Fabrication and characterization of fine pitch IR image sensor using a-Si (비정질 실리콘을 이용한 미세 피치 적외선 이미지 센서 제조 및 특성)

  • The microbolometer array sensor with fine pitch pixel array has been implemented to the released amorphous silicon layer supported by two contact pads. For the design of focal plane mirror with geometrical flatness, the simple beam test structures were fabricated and characterized. As the beam length decreased, the effect of beam width on the bending was minimized, Mirror deformation of focal plane in a real pixel showed downward curvature by residual stress of a-Si and Ti layer. The mirror tilting was caused by the mis-align effect of contact pad and confirmed by FEA simulation results. The properties of bolometer have been measured as such that the NETD 145 mK, the TCR -2 %/K, and thermal time constant 1.99 ms.

  • 본 논문에서는 MPEG-1 계층 II와 MPEG-2 계층 II LSF 오디오 복호기를 OAK DSP Core를 이용하여 실시간 응용이 가능하도록 구현하였다. Ungrouping시 이용되는 테이블을 효율적으로 사용하였으며 합성필터부의 RAM과 ROM의 크기 그리고 각 부분의 연산에 필요한 연산량을 최적화하기 위하여 알고리듬을 효율적으로 적용하였고 불필요한 연산 부분을 제거하거나 최적화 하였다.

  • This paper presents an auxiliary TCSC controller designed for damping SSR. Damping controller for SSR is designed in frequency domain for suppressing resonance. The SSR phenomenon and the performance of damping controller simulated by using PSCAD/EMTDC. In this simulation. the power system model for SSR is IEEE benchmark Model and TCSC is simplified to controllable impedance model.

  • This paper describes the principles and structures of an expert system for arrester diagnosis. The expert system analyzes and decides the arrester condition by total leakage current, its harmonic component, and temperature because the deterioration of arresters appeared in an increase of leakage current and surface temperature of it. Additionally, influence of system voltage harmonics and ambient temperatures on leakage current changes were considered in the design. The expert system is consisted of a data acquisition module and a computer for monitoring. The acquired analog data are digitalized and transmitted to the computer by an optical link which is free from interference.

  • A VPN is a private network that uses a public network to connect remote sites or users together. As its popularity grows, companies, organization and even the government turned to it as a means of extending their own networks. To setup a Virtual Private a proper IP VPN Architecture must first be selected. In this paper, the types of IP Virtual Private Network Architecture like the MPLS-Based, IPSec-Based and the SSL/TLS-Based are discussed and compared. The comparison may serve as a guide for selecting the proper IP Virtual Private Network Architecture that is suitable for the company's needs.

  • This study uses distributed parameter systems as the spatial discretization technique, modelling in lumped parameter systems, and applies orthogonal transform and the Picard's iteration method to high order partial differential equations and matrix partial differential equations. In exercising optimal control of distributed parameter systems, excellent consequences are found without using the existing decentralized control or hierarchical control method.

  • In order to reduce the small scale fluctuation resulting from shearing holograpy(Park et. al. 1997), differential panel adjustments were performed for 14 m radio telescope of Taeduk Radio Astronomy Observatory with T2 theodolite It appears that this method improves the surface accuracy by about $50\;{\mu}m$. The measured surface accuracy is, at best, $170\;{\mu}m$. The beam efficiency at 86.2 GHz is estimated to be 44% We also found that the elevation at which Park et. al. performed holography was too low.
