Doxycycline Hyclate 및 Doxycycline-L-methylenelysine의 상대적(相對的) 생체이용률(生體刺用率)에 관(關)한 연구(硏究) (Study on Relative Bioavailability of Doxycycline Hyclate and Doxycycline-L-methylenelysine)

  • The present study was undertaken to evaluate the relative bioavailability of doxycycline hyclate and doxycycline-L-methylenelysine, a new synthetic derivative of doxycycline. Single doses, equivalent to 100mg of doxycycline hyclate, were administered orally to 10 healthy male volunteers. Serum concentrations were determined periodically over 12 hrs. by microbiological assay. Peak serum concentrations were reached within 4 hrs. Doxycycline hyclate $(1.38mcg.ml^{-1})$ gave 1.66 tines higher concentration than doxycycline-L-methylenelysine $(0.38mcg.\;ml^{-1})$. And the areas under the serum concentrationtime curves 0 to 12 hrs were $8.38mcg.hr.ml^{-1}$ (doxycycline hyclate) and $5.56mg\;hr.ml^{-1}$(doxycycline).

  • Since 1979, the People's Republic of China has been opeining their marke tprogressively toward all over the world for developing its own domestic economy and international trade. China also has paid a great attention to the international maritime transport due to the fact that its volume of international trade has increased continuoulsy. Under such circumstance, the Chinese Maritime Code was issued in 1992 in which the regulation with regard to carrier's liability occupied an important position. The author, therefore, selected this issue for demonstration of the legal proinciples about carrier's liability which is provided in the Chinese Maritime Code. The study on the issue is under guidance of related international conventions. On the basis of the above, the differences between the Code and relevant conventions have been pointed out in order to make the people in the field of shipping understood for legal system with regard to carrier's liability in China which is a great potential partner of Korea in shipping and trade.

일사의 발광효율을 이용한 수직면 주광조도 예측에 관한 연구 (Predicting Daylight Illuminances on Vertical Surfaces Using Luminous Efficacy of SolarIr radiance)

  • Exterior vertical illuminance is an important factor for lighting control. But, there are not many researches about the exterior illuminance on a vertical surface. In this study, we predicted the exterior illuminance on a vertical surface using vertical luminous efficacy. First, we calculated the vertical luminous efficacy according to the sky clearness category. And we performed the statistical analysis of the measured and the calculated illuminance with luminous efficacy. The MBE and RMSE of the predicted exterior illuminance were-1.2% and 15.5%, respectively. Second, the annual illuminance on a vertical surface calculated with the luminous efficacy and the short-term measured solar irradiance was suggested in this study.

  • Energy consumption analysis of multi-family apartment is an important area of research for the design of energy-saving housing. In this study, we selected a universal type of Flat-type apartments and analyzed the heating energy consumption of variables such as U-value, G-value, infiltration rate, heating setpoint and boiler efficiency with EnergyPlus and eQUEST. With these results, we identify the characteristics of EnergyPlus and eQUEST and provided base data for the design of energy-saving housing. The results indicate that infiltration rate is the most important factors to consider. And eQUEST heating energy consumption is approximately 10% higher compared to the EnergyPlus under same condition.

스트립휜 히트싱크의 냉각특성 (Cooling Characteristics of a Strip Fin Heat Sink)

  • Air-cooled heat sinks are employed in many electronic cooling applications since they provide significant heat transfer enhancement and operational flexibility. Strip-shaped fin heat sink is of interest and needs to be investigated as general cooling products for more applicability. The purposes of this study are to evaluate heat sink performance without bypass flow condition and to determine optimal heat sink geometries. The results show that the decreasing rate of thermal resistance of a heat sink decreases with increasing inlet air velocity, and the increasing rate of pressure drop increases with increasing inlet air velocity, but is not affected by input power. The increasing rate of optimal longitudinal fin spacing is larger than that of transverse fin spacing. The strip fin heat sink tested in this study showed better cooling performance compared to that of other plate fin type.matism. 2004; 50(11): 3504-3515.

실시간 기상정보를 이용한 선박의 종합내항성능 평가에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Evaluation of Synthetic Seakeeping Performance of a Ship Using Real Time Weather Data)

  • There is a limitation for a ship which is sailing on sea to gather weather and seastate informations. To make up for this weakness, land organizations can gather wider variety of information and evaluate the seakeeping performanceon ship. And supply this information to the ship. In this study, calculated the response amplitude of shp motions with the weather information provided in real time, the nominal speed loss with obtaining increase of resistance caused by wave and stochastic process of the seakeeping performance elements. And the results have been achieved to develop a system which can evaluate the synthetic seakeeping performance. Using this system, the results have been studied to determine the feasibility of using simulation in actural operation onboard ship.

Minimizing Empty Trips of Yard Trucks in Container Terminals by Dual Cycle Operations

  • One of the most important objectives of the schedules in a container terminal is to minimize the ship operation time, which consists of discharging and loading operation times. Recently, dual cycling techniques have been used for improving terminal operations, especially for reducing the total empty trips of handling equipment. The main focus of this study is to reduce the empty trip times of yard trucks with minimum delays for ship operations. A heuristic algorithm, modified from a previous algorithm, is proposed to solve this problem. A simulation study is conducted to evaluate the effect of different types of discharging and loading schedules and different locating methods for discharging containers in terms of the performance of the system, including the percentage of the dual cycle operations of yard trucks.

  • The design of the container stacking yard influences significantly the productivity of handling operations in port container terminals. This study proposes methods for determining specifications of the yard considering the travel distance of vehicles and the storage capacity of yards. For a given length and width of a yard, it is discussed how to determine the layout and the dimension of yard blocks. The alternatives of the yard layout are evaluated by using a simulation study.

주광을 활용한 LED조명시스템의 컨트롤에 관한 실험적 연구 (An Experimental Study on Control Strategy of LED System Using Daylight)

  • Visual Environment and productivity are correlated. So we need to create a comfortable visual environment and maintain proper workplane illumination level. We can obtain lighting energy savings and comfortable visual environment using daylight and LED lights. In this study, we characterized the indoor illuminance level according to the sky condition and proposed dimming control strategy of LED lights. Energy savings in On/Off control mode are 40% at clear sky and 28% at intermediate sky. In dimming control mode, energy savings are 77.2% at clear sky and 64.1% at intermediate sky. Then we obtain the appropriate dimming control strategy of LED lights based on data. Dimming rates are 0-14.2-80(min-avg-max, %) for LED 1, 0-19.9-60% for LED 2 and 30-61.4-90% for LED 3. Lighting energy savings are 68.2% for LED dimming system applied this control method.

  • A Study on TOID system which can measure a degree of diagnosis oil Tr. TOID system uses porous ceramic sensor and accept a DC 2000V, this method is to accumulate carbon element generated from the both electrodes from the ingredients the sensor when being vaporized the oil. The main substance of our research were comparison between vaporizing detection result of the oil, gas analysis, withstand voltage, test of acid value, and to define a new technology of measurement.
