Near-rings considered are right near-rings and R is a near-ring. $J_0^r(R)$, the right Jacobson radical of R of type-0, was introduced and studied by the present authors. In this paper $J_1^r(R)$ and $J_2^r(R)$, the right Jacobson radicals of R of type-1 and type-2 are introduced. It is proved that both $J_1^r$ and $J_2^r$ are radicals for near-rings and $J_0^r(R){\subseteq}J_1^r(R){\subseteq}J_2^r(R)$. Unlike the left Jacobson radical classes, the right Jacobson radical class of type-2 contains $M_0(G)$ for many of the finite groups G. Depending on the structure of G, $M_0(G)$ belongs to different right Jacobson radical classes of near-rings. Also unlike left Jacobson-type radicals, the constant part of R is contained in every right 1-modular (2-modular) right ideal of R. For any family of near-rings $R_i$, $i{\in}I$, $J_{\nu}^r({\oplus}_{i{\in}I}R_i)={\oplus}_{i{\in}I}J_{\nu}^r(R_i)$, ${\nu}{\in}\{1,2\}$. Moreover, under certain conditions, for an invariant subnear-ring S of a d.g. near-ring R it is shown that $J_2^r(S)=S{\cap}J_2^r(R)$.

파파이야 라텍스를 $(NH_4)_2SO_4$,분획 및 CM-cellulose column을 통과시켜 두개의 획분으로 분리하고 각 획분 별로 pH 7.0, $60{\sim}90^{\circ}C$에서 열 불활성 실험을 행하고 다음과 같은 열역학적인 자료를 얻었다. 1. fraction I 의 z-value는 $25^{\circ}C$이었고 $70^{\circ}C$에서 활성화 엔탈피 (enthalpy of activation) 89.5 kJ/mol, 활성화엔트로피 (entropy of activation) -44.0 kJ/mol K, 활성화 자유에너지(free energy of activation) 104.6 kJ/mol이었다. 2. fraction II 의 z-value는 $23^{\circ}C$이고 $70^{\circ}C$에서 활성화 엔트로피 -22.0 kJ/mol K, 활성화 자유에너지 104.2 kJ/mol이었다. 3. fraction I과 fraction II를 혼합한 경우의 z-value는 $24.6^{\circ}C$, $70^{\circ}C$에서 활성화 엔탈피 90.9 kJ/mol, 활성화 앤트로피 -38.8 J/mol K, 활성화 자유에너지 104.2 kJ/mol이었다. 4. 조 추출액의 z-value는 $23.2^{\circ}C$이고 $70^{\circ}C$에서 활성화 엔트로피 113.8 kJ/mol, 활성화 엔트로피 22.0 kJ/mol K, 활성화자유에너지 106.2 kJ/mol이었다. 이상의 결과에서 fraction I 이 fraction II 보다 열에 안정하다고 볼 수 있었고 파파이야 라텍스에 있는 단백질 분해 효소의 열 안정성은 주로 fraction I 에 기인하는 것 을 알 수 있었다.

UIML 은 다양한 장치에서 사용되는 UI 구성을 위한 XML 기반의 추상 메타 언어로 다양한 Renderer를 통해 각 장치에 맞는 UI 를 생산해 낸다. 기준의 Renderer 는 C++, HTML, WML 등의 다양한 환경을 지원하지만 J2ME 기반의 UI 를 지원하는 Renderer 는 등장하지 않았다. 본 논문에서는 J2ME 기반의 UI 구성요소를 분석하고 UIML 명세로부터 J2ME 의 UI 를 생성하는 방안에 대하여 연구하였다. J2ME 의 UI 명세하기 위한 Vocabulary 를 제안하고, 이를 UIML 과 J2ME UI 요소간의 맵핑에 사용하여 J2ME 플랫폼의 UI 를 UIML 로부터 생성해 낼 수 있다.

반도체레이저로 단면 여기시킨 Nd:VAP 레이저의 내부공진기 제2고조파 출력특성을 조사하였다. 유도방출 단면적과 형광수명의 곱이 커 낮은 발진문턱 특성을 갖는 Nd:S-VAP 매질은 컴팩트한 마이크로칩 레이저에 적합하다. 내부공진기를 이용한 제2고조파 발진문턱에너지가 81 uJ로 측정되어 쉽게 발진됨을 확인하였다. 여기에너지 $2\mu\textrm{J}$에서 제2고조파 에너지 $126\mu\textrm{J}$을 얻었고, 내부공진기 제2고조파의 출력을 계산하여 이론적인 해석 근거를 제시하였다. Q-스위치된 제2고조파 출력은 펄스폭 26ns에 펄스당 에너지 $15\mu\textrm{J}$로 저출력에서도 시.공간적으로 깨끗한 펄스를 얻었으며, $M^2$도 1.47로 우수한 빔 특성을 나타내었다.

