Perception of Dental Personnel and Dental Technicians on Interprofessional Collaboration - Focus on Dental Technicians - (치과 의료 인력과 치과기공사의 업무협력에 대한 인식 - 치과기공사 중심으로 -)

  • Purpose: This study has been carried out to help to enhance the measures of interprofessional collaboration between Dental personnel and dental technicians, and between dental technicians themselves through the analysis of recognition of interprofessional collaboration between dental technicians. Methods: The subjects in this study were 130 dental technicians who were self-written questionnaire. The results were analyzed by SPSS 12.0. The collected data was analyzed by frequency and Correlation. Results: As a result of examining the correlation analysis of each question to explore the factors that affect interprofessional collaboration recognition of dental technicians, the group which received criticism from dental personnel showed negative (-) correlation in the interprofessional collaboration recognition (p<0.05). The following groups showed positive (+) correlations in the recognition of interprofessional collaboration : the group who replied that they can utilize information on the patients associated with the prosthesis production (p<0.01); the group who thinks that they are sharing common goals (P<0.01); and the group who replied that Dental personnel are familiar with patients (p<0.01). The following groups also showed higher positive (+) correlations in the recognition of interprofessional collaboration : the group who replied that they frequently discuss patient's information with Dental personnel (p<0.01); the group who thinks they have mutual confidence in one another (p<0.01); the group who thinks that cooperation among their colleagues in dental technique laboratories are being done well (p<0.01); and the group that has high job satisfaction (p<0.01). Conclusion: Effective communication and team work between human resources for providing medical service of the facility are essential for safe and high-quality medical service to patients. Further, such elements are directly connected to efficiency of the entire team. The reliability between dental technician and Dental personnel for cooperation should not be neglected therefore continuous interests in inter-cooperative partnership is required.

  • The purpose of this study is to a study on the development of the DMZ tourism merchandising which use storytelling. also this study is to develop DMZ tourism imagery using the storytelling structured the subject matters based on DMZ. storytelling tourism is the oldest and the best factor of tourism activity among induced factors in these days. As a life of human being is upgrading, the importance of DMZ storytelling tourism merchandising will be magnified. Even tourism commercialization is able to make an achievement as an economical effectiveness to a developing country. Data were collected from 205 members of leading tourism business and job performance in travel agency. data were statistically analyzed using SPSS 20.0. Findings from this study suggest that local government and DMZ tourist business operators consider the storytelling for vitalizing authenticity to improve tourists' satisfaction. also this study is about DMZ tourism commercialization to achieve various opinions of several scholars.

The Effects of Preschool Children's Personality Traits and Parental Child-Rearing Attitudes on Clothing Behaviors (취학 전 아동의 성격특성과 부모의 양육태도가 아동의 의복행동에 미치는 영향)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of children's personality traits and parental child-rearing attitudes on clothing attitudes and color evaluation of preschool children. The subjects for this study consisted of 360 five-year-old children who were attending a preschool and their parents in Cheju Island Korea. Employed mothers had significantly higher score on love acceptance attitude than unemployed mothers did. Female children had more conservative attitude on clothing sex-role than male children did There were no significant gender differences in parental child-rearing attitudes. There were significant relationships between gender and preferred clothing colors. Male children were more likely to prefer blue red, green, and prussian blue for the colors of clothing than were female children while female children liked pink yellow and orange more than male children. Boys selected blue and girls selected pink as the most preferred clothing color. Overall preschool children chose red as the most preferred color black as the most disliked color. The children's sex identification by clothing color was highly consistent with the conservative attitude of adults for all colors. That is preschool children identified pink red and yellow with female color while prussian blue blue and green with male color. Clothing interest of boys was influenced by the mother's state of employment and academic trait. The boys high in academic trait and whose mothers did not have job were high in clothing interest. Clothing management of boys was influenced by emotionality and love acceptance rearing Ttitude. Clothing independednce of boys was influenced by authority control rearing attitude Clothing sex-role of boys was influenced by familism trait. The boys high in familism trait had open-hearted attitude in clothing sex-role. Clothing interest of girls was influenced by academic trait clothing management by sociality clothing independence by emotionality and clothing satisfaction by familism trait. Therefore the more positive personality children had the higher clothing interest and the more desirable clothing attitudes they had.

