The purpose of this study was to identify the most influential soccer players by appling social network analysis. The subjects were the German national soccer team and the Korean national soccer team participated in the 2016 Brazil World Cup. The pass collected data provided by FIFA were analyzed by social network analysis using the Ucinet6 program and pass success rate. The results are as follows. First, the soccer player with a lot of passes had a high connection centrality in pass-through networks and high proximity. Second, the German national soccer team has appeared key players as Phillip Lahm and Kroos player, and a key player of the Korean national soccer team was Ki,S.Y. Third, the German national soccer team's quantitative indicator value of proximity center and pass success rate appeared higher than the Korean national soccer team's.

Overlay networks have been widely deployed upon the Internet by Service Providers (SPs) to provide improved network services. However, the interaction between each overlay and traffic engineering (TE) as well as the interaction among co-existing overlays may occur. In this paper, we adopt both non-cooperative and cooperative game theory to analyze these interactions, which are collectively called hybrid interaction. Firstly, we model a situation of the hybrid interaction as an n+1-player non-cooperative game, in which overlays and TE are of equal status, and prove the existence of Nash equilibrium (NE) for this game. Secondly, we model another situation of the hybrid interaction as a 1-leader-n-follower Stackelberg-Nash game, in which TE is the leader and co-existing overlays are followers, and prove that the cost at Stackelberg-Nash equilibrium (SNE) is at least as good as that at NE for TE. Thirdly, we propose a cooperative coalition mechanism based on Shapley value to overcome the inherent inefficiency of NE and SNE, in which players can improve their performance and form stable coalitions. Finally, we apply distinct genetic algorithms (GA) to calculate the values for NE, SNE and the assigned cost for each player in each coalition, respectively. Analytical results are confirmed by the simulation on complex network topologies.
In wireless and handheld platforms area, performance, power and cost are key metrics for product success. This is driving increasing levels of on-chip integration in state-of-the-art application processors. The purpose of this project is to optimize and design the energy-efficient embedded system that properly displays video and audio in real time. The requirements are for the media player to be capable of decoding real-time streaming video and audio with the least possible energy consumption for a variety of different clips at different resolutions. We implemented this Linux based multimedia player on Intel's PXA27x platform.
In computer games, the level design and balance of characters are the key features for developing interesting games. Level designers make decision to change the parameters and opponent behaviors in order to avoid the player getting extremely frustrated with the improper level. Generally, opponent behavior is defined by static script, this causes the games to have static difficulty level and static environment. Therefore, it is difficult to keep track of the user playing interest, because a player can easily adapt to changeless repetition. In this paper, we propose a dynamic scripting method that able to maintain the level designers' intention where user enjoys the game by adjusting the opponent behavior while playing the game. The player's countermeasure pattern for dynamic level design is modeled using a Gaussian Mixture Model (GMM). The proposed method is applied to a shooting game, and the experimental results maintain the degree of interest intended by the level designer.
Unlike the value-oriented tendency of the older generation, the MZ generation, which is emerging as a new consumer, values individual happiness and satisfaction by recognizing consumption as a kind of play, and clearly reveals its playful characteristics compared to other generations. Therefore, this study identified users' needs for interaction elements that can give a playful stimulus to the music player UI, a key function of the music streaming app, one of the universal play activities of the MZ generation. Through previous studies, the concept and characteristics of microinteraction and gamification that can be used as play elements and the relationship between play and art as well as playful characteristics of the MZ generation were summarized. In addition, the current status was identified through case analysis of the existing music app's music player UI and user interviews were conducted through contextual inquiry methods. Afterwards, I was able to identify the positive need to apply playful elements to the music player UI through analysis of user behavior patterns, and based on this, I discovered the possibility of providing an immersive music listening experience through playful interaction.
FPS Games are usually centered on a combat game play where the player plays through a first-person perspective as the in-game character, in order to strike the opponent in accordance with each level's objective. In such type of game play, the decision making that leads the player to take certain actions is carried out based on the player's visual cognitive information, and information collected both directly/indirectly via previous game play experiences. Particularly in the case of a FPS game where the mutual interaction between the player and each game level is the key, an analysis of a FPS game player's visual cognitive information can provide intelligence which can help design or adjust structures of a game level. For this thesis, a sample group has been collected and divided into a novice group and an expert group based on their level of experience with FPS games. Then, using eye-tracking equipments, the point of gaze of players in each group were recorded whilst they were playing levels of a well-known FPS title. The point of gaze in the moment the player starts to take actions -right before/after the start of a combat- was recorded in 500 play videos, and as a result each group's intrinsic pattern of gaze could be identified. Through these results, the author plans to develop a methodology that can enhance the difficulty setting and the playability of FPS game levels.

Recently, with the explosive growth of communication technologies, group oriented services such as teleconference and multi-player game are increasing. Access control to information is handled by secret communications with group keys shared among members, and efficient updating of group keys is vital to such secret communications of large and dynamic groups. In this paper, we employ (2,4)-tree as a key tree, which is one of height balanced trees, to reduce the number of key updates caused by join or leave of members. Especially, we use CBT(Core Based Tree) to gather network configurations of group members and reflect this information to key tree structure to update group keys efficiently when splitting or merging of subgroups occurs by network failure or recovery.

Lately the VR (Virtual Reality) game genre is becoming increasingly more popular and it has been cementing its place in the market as its own independent game genre. The key advantage of VR is that it lowers the barrier between player and the virtual world, thus creating an immersive experience. The suggested method develops a game that allows the player to experience what it is like to be visually impaired using the unique characteristics of VR. A distinctive feature of this game is that the character is provided only a limited range of sight, which is created using silhouette outlines. This restrictive visual field is then grafted onto VR and the player can indirectly experience blindness in a highly immersive manner. The silhouette outline along with the particle system is created using Oculus Rift, a headset highly used in VR game development, and Unity 3D game engine. We will also explain in detail regarding the removal of borders between the objects.

This study attempted to reveal the influence of amateur golfers' passionate behavior on training satisfaction and training performance. Accordingly, according to the sample plan from April 1 to June 23, 2023, the key words were set for the first expert interview, "golf player," "golf training," and "golf match" to extract factors that meet the study, and are as follows through SPSS & AMOS 21.0. First, it was discovered that amateur golfers' harmony and obsessive passion had an impact (+) on training satisfaction, and second, passionate behavior had an impact on training performance. Third, it was found that training satisfaction affects training performance. Therefore, rather than distinguishing between success and failure in the process of converting to professional golf, the growth process and positive emotions should be equipped, and the expression of internalization in which self-determination is significant? Efficiency in training? The results are expected to vary depending on how it is handled.
This paper analyzed the user's presence experience and player experience in FPS according to game usage time using Steam's review data. Data was obtained through crawling using Python. In analysis result, it was confirmed that issues related to controllable physical presence and uncontrollable social presence emerged in the group with less game use time, and controllable physical presence was changed to controllable social presence in the group with more play timeFurthermore, through player experience analysis, it was found that the keyword "recoil," a factor in game play, was important.
