In this paper we develop textbook 'Modem Algebra' for training mathematics teacher of secondary schools. In order to understand mathematics teacher's viewpoint about desirable textbook 'Modem Algebra' we created a Questionnaire related with curriculum and textbook for training mathematics teacher of secondary schools. We analyze the result of the questionnaire along with recent studies on teacher education and come up with basic principles of developing textbook 'Modern Algebra'. The first version of 'Modern Algebra for Mathematics Teachers' that we have developed based on our study can be found in website 'www.teacheredu.co.kr'.

The purpose of the study were to analyze of the curriculum and textbooks for technology & home economics in the 7th national curriculum, and to suggest the revision direction of them. This study was carried out through literature research of national curriculum and textbooks of Korea and Japan, respectively. The findings of the study were as follows: First, we have three textbooks which are technology & home economics 1, technology & home economics 2, technology & home economics 3 for each grade of middle school student, but one technology textbook and one home economics textbook may be better for middle school student to reduce the learning content following revised curriculum. Second, as an aspect of learning content between technology textbook and computer textbook, the computer and information volume is too much overlapped, which is also the same result at the survey research report of KICE. Therefore, the computer content of technology & home economics textbooks must be considered to reduce according to follow research.

Lobachevskii와 Hadamard는 유럽에서 Euclid의 '원론'에 의한 기하교육으로부터 새로운 형태의 기하교육으로의 전환하는 시기에 기하학 교재를 저술하였다. 본 연구에서는 Lobachevskii의 '기하학'과 Hadamard의 '초등기하학'에서 다루고 있는 삼각형의 합동에 대한 정리들을 조사하고, 이들의 증명 방법들을 분석하며, 직각삼각형의 합동조건의 증명 방법을 우리나라의 수학교과서에 제시된 증명 방법들과 비교하였다.

The purpose of this study was to examine mathematics teachers' perceptions of multicultural education. To achieve this goal, the study explored how 10 elementary mathematics teachers noticed multicultural content in a mathematics textbook. Building upon noticing framework (Jacobs, Lamb, & Philipp, 2010), we first examined teachers' attention toward multicultural content in a mathematics textbook. Then, we examined teachers' interpretation of the content. We employed a content analysis approach to examine the collected data. The results indicated that most mathematics teachers held a content integration perspective. Their view was that "multicultural education" referred to learning about the diverse cultures of different countries. Moreover, although they noticed some multicultural content in the textbook, they wanted to discuss them in superficially descriptive ways and avoid talking about social justice issues. Additionally, some teachers believed that mathematics is a culture-free subject. They argued that multicultural content should not be presented in mathematics textbooks. We also discussed uncommon themes, which were reported by only a few mathematics teachers.

Objectives : This Study aims to extract the actual prescriptions used frequently in the clinical settings and the frequently used prescription list of textbook on herbal formulae by comparing the prescriptions recorded in the textbook on herbal formulae, and to examine the range of the efficacies of the corresponding prescription on the basis of the records of the Electronic Medical Record (EMR). Methods : By making comparison of the herb weight ratios of the prescriptions recorded in the textbook on herbal formulae with those recorded in EMR, the frequency is measured on the basis of the textbook on herbal formulae prescription and the frequency indication is computed for the clinical prescriptions with lower level of differences. Results & Conclusions : On the basis of the details of the clinical prescriptions used at the P Hospital, Yugmijihwang-tang, Samlyeongbaegchul-san, Jugyeobseoggo-tang, Maegmundong-tang, Olyeong-san and Baegho-tang, among the similar prescriptions for which the title prescriptions of the textbook on herbal formulae and the herbal composition coincide by more than 80%, are not included in the list of prescriptions covered under the national health insurance system even though they are frequently used prescriptions.

The purpose of this study is to provide implications for improvement of mathematics textbook based on discursive approach to textbook analysis that complementarily combines a communicational approach to cognition and social semiotics. For this purpose, we reconstructed an analytic framework for discursive approach to written discourses of Korean textbook and CMP, and applied it to our analysis. Results show that several characteristics in meanings were developed by the use of words and visual mediators. First, in the case of ideational meaning, there were qualitative and quantitative differences between vocabularies used and between information addressed by visual mediators. Second, in the case of structural meaning, an offer and application of procedure was emphasized in a Korean textbook, whereas expectation and selection experiences of diverse possibilities for problem solving was underlined in CMP. In the case interpersonal meaning of student-author, imperative instructions were paid attentions in a Korean textbook. In contrast, students' interdependence and active participation were stressed in CMP. Therefore, this study addressed ideas about how to analyze mathematics textbooks based on integrated meanings developed by the use of words and visual mediators. In addition, it distributes implications for improvements of Korean mathematics textbooks through the analytic framework of both mathematical meanings and interpersonal meanings of student-author.

