영유아동기 자녀를 둔 아버지의 역할 행동유형 (Fathering Activities Patterns)

  • The purposes of this study are to identify types of fathers who engaged in different patterns of interaction with their children and to examine the characteristics by different fathering patterns. Data are collected from 323 married men with the oldest child under 12 years old, using the structured questionnaire survey method. The major findings of the study are as follows: First, the fathering activities are composed of four factors, which are affective involvement, caretaking, social involvement and discipling. The respondents tend to exhibit the level of fathering activities higher than middle point. Second, using cluster analysis, three types of fathers are categorized: The affective type fathers scored significantly high on dimensions of affective involvement. Whereas the engaged fathers scored the highest on all domains of fathering, the disengaged fathers demonstrated significantly limited involvement. Third, the characteristics which are associated with fathering activities patterns are father's age, job type, work hour, frequency of meetings after work hour, job satisfaction and child rearing attitude. The results of this study suggest several implications to develop parent education program for fathers and their children.

The Effects of Various Sales Promotions on Sales Promotion Attitudes in Fashion Stores

  • This paper studied the effects of consumers' fashion item sales promotion attitude, depending on different sales promotions (monetary vs. non monetary) and sales promotion benefit timing (immediate vs. delayed) in fashion stores (high involvement product brand vs. low involvement). Three hypotheses were developed. H1; Monetary promotion is more effective than non-monetary promotion in fashion stores. H2; Immediate benefit is more effective than delayed benefit for both monetary and non-monetary promotions in fashion stores. H3; High-involvement fashion brand is more promotion elastic than low-involvement. Data were solicited from 300 female college student and $2{\times}2{\times}2$ between subjects experiment were designed. The results found out that monetary sales promotion effect was more positive than non-monetary and H1 was supported. Furthermore immediate benefit method was more effective than delayed benefit and H2 was supported as well. Significant interaction between sales promotion type and benefit timing was obtained. However, brand involvement effect was not found to the sales promotion attitudes.

고객의 관여도 수준 및 의류판매원과의 성격 유사성이 판매효과에 미치는 영향 (Influence of the Sale Effect at the Similar of the Personality between the Level of Customer's Involvement and Apparel Salesperson)

  • The purpose of this research was to consequences of the sale effect derived from similar type of personality between the customer and the apparel salesperson. For the purpose of the verifications, random survey is made to 225 people over 20 years in age among the residence in the district of Seoul and using SPSS program, the reliability, frequency and crosstabs. The results of this study as follows: 1) In the fashion apparels of higher level of involvement, lower assertiveness but carefulness and analytic attitude of the salesperson is preferred rather than the customer's personality. 2) Difference are shown of the consequence of the sale effect by the corresponding type of the personality, depending on the degree of the involvement. 3) As for the level of the influence of the sale effect by the concordance of personality type depending on profession, student group are more conscious rather than the professional group in the aspect of concordance of personality type with salesperson.

남녀대학생의 패션소비유형과 관련변인의 관계연구 (A study on the relationship between fashion consumption style and the related variables of male and female consumers)

  • The study is to provide the types of fashion consumption of male and female university students and to analyze fashion involvement to the types and students' source of fashion information. Then the correlations were examined between fashion involvement and source of fashion information. The data were analyzed by a factor analysis, one-way ANOVA, Duncan test, cluster analysis, cross-tabulation analysis. The results are as follows: 1. The awareness about fashion consumption is classified into five factors: "hedonic consumption", "impulsive consumption", "brand loyal consumption", "prudent consumption", and "independent consumption". The fashion involvement to the types is categorized into four factors; "pleasure", "trend", "image", and "risk awareness". The source of fashion information is categorized into "mass media", "product information", and "personal information". 2. The fashion consumption is classified into three types: "an independent consumer type", "a brand loyal/ prudent consumer type", and "an impulsive consumer type". 3. In the fashion involvement to the types and the source of fashion information, there is a high correlation between the factors of "mass media" and "trend", "product information" and "pleasure" and "personal information" and "trend".

