  • This research has analyzed the differentiated influence of organizational variables(an organization's learning culture and organizational support networks) and personal variables(the individual's motivation to learn and self-efficacy) on the process of gaining and using of knowledge. These two variables have been regarded as the major variables for the successful learning of 6Sigma, according to Social Cognitive Theory. In addition, this research has proven the role structure of the abovementioned two variables through a suitable methodology(Hierarchical Linear Model). In regard to this methodology, the different hierarchical level of the personal variable and organizational variable was especially focused on, and the effect of interaction between the high level and the low level was considered in detail. Considering the current situation, in that the importance of organizational factor and personal factor has been emphasized but the accurate role of each variable has not been verified, the research model is thought to help to establish an effective strategy to implement 6 Sigma.

기업조직의 유기성과 학습문화가 동적역량과 기업성과에 미치는 영향에 관한 실증연구 (An Empirical Study on the Effect of Organic Structure and Learning Culture on Dynamic Competence and Corporate Performance)

  • 본 연구는 기업조직의 학습문화가 동적역량에 어떻게 영향을 미치며 동적역량이 기업의 학습문화와 기업성과 간의 관계에서 매개효과가 있는지 분석하고, 그 연구결과를 기업실무에 적용할 수 있는지 검증해보고자 하였다. 첫째, 기업조직의 구조가 유기적일수록 재배치역량과 학습역량이 높아지는 것으로 나타났다. 유기적인 기업조직을 가진 집단은 공식적인 처리방식이나 프로세스에 집착하지 않는 관행이 있기 때문에 외부변화에 능동적으로 대응할 수 있는 능력이 존재함을 알 수 있었다. 둘째, 기업조직의 학습문화는 동적역량 중에서 재배치역량에 유의한 정(+)의 영향이 있음을 확인할 수 있었는데 개인수준과 집단수준의 학습문화가 구축되어 있는 기업조직일수록 특히 집단수준의 학습문화가 구축되어 있는 조직일수록 재배치역량이 높아짐을 볼 수 있었다. 셋째, 동적역량의 두 가지 하위요소는 모두 기업성과에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 동적역량이 기업성과에 미치는 직접적인 효과는 확인하였으나 학습문화와 관련된 동적역량의 매개효과는 없는 것으로 나타났다.

  • The safety culture of an organization is the product of individual and group values, attitudes, perceptions, competencies, and patterns of behavior that determine the commitment, the style and proficiency, and an organization's health and safety management. A good safety culture includes effective, appropriate safety management systems; strong safety leadership & commitment from management; participation and involvement of the workforce; and organizational learning and continuous improvement. This paper will introduce the safety culture inspection standards and process in Korea Railway. The main purpose is to get a better understanding of safety culture and to develop measuring tool. First of all we developed the composition factor of safety culture and the question set. And we prepared the base of computerization of safety culture measurement by developing of evaluation standards and weighted value.

임상간호사의 근거기반실무 실행 구조모형 (Structural Model of Evidence-Based Practice Implementation among Clinical Nurses)

  • Purpose: This study was conducted to develop and test a structural model of evidence-based practice (EBP) implementation among clinical nurses. The model was based on Melnyk and Fineout-Overholt's Advancing Research and Clinical Practice through Close Collaboration model and Rogers' Diffusion of Innovations theory. Methods: Participants were 410 nurses recruited from ten different tertiary hospitals in Korea. A structured self-report questionnaire was used to assess EBP knowledge/skills, EBP beliefs, EBP attitudes, organizational culture & readiness for EBP, dimensions of a learning organization and organizational innovativeness. Collected data were analyzed using SPSS/WINdows 20.0 and AMOS 20.0 program. Results: The modified research model provided a reasonable fit to the data. Clinical nurses' EBP knowledge/skills, EBP beliefs, and the organizational culture & readiness for EBP had statistically significant positive effects on the implementation of EBP. The impact of EBP attitudes was not significant. The dimensions of the learning organization and organizational innovativeness showed statistically significant negative effects on EBP implementation. These variables explained 32.8% of the variance of EBP implementation among clinical nurses. Conclusion: The findings suggest that not only individual nurses' knowledge/skills of and beliefs about EBP but organizational EBP culture should be strengthened to promote clinical nurses' EBP implementation.

