A Study n the Application of Career Education Materials in Middle School Home Economics Instruction (진로 교육 자료의 중학교 가정과 수업에의 적용 연구)

  • This study in order to seek for a more effective teaching method, I am to propose a measure that the career education material for female middle school students a program produced already could be applicable on the class and to understand the efficiency by examining practically it to the student. The research method was to make up a questionnaire and gaze two kinds of educational effect. The procedure was that, after surveying the general features in order to help them known their consciousness on the career education Researcher practiced common theorectical teaching on comparative class and moduling teaching on comparative class through making a guiding data. Then Researcher analysed the changing o consciousness on career, knowledge on kinds and numbers of jobs, and the results and rate of interest in the teaching with persentage and t-test. The results are as followed; First, on the consciousness on career, both group showed little change on their wishful job between before and after teaching. On the purpose to get a job, consciousness on work and job, and fixed idea of job on gender, there were some changes, but both groups had few defferences in the changing rate. Second on the consciousness on work and job experimental group recognized the variety of job more than comparative group and wrote more hind of job. Third on the evaluating result, the record of experimental group was higher. Fourth, on the rate of interesting in learning the rate of experimental group was higher. As observed the class applied by the module of female career education is effective, since experimental group showed more consciousness on work and job, evaluation of record after teaching and the rat of interesting in learning, through there was no difference in the consciousness of the career.

Structural Relations of Learning Orientation, Self-Efficacy, Learning Transfer and Job Performance of Farmers who Participated in the Strong and Small Farms Education (강소농교육 참여 농업인의 직무성과와 학습지향성, 자기효능감, 학습전이의 구조적 관계)

  • The purposes of this study are to explain and identify the frame of structural relations of learning orientation, self-efficacy, learning transfer and job performance of farmers who participated in the strong and small farms education. This is an experimental research with the data collected from 495 farmers who have taken the farm education. Based on the collected data, the study conducted a structural equation modeling(SEM) to confirm the validity and analyze the structural relations of the suggested model. Using measured and latent variables drew from the analyses, the study set a structural equation model and tested the model by analysis of the structural equation modeling with AMOS 18.0. The results found from the empirical analysis can be summarized as follows. 1) Learning orientation and self-efficacy positively influenced job performance through learning transfer. 2) The hypothesis that learning orientation would have direct impact on job performance was not supported. 3) The strong and small farms education is useful to expand learning transfer and to enhance job performance. So, government policy support has to reinforce learning support on farmers in order to achieve high performance of learning and job management through farm educations.

  • The purpose of this study is to empirically verify whether there are differences according to group characteristics in the effect of job characteristic requirements on practice performance in university long-term on-site training. Specifically, the relationship between job characteristics (job scope, job content, coaching, benefits), practical satisfaction, and occupational competencies was examined according to the group characteristics (gender types, major types, corporation types). For this purpose, the survey data were collected and analyzed for 752 students who participated in K university long-term on-site training. As a result of the analysis, first, it was found that the job characteristics (job scope job content, coaching, benefits) had structural relationship affecting occupational competence through mediation of practice satisfaction. Second, As for the differences according to the group characteristics, there were differences in the relations. Based on the result, theoretical and practical implications and follow-up studies were proposed.

A Study on Factors Influencing the Job Satisfaction and Organizational Commitment of Organizational members for Accreditation of Engineering Education (대학내 공학교육인증 관련 직무 전담 조직구성원의 직무만족 및 조직몰입 영향 요인에 관한 연구)

  • The purpose of the study was to analyze job satisfaction and organizational commitment of organizational members for accreditation of engineering education. That will allow applying for effective and efficiency job system in workplace. To this aim, this study analyzed 62 organizational members for accreditation of engineering education how they perceived job satisfaction and organizational commitment in their workplace. The main results of the study are follows. First, organizational members' general job satisfaction is very low. Especially satisfaction of job security, wages, promotion and reward is very low. Second, organizational commitment of organizational members is low. Especially continuance commitment is higher in comparison with affective commitment and normative commitment. It means that their retailing potential is huge if they have a chance. Finally, influencing factors of job satisfaction and organizational commitment are job security, wages, promotion and reward. In conclusion, this study suggests effective organizational system for enhancing job satisfaction and organizational commitment of organizational members for accreditation of engineering education.

  • This study analyzed the effect of tax account office female workers' education and training on job performance. The study results showed that having active attitude after training, appropriacy of educational facilities, environment and time, helpfulness on improving job-related knowledge affected workplace satisfaction, appropriacy of educational facilities and environment affected job responsiveness. appropriacy of training time, helpfulness on one's duties, personal growth and improving job-related knowledge, having active attitude after training affected self-development effort. Consequently, adequacy and helpfulness of education and training significantly affected job performance. This study provided implications for analyzing the effect of the recognition of education and training on enhancing job performance in tax accounting industry.