Recent studies have revealed that Nitric oxide(NO) was one of the demonstration for the physiological regulator, endothelial derived relaxing factor(EDRF) and that NO was produced by ultraviolet irradiation in human. Thus, the present author have carried out a experimental study on the change of hematological, histological value of ultraviolet irradiation in sprague-dawley rats. The subjects were divided into four groups of ten rats each selected at random. There were 4 groups: 1. no irradiation control; 2. ultraviolet $75mJ/cm^2$ irradiation group; 3. ultraviolet $150mJ/cm^2$ irradiation group; 4. ultraviolet $225mJ/cm^2$ group. After a irradiation, hematological and histological tests were performed to observe erythrocyte, hemoglobin, hematocrit, MCH, MCHC, MCV, $O_2$ saturation, pH, $PO_2,\;PCO_2$ value and to observe histological changes. In hematological tests, erythrocyte, hemoglobin, hematocrit significantly increased in $75mJ/cm^2$ than control group and more $150mJ/cm^2$ ultraviolet irradiation group respectively. Also In blood gas tests, $PO_2$ significantly increased in $75mJ/cm^2$ and more $150mJ/cm^2$ group than control group. Whereas $PCO_2$ significantly decreased in $75mJ/cm^2$ and more $150mJ/cm^2$ group than control group (Duncan-Tukey test, P<0.05). In histological tests, control and $75mJ/cm^2$ group unchanged, but more $150mJ/cm^2$ group changed that it was cytolysis, cytotoxic effect, acanthosis, proliferation of keratinocyte, appearance of amorphous cell and pyknotic nucleus, production of sunburn cell. In conclusion, the present author results support the importance of the relation between NO effect and hematological, histological value by ultraviolet B irradiation.

Nearly simultaneous observations for $^{28}SiO$ v=0, 1, 2, J =3-2 transitions in 39 late-type stars have been carried out in February 1995 and 1996 with the 14 m radio telescope at Taeduk Radio Astronomy Observatory (TRAO). Observations for $^{28}SiO$ v=0, 1, 2, J=2-1 lines in the same objects have been also carried out in March 1995 and March-April 1996. The detection rate of $^{28}SiO$ v=l, J=3-2 line for the $^{28}SiO$ v=l, J=2-1 sources was $59\%$. Seventeen new detections in the $^{28}SiO$ v=l, J=3-2 transition and 4 new detections in the $^{28}SiO$ v=2, J=3-2 transition have been reported including the intensity ratios within the vibrational ladders and rotational states.

Let R be a right near-ring. An R-group of type-5/2 which is a natural generalization of an irreducible (ring) module is introduced in near-rings. An R-group of type-5/2 is an R-group of type-2 and an R-group of type-3 is an R-group of type-5/2. Using it $J_{5/2}$, the Jacobson radical of type-5/2, is introduced in near-rings and it is observed that $J_2(R){\subseteq}J_{5/2}(R){\subseteq}J_3(R)$. It is shown that $J_{5/2}$ is an ideal-hereditary Kurosh-Amitsur radical (KA-radical) in the class of all zero-symmetric near-rings. But $J_{5/2}$ is not a KA-radical in the class of all near-rings. By introducing an R-group of type-(5/2)(0) it is shown that $J_{(5/2)(0)}$, the corresponding Jacobson radical of type-(5/2)(0), is a KA-radical in the class of all near-rings which extends the radical $J_{5/2}$ of zero-symmetric near-rings to the class of all near-rings.

In this paper, we consider anti-periodic solutions of the following BAM neural networks with multiple delays on time scales: $$\{{x^\Delta_i(t)=-a_i(t)e_i(x_i(t))+{\sum\limits^m_{j=1}}c_{ji}(t)f_j(y_j(t-{\tau}_{ji}))+I_i(t),\atop y^\Delta_j(t)=-b_j(t)h_j(y_j(t))+{\sum\limits^n_{i=1}}d_{ij}(t)g_i(x_i(t-{\delta}_{ij}))+J_j(t),}\$$ where i = 1, 2, ..., n,j = 1, 2, ..., m. Using some analysis skills and Lyapunov method, some sufficient conditions on the existence and exponential stability of the anti-periodic solution to the above system are established.

We denote by $A^{(k,{\pm})}_{{\alpha},{\beta}}(n)$ the matrix of order n with coefficients ${\alpha}_{i,j}$ by setting ${\alpha}_{1,i}$ = ${\alpha}_i,\;{\alpha}_{i,1}$ = ${\beta}_i$ for 1 ${\leq}$ i ${\leq}$ n and $${\alpha}_{i,j}=\{{\alpha}_{i-1,j-1}+{\alpha}_{i-1,j}\;if\;j{\equiv}$$2,3,4,..., k + 1 (mod 2k) $$\{{\alpha}_{i-1,j-1}-{\alpha}_{i-1,j}\;if\;j{\equiv}$$ k + 2,..., 2k + 1 (mod 2k) for 2 ${\leq}$ i, j ${\leq}$ n. The aim of this paper is to study the determinants of such matrices related to certain sequence ${\alpha}$ and ${\beta}$ and some natural numbers k.

In this paper, we obtain the general solution of a generalized cubic functional equation, the Hyers-Ulam-Rassias stability, and the stability by using the alternative fixed point for a generalized cubic functional equation $$4f(\sum_{j=1}^{n-1}\;x_j\;+\;mx_n)\;+\;4f(\sum_{j=1}^{n-1}\;x_j+mx_n\;x_j\;-\;mx_n}\;+\;m^2\sum_{j=1}^{n-1}\;(f(2x_j)\;=\;8f(\sum_{j=1}^{n-1}\;x_j)\;+\;4m^2{\sum_{j=1}^{n-1}}\;\(f(x_j+x_n)\;+\;f(x_j-x_n)\)$$ for a positive integer $m\;{\geq}\;1$.
