원격 컴퓨터의 GUI 제어와 모니터링을 위한 Mobile VNC 시스템 설계 및 구현 (Design and Implementation of Mobile VNC System for GUI Control and Monitoring of Remote Computer)

  • 무선 인터넷(Wireless Internet)의 발달로 인해 언제 어디서나 네트워킹이 가능한 환경이 구축되면서 휴대폰과 PDA 등의 모바일 단말기가 여러 분야에서 활용되고 있다. 특히 원격 제어에 있어서 모바일 단말기의 이동성은 큰 장점을 가진다. 본 논문은 모바일 단말기 중에서 가장 대중적인 휴대폰을 사용하여 원격 컴퓨터의 스크린 이미지를 전송받고, GUI 제어와 모니터링을 수행하는 Mobile VNC(Virtual Network Computing) 시스템을 설계 및 구현하였다. 제안하는 시스템은 휴대폰 상의 Mobile Viewer, 다수의 원격 컴퓨터 상의 VNC Server, VNC Monitor로 구성된다 VNC 서버와 모바일 뷰어 사이의 통신을 위해서 MRFB(Mobile RFB) 프로토콜을 사용하고, 모바일 뷰어로 전송되는 스크린 이미지는 휴대폰의 자바 실행 환경인 SK-VM이 지원하는 PNG 포맷으로 엔코딩한다. 구현 결과, 이미지 용량은 2KB-8KB로 측정되었고, 65회 전송 결과 평균 초당 전송률은 에뮬레이터에서 4.93fps, 실제 휴대폰은 0.8fps로 기존 시스템보다 빠른 성능을 보였다.

  • The use of POP(Point of Production) systems which help to report the realtime production information to the supervisor class and to send commands to the shop floor is increasing gradually. Future companies will need to break the limit of regions and to exchange information among remote-sited departments and companies located abroad. In order to achieve this goal, Internet which is growing remarkably nowadays will be the best tool. In this research, a prototype of the POP system based on Internet is developed using the Java language. The developed POP system can monitor production status by collecting information from shop floor through a web server and can control production equipments from remote sites.

  • 본 논문에서는 클라이언트/서버 형태로 원격제어 모니터 모델로서 승용차 조립라인을 시뮬레이션 한 컨베이어 시스템을 채택하여 원격으로 제어하는 모니터 모델을 설계하고 구현하였다. 웹 애플릿을 기반으로 구현된 클라이언트 시스템은 상황실에 위치하여 컨베이어 현장을 영상 감시하고 직접적으로 제어를 담당하는 서버에게 컨베이어 제어 명령을 내린다. 제어명령은 서버 시스템으로 전달되며, 서버시스템에 존재하는 구동기가 실질적으로 컨베이어를 제어하게 된다.

  • This paper aims at developing remote control system to control and monitor distributed various devices such as photovoltaic Inverter system through internet. TCP/IP (Transmission Control Protocol/Internet Protocol) and photovoltaic inverter system operated in a row are adopted for network management protocol and applied device, respectively. For controlling and monitoring distributed devices in real-time, java-environment software is constructed. Also, HelloDevice, general-use interface controller between network device and applied device is proposed. Finally, serial communication such as RS-232C is used between controller and applied device.

  • This research presents new type of remote monitoring and control solution of PLC that can be used bi-directional and efficient management of factory automation through internet. This system has client/server architect for information handling between PLC and remote computer where a user can control and monitor target PLC. Actually the authors redirect RS232C connection between PLC and server computer into Internet connection between PLC and remote client computer using supplied PLC tool program So user feel like in front of PLC panel when he operates remote PLC through Internet. Each client/server program is constructed with Java language for security. In this paper the internet-based remote control system was proposed and proved validity by being applied to redirection of PLC control for factory automation.

  • This paper is about a system development which control and monitor a PLC of the remote-distance through the Internet using the web-browser. In general, the PLC uses its own communication protocol of PLC Manufacture. It is actually impossible to be used through the Internet, because the PLC communication protocol is basically developed to be suitable for short-distance. Therefore, what we need is a transformation system which can convert the PLC communication protocol into the form which can connect to the Internet. In that sense, this paper is that about remote-control method through the WWW ( World Wide Web ). This system have three characteristics. First, it is possible to connect the Internet directly irrespective of CPU, Operating system and browser. Second, it is easy for user to access and treat. Third, it needs only HTML to operate without java or plug-in expansion. In this paper, we will introduce the monitoring and control system of PLC on the Linux with the Apache web-server.

  • Virtual manufacturing systems that perform production activities ahead of real production in virtual world can reduce time and cost to develop, design, plan, and manage new products. In this paper, a virtual manufacturing system is constructed as a tool to support decision making by using VRML and Java. The basic structure of the virtual manufacturing system and the operation models are also presented. The developed system helps any related persons to share design and manufacturing information, and to perform their tasks collaboratively through Internet. The other function of the system is to monitor operation status in real time.
