  • This study examined the effects of teacher job stress and emotional intelligence on the turnover intent and job satisfaction. To this end, an early childhood teacher survey of 220 people using SPSS 9.0 data processing, analysis, and the independent variables were used to predict the dependent variable. Simple regression analysis and regression analysis of a follow-up examination were then performed. In the first study, the early childhood teachers' turnover intention due to job stress and job satisfaction revealed job stress to be a significant factor. The children's lack of leadership and administrative support work overload factors contributed to causes of stress. The turnover intention appeared to affect the mind. Second, early childhood teachers job satisfaction, job stress and turnover intention were affected by attempts to mediate the influence of job stress. Therefore, mediation plays a significant role. These results show that infant teacher duties affect the turnover intention and job satisfaction.

The mentoring function had a positive effect on job satisfaction and organization commitment, and decreased turnover intention. The higher quality of personality overcome the turnover intention. Conclusions: The mentoring is very important to enhance the job satisfaction and organization commitment in the newly employees. Loner duration of work(${\beta}=.268$, p=0.008) explained higher job satisfaction. Higher quality of personality(${\beta}=0.279$, p<0.001) also had higher job satisfaction. The explanation power of the model was 36.5% and the revised model explanation was 35.6%. The effective mentoring is closely related to job satisfaction and organization commitment and it can reduce turnover intention.

  • In recent years, growth of the call center industry is leading lots of employment. But caller's frequent turnover deteriorates the labor productivity and increases the employment and training cost. The purpose of this study is to draw some factors by which turnover intention is influenced through literature review and identify a causality between the determinants and turnover intention. Call center callers were surveyed and the data were statistically analyzed. Empirical results indicate that job satisfaction and organizational commitment have negatively impacted on the turnover intention. Job characteristics have positively impacted on job satisfaction and organizational commitment but have not directly impacted on the turnover intention. Based upon the statistical results, some useful suggestions for call center managers are provided.

  • The purpose of this study aimed to examine the effects of job stress on the turnover intention through mediation of vacational consciousness and to reduce turnover intention of long-term care workers based on the results. We used 447 long-term care workers working in Seoul and Gyeonggi area. For the research purpose, the mediation effect was verified after the technical analysis and verifying multicollinearity using on SPSS and sobel-test. The results of this study are as follows: First, the lower the age of care worker and the higher the monthly household income, the higher the turnover intention. Second, the higher the perceived job stress, the higher the turnover intention. Third, the higher the job consciousness of the long-term care workers, the lower the turnover intention. Fourth, job stress of long-term care workers showed statistically significant effect on turnover intention by partial mediation of job consciousness. Based on the above results, I suggested the clinical and policy practice to prevent the separation of long-term care workers and improve the quality of care service for the elderly.

The turnover intention had a positive correlation with job stress (r=.59, p<.001), burnout (r=.64, p<.001), and a negative correlation with the nursing organizational culture (r= -34, p<.001). The predictors of the turnover intention were job demand, insufficient job control, interpersonal conflict, emotional exhaustion, and depersonalization. The results of the study can be used to develop a program for reducing nurses' turnover intention.

  • Purpose In online delivery platforms, platform workers are required to perform both platform labor, which is compensated with immediate wages, and shadow work which is a kind of unpaid job to support the platform labor. Thus, the objective of this study is to empirically examine how platform workers' platform labor and shadow work affect their job burnout and their turnover intention in the online delivery platform context. Design/methodology/approach This study developed a research model by employing platform labor and shadow work to influence job burnout and turnover intention. This study also tested the model by partial least square techniques after collecting 169 cross-sectional data from food delivery riders in Korea. Findings This study found that both platform labor and shadow work affected platform workers' job burnout. In addition, the results showed that shadow work influenced their turnover intention while platform labor did not affect the turnover intention. Based on the results, this study contributed to relevant researchers who are interested in platform contexts by offering measurable constructs on platform labor and shadow work. In addition, this study could provide practitioners with practical implications on managing platform workers.
