간호대학생의 포커싱적 태도와 임상수행능력과의 상관성 연구 (A Study on Relation of between Focusing Manner and Clinical Competence in Nursing Students)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 포커싱적 태도와 임상수행능력간의 관계를 파악하고 포커싱적 태도가 임상수행능력에 미치는 영향을 확인하기 위함이다. 간호학과 재학생 189명을 대상으로 하여 2018년 12월에 자료를 수집하였고 다중회귀분석 방법을 이용하여 분석하였다. 그 결과 간호대학생의 전공만족도와 포커싱적 태도는 임상수행능력에 유의한 영향요인으로 확인되었다. 특히, 포커싱적 태도의 하위요인인 '표현하기'는 임상수행능력의 하위요인인 '간호과정, 간호기술, 교육 및 협력관계, 대인관계 및 의사소통, 전문직 발전'에 유의한 영향을 미쳤으며, 설명력은 15.7%~19.9%이었다. 따라서 학부과정동안 간호학과 대학생들이 '상황에 알맞은 표현하기 능력'을 기를 수 있는 프로그램의 개발과 함께 교수-학습방법의 적극적 반영을 제안한다.

간호계 학생과 비간호계 학생의 감정이입 능력에 관한 연구 (Comparative Study on the Empathic Ability Between Nursing and Non-Nursing Students)

  • The term 'nursing' is often defined as a therapeutic and interpersonal process that ultimately functions to help clients. In the process of helping, empathic ability(ability to entering into the another's feeling or motives) is an essential factor that has been proved in the fields of psychology and social psychology. In the sense, nursing personnel with high level of empathy is required to accomplish the comprehensive nursing. The purpose of this study was (1) to investigate empathy between nursing and non-nursing students, (2) to examine changes of empathic ability in accordance with their academic years, and (3) to show relationships, if any, between the two concepts, empathy and need-affiliation. For the survey, 325 respondents for nursing department and 378 from non-nursing departments were randomly selected from the two universities in Seoul. The instruments used in this questionaire survey method were Hogan's Empathy Scale and Mehrabian's Need-Affiliation Scale, each of them has established its validity and reliability in many different people and settings. For the analysis, descriptive stative statistics were mostly used by calculating frequencies, percentages and mean scores. T-test, analysis of variance and correlation coefficient were employed to test the differences and the statistical significance. The results of this study are summarized as follows: (1) There was no significant difference in empathic ability detween the nursing and non-nursing student (2) The levels of empathy among the nursing students, 'surprisingly enough, were negatively correlated with their academic years, even though statistical significations was not found. The scores of the empathy are somewhat dropped as academic year going up. (3) No significant relationship was revealed between empathy and need-affiliation. In conclusion, the results of the study repeatedly support the claim that the nursing education must empathize and, also, include the programs that enable nursing students to develop the ability of empathy for their clients.

간호인력의 퇴직추이에 관한 연구 - 일 사립종합병원을 중심으로 - (A Study on a Retirement Trend of Nursing Personnel in a General Hospital)

  • This study was conducted to investigate a shift in retirement of nursing personnel periodically. The periods surveyed in this study were 1977-78. 1982-83. 1987-88 and 1992-93. The data were obtained from personal records of nurses and aid nurses who had retired from a general hospital in Seoul during the above periods. The number of the data analyzed in this study was 429 in all 284 nurses and 145 aid nurses. The obained results were as follows: 1. The average age of the retirements of the nurses was raised to 27. 1 during the period of 1987-88 and fell to 26. 1 during the period of 1992-93. The average tenure of office of the nurses has become longer recently; It lengthened from 2.1 years in the year of 1977-78. to 3.8 years in the year of 1992-93. The average number of the previous employment before entering the hospital was 0.3 during the period of 1977-78. and 0.0 during the period of 1992-93. As for the aid nurses the average age of retirement. the average tenure of office' and the average number of the previous employoment were 25.0, 3.6 years and 0.5 respectively in the order above-mentioned. 2. As for the evaluation items in the final nurse evaluation sheet. such items as good appearance. health. job ability. trust and calmness were highly estimated throughout the periods. The items of the highest score were 'professional knowledge' and 'professional skil' in the year of 1982-83. and 'professional skill' and 'interpersonal relationship' in the year of 1987­88. 3. Private and public environments related to working variables decisive to the retirement of nursing personnel.

