This study analyzes the environmental and durability problems of traditional (LW) grouting method. And the proposed method was compared to the others effects by analyzing the in-situ applicability and effect of performance of the method using the silica sol. This study analyzed the eco-friendly, effects of high strength silica sol through laboratory tests. The effects of the construction process were identified through the field tests. The compressive strength was increased by 1.3 times compared to the LW method and the shrinkage is 3~8 times less than that of LW method with water glass. No toxicity, which could affect soil contamination. In particular, it was confirmed that the Toxicity fish also survived with little pH change in the concentration tank. Also it confirmed the construction effects through field test. Field tests are a standard penetration test, permeability test, LLT, BST. Permeability was reduced to $1{\times}10^{-5{\sim}-6}cm/sec$.

BACKGROUND: It has been reported that the nutritional composition of Locusta migratoria (Orthoptera: Acrididae) changes nutrients depending on the host plants. In this study, to confirm whether Locusta migratoria is an edible insect, the nutrients and harmful substances such as heavy metals and pathogens were analyzed and compared according to corn (LC) or wheat (LW) as host plants. METHODS AND RESULTS: All experimental methods mainly referred to AOAC (2004). The content of crude protein per dry weight was 77.3% in (LW), 1.1 times higher than 69.8% in LC. Crude fat was 6.5% in LW, 2.2 times less than LC 14.3%. Alpha-linolenic acid, which has the highest content among unsaturated fatty acids, was 1.2 times higher in LC (39.9%) than LW (32.5%). As a result of analysis of harmful substances by LC and LW, lead and cadmium among heavy metals were at levels suitable for heavy metal standards of edible insects, and arsenic was not detected in both groups. E. coli and Salmonella spp. were not detected in both groups. CONCLUSION: When comparing the overall nutrients composition of LW and LC, it was confirmed nutrients are different depending on the host plants, and the safety was proved.
The semi-discrete central scheme and central upwind scheme use Runge-Kutta (RK) time discretization. We do the Lax-Wendroff (LW) type time discretization for both schemes. We perform numerical experiments for various problems including two dimensional Riemann problems for Burgers' equation and Euler equations. The results show that the LW time discretization is more efficient in CPU time than the RK time discretization while maintaining the same order of accuracy.
Urinary purine derivatives and creatinine excretion was measured in a total of 4 white Alpine sheep. They were given diets 718 to 1060 g/kg dry matter (DM) of roughage. The crude protein content of this diets was on average $93.87{\pm}5.57g$ in kg DM. Purine derivatives-N excretion increased linearly with incremental DM intake and was significantly correlated (n = 16) with amounts of digestible organic matter (DOM) intake: allantoin-N (mg) = 1.205 (${\pm}0.070$) $\times$ DOM (g) - 136.709 (${\pm}37.399$), r = 0.9770, RSD = 22.97; uricacid-N (mg) = 0.131 (${\pm}0.041$) $\times$ DOM (g) + 11.380 (${\pm}21.881$), r = 0.6306, RSD = 13.44; Hypoxanthine-N (mg) = 0.049 (${\pm}0.014$) $\times$ DOM (g) - 28.640 (${\pm}7.708$), r = 0.6544, RSD = 4.73; total purine derivatives-N (mg) = 1.385 (${\pm}0.083$) $\times$ DOM (g) - 90.261 (${\pm}44.552$), r = 0.9706, RSD = 27.47. Microbial protein synthesis per kg DOM was estimated of 113 g. The urinary creatinine-N excretion was on average 9.10 mg/kg live weight (LW) with a standard error of 0.12 mg creatinine-N per kg LW. The excretion of creatinine excreton was not related to feed intake. Daily creatinine excretion (mg/d) was calculated from individual LW measurements and the average creatinine excretion (mg/kg LW). It was possible to predict the daily urinary purine derivatives excretion (r = 0.9720 for allantoin, r = 0.9886 for total purine derivatives) from the ratio of purine derivatives (mg/100 ml) and creatinine (mg/100 ml) in the urine and the daily creatinine excretion.