최근까지 개발된 디지털교과서는 전자칠판, 학습도구, 멀티미디어 등의 기능은 포함하였지만 자료검색 지원에는 취약점을 갖고 있었다. 본 연구에서는 검색기능을 지원하는 초등학교 디지털교과서를 개발하는데 목표를 두었다. 이를 위해 초등교사를 대상으로 검색기능 수요조사를 실시하였고 조사결과를 기반으로 디지털교과서를 설계하고 구현하였다. 개발된 디지털교과서는 XML로 기술되었고 의미 있는 단락 모음별로 검색할 수 있는 것이 특징이다. 디지털교과서의 사용후 설문에서 수업에의 유용성과 향후 사용의지에도 90% 이상의 교사가 긍정적으로 답하여 앞으로 초등학교에 보급될 디지털교과서에 검색기능이 반영되면 교수-학습에 많은 도움이 될 것으로 기대할 수 있다.

이 연구의 목적은 철강산업분야 영마이스터(young meister) 인력 양성을 위하여 선행 연구에 근거하여 '철강의 이해' 교과목의 단원 내용을 선정하고, '철강의 이해' 교과서 편찬 방안을 제시하는 것이다. 연구방법으로는 첫째, 철강산업분야 '철강의 이해' 교과목 프로파일을 분석하여 '철강의 이해' 교과서 집필을 위한 면담지를 작성하였다. 둘째, 면담 조사를 통하여 '철강의 이해' 교과서의 개선안을 도출하고 교과목 내용을 선정하였다. 셋째, 선정된 교과목 내용은 교재개발 연구진 및 집필진으로 구성된 전문가 협의회를 통하여 대단원의 학습 내용을 수정 보완하고, 중단원 및 소단원의 학습 내용을 선정하였다. 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 철강산업분야 '철강의 이해' 교과목 프로파일에 제시된 대단원 내용 구성의 적절성을 확인하였다. 둘째, '철강의 이해' 교과서의 단원 내용 구성에서 개선되어야 할 내용을 추출하여 '철강의 이해' 교과서의 중단원 및 소단원을 선정하였다.

본 연구의 목적은 수학교육에서 스토티텔링의 의미와 스토리텔링 수학 모델 교과서의 개발 원리를 문헌을 통해 도출하고, 개발된 교과서의 현장적용 결과를 보고함으로써 스토리텔링 수학 모델 교과서의 적용가능성을 탐색하려는 것이다. 스토리텔링 수학 모델 교과서는 학생들이 수학을 흥미 있고 의미 있게 학습할 수 있도록 개발한 교과서이다. 교과서의 학습 효과를 극대화할 수 있도록 개발 원리로 맥락성의 원리, 과정지향성의 원리, 소통의 원리, 다양성의 원리를 제안하였다. 또한 수학 모델 교과서의 적용 가능성을 판단하기 위해 현장적용을 실시하였다. 설문지 분석과 면담분석을 통해 스토리텔링 수학 모델 교과서가 교수 학습 방법에서 의미 있는 시도이며 수학을 흥미 있게 학습할 수 있는 대안이 될 수 있음을 알 수 있었다. 마지막으로 스토리텔링 수학 모델 교과서를 개발할 때 고려해야 할 부분에 대한 함의점을 제안하였다.

정보통신기술의 발달과 함께 학교 현장에서는 새로운 교육 패러다임을 현실화시킬 교재로서 디지털교과서를 주목하고 있다. 본 연구는 초등학생들의 디지털교과서 만족도에 영향을 미치는 요인을 가정, 교사, 학교 요인으로 선정하여 만족도 차이를 분석하고, 이들 요인이 디지털교과서에 미치는 영향 정도를 분석하기 위한 목적으로 진행되었다. 충남 지역 초등학생과 학부모 각각 201명을 대상으로 설문을 실시하고, 결과를 분석하였다. 분석 결과, 첫째, 가정 내 인터넷 이용환경, 디바이스 보유 환경, 학습 및 정보수집 용도 인터넷 활용 유무 및 활용 시간, 교사 사용 디바이스 종류, 디지털교과서 수업 시수 및 시간 비율 등의 요인에 대해 디지털교과서 만족도는 통계적으로 유의한 차이를 나타냈다. 둘째, 각 변인들의 영향력을 분석한 결과, 가정 요인의 디지털교과서에 대한 학부모의 인식이 디지털교과서 관련 만족도에 가장 많은 영향을 미치고 있었다. 본 연구는 디지털교과서 사용을 위해 어떤 노력이 필요한 지에 대한 시사점을 제공했다는 데 의의가 있다.
