Web based learning has been used for many educational systems by aid of the development of internet technique. The true process of education includes not only learning contents but also learning process and the evaluation. So far, Web-based evaluation mainly consists of the evaluation of the learning products or the evaluation of the cognitive domain. But, there is lack of the appropriate feedback for learning effects. In this paper, we design and implement an evaluation system for Web-based instruction. In our system, the learners are evaluated during the process of Web-based learning. Our system provides learner-centered instruction for students with instant feedback. The questions made up by teachers are stored in the database and can be searched by a keyword, grade, semester or unit. The evaluation system can also provide the feedback to right or wrong answer for each question. Our system provides the learners with instant feedback after solving the questions and also can improve the quality of learning process using the Web.
This study explores how to implement a learning experience-based professionalism program for a medical students and evaluates its program through effectiveness and usability test. This study aims to provide practical implications for experience-based learning in an undergraduate level. Seventy four first-year medical students enrolled in PDS1(Patient-Doctor-Society 1): professionalism, one-week block (30 hours), one-credit program based on a experience-based learning model. All of the students were given six learning themes and learning resources and supporting tools, and conducted stepwise learning activities; preparation, organization, sharing, reflection and evaluation of experiences. The effectiveness of learning was evaluated by comparing the pre and post results of student's self-assessment on 24 questionnaire items about professionalism. After the course, the students and instructors conducted a usability evaluation of the program through questionnaires or group interviews. Learners' self-assessment results of professionalism such as leadership, self-directed learning, professional attitude, and social accountability all showed significant differences between the pre- and post-test. Satisfaction of the program was distributed to 3.58~3.78 according to items. Instructors and learner interviews confirmed practical usability throughout the course design, implementation and students evaluation. The results of the study showed the feasibility of implementing learning experience-based professionalism program in medical school. This study provides practical implications to develope and evaluate the learning experience-based professionalism program in medical education.
In order to evaluate the usefulness of metaverse learning from the learner's point of view, this study 1) evaluated whether the expectancy-value of the class was satisfied before and after the learner used the metaverse learning platform and 2) verified factors affecting metaverse learning satisfaction with regard to the self-efficacy and expectancy-value of learners. Expectancy-value was evaluated by the learning effect, communication, class involvement, and learning attitude, whereas self-efficacy was evaluated by preference for task difficulty, self-regulation efficacy, and self-confidence. As a result of a study targeting 70 college students who applied for a few courses using the metaverse platform at a university in the northeastern part of Seoul, learners were found to have high expectations and values for learning before using the metaverse platform, but both were not statistically satisfied after use. In addition, the higher the self-efficacy of the learner, the higher the satisfaction with the metaverse learning, and statistically significant results were found in the task-difficulty preference and self-regulatory efficacy among the sub-factors of self-efficacy. There is a negative causal relationship between expectancy-value factors and satisfaction with metaverse learning. This study implies that it is a learner-centered evaluation of metaverse learning, revealing the expectancy-value effect and factors influencing the satisfaction with metaverse learning.

With the emergence of lifelong learning society and the decrease in school-age population, structural changes of universities are lead to an adult-friendly university system reform. Since 2008, university-based lifelong education activation projects, such as the lifelong learning-centered university cultivation project and the lifelong learning college project have been accelerated as a university lifelong education system support project that integrated both projects in 2015. This study analyzed the present status of university lifelong education system support project management, according to four analysis frameworks; adult-friendly curriculum, adult learner support system, evaluation of diverse learning performances, and empowerment of adult learners, based on adults' learning desire for higher education in a lifelong learning society. University lifelong education system reform suggests to aim at promotion of empowered adult learners, who give themselves positions and roles, through cultural adaptation and integration between generations.
The need for Maker Education has received attention as an educational environment for cultivating the active and creative ability that can solve new problems in this era, and it is applied in various educational fields. Many of them use Design Thinking as a stage of maker activities. However, the educational value of each concept has not been magnified, since maker programs are designed by simply borrowing steps without considering the similar but different features of them. Therefore, this study developed a model of Maker Education utilizing Design Thinking based on complementary relationships. To this end, formative research methodology was conducted by the following procedures, developing a draft, conducting a formative evaluation, and completing the final model. As a result, the stages of Maker Education were visualized and detailed activities and instructing strategies in each step by reflecting the features of Maker Education, the autonomy of the learner and producing visible outputs using various tools and materials, and Design Thinking, the specific process of solving problems and enabling social participation.

e-learning has been recently introduced in all educational domains and it has expanded rapidly in educational field. Blended learning, which has emerged with e-learning nowadays, is an exact example of a new paradigm. It has not only educational effects of traditional classroom learning, but it also has effects of e-learning which provides learner-centered classroom environment and removes barriers of time and space. This study looked into several e-learning contents evaluation criteria that were already studied, And arranged with the evaluation question item that can evaluate learning effectiveness of e-learning contents in elementary school through a questionnaire executed in elementary school teachers. And it used this evaluation question item and the study accomplishment results of an education ruler, and applied to learning effectiveness evaluation of e-learning contents. This paper will give future directions and assessment criteria of e-learning. Moreover, this thesis will provide theoretical and practical materials for developing e-learning contents to improve quality of blended learning.
Recently, there has been an increasing interest in 'Flipped Learning,' an IT-based learner-centered teaching-learning method corresponding to meet the paradigm of the future education. For smooth Flipped Learning, there are three steps in total: a pre-class should precede; then, in the structure of classes in the classroom, in-class learning among peer learners should be done; and lastly, the operation of a post-class should be done. For successful Flipped Learning, class elements in each step should be designed with a time difference, interconnected so as to achieve a single educational objective. However, it was found that there was a limitation in that the teaching-learning model of the preceding Flipped Learning consisted of the order of analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation as general procedures, so it would not sufficiently consider the situations of Flipped Learning only. On this background, this thesis proposes a differentiated Flipped Learning model for mastery learning in a subject of an institute of technology as a model of systematic instructional design and presents a case of a class applied to an actual subject of computer engineering.
Purpose: The purpose of this study is to develop a safety health education program for the upper graders of elementary school children and to evaluate the program. After a model development of the program was set up, five major units were selected after five stages of program planning, design, acting, evaluation and feedback: school safety, traffic safety, home safety, life safety, and first-aid. Twenty things were selected as what to teach, and a lesson plan of 12 sessions was mapped out by arranging what to teach. The subjects in this study were 114 elementary school students who were in five different sixth-grade classes. Each class received education for five days, in four sessions each, according to the program. Results: The learners showed improvement in safety consciousness, safety knowledge, self-efficacy and safety behavior after they received education according to the safety health education program, and they expressed a lot of satisfaction with the program. Conclusion: It is important to develop the lifelong education for safety health education for the elementary school children.
For the past 20 years, the medical education accreditation program of Korean Institute of Medical Education and Evaluation (KIMEE) has contributed greatly to the standardization and improvement of the quality of basic medical education in Korea. Now, it contributes to establishing and promoting the future of medical education. Since its inception in 2019, Accreditation Standard of KIMEE 2019 (ASK2019) aims to achieve world-class medical education through the application of learner-centered curriculum using a continuum framework for the three phases of formal medical education: basic medical education, post-graduate medical education, and continuing professional development. ASK2019 also promotes medical education which meets community needs and employs systematic assessments throughout the education process. These are important changes that can be used to gauge the future of the medical education accreditation system. Furthermore, internationalization, interprofessional education, health systems science, and on-going, permanent self-assessment systems in every medical school are emerging as important topics for the future of medical education. It's time for the medical education accreditation system in Korea to observe and adopt new trends in global medical education.