인과지도를 활용한 건설 안전사고 원인 분석 : 안전문화 관점 (A Cause Analysis of the Construction Incident Using Causal Loop Diagram : Safety Culture Perspective)

  • Unlike research focused on existing technologies and individual errors to analyze the causes of incidents, this study approached them from an organization and culture. And this study is not a one way study but cyclical study what can track cause down using causal loop diagram methodology. Four diagnostic criteria for the negative state of the safety culture : secretive, blame, failure to learning, and incremental learning, combine literature study and expert opinion to derive 41 variables. Connecting these variable make 4 causal loop diagrams and total causal loop diagram. Case accumulation in secretive, accident report in blame, knowledge accumulation in failure to learning, near miss discovery in incremental learning are the main variables. Safety incident is the objective variable by classifying them into 4 stages in total loop, leading track as the most affect is case accumulation, and Step 4 as you can see accident report and near miss discovery are the result of tracking down the cause. This study can be used as a basis for improving the management priority and the system in incident prevention.

  • Modern organizations, both complicated and complex, operate in an economic climate of· turbulence and rapid change. And Today's healthcare environment is changing, driven by demographic, environmental. social, political and technological forces. In actual practice, the organization usually depend on several factors such as economic state of organization, managerial strategies, a synthesis of several theories that reflect individual biases, specific circumstances, and practical realities. These rapidly changing healthcare environment and professional nursing practice need a strategy for the organizational development and goal attainment. An understanding of organizational culture could help managers enhance or expand their management strategy, thus increasing the probability of their success in the organization. Organizational culture is an abstract, yet potent managerial concept. With roots in several disciplines, several perspectives and definitions of organizational culture have emerged. The concept of organizational culture has been rapidly introduced into the academic and organizational world, with the much attention to the excellent companies that have continued rapid grow th despite the overall world economic recession in the late of 1970s. Organizational culture is the combination of the symbols, language, assumptions, and behaviors that overtly manifest an organization's norm and values. It is the taken-for-granted and shared meanings people assign to their social surroundings that can have a profound effect on an organizaitonal decision making and performance. For attaining a organizational goal and developing organization, it is necessary to put emphasis on developing organizational culture. It has to set organizational culture well understood by its members as an instrument to achieve the organizational goals. Both Manager and staff can focus and act on the values identified. Also, managers will exhibit better decision making capabilities because they are guided by perception of the organizational values. Therefore, understanding of organizational culture could give a strategy for organizational development that assist hiring personnel, orienting new comers, facilitating organizational change and promoting learning and so on. But their is few study on nursing organizational culture in Korea. Moreover they have not had a clear definition of Korean nursing organizational culture. Therefore, it is necessary to lay down definition of Korean nursing organizational culture and fine out real factor of Korean nursing culture. For defining a definition of Korean nursing organizational culture, this study assessed several definitions of organizational culture, factors of culture, types of culture, and functions of culture through book review.

연구개발 직군의 실행공동체 영향요인이 만족도 및 학습문화 활성화에 미치는 영향:집단 성숙도에 따른 비교 분석 (The Effect of CoP(Community of Practice) Influence Factors on Satisfaction and Learning Culture Activation in R&D Groups: Based on Comparison Analysis by Group Maturity)

  • 본 연구는 연구개발 직군의 실행공동체 영향요인이 공동체 활동 만족도와 조직 내 학습문화 활성화에 미치는 관계를 분석하고, 실행공동체의 성숙도에 따른 성숙 집단과 미성숙 집단의 비교를 통해 기업의 실행공동체 담당자들에게 연구개발 직군의 실행공동체 활성화를 위한 시사점을 제시하고자 했다. 이를 위해 선행연구를 토대로 실행공동체 영향요인을 개인요인, 상호작용요인, 지원요인, 환경요인으로 구성하고, 수집된 총 371개의 설문을 기반으로 분석을 실시했다. 연구결과 연구 개발 직군의 실행공동체 활동에 있어 개인요인, 상호작용요인, 지원요인은 만족도에 유의미한 영향을 미쳤으나 환경요인은 크게 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 실행공동체 만족도가 높을수록 학습문화 활성화에 긍정적 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타나 연구개발 직군의 실행공동체 활동 강화가 조직문화 개선에 도움을 줄 수 있음을 알 수 있었다. 특히 연구개발 직군의 경우 성숙도에 따른 집단차이가 크게 나타나지 않아 성숙도 보다는 실행공동체 내 상호작용 요인을 강화하는 것이 더욱 중요하다는 사실을 알 수 있다.