성격5요인 모델을 이용한 종업원 직무만족과 고객지향적 태도에 관한 연구

  • 본 연구는 의료서비스기업에 종사하는 종업원의 성격 5요인 모델에 따라 종업원의 직무 만족(job satisfaction) 과 고객지향적 태도(customer orientation) 에 미치는 영향을 연구 하고자 하였다. 연구를 위해서 서울과 대구에 소재한 대학병원과 경기도에 소재한 중 소형 병윈의 간호사들을 대상으로 자기기입식 설문조사를 실시하여 총 207개의 유효 표본을 획득하였다. 통계분석로는 응답자특성을 파악하기 위해 빈도분석을 설시하였고, 측정모형의 신뢰성과 타당성 분석을 위해 신뢰성도 분석, 요인분석 및 확인적 요인분석을 실시하였다. 또한 의료서비스종업원의 성격 5요인 모델이 종업원의 직무만족과 고객지향적 태도에 통계적으로 유의한 영향을 미치는 요인을 실증적으로 검증하기 위해 구조방정식 모델 분석을 통해 실시하였다. 그 결과, 성격 5요인 모델은 종업원의 직무만족과 고객지향적 태도에 통계적으로 매우 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이와 같은 결과는 국내에서는 의료서비스업종을 대상으로 성격 5요인 모델을 적용한 연구가 미비한 현재 시점에서 의미 있는 결과라고 할 수 있다. 직무만족, 역시 고객지향적 태도에 통계적으로 유의한 방향으로 영향을 마치는 것으로 나타나, 직무만족이 높을수록 고객지향적 태도가 높아질 수 있다는 것을 실증적으로 확인할 수 있었다. 이와 같은 연구 결과는 다음과 같은 시사점을 찾을 수 있었다. 첫째, 고객과 종업원의 상호작용을 통해 서비스가 전달되는 상황에서 고객 욕구를 인지하고 충족시키며, 요구된 서비스를 전달하고, 고객과 개인적인 관계를 평가할 수 있는 고객지향적 태도 측정모델의 이론적인 토대를 제공한 점이다. 둘째, 최근의 성격이론가들은 성격 5요인 모델이 개인의 성격특성에 있어서 개인차를 설명해주는 포괄적이고 공통적인 구조로 존재한다는 학문적 통합에 동의한다. 마지막으로, 본 연구를 통해서 의료서비스 종업원의 직무만족도는 고객지향적 태도에 통계적으로 매우 유의한 영향을 마치는지를 실증적으로 밝혔다는 것이다. 따라서 관리자들은 종업원의 직무만족도를 주기적으로 측정하여 불만족 요인을 찾아 해결하고, 높은 수준의 고객지향적 태도를 유지하기 위한 노력이 필요함을 시사해준다 하겠다.

Empirical study on the influence of emotional leadership on business performance in the fashion industry - Focused on the moderating effects of organizational culture - (패션기업 CEO의 감성적 리더십이 기업성과에 미치는 영향 - 조직문화의 조절효과 연구 -)

  • The purpose of this study is to assess whether the emotional leadership of the CEO of a fashion company has a significant influence on corporate performance. In this study, a survey was conducten on employees of fashion companies from August 1 to 30, 2015, and 350 copies of questionnaires were collected and used for analysis. Factor analysis, reliability analysis, and regression analysis were employed to analyze the data using SPSS software (ver. 21.0). According to the study results, if a fashion company CEO has higher emotional leadership, it leads to an increase in the job satisfaction and performance of the staff members, and an improvement in new product performance thanks to more investment and development and an expanded R&D staff. Additionally, the higher emotional leadership of the CEO contributes to an increase in operating profits, sales, and market share. Therefore, the importance of organizational culture was confirmed by its regulation effect on the emotional leadership and management performance of a fashion company. According to the results of this study, the emotional leadership of a CEO plays an important role in improving the performance of a fashion company, and future studies are needed to identify how to enhance the corporate performance of a fashion company from various perspectives.

