참여관찰법을 이용한 공간 모델 기초연구 -농촌마을 커뮤니티시설을 중심으로- (A Study on the Spatial Model using Participant Observation - Focused on Community Facilities in Rural Villages-)

  • Community facilities in most rural villages have many problems in the aspect of their size or functions as well as they are generally too superannuated to support diverse community activities; which results in a low degree of inhabitants' satisfaction with community facilities, and inconvenience for using them. Therefore, it may carefully be said that it's time to need the established studies that are necessary with consider to community facilities which can reflect inhabitants' diverse activities. In this study, 5 places which the most common events among the major monthly events of total 25 rural villages were held were selected as the subject place for survey; and then investigated, by means of the participant observation method, the using behavior of inhabitants who used community facilities. Focusing on size, factors, and layout that were being faced by community facilities in most rural villages, This study investigated the number of users, the characteristics of traffic line and behavior, and the using behavior by group; through considering their correlation with the physical setting of community space, it deduced the problems of use; and it proposed the direction of improvement on the basis thereof. Therefore, this study will serve in the future as useful basic materials for designing a rural village's community facilities in consideration of size, factors and layout which can appropriately support inhabitants' community activities.

실행시간 침입 방지 평가 프로그램(RIPE)의 개선 (Improvement of Runtime Intrusion Prevention Evaluator (RIPE))

  • 2011년에 발표된 RIPE는 프로그램 공격에 대한 완화 기법 평가 도구로서 850 가지 패턴의 버퍼 오버플로우 기반 공격에 대한 완화 기법만을 평가한다. RIPE는 공격과 방어 루틴이 하나의 프로세스로 실행되도록 구성되어, RIPE가 실행될 때에는 공격과 방어 루틴이 프로세스 상태와 주소 공간 배치를 공유할 수밖에 없게 된다. 그 결과 공격 루틴은 방어 루틴의 메모리 공간을 아무런 제약 없이 접근할 수 있게 된다. 이 논문에서는 RIPE의 공격과 방어 루틴이 독립적인 2개의 프로세스로 동작하도록 하여 주소 공간 배치 난독화와 같은 기밀성에 근거한 방어 기법을 정확히 평가할 수 있도록 개선하였다. 또한 억지 공격에 대한 방어 능력을 실험할 수 있도록 실행 모드를 추가하였다. 마지막으로 vtable 포인터 공격과 형식문자열 공격을 수행하도록 38 가지 패턴의 공격을 추가하여 확장하였다. 개선 결과 공격 패턴이 다양하게 되었고, 보호 효과 평가의 정확성도 높아졌다.

초등학교 물리적 환경의 변화가 아동에게 미치는 단기적 영향 연구 (The Effect of physical Environment of Elementary School on Children)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of physical environments change on children. Specifically, this study investigated the effects of a newly designed elementary school environment to implement open education on elementary school students. The changed environment was improved in various aspects including architectural type, the number of space types, layout, shape of the building, and color planning. This study showed evidence of interaction between aspects of the physical environment and the actual behaviors of children. The impacts of change in physical environment, more specifically, on children was confirmed by the study. Therefore, this study can be used as a basis to insist why physical educational environment needs improvement, to insist importance of physical educational environment and to justify importance of physical environment in educational setting.

CSD 계수에 의한 이차원 디지탈필터의 단일칩설계 (A Single-Chip Design of Two-Dimensional Digital Riler with CSD Coefficients)

  • In this work, an improved architecture of two-dimensional digital filter(2D DF) is suggested, and then the filter is simulated by C, VHDL language and related layouts are designed by Berkeley CAD tools. The 2D DF consists of one-dimensional digital filters and delay lines. For one-dimensional digital filter(1D DF) case, once filter coefficients are represented by canonical signed digit formats, multiplications are exected by hardwired-shifting methods. The related bit numbers are handled to prevent picture quality degradation and pipelined adder architectures are adopted in each tap and output stage to speed up the filter. For delay line case, line-sharing DRAM is adopted to improve power dissipation and speed. The filter layout is designed by semi/full custom methods considering regularity and speed improvement, and normal operation is confirmed by simulation.

  • This study try introduce a cell manufacturing form and to make the productivity in a conveyor line manufacture for the customer requirement and market change. The case research from JIT theory that made the model to make a productivity enhance through the cell line in a conveyor line and U-line. This research was subject with a cosmetics manufacture company, therefor we can raise the quality enhance, personnel expenses and reduction of delivery effectiveness in a stroke types of industry consequently.