문화적 요인의 실증적 분석과 갈등 관리에 관한 연구 (A Study on Corroboration of Cultural Factors and Organizational Dissension Management)

  • Culture is that the system of shared beliefs, values, customs, behaviors, and artifacts that the members of society use to cope with their world and with one another, and that are transmitted from generation to generation through learning. Members of an organization are affected by culture. And dissensions in an organization give negative effects to behavior of the members, especially to satisfaction from organization. This study is on the dissension management by considering of cultural characteristics of pilots. Cultural characteristics of pilots were surveyed and analyzed with the V5M94(values survey module94) which was developed by Hofstede. As results, the cultural indexes of the pilots were different from the national means. The indexes presented that korean pilots' cultural characteristics are low POI, high IDV, low MAS and low UAI as North European cultural characteristics. For managing the pilots group, make expansion of opportunity to take part in decision making, release or share of informations are required. And motivations, delegation, free from unnecessary interventions, understanding and forgiveness rather than disciplinary punishment, thoughtful considerations could be effectiveness. And for developing more effective management methods, management strategies of north european airlines should be studied.

인적자원개발제도, 조직몰입, 직무만족 간의 관계 : 조직수준의 학습문화의 매개효과 검증 (The Impact of Human Resource Development on Job Satisfaction and Organizational Commitment : Mediating Effects of Learning Culture)

  • 인적자원개발이 기업의 성과로 연결되는 과정에서 주요한 매개변수로 연구되고 있는 학습문화는 그동안 자료의 한계로 인하여 대부분 개인수준에서 회귀분석을 통하여 연구되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 위계적 선형모형(hierarchical linear modeling)을 활용한 다수준분석(multi-level analysis)을 활용하여 조직수준의 2차변수와 개인수준의 1차변수를 통합하여 분석함과 동시에, 동일한 측정자로 인해 발생하는 동일방법편의(common method bias)를 해결하기 위해 독립변수와 종속변수의 원천을 분리함으로써 인적자원개발제도와 개인성과간의 관계를 보다 정교하게 분석하였다. 연구결과, 기업의 인적자원개발제도는 조직몰입 및 직무만족에 긍정적인 영향을 주며, 조직수준의 학습문화는 기업의 인적자원개발제도와 구성원의 태도(조직몰입, 직무만족) 간의 관계에서 완전매개역할을 수행하고 있었다. 또한 과거(2007년)의 인적자원개발제도는 시간이 경과하더라도 구성원의 태도(2009년)에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 변수로 작용하고 있음을 실증적으로 확인할 수 있었다. 이러한 연구결과를 토대로 기업에서 조직구성원들의 성과(조직몰입, 직무만족)를 높이기 위해서는 교육훈련 등 체계적인 인적자원개발제도가 구축되어야하고 아울러 상시학습조직의 운영 및 학습조직에 대한 경영자의 지원 등 학습에 대한 긍정적인 문화를 정착시키고자 하는 노력이 강화되어야 한다는 결론을 도출하였다.

품질경영활동이 경영성과에 미치는 영향 - 조직마음챙김지원에 의해 조절된 혁신문화의 매개효과 - (Effect of Quality Management Activities on the Performance - Mediation Effect of Innovation Culture Moderated by Organizational Mindfulness Support -)

  • Purpose: This paper aims to verify the effect of quality management activities on the performance through innovative culture moderated by organizational mindfulness support which supports organizational mindfulness that means the organization members' attention is stable, opened mind and sensitive to change. Methods: The survey was conducted for four weeks to participants who participated in education of the Korea Standard Association. We analyzed 265 data using SPSS MACRO PROCESS to verify the research model. Results: Research shows that quality management activities affect the performance by partially mediating of innovation culture moderated by organizational mindfulness support. In other words, the higher organizational mindfulness support, the stronger the mediated effect of innovation culture in relation to quality management activities and performance. Conclusion: In order to further enhance the impact of quality management activities on performance, we could see that organization is needed to support for education or learning that can improve organizational mindfulness.
