  • In obstetrics, cardiotocography is a procedure to record the fetal heartbeat and the uterine contractions usually during the last trimester of pregnancy. It helps to monitor patterns associated with the fetal activity and to detect the pathologies. In this paper, random forest classifier is used to classify normal, suspicious and pathological patterns based on the features extracted from the cardiotocograms. The results showed that random forest classifier can detect these classes successfully with overall classification accuracy of 93.6%. Moreover, important features are identified to reduce the feature space. It is found that using seven important features, similar classification accuracy can be achieved by random forest classifier (93.3%).

  • In the proposed paper, a new algorithm based on Nonlinear Feedback Shift Register (NLFSR) and modified RC4A (Rivest Cipher 4A) cipher is introduced. NLFSR is used for image pixel scrambling while modified RC4A algorithm is used for pixel substitution. NLFSR used in this algorithm is of order 27 with maximum period 227-1 which was found using Field Programmable Gate Arrays (FPGA), a searching method. Modified RC4A algorithm is the modification of RC4A and is modified by introducing non-linear rotation operator in the Key Scheduling Algorithm (KSA) of RC4A cipher. Analysis of occlusion attack (up to 62.5% pixels), noise (salt and pepper, Poisson) attack and key sensitivity are performed to assess the concreteness of the proposed method. Also, some statistical and security analyses are evaluated on various images of different size to empirically assess the robustness of the proposed scheme.

  • Data mining technique was used to track student's performance during years studding in college and determine the impact of GPA_SEC on the GPA student rates according to the current academic advising method used on student's status. The study utilized a sample of 5436 individuals were drawn from two colleges in Majmaah University, KSA during 2013-2018 period. The results showed that the student's completion status in terms of graduation, dropout, Stumbling or dismissed was classified according to the average grades of admission from secondary school GPA_SEC. The results show the effect of the current academic advising that most of students gain less grades comparing with GPA_SEC in addition that the higher GPA_SEC was the higher graduation, dropout and dismissed decreased when GPA_SEC was high.. Therefore, the study recommends tracking students academically to evaluate their results of each semester to find out the causes of the deficiencies and addressing them within the departments.

  • The new commercial maritime law in the Kingdom came comprehensive and detailed for all topics related to commercial maritime navigation, thus responding to most of the problems that arise in the field, specifically regarding the ship as the focus of the rules of maritime law. This system defines the ship in law, regulates its civil status, determines how to name it, determine its domicile, and the conditions for acquiring Saudi nationality. It also contained a regulation of the rights granted to ships by ownership, as well as their lease and mortgage, the mechanism of attachment to them to settle debts and the rights in kind dependent on them and controlling the rights of third parties on ships and the procedures for forcibly selling them from precautionary seizure and executive seizure and then forced sale in public auction. Until this research was an effort to present a clear picture about the legal system of the ship in the new Saudi commercial maritime system and confirming the extent of the success of the Saudi legislator with the ship system in highlighting the legal frameworks for this facility prepared for maritime navigation.

  • The use of the internet has become a basic need for many across the globe. The situation is very much the same for the youth in many countries like Saudi Arabia who have grown up surrounded and accessing the internet. This demographic, however, is at an increased risk of falling as victims to cybercrime because of a low level of technical awareness. This review looks at the level of technical awareness of internet use in 3 different countries which include the USA, South Africa, and New Zealand. The review will compare the situation in these nations with those in KSA. Based on the review and comparisons, recommendations are made for culturally and socially acceptable e-Safety awareness of Saudi youths.

  • Lack of client involvement in construction of public projects has been identified as the main cause of many operational problems. Clients need to perform their roles and responsibilities effectively and efficiently at the right time and through the use of correct methods in order to have the optimum involvement required during all the construction project phases, namely, the planning, design, construction, handover, and operation and maintenance phase. This paper investigates the influence of clients' individual factors on their involvement in construction project delivery. A questionnaire survey was distributed to various government agencies of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA). Explanatory Factory Analysis was performed to group nineteen individual factors. The factor analysis result suggests that the individual factors that can involve clients' involvement in construction projects can be grouped into five, which are: adequacy of knowledge and experience for decision making in the early stage of design; ability to communicate clearly; job satisfaction; personal skills; and expertise in design and construction.

  • The healthy products dedicated for young people are qualified as a solution to protect the future generation, especially that most commercial deals do not consider the consumer's health and environment. Therefore, it is crucial to define the antecedent of healthy purchases and to examine their impact on teenagers. This research aims to explore the antecedents and the consequences of the consumption of Saudis teenagers. Therefore, we develop a research model in the conceptual framework and the hypotheses to test. The empirical analysis required two samples from Saudis youth consumers. The first sample was utilized in the exploratory study with SPSS software. Then, the second was employed to the confirmatory part with the Amos software, as well as the validation of the hypotheses, and model with Fuzzy Set approach. The findings of this study have significant insights into the Saudi consumption and implications for both practitioners and researchers. Then, we have particularly strenuous on intention purchase antecedents of organic foods, and their consume habit moderation.

  • The purpose of study is provide the basic data for set up proper illuminance of examination room that put purpose of an empirical study basic data about examination environment setting of the ultrasonic examination on design the examination environment of a new ultrasonic examination. As a method, to investigate the ultrasonic environment related to illumination to take a survey on the ultrasonic examination about test object to 48 parts of six units of general hospital in Busan. As a result, All Door + Curtain showed high scores in analyzing the gender, age, examination part in the case of ultrasonic examination room shielding and LED and light source control is required in the case of kind of light source. In the ultrasonic examination environment survey, the illuminance brightness is average 10 Lux which is included illuminance brightness range recommended the WHO and CEC and illuminance brightness of ultrasonic examination waiting room(ultrasonic examination waiting room, corridor) indicate average 300~800 Lux and it satisfied hospital illumination environment more than 300 Lux recommended by KSA 3011. In conclusion, Basic data suggested that improved future ultrasonic examination environment or designed new examination room on the basis of analysis result of general background and ultrasonic examination related to environment factor.

  • The Research and Education (R&E) program was a year-long, apprenticeship and research-based program that was guided by mentors who are scientists or science teachers. The objective of the R&E program was to help scientifically gifted students in Korea Science Academy (KSA) and Science High Schools (SHS) to enhance abilities in creative thinking, scientific inquiry, problem solving, positive attitude towards scientists, and promoting cooperative research and interests in science and technology. In this study, the impact of the R&E program on the goals of 182 gifted college students in KAIST was evaluated using Likert-type items and multiple-choice method approach that provided a more comprehensive evaluation of the program's impact on science attitudes, creative thinking, scientific inquiry, and interests in science and technology. The results indicated a positive impact on cooperative research, gaining knowledge on the research topic, attitude towards scientists, interest in science and technology, scientific inquiry, and creative thinking in that order. There were rather remarkable and meaningful differences in science inquiry (p<.05), and scientific knowledge (p<.01), between the two groups of KAIST freshmen who came from SHS and KSA in 2006. Implications for science apprenticeship or a research-based mentorship program and their respective evaluations are also discussed.