The Relationships between the Levels of Evaluation of the Training & Development for Job skills (직무교육훈련 평가수준들간의 관계)

  • The propose of this study was to analyze the relationships among the levels of training & development evaluation (reaction, learning, transfer). The study has been conducted on 730 trainees who attended in the basic accounting program in L training and development institution through three incidents of tracked research such as reaction survey right after the conclusion of training, learning evaluation through test, and an evaluation of the transferability after 3 months of training. Questionnaires and test papers for analyses were used after their reliability, validity, difficulty, and discrimination have been verified on a pre-test. The research has been conducted for six months from 4 March 1996 to the end of August 1996, and data have been collected through direct research and survey through mail. The collected data have been worked on at SAS program for Windows with a statistical significance level of 5%. Statistical method that had been used was Pearson's correlation coefficient. The result and conclusion acquired from this study were as follows: Between reaction and learning, learning and transfer of training, only a weak positive correlation exists and explanation or prediction variance showing hierarchical relationship was quite weak with 1%. Thus, this research not only does not strongly support Kirkpatrick(1976)'s hierarchical model of $reaction{\rightarrow}learning{\rightarrow}transfer$, but also indicates that the separate measurement on each levels of training evaluation needs to be done. On the other hand, there was a relatively strong positive correlation between reaction and transfer of training. Based on the result, the conclusion, and the restriction perceived through this study, the following suggestions were made. 1. There is a need to empirically analyze and verify the hierarchy of all levels of training evaluation including the evaluation of the fourth level (result) such as organizational productivity, organizational satisfaction, and separation rate. 2. A great deal of efforts will be needed to systematically analyze what the relationships are among the methods measuring the level of evaluation of the training and development, and to apply this result to the training field.

A Survey on the Perception for Legal Education Efficiency of Engineering Department (공학 계열의 법학 교육 효율화를 위한 인식 조사)

  • This study conducted a survey on the perception for legal education efficiency of engineering department. This study is to search for more efficient legal education method to engineering department's students, reflecting the reality that our universities have appointed the subjects - related with engineering accreditation such as engineering law - as compulsory subjects. The method of this study is that with questionnaire extracted the advanced researches, it selected the 180 undergraduates of engineering college in C university as original samples, chose 161 data as final efficient samples except for 19 untrustworthy respondent, analyzed and drew the result. The specific results are as follows. In case of legal education in engineering department, it was found that women rather than men, the students first taking the subject more than those retaking the subject, the students who have taken the basic law subjects such as law and society, an introduction to law, and the students who hope to get a job in their major field showed the higher class concentration degree and satisfaction degree.

  • Computing Technology implementation suggests a dramatic change in work or organizational environment. The study aims to examine how IT adoption affected employees' attitudes toward jobs and behaviors toward customers in restaurant operations. The employee attitudinal variables examined in the study included employees' perceptions on internal work motivation, general job satisfaction, and pride in organization, while positive employee behaviors were used to examine employees' behavioral changes induced by IT implementation. The study sampled employees of full-service and mid-scale restaurants. To test the relationships among the employees of full-service and variables proposed in the research model changed by the IT implementation, six hypotheses were proposed. This study is meaningful in making a progress in finding a support for a link between task perceptions and attitudes in organizational environment change. The practical contribution of this research lies in for restaurant owners or managers to obtain a better perspective of the technology adoption and implementation decisions.

Opinions of Korean dental hygienists on the advanced dental hygienist system in Korea (치과위생사의 한국형 전문치과위생사제도 도입에 대한 견해)

  • Objectives: The purpose of this study was to investigate the opinions of Korean dental hygienists on the Korean advanced dental hygienist system in Korea. Methods: The survey was conducted on 328 dental hygienists working at dental clinics and hospitals in Seoul, Gyeonggi-do, Incheon, and Chungcheong-do. Collected data were analyzed with the frequency analysis, independent-samples t-test, and one-way analysis of variance after their reliability and validity were verified through the reliability, exploratory factor, and confirmatory factor analyses. Results: Respondents preferred sectoral advanced dental hygienists to integrated advanced dental hygienists, but 47.0% of respondents did not respond to this questionnaire item. To become an advanced dental hygienist, 'more than 5 years but less than 8 years' of clinical experience was appropriate according to 45.7% of the respondents and 'more than 30 h but less than 40 h' of training period was appropriate according to 25.9% of the respondents. Respondents thought that the duration of the training period for advanced dental hygienists would be directly proportional to expectations from the effect of advanced dental hygienists (p=0.023). Further, respondents who were usually interested in advanced dental hygienists showed higher expectations from the role (p<0.001) and effect (p<0.001) of advanced dental hygienists than those who were not interested. Conclusions: This study suggests various implications of the introduction of the advanced dental hygienist system in Korea.
