  • The appearance of web technology has accelerated a role of the development of the multimedia technology, the computer communication technology and the multimedia application contents. And serveral researches of WBI (Web-based Instruction) system have combined the technology of the digital library and LOD. Recently WBI (Web-based Instruction) model which is based on web has been proposed in the part of the new activity model of teaching-learning. And the demand of the customized coursewares which is required from the learners is increased, the needs of the efficient and automated education agents in the web-based instruction are recognized. But many education systems that had been studied recently did not service fluently the courses which learners had been wanting and could not provide the way for the learners to study the learning weakness which is observed in the continuous feedback of the course. In this paper we propose "Design of Multi-agent System for Course Scheduling of Learner-oriented using Weakness Analysis Algorithm". First proposed system monitors learner's behaviors constantly, evaluates them, and calculates his accomplishment. From this accomplishment the multi-agent schedules the suitable course for the learner. And the learner achieves a active and complete learning from the repeated and suitable course.le course.

  • This study is supposed to institutionalization's strategies of information literacy instruction(LAI) and library assited instruction considering national level curriculum. The national level curriculum is composed five elements with subjects matter's goal, objects, instructional contents, teaching & learning method, evaluation. Supposed curriculum added cooperative system 'library and information use' subject between other subject, it composed of total 6 elements.

  • The study is on the types, contents, characteristics, and levels of lifelong education programs from 16 central and local public libraries in Korea. And also analyzes the situation and the results of learning purpose, educational content and teaching methods from 4 public libraries of Ulsan province. On the basis of the results, suggests for the improvement proposals of lifelong education programs in Korean public libraries as follows ; (1) proposes the differentiation and establishment of system for the programs. (2) presents the model development for the evaluation of the educational programs.

  • Two groups of students, who are the students in the natural science course of high school in Korea, learned the equation of figure in space (point, line, plane) to understand more effectively with two different textbooks. One group was taught with the textbook used now in most high schools and the other group was taught with the textbooks systematized by associating old concept with new concept. The results are as follows : 1) We need understand the basic concept of vector plainly and flexibly to apply it to the solution of problems. 2) It helps students understand new concepts how we should establish the concept about point, line and plane in space by applying the concept about those on XY plane, 3) It is very effective in understanding the new knowledge system more easily to analyze the existent concepts and to arrange them systematically for efficient understanding of new concepts. 4) The texts which consist of contents organized by basic concepts improve students' learning ability.

  • 언어는 모든 교육에서 중요한 역할을 담당하므로 국어 교과목은 교육의 기본 목표인 언어사용의 신장을 위해서 중요하게 다루어지고 있다. 언어발달을 위한 국어 교육활동은 듣기, 말하기, 읽기, 쓰기의 네 가지 영역에 기초를 두고 있으며 학생들의 흥미를 유발할 수 있는 쌍방향 멀티미디어를 이용하면 이러한 영역의 학습효과를 증가시킬 수 있다. 그러나 기존의 웹사이트의 개발 사례를 살펴보면 교과서 중심인 일방적인 제사만이 구현되어 있다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 흥미와 자발적인 참여를 유발하고 행동한 것에 대해 즉각적인 반응(Feedback)을 주는 애니메이션과 음성, 효과음, 높이, 학습, 게임으로 결합된 오락적인 쌍방향 멀티미디어 웹 컨텐츠를 개발하여 언어를 배우는 어린이들의 학습능력의 향상과 창의적인 언어 활동의 증대에 기여하고자 한다. 특히, 이 시스템의 큰 특징은 학생에 대한 학습 결과를 도출하고 이에 대한 해결책 및 각종 정보를 추출하여 학습진단 결과, 재학습, 학습독력의 형태로 학생 개개인에게 메일로 보내는 학습 통합관리 기능을 포함하고 있다는 것이다.

Development of Educationally Effective Engineering Applets using Java Beans Technology (Java Beans 기술을 이용한 효과적 공학 교육용 Applet 개발에 관한 연구)

  • Java Applets are major learning components in current Web-based educational system. In this paper, it is shown how Java Beans technology is applied to develop engineering Java Applets. This technique enables us to reuse the developed components and to increase the programming productivity. Also, these components are integrated into 5 different Applet types, each of which represents a good educational pattern in Applet programming. The results are applied to develop engineering class contents like Electrical Circuit theory, Engineering Mathematics, athematics, and Electrical Machine. Development times are analysed to show how this technique helped in reducing production period.

  • With a theme of the ‘Environmental Education in Middle Schools’ and ‘Open Education’, this study has been aimed to suggest the improvements for environmental education through ‘Open Education’, which is nowadays emphasized in Korea. This study suggests that the following should be concluded in the syllabic for the environmental education; the environmental problems and their relations to the environments] education, the establishment of the model of environmental education system, the goal of environmental education and its characteristics, the analysis of environment-related subjects' contents, the teaching-learning methods for environmental education, and the applications of ‘Open Education’ to the environmental education. This study has found that the ‘Open Education’ would play a great role in increasing the effect of the environmental education, and thus it strongly recommends, as a necessity, that teaching skills and text for it should be developed as soon as possible.

  • 유비쿼터스 컴퓨팅 환경의 중요한 이슈 중 하나인 상황인식은 컴퓨팅환경(예를 들어 가용 처리장치, 사용자 입력과 표시를 위한 장치, 네트워크 수용량, 다른 기기와의 접속용이성 및 컴퓨팅비용 등), 사용자 환경(위치, 주위 사람들과의 접촉, 사회적 입장 등) 및 물리적 환경(밝기, 소음, 온도 등)이 지속적으로 변화하는 수행 환경에서 인간으로 하여금 본연의 목적을 달성하는데 집중할 수 있도록 지원하는 인간 친화적인 시스템을 제공하기 위한 필수 기술이다. 이러한 상황인식을 이용하여, 사람이나 장소 및 사물의 입장이나 처지 혹은 관계 등을 특징 지을 수 있는 신원, 위치, 상태(혹은 활동) 및 시간의 4가지 상황정보를 고려한 학습이 이루어지도록 지원함으로써 학습에 있어서의 접근용이성과 적응성을 높이기 위한 컨텐츠 전승제어 시스템을 제안한다.

Understanding Business from Business Report Visualization

  • The visualization of business reports has received greater attention from information system scholars. Tables, graph and charts are often used to represent vast amount of complex numerical data and spreadsheet visuals become a de facto standard in business. This study suggests the use of individual's cognitive differences on business report visualization instead of providing "one visual fits all type of reports." It is argued that reports with data augmented by appropriate visuals will affect the efficiency and effectiveness of an individual's learning outcomes and subsequently his or her decision making processes. It is argued here that report visualization can augment the usefulness of contents and enhance many desirable features of reports as specified in those proposed models.

  • 국내외적으로 스마트러닝은 자기주도형 학습과 같은 새로운 학습모델을 통해 기존 학습과 비교하여 높은 학습 성과를 있다. 그러나 다문화 가정 학부모는 디지털 기기에 대한 접근성과 자료 활용 능력이 일반국민에 비해 현저하게 떨어지는 정보격차로 인해 기존의 교육 콘텐츠의 효과적 활용은 제약점을 갖고 있다. 이 논문에서는 다문화 가정 학부모의 지능형 맞춤 교수학습 지원체제의 주요한 요구사항인 정보격차 해소를 위한 다문화가정 맞춤형 학습콘텐츠 추천 시스템의 설계를 기술한다.
