 및 학습법의 한계를 뛰어넘어, 교수의 비중을 줄이고 대학생들의 협동학습을 통해 언어감각 발전을 증진시키는 것을 연구목적으로 한다. 본 연구에서는 대학교양 영어수업의 협동학습이 영어말하기 능력향상과 정의적 성과에 미치는 영향을 분석하기 위해 서울소재 K대학 대학생 50명을 연구대상으로 하여, 2018년 3월 2일부터 6월 30일까지 약 4개월에 걸쳐, 직접 영어말하기를 위한 협동학습을 진행하고, 정의적 성과를 검증하였다 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 대학교양 영어수업의 협동학습은 대학생의 영어말하기 능력 향상(정확성, 유창성, 복잡성)에 차이가 발생하였다. 세부요인별로는 정확성, 유창성, 복잡성순으로 차이가 발생하였다. 둘째, 대학교양 영어수업의 협동학습은 대학생의 정의적 성과 중 학습자신감과 학습흥미에 차이가 있었지만, 학습태도와 학습동기에는 차이가 발생하지 않았다. 셋째, 대학교양 영어수업의 협동학습은 영어말하기 능력향상(정확성, 유창성, 복잡성)이 정의적 성과의 학습자신감과 학습흥미에 미치는 영향은 차이가 발생하였지만, 학습태도와 학습동기에는 차이가 발생하지 않았다.