노년기 여성의 라이프 스타일과 의복관여에 관한 연구 (A study on Life Style and Clothing Involvement of Elderly Women)

  • The objectives of this study were to classify the contents of clothing involvement, to group elderly women into life style types. A method of this study was face to face re-search and questionnaire. Questionnaire was comprised of four sections : 18 Likert type items of clothing involvement measure ; 26 Likert type items of life style measure ; 3 items of clothing purchase measure ; and 3 demographic variables. Samples were 215 elderly women(60∼79 years of age) in Seoul, Korea. The data were analyzed using factor analy-sis, cluster analysis, one-way ANOVA, Dun-can's multiple range test,χ2 test. The results of the study were the follow-ings. 1. Four factors of clothing involvement derived by factor analysis : F.1 'clothing pleasure'; F.2 'clothing symbolism' ; F.3 'perceived risk in clothing purchase' ; F.4 'clothing interest'. 2. Four factors of life style derived by factor analysis : F.1 'active-leisure';F.2 'confidence oriented';F.3 'appearance interest';F.4 'house-work interest and community conciousness'. Three types of life style were defined by the cluster analysis of the 4 factors : T.1 'passive stag-nation'; T.3'outside activity'. 3. There were significant differences in clothing involvement factors according to life style types. Outside activity type perceived 'clothing pleasure' highest level among 3 life style types. Outside activity type and house-work and positive living type perceived 'cloth-ing symbolism' and 'clothing interest' higher level than did passive stagnation types. 4. Elderly women high in educational level were more distributed in outside activity type and the low in educational level in passive stagnation types. 5. There were significant relationships be-tween life style types and source of a clothing allowance, clothing purchase frequency, and a companion of dress store.

Research in Clothes Behavior by Lifestyles of Senior Consumers

  • The goal of this study is to define the types of the lifestyles of senior consumers and identify the differences in the properties of apparel products and the apparel attitudes. To collect the data for this study, questionnaires for the research were distributed from November 20, 2006 to December 15, 2006 to those over 50 living in Seoul, Pusanand Kyunggi and 302 questionnaires were used for the data analysis. The results of the study are as follows. First, six factors were extracted which were "Pursuit of Self-development", "Pursuit of Active Life", "Pursuit of Material", "Pursuit of Diversity", "Pursuit of Family-oriented" and "Pursuit of Recreational Life" after factor analysis of lifestyles recognized by the senior consumers that participated in this study. Second, the lifestyles of the senior consumers were categorized into "Consumption-oriented Type", "Personal Satisfaction-oriented Type", "Family Weighted Type" and "Recreation-oriented Type." Third, three factors were extracted which were "Symbolical Property", "Functional Property" and "Customer Support Property" after conducting the factor analysis on the properties of apparel products. Fourth, significant differences were shown in apparel properties by the lifestyle types of senior consumers in the symbolical property and the customer support property. The "symbolical property" was shown highest in "recreation-oriented type" and lowest in the "family weighted type." The customer support property was shown highest in the "family weighted type" and lowest in the "recreation-oriented type", showing the opposite result. Fifth, significant differences were shown in apparel attitudes by the lifestyle types of senior consumers in "Fashion Innovativeness", "Apparel Involvement" and "Apparel Necessity." The "fashion innovativeness" was shown highest in the "recreation-oriented type" and lowest in the "family weighted type." The apparel involvement and the necessity for apparel for senior citizens was shown high in the "recreation-oriented type" and this showed that the senior consumers valuing recreation also value fashion, have high apparel involvement and feel the necessity for apparel for senior citizens.

공동구매형 소셜커머스를 통한 패션제품 구매행동 연구 - 쇼핑가치, 태도, 구매의도, 의복관여도를 중심으로 - (A Study on the Buying Behavior of Fashion Products in the Group Buying Type of Social Commerce - Focused on Shopping Value, Attitude, Purchase Intention, and Clothing Involvement -)

  • Social commerce is not only a new form of shopping malls that did not exist in the past, but also a new form of media as it gets combined with social networking services. The purpose of this study is to analyze the influence of clothing involvement on the relationship between shopping values, attitudes, and purchase intentions of consumers in the group-buying type of social commerce. A specialized Internet survey company carried out the survey targeting consumers in their 20s and 30s with experience of purchasing fashion products using group-buying type of social commerce. A total of 200 questionnaires were used for the final analysis. Descriptive statistics, factor analysis, t-test, and regression analysis were conducted by using SPSS 12.0 and AMOS 19.0. The results are as follows. First, diversity/informativeness, impulse/accumulation, price, convenience, reliability, interaction, and adventure were identified as shopping value dimensions. Second, especially in cases of diversity/informativeness, price, and interaction, there were significant differences between the high involvement group and the low involvement group. Third, five of the categories, which were diversity/informativeness, price, convenience, reliability, and interaction, had significant influence on attitude and purchase intention. When the attitude variable was included with shopping value as independent variables in the regression model to predict purchase intention, the attitude variable presented a full mediating effect or a partial mediating effect between shopping value and purchase intention. Also, the relationship among shopping value, attitude, and purchase intention was different to some degree according to the level of consumer clothing involvement.