과학영재 고등학생들의 학습관련 어려움: 한국과학영재학교를 중심으로 (Learning Difficulties of Science Gifted High-School Students based on Korea Science Academy Survey)

  • 본 연구에서는 한국과학영재학교 학생들의 학습관련 어려움의 원인과 해결 방법에 대해 조사하여 과학 영재 고등학생들의 학습 실태를 알아보고자 하였다. 연구에는 한국과학영재학교 전 학년 284명의 학생들이 참여하였다. 학습관련 어려움의 실태를 조사하기 위하여 창의성 4P 이론에 근거한 과학영재의 학습관련 어려움 설문지를 개발하여 사용하였으며, 신뢰도(Cronbach's ${\alpha}$)는 .88이었다. 결과 분석에는 SPSS 12.0 통계프로그램을 이용하여 빈도분석과 중다변량 분석을 실시하였으며, 유의 수준은 5%미만으로 설정하였다. 과학영재 고등학생들은 학년별로 어려움을 겪고 있는 요인에서 차이를 보였으며, 그러한 차이는 대인관계의 어려움에서 주로 나타났다. 성별에 따른 차이 또한 유의하게 나타났는데, 여학생은 남학생에 비해 일반적 학습능력에서 어려움을 보였으며, 남학생은 여학생에 비해 학습전략 사용에서 더 많은 어려움을 겪는 것으로 나타났다. 과학영재학생들은 학습관련 어려움을 주로 동료들과 함께 해결하는 것으로 나타난 반면, 가장 어려움을 잘 해결해 주는 사람은 928 윤소정.배새벽 기타의 경우 다음으로 AA교사로 나타났다.

NOISH 직무스트레스 모형을 적용한 임상간호사의 직무스트레스 원인과 직무만족도 분석 (Job Stress Factor and Job Satisfaction in Clinical Nurse thorough of the NIOSH Job Stress Model)

  • Purpose: This study was performed to identify the factors of the job stress and to analysis affecting job satisfaction in clinical nurses, using the Job Stress Model by the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH). Method: Data collection was done from July 21 to July 30, 2003. The study was involved in 203 nurses who work at the hospital. It was examined the self-recording questionnaire about general characteristics, work-related factors, non-work factors, instrument revised by NIOSH Job Stress questionnaire translated by the Korea Occupational Safety & Health Research Institute(1999). Instrument about shift work was the tool developed by Kim and Gu(1984). Result: Job satisfaction of subjects at an average level with $1.96{\pm}0.37$ score on the basis of 3 points. According to general characteristics, job satisfaction was high in those with older age and married group. According to work related general factors, job satisfaction was high with working career, an officer to higher grade. According to work characteristics factors, job satisfaction was low with much role conflict at work and much workload and much interpersonal conflict. As for the relationship between job satisfaction and non-work factor, job satisfaction was did not show statistically significant differences. As a result of Stepwise multiple regression analysis, job satisfaction was influenced by shift work, conflicts of between group and grade of office. Conclusion: Therefore, it suggests that the nurses need stress management related shift work for improvement of job satisfaction.

융복합 시대 준비를 위한 국내 간호대학 교육에서의 비판적 사고 연구(1996-2014) 동향 분석 (A literature Review (1996-2014) on Critical Thinking in Korean Nursing Education for the Era of Convergence)

  • 본 연구는 융복합 시대에 중요한 능력인 비판적 사고와 관련되어 국내 간호대학 교육에서 연구된 논문(1996-2014) 75편을 분석한 문헌고찰 연구이다. 고찰 결과 2006년을 기점으로 비판적 사고 관련 연구가 크게 증가하였으며, 연구 설계는 관련 요인을 탐색하는 수준에서 경로모형 구축까지 진행되었음을 확인할 수 있었다. 비판적 사고에 영향을 미치는 요인으로 학력, 연령, 교우관계, 학업성적, 임상실습 기간, 전공만족도, 자아존중감, 자기효능감, 학습방법 등이 확인되었으며, 비판적사고 성향이 높을수록 임상실습 스트레스, 인지된 스트레스가 낮아지고, 문제해결 능력, 임상수행능력, 감정조절, 의사소통 능력이 증가하는 것으로 나타났다. 비판적 사고는 단기간에 획득, 향상되기 어려우므로 지금까지 연구에서 확인된 비판적 사고와 관련된 원인 및 결과변수를 바탕으로 간호교육과정에서 장기적이고 체계적으로 비판적 사고를 향상시키기 위한 교육 프로그램을 개발할 것을 제언한다.

선박기관사 해기실습교육에 PBL(문제중심학습) 활용을 위한 기초연구 (A fundamental study about maritime training for marine engineer using PBL(Problem Based Learning))

  • PBL은 문제를 활용하여 학습자 중심으로 학습을 진행하는 학습방식이다. 선박기관사는 선박이라는 고립된 환경에서 발생할 수 있는 모든 문제상황을 해결하여 선박의 안전운항을 지원하는 전문인이다. 본 연구에서는 이러한 선박기관사 해기실습교육에 PBL을 활용한 선박기관사 해기실습교육에 대한 기초연구를 시행하였다. 실제 H대학교 해기실습교육을 이수하고 있는 학생 56명을 대상으로 6개월간 총5회의 PBL을 시행한 후 설문조사를 시행하였다. 설문조사 결과 문제해결능력, 대인관계능력, 의사소통능력, 종합적 사고력, 자원정보활용능력 측면에서 PBL 방식이 효과가 있다고 하였으며, PBL에 대한 정보가 부족하고 주입식 교육방식에 익숙한 학생들은 일부 거부감을 표하기도 하였다. 본 연구에서는 PBL을 활용한 해기실습교육에 대한 기초연구를 기반으로 향후 개선되어야 할 사항과 발전방안을 제시하고자 한다.