학교급식의 효율적 개선방안 - 조리설비를 중심으로 - (Study to Improve School Catering Service Quality Through Cooking Hardware Upgrade)

  • The school catering service has gained national attentions and has been expanding unto high schools after offering meals at elementary schools over years. This study is to identify problems and solutions in kitchen hardware areas to provide nutritiously balanced meals to schoolchildren through establishing standard menu planning. The survey analysis shows that 59.2% of dishes except for rice, Kimchi and soup are prepared by oil deep-fired or oil pan broiled. This indicates that school meals are so limited to serve baked or steamed dishes. Main reasons on the limited menu selection is that schools don't have equipment to prepare baking and steaming dishes mainly due to budget issues. All the dietitians who answered the surveys have been requesting to purchase Convotherm Ovens. Improvement solutions to the problems are: Publish the Revised Standard Equipment Layout that may allow to serve baked and steamed dishes. Establish Budget Support Program from the Government.

목공가공에 관한 공정분석 및 설계 (Process Design of the Woodworking in the Kitchen Furniture Industry)

  • This research aims at the improvement of the manufacturing productivity of . kitchen furniture industry. W company deals with the orders of 2 types - the one is the batch order for mass production, and the other is the order of a customized single set. But, because the company has a single manufacturing system appropriate to mass production despite of the above 2 types-orders, the problems of increasing work-in-process, throughput time and material handling time were resulted in, and the overall productivity was generally low. We proposed a new material handling method to substitute the traditional one, the rearrangement of facility layout, and the introduction of a proper outsourcing method. This research results in about 80% increase in production quantity in the same period.

홍콩 버비나하이츠(Verbena Heights) 주거단지의 특징에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Architectural Characteristics of ¡?Verbena Heights¡?Estate in Hong Kong)

  • The purpose of this study is to find the architectural characteristics of Verbena Heights, super high-rise complex housing, which has been most highly evaluated as a new town development model in Hong Kong, as a successful case of new housing type and sustainable design. The analyzed features of Verbena Heights are as follows; 1) Formation of various open spaces by a creative layout. 2) Enhancement of natural ventilation and daylighting by a linear plan instead of conventional cruciform plans. 3) Applications of integrated facade design for noise mitigation and for sunlight shading. 4) Adoption of energy-efficient devices, use of recyclable materials, and improvement of livability by a sustainable design process. These architectural characteristics provide the high-density high-rise housing with more efficient and comfortable environments for residents. And it is proved that the sustainable design can enhance the quality of dwelling environment.

Implementation and Evaluation of Interleaved Boundary Conduction Mode Boost PFC Converter with Wide Band-Gap Switching Devices

  • The implementation and performance evaluation of an interleaved boundary conduction mode (BCM) boost power factor correction (PFC) converter is presented in this paper by employing three wide band-gap switching devices: a super junction silicon (Si) MOSFET, a silicon carbide (SiC) MOSFET and a gallium nitride (GaN) high electron mobility transistor (HEMT). The practical considerations for adopting wide band-gap switching devices to BCM boost PFC converters are also addressed. These considerations include the gate drive circuit design and the PCB layout technique for the reliable and efficient operation of a GaN HEMT. In this paper it will be shown that the GaN HEMT exhibits the superior switching characteristics and pronounces its merits at high-frequency operations. The efficiency improvement with the GaN HEMT and its application potentials for high power density/low profile BCM boost PFC converters are demonstrated.

물류센터의 에너지 효율 개선 방안에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Improvement of Energy Efficiency in Warehouses)

  • The main sources of energy consumption in warehouses are MHE(Material Handling Equipment), HVAC(Heating, Ventilating and Air Conditioning) and Lighting. Warehouses in advanced countries raise energy efficiencies with energy consumption diagnosis, technology development and systematic management and improvements for MHE, HVAC and Illuminating, etc. They have managed illuminating system, air conditioning, motor driven system, air circulation method, dock facility, layout, AS/RS, conveyor system and battery management, etc. Ansong Pyeongtaek area investigation resulted that 43.9[%] of enterprises are managing partly energy consumption source. But the data resulted with not substantial management of energy consumption but passive management for only electric bill curtailment. Therefore through survey research & visiting interviews of some companies in Ansong Pyeongtaek area, we understood the status of energy consumption source management and proposed energy efficiency methods on the basis of that results.