소비자관여의 감성적 측면이 구매행동에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Hedonic Aspect of Consumer Involvement on Purchase Behavior)

  • 제품과 서비스에 대한 소비자의 관여수준과 관여형태는 구매행동에 중요한 영향을 미치는 것으로 인식되고 있다. 이 논문에서는 소비자관여와 관여형태에서 감성적 측면이 지니는 중요성과 구매결정에 미치는 영향을 실증자료분석을 통해 탐색하여 다음과 같은 점을 발견하였다. 첫째, '감성'이 소비자관여의 중요한 구성차원임이 확인하기 위한 요인분석한 결과, 제품구매의 본원적 동기가 '감성'으로 조사된 제품과 효용에 가치를 두는 제품 모두에서 감성적 차원이 소비자관여의 중요한 구성요소임이 확인되었다. 또한 회귀분석에서 감성적 요소가 정보탐색 등 구매과정에 유의한 공헌을 하는 것으로 분석되어, 감성이 소비자관여를 결정하며 모든 제품군에서 구매행동에 영향을 미치는 것으로 밝혀졌다. 둘째, 감성적 동기에 의해 구매되는 제품과 효용적으로 관여되는 제품에서 구매행동의 차이를 분산분석한 결과, 감성적 측면이 소비자의 제품지식 등에 더 강한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 관여동기와 관여수준의 상호작용을 분석에서 상표차별화나 준거집단의 영향을 받는 정도 등에서 의미있는 상호작용이 확인되어 감성적 차원이 관여수준의 영향에 조정적 영향을 미치는 것으로 평가되었다.

쿠팡 리뷰가 상품 매출에 미치는 영향 분석 : FCB Grid Model을 기준으로 (The Impact of Coupang Reviews on Product Sales : Based on FCB Grid Model)

  • Purpose Online reviews are critical for sales of online shopping platforms because they provide useful information to consumers. As the eCommerce market grows rapidly, the role of online reviews is becoming more important. The purpose of this study is to analyze how online reviews written by domestic consumers affect product sales by classifying the types of products. Design/methodology/approach This study analyzed how the effects of review characteristics(reviewer reputation, reviewer exposure, review length, time, rating, image, and emotional score) on the usefulness of online reviews differ depending on the product types. Subsequently, how the impact of review attributes (review usefulness, number of reviews, ratings, and emotional scores) on product sales differs according to each product type was compared. Based on the FCB Grid model, the product type was classified into high involvement-rational, high involvement-emotional, low involvement -rational, and low involvement-emotional product types. Findings According to the analysis result, the characteristics of reviews useful to consumers were different for each product type, and the review attributes affecting product sales were also different for each product type. This study confirmed that it revealed that product characteristics are major consideration in evaluating the review usefulness and the factors affecting product sales.

고교생의 성역할 정체감과 의복관여 및 의복만족에 관한 연구 (A Study on Sex Role Identity, Clothing Involvement, and Clothing Satisfaction of High School Students)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate relationship between Sex Role Identity, Clothing Involvement, and Clothing Satisfaction, among high school students, and the difference of Sex Role Identity, Clothing Involvement, and Clothing Satisfaction according to demographic variables. The questionaire survey was used toward 555 high school students in seoul region during October, 1998. SAS package program were used to analyze the gatherd data. Frequency, Percentage. Factor Analysis, Duncan test, Correlation Analysis and so on. The conclusion based on the results are as follows: 1. With the analyses of Sex Role Identity, Clothing Involvement, and Clothing Satisfaction, we divided the polarized Sex Role Identity into four factors : androgynous, masculine, feminine and undifferentited type. Four factors are considered to decide Clothing Involvement: fashion, interesting pleasure, symbolism, and utility perceived risk. 2. There are significant differences in Sex Role Identity, Clothing Involvement, and Clothing Satisfaction according to demographic variables. 3. The analysis of correlations among Sex Role Identity, Clothing Involvement and Clothing Satisfaction showed that there are significant among them.