초보간호사의 이직의도 경험 (The Experiences of Turnover Intention in Early Stage Nurses)

  • Purpose: This study was aimed to explore turnover intention of novice nurses. Methods: This study was an exploratory survey including quantitative and qualitative components. Qualitative data were obtained from an open survey question in the survey and analyzed using the method of content analysis. The data were collected from 245 nurses with less than three years experience at six general hospitals. Results: The early stage nurses scored an average of 14.5 (${\pm}3.31$) in turnover intention. Fourteen themes were identified in turnover intention experiences of early stage nurses, and each theme was divided into five categories: interpersonal relationship stress (33.7%), being regretful for choosing a nursing career (21.6), A feeling of low competency for direct nursing care (19.8), dissatisfaction with the welfare of the hospital (13.0), Increased extra-work burden (11.9). The participants requested for improvement in the following conditions to continue a nursing career descending order in priority: wage ($3.6{\pm}1.50$), work load ($3.0{\pm}1.83$), work environment ($2.8{\pm}1.63$), welfare facilities ($1.4{\pm}1.53$), the status of nurse ($1.2{\pm}1.57$), etc. Conclusion: These findings are helpful for the development of intervention strategies to decrease turnover intention of early stage nurses.

친교욕구와 자기표현욕구가 디지털 아이템 구매의도에 미치는 영향: 성별과 구매경험의 조절효과를 중심으로 (The Effects of Needs for Affiliation and Needs for Self-Presentation on Digital Item Purchase Intention: The Moderating Roles of Gender and Purchase Experience)

  • Cyworld was successful where others have foiled because of its unique and profitable business model that relies on the purchase of digital items and its ability to mimic and recreate aspects of face-to-face interpersonal relationships among the members of the online community. The purpose of this study is to understand how the needs for self-presentation and needs for affiliation influence digital item purchase intention, and to analyze the moderating roles of gender and purchase experience in those relationships. Based on the theoretical framework including self-presentation theory and theory of affiliation, we developed the research model and proposed ten hypotheses. A survey was conducted with 225 members of Cyworld. The research model and the related hypotheses were tested using Amos. As the result of the analysis, eight hypotheses out of ten hypotheses were supported. In particular, digital item purchase intention in virtual world was found to be affected by both members' needs for self-presentation and needs for affiliation. We also found that the needs for self-presentation is significantly influenced by innovativeness of members, self-efficacy, and group norm. Also, needs for affiliation is significantly affected by self-efficacy, group norm and perceived value. Furthermore, the results indicate that 1) moderating effects of gender on those relationship is supported; and 2) moderating effects of purchase experience is partially identified. This study provides several implications for academic community and practitioners to understand why the community members pay real money for their digital items as well as how the sales of digital items can be increased in online communities. Some study limitations and future research directions are also discussed.

여대생의 건강증진행위와 관련요인에 관한 연구 (Factors influencing related health promoting behavior in College Women)

  • This study was done in order to analyze the relationship of gender identity, self-esteem, self-efficacy, hardiness, and health promotion behavior in the College Women. The subjects were 275 students from a college in Kyungbuk. The instruments used for this study were made of general characteristics(6 items), gender identity(1 item), self-esteem(10 item), self-efficacy(13 items), hardiness(38 items) and health promoting behaviors(40 items). The data were analyzed by SPSS/$PC^+$ program using descriptive statistics, Pearson's Correlation Coefficient and Multiple Stepwise Regression. The results of this study were as follows. 1. The Mean score of gender identity, self-esteem, self-efficacy, hardiness, and health promotion behavior were as follows. 1) The mean score of the health promoting behavior was 2.24. Among the subcategories, the highest score was interpersonal support(2.91), self-actualization (2.85), and the lowest score was health responsibility(1.62). 2) The mean score of the gender identity was 2.04. 3) The mean score of the self-esteem was 2.85. 4) The mean score of the self-efficacy was 6.50. 5) The mean score of the hardiness was 2.83. 2. Correlations of gender identity, self-esteem, self-efficacy, hardiness, and health promotion behavior were as follows. 1) Gender identity was positively correlated with self-esteem(r=-.287, p=.0000), self-efficacy(r=-.226, p=.0000), hardiness(r=.237, p=.0000), health promotion behavior(r=-.236, p=.0000). 2) Self-esteem was positively correlated with self-efficacy(r=.499, p=.0000), hardiness (r=-.275, p=.0000), health promotion behavior(r=.428, p=0000). 3) Self-efficacy was positively correlated with hardiness(r=-.423, p=.0000), health promotion behavior(r=.492, p=.0000). 4) Hardiness was positively correlated with health promotion behavior(r=-.457, p=.0000). 4. Self-efficacy, hardiness and self-esteem were the major predictors for health promoting behavior(35.7%).
