We analyzed evaporation data in the Japanese Ocean Flux Data Sets with Use of Remote Sensing Observations (J-OFURO) Ver.2. There exists huge evaporation in Gulf Stream, Kuroshio Extension, the ocean dessert and the southern part of the Indian Ocean. The temporal variation of evaporation is overwhelmingly large, of which the standard deviation is more than 120(mm), in the Kuroshio Extension region. Also, the result of harmonic analysis gives that this large variation is closely related to annual variation. In addition, the first EOF mode shows long-term variation showing the maximum amplitude between 1992 and 1994 and remarkable decrease after 1994, and large amplitude in the equatorial region and northeast of Australia. The second and third modes were strongly influenced by El Nino. Moreover, we compared J-OFURO2 evaporation product with other products. We used six kinds of data sets (HOAPS3 and GSSTF2 of satellite data, NRA1, NRA2, ERA40 and JRA25 of reanalysis data) for comparison. Most products show underestimation in the most regions, in particular, in the northern North Pacific, mid-latitudes of the eastern South Pacific, and high-latitudes of the South Pacific compared with J-OFUR02. On the other hand, JRA25 and NRA2 show large overestimation in the equatorial regions. RMS difference between NRA2 and J-OFURO2 in the Kuroshio Extension was significantly large, more than 120(mm).

In 1967, as an answer to the question of P. Erdos on a set of integers having distinct subset sums, J. Conway and R. Guy constructed an interesting sequence of sets of integers. They conjectured that these sets have distinct subset sums and that they are close to the best possible with respect to the largest element. About 30 years later (in 1996), T. Bohman could prove that sets from the Conway-Guy sequence actually have distinct subset sums. In this paper, we generalize the concept of subset-sum-distinctness to k-SSD, the k-fold version. The classical subset-sum-distinct sets would be 1-SSD in our definition. We prove that similarly derived sequences as the Conway-Guy sequence are k-SSD.

In this paper we study the existence of conditional expectation for closed and convex valued Pettis-integrable random sets without assuming the Radon Nikodym property of the Banach space. New version of multivalued dominated convergence theorem of conditional expectation and multivalued $L{\acute{e}}vy^{\prime}s$ martingale convergence theorem for integrable and Pettis integrable random sets are proved.

This paper introduces test plan and scenario sets proposed by CDG(CDMA Development Group)for wireless location determination technologies performance evaluation, and proposes new test criteria and scenario sets which are more suitable in Korea environment. We propose two scenario sets. One is based on wireless network coverage, and another is based on test types. We evaluate the performance of AGPS(Assisted-GPS) receiver designed by Hanyang Navicom Co., ltd. and analyze the results according to proposed test criteria and scenario sets.

채굴적에 의한 지표에서의 지반침하발생 위치를 추정함에 있어, 절리군은 필수적으로 고려되어야하는 요소 중의 하나인 바, 각 절리군의 역학적 특성과 이들이 채굴적 상부 암반에 분포하는 양상은 지반침하발생을 가속시킬 수 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 침하발생 범위의 추정에 관한 선행연구의 근거자료로 이용된 자료 중 절리군의 방향성에 대한 조사정보의 신뢰성이 비교적 양호한 자료들을 선별하여 절리군의 방향성을 중심으로 지반침하 발생위치와의 상관관계를 재검토하였으며, 추정각과 침하 지역에 분포하는 주절리군 $J_1$의 경사각을 비교하여 주절리군 $J_1$이 침하에 미치는 영향을 분석하였다.

We often use the Hausdorff dimension as a tool of measuring how complicate the fractal is. But it is usually very difficult to calculate that value. So there have been many tries to find the dimension of the given set and most of these are related to the density theorem of invariant measure. The aims of this paper are to introduce the k-irreducible subsimilar sets as a generalization of the set defined by V.Drobot and J.Turner in ([1]) and calculate their Hausdorff dimensions by using algebraic methods.

The notion of generalized intuitionistic fuzzy sets (GIF sets) was introduced by Mondal and Samanta [J. Fuzzy Math. 10(4) (2002) 839-861]. By this notion, a notion of GIF filters is introduced and studied. Also a new notion of of Hausdorffness is defined on GIF filters and tlleir properties are studied to some extent.

In this paper, introducing various separation axioms on a bi-GTS, it has been observed that such separation axioms actually unify the well-known separation axioms on topological spaces. Several characterizations of such separation properties of a bi-GTS are established in terms of ${\gamma}_{{\mu}_i,{\mu}_j}$-closure operator, generalized cluster sets of functions and graph of functions.
