  • A new sufficient condition for the convergency of an iterative adaptive control algorithm is presented, in which a parameter estimator of the system together with an inverse system model to generate the control signal at each iteration. Also the result is extended to discrete time domain and a similar sufficient condition is derived.

  • A nonlinear iterative filtering based on local statistics and anisotropic diffusion is introduced. Local statistics determines the diffusion coefficient at each iteration step. Anisotropic diffusion can be seen as estimates a piecewise smooth image from the noisy input image in the experimental section, our results are shown to suppress noise with preserving the edges. Therefore, it enhances the image and improves performance.

  • Based on an active set strategy a method for solving lin-early constrained indefinite quadratic programs to solve the correspond-ing system of equations at each iteration is presented. The algorithm takes two descent directions to strictly decrease the value of objective function and obtains a suitable step to maintain feasibility. Computa-tional results on a range of quadratic test problems are given.

  • The flow analysis was made by applying the turbulent models in the scroll volume of centrifugal compressor. The $k-{\varepsilon}.\;k-{\omega}$, Spalart-Allmaras and reynolds stress models are used in which the hybrid grid is applied for the simulation. The velocity vector the Pressure contour. the change of residual along the iteration number. and the dynamic head are simulated by solving the Navier-Stokes equations for the comparison of four example cases.

  • In this paper, we present preconditioned generalized accelerated overrelaxation (GAOR) methods for solving weighted linear least square problems. We compare the spectral radii of the iteration matrices of the preconditioned and the original methods. The comparison results show that the preconditioned GAOR methods converge faster than the GAOR method whenever the GAOR method is convergent. Finally, we give a numerical example to confirm our theoretical results.

  • We establish the polynomial convergence of a new class of path-following methods for SDLCP whose search directions belong to the class of directions introduced by Monteiro [3]. We show that the polynomial iteration-complexity bounds of the well known algorithms for linear programming, namely the short-step path-following algorithm of Kojima et al. and Monteiro and Alder, carry over to the context of SDLCP.

  • Among many structural dynamics modification methods for plate and shell vibration problems, embedding an emboss to the surface is very efficient. But deciding an optimal position and shape using optimization algorithm needs defining geometry and remeshing the model for every iteration step to implement the method, which takes much numerical cost. • Anyone observes that information processing in animal brains is depended on neural networks. On the other hand, engineering models for the neural networks are well known now, and they have been studied, and learning facility is found in the model. We are sure there is a potential in order to create a non Neuman-machine in the engineering models. We studied iteration forms including the engineering neural network models, taking a first step for the creation.

  • In this paper, we design the H$\infty$ optimal controller satisfying robust stability and performance in spite of the plant uncertainty for an electro-mechanical actuator system and analyze the controller in frequency domain. H$\infty$ optimal controller K was designed using iteration algorithm suggested by DOYLE. Using the controller in an electro-mechanical actuator system, the joint with very small coupling rigidity coefficient was used to vary the control parameter. The plant unstructured uncertainty was assumed to be a multiplicative type.

  • In this paper we propose a new iterative decoding method of turbo code which computes the log-likelihood ratios at each MAP (maximum a posteriori) decoder in parallel in each iteration step and combines them with proper weights to produce better decisions. Our results indicate that the proposed decoding method is particularly useful for systems with limited number of iterations and low code rates.