We investigated the effect of the prolactin receptor gene (PRLR) on total number of born (TNB), number of born alive (NBA) and number of weaned (NW) piglets in Large White (LW), White Meaty (WM) and Landrace (L) sows from six Slovak breeding farms. The frequency of A allele was 0.48, 0.49 and 0.47 in LW, WM and L, respectively. We found numerous highly significant effects of PRLR locus on TNB ($p{\leq}0.01$; $p{\leq}0.05$) in all tested breeds. The most marked difference of +$1.31{\pm}0.45pigs/L$ was found between AA and BB genotypes in WM. Within the other breeds the difference between the homozygous genotypes reached up to +$0.94{\pm}0.3$ and +$1.21{\pm}0.19$ pigs per litter in LW and L, respectively. We also identified significant differences between AA and AB genotypes related to TNB in L. Similarly NBA, as well as NW traits were significantly affected ($p{\leq}0.01$; $p{\leq}0.05$) by the genotype just in LW and L. The homozygous genotype AA was favourable in all breeds and traits. Our results showed the possibility of PRLR utilization in marker-assisted selection within breeding programs to increase reproductive traits of pigs in Slovakia.
Meat production and quality traits in beef cattle are largely affected by genetic factors. Acetyl-Coenzyme A carboxylase-${\alpha}$ (ACACA) plays a key role in the regulation and metabolism of fatty acid biosynthesis in mammalian animals. The gene encoding ACACA enzyme was chosen as a candidate gene for carcass and meat traits. In this study, we investigated effects of single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) in the ACACA gene on beef carcass and meat traits in Hanwoo (Korean cattle) populations. We have sequenced a fragment of intron I region of the Hanwoo ACACA gene and identified two SNPs. Genotyping of the two SNP markers (g.2344T>C and g.2447C>A) was carried out using PCR-SSCP analysis in 309 Hanwoo steers to evaluate their association with carcass and meat production traits. The g.2344C SNP marker showed a significant increasing effect on LW (p = 0.009) and CW (p = 0.017). Animals with the CC genotype had higher CW and LW compared with TT and TC genotypes (p<0.05). The g.2447A SNP marker was associated with higher MC (p = 0.019). Animals with the AA genotype had higher MC than animals with CC and CA genotypes (p<0.05). Although the degree of linkage disequilibrium (LD) was not strong between g.2344T>C and g.2447C>A in the LD analysis, four major haplotype classes were formed with two SNP information within the ACACA gene. We constructed haplotypes using the HaploView software package program and analyzed association between haplotypes and carcass traits. The haplotype of ACACA gene significantly affected the LW (p = 0.027), CW (p = 0.041) and MC (p = 0.036). The effect of h1 haplotype on LW and CW was larger than that of h3 haplotype. Animals with the h1 haplotype also had greater MC than did animals with h2 haplotype. Consequently, the ACACA gene could be useful as a DNA marker for meat production traits such as carcass yield and meat contents in Hanwoo.
The purpose of this study is to present criteria of selection of optimum grout materials through analyzing the limitation of permeability of each materials(MSG-N, OPC), in various ground conditions by comparing presentation of strength and permeability of MSG method and LW method(or SGR method). To do that, physical and chemical characteristics of grout materials were analyzed and compressive tests of homogel, mixed coagulation materials and hardening materials in certain mixing ratio, and of milk paste. In addition, permeability tests for each ground soil, each injection pressure, and each materials in combined stratum were performed with massive chamber. The results of tests showed that ultra fine grout materials like grout of MSG is necessary to construct effective grouting in sand and silty sand ground. Also, it is expected to become chemical grouting guide data to layout construction engineers because presented proper injection pressure by kind of object ground in case using ultra-fine grout material.

The marine microalgae Chaetoceros calcitrans was cultured under a fluorescent lamp (CON) and light-emitting diodes (LEDs) of various wavelengths (blue, LB; red, LR; green, LG; white, LW); changes in growth, fucoxanthin, chlorophyll-a, amino acid and fatty acid profiles were investigated. LR-exposed cultures exhibited the highest specific growth rate (SGR) (0.34), whereas LG-exposed cultures showed the lowest SGR (0.26). After cultivation for 10 days, the maximum dry cell weight (g/L) of LR-exposed cultures was significantly higher than that of those exposed to other light conditions (LR${\geq_-}$CON>LB${\geq_-}$LW${\geq_-}$LG). Eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) levels were significantly higher in CON-exposed cultures compared to those exposed to LW (P<0.05), with no marked difference compared to those exposed to LB, LR and LG (P>0.05). The fucoxanthin content was highest in LB-exposed cultures ($6.3{\mu}g/mL$), whereas LW showed the lowest ($3.6{\mu}g/mL$; P<0.05). Chlorophyll-a content was highest in cultures exposed to LB compared to other light sources. These results suggest consistent differences in growth and biochemical composition after exposure to light of different wavelengths.

This study is analyzed the optical property of red tide pixel by using Landsat-7 ETM+, Landsat-8 OLI and COMS/GOCI image. In order to sample red tide pixel, Landsat-7, 8 true color image were used and obtained coordinate of red tide pixel in the true color image. Normalized water leaving radiance(nLw) and absorption coefficient were obtained from GOCI image in the same coordinate of the true color image. When red tide was not occurred the main absorption range was 412nm and 660nm but when red tide occurred it was 660nm and absorption coefficient in 412nm are drastically reduced. It made no difference of nLw spectrum between red tide pixel and non red tide pixel in nLw, but the absolute value of nLw was low than non red tide pixel, especially 660nm and 680nm wavelength sharply decrease.

The marine microalgae Nannochloropsis sp. was cultured under a metal halide lamp (MH) or light-emitting diodes (LEDs) of various wavelengths (blue, LB; red, LR; yellow, LY; green, LG; white, LW); changes in growth, total carotenoid, chlorophyll a, amino acid and fatty acid profiles were investigated. LB-exposed cultures exhibited the highest specific growth rate (SGR) (0.32), whereas LY-exposed cultures showed the lowest SGR (0.18). After cultivation for 9 days, the maximum dry cell weight (g/L) of LB-exposed cultures was significantly higher than that of those exposed to other light conditions (LB>MH>LW$${\geq_-}LG{\geq_-}$$LR>LY). The essential amino acid (EAA, %) contents of cultures exposed to LG, LB, LR and MH were higher than those exposed to LY and LW (P<0.05). Eicosapentaenoic acid and n-3 highly unsaturated fatty acid levels were significantly higher in MH-exposed cultures compared to those exposed to LY (P<0.05), with no marked difference compared to those exposed to LB, LG, LR and LW (P>0.05). The total carotenoid content was highest in LR-exposed cultures (18.0 mg/L), whereas MH showed the lowest (11.8 mg/L; P<0.05). Chlorophyll a content was highest in cultures exposed to LR compared to other light sources. These results suggest consistent differences in growth and biochemical composition after exposure to light of different wavelengths.