Investigation of Status of School Nutrition Education and Changes in Perception of Nutrition Teacher's Job (학교 영양교육 수행 현황 및 영양교사 직무 비중 변화 인식)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the status of school nutrition education and changes in perception of nutrition teacher's job in order to determine the need for redesign to achieve their ideal job. The questionnaire was distributed to 1,550 nutrition teachers, and a total of 1,487 usable data were collected with a 96% response rate from August to December 2015. Statistical data analysis was completed by using SPSS/Win 21.0 for descriptive analysis. The results were as follows: 45.5% of nutrition teachers periodically implemented nutrition education classes, and 32.7% of responses used creative activity times for nutrition and dietary life education. Various topics were taught such as strategies to improve dietary habits, choice of healthy foods and nutrition labeling, nutrition information, food safety, and environmental problems, etc. Current performance ratios of nutrition teacher's duties and tasks were as follows: nutrition operation 31.3%, foodservice hygiene and safety 28.0%, nutrition management 22.7%, nutrition and dietary life education and counselling 11.6%, and professional development 6.4%. Opinions about ideal job performance of nutrition teachers were investigated to determine needs for job redesign. Two in nutrition management duty tasks and four foodservice management duties duty tasks were reduced. On the other hand, another two nutrition management duty tasks and three nutrition and dietary life education and counselling tasks were increased compared to current job performance.

Job Identity and Job Stress on Elementary School Health Teachers (초등학교 보건교사의 직업 정체성과 직무 스트레스)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to contribute to enhancing elementary school health teachers professional job performance by analyzing their job identity and job stress. Methods: The participants were 138 elementary school health teachers registered at the Busan Metropolitan City Office of Education, and the survey was conducted from the 22nd to 23rd of July, 2010. The collected data were analyzed by percentile, t-test, ANOVA, Pearson's correlation coefficient, and stepwise multiple regression using the SPSS/WIN 17.0 program. Results: The average percentiles of job identity and job stress were 70.6 and 64.0 respectively. Among the sub-factors of job identity, autonomy was highest as 73.5, and among the sub-factors of job stress, job demand was highest as 73.9. There were significant differences in the degree of job identity and job stress according to education status, the number of classes, job satisfaction, enthusiasm for work, and the image of nursing teachers expressed in a word. The regression model explained 21.2% of the variance of job identity. job stress explained 32.0% of the variance. Conclusion: It is important to develop various comprehensive programs for improving job identity and managing job stress. In addition, it is necessary to provide support systems including persons, promotion and rewards to school health teachers.

Influence of Dental Hygienist's Job Satisfaction, Psychological Ownership, and Job Engagement on Job Performance

  • Background: This study is to identify the factors that affect job satisfaction, psychological ownership, and job engagement of dental hygienists on job performance and use them as basic data for manpower management of dental hygienists. Methods: The survey was conducted by 344 clinical dental hygienists working in dental medical institutions. The collected data is PASW Statistics ver. 20.0 was used to analyze. Results: The job satisfaction level of the dental hygienist was 3.38±0.52, and the question that 'I feel that my ability to solve problems has improved compared to the past.' was 3.92±0.80. There were significant differences in job satisfaction, psychological ownership, and job engagement according to general characteristics in age, marriage, education, career, current work experience, and position. There were significant differences in job performance according to general characteristics in age, marriage, education, career, current work experience, position, and number of dental hygienists. Factors influencing job performance were practical activities, income, patient relations, absorption, vigor, dedication, and the number of dental hygienists. Conclusion: Finding different ways to use psychological ownership and job engagement through the job satisfaction of a dental hygienist, and to and to utilize it as basic data for efficient manpower management through job performance.

A Survey on job characteristics and relationships between general characteristics and job satisfaction of the dietician in community health center (보건소 영양사의 직무 특성 및 일반적 특성과 직무만족도의 관련성에 관한 연구)

  • This study was carried out to investigate the job characteristics and relationships between general characteristics and job satisfaction of the dietician in community health center. The subjects were 40 dieticians who responded to the questionnaire distributed at the annual education program in 1997. Statistical data analysis was completed using SAS package program for frequencies, means, $x^2$-test, ANOVA and Duncan's multiple range test. The results of this study can be summarized as follows. 45.0% of the dieticians were 26 to 30 years old, four-year-course university graduates were 75.0% and daily workers were 72.5% The level of the job satisfaction of the dietician in community health center was the highest in the relationship with colleagues. The other parts of job satisfaction such as effects of nutrition counselling and education, value achievement as a dietician, general work and supervision by supervisors were above average, The general characteristics such as the age, the level of education, employment conditions, working hours per week and total length of service were significantly to all fields of job satisfaction except general work.

Satisfaction of continuing education and need assessment according to job characteristics in emergency medical technicians (응급구조사의 업무 특성에 따른 보수교육 만족도 및 교육요구도)

  • Purpose: To assess the satisfaction of continuing education and need assessment according to job characteristics in emergency medical technicians (EMTs). Methods: A self-reported questionnaire was completed by 222 EMTs from May 28 to July 6, 2018. It consisted of questions on the method and need of continuing education, and satisfaction regarding education time, assessed using a 5-point Likert scale. Descriptive statistics, a chi-square test, and ANOVA were used to analyze the data. Results: The responses to questions on the method of continuing education (${\rho}=.000$), satisfaction of regarding the duration of continuing education (${\rho}=.029$), method (${\rho}$< .001), and topic (${\rho}=.000$) varied according to the differences in job characteristics of EMTs. Assessment and management of patients with multiple trauma ($4.17{\pm}.735$) emerged as the most important while license examination protocol for EMTs ($3.33{\pm}.968$) was rated the least important among topics for continuing education. Separation of continuing education (${\rho}$< .001), education method (${\rho}$< .001), education topic (${\rho}$< .001), and necessity of quality management of continuing education (${\rho}$< .001) differed according to the job characteristics of EMTs. Conclusion: It is important to provide a suitable program catering to the diverse requirements of EMTs. The education programs must be tailored to the needs of level 1 and level 2 EMTs separately. To improve the quality of education, it is necessary to evaluate the continuing effects.
